Unable to start weblogic server using another user of same machine

Hi,
I have installed weblogic using my credentials.I am able to start it properly with my credentials.
I am getting error while starting weblogic server from another user of same machine having same admin rights.
It shows following details while starting server and process stops:
<22-Dec-2011 06:15:02 o'clock GMT> <Info> <Security> <BEA-090905> <Disabling C
ptoJ JCE Provider self-integrity check for better startup performance. To enable
this check, specify -Dweblogic.security.allowCryptoJDefaultJCEVerification=true
>
<22-Dec-2011 06:15:02 o'clock GMT> <Info> <Security> <BEA-090906> <Changing th
default Random Number Generator in RSA CryptoJ from ECDRBG to FIPS186PRNG. To
enable this change, specify -Dweblogic.security.allowCryptoJDefaultPRNG=true>
Please advice.
Thanks and Regards:
Priya

Can you check the server log file for more details. The server log file is located in the <domain-home>/servers/<server-name>/logs directory.
There probably something wrong with the log rotation or something similar. Usually when certain files that are created during runtime belong
to a certain user, other users do not have rights or they must belong to the same group.
Also note that the messages are only info messages and are not really the cause.

  • Starting WebLogic Server using Console

This is a simple question. I am trying to start the WebLogic Server
using the WebLogic Console. It seems to be starting the wrong WebLogic
    server.
When I monitor the log information in the console I see it starts the
    server with a 32ms and a 32mx whereas in my startWebLogic.sh script I
have specified 128ms and 128mx. How do I make my startconsole.sh script
read the correct startWebLogic.sh script ? This is on solaris.
When I ran the script startWebLogic.sh it was able to start up
    completely.
    Thanks.

    Ted,
Thanks for the reply. Just another question on this-I have added a lot of jar files to the
WEBLOGICCLASSPATH in my startWebLogic.sh script. I presume since I am starting the server using the
console I need to add this information(the WEBLOGICCLASSPATH variable) to the startConsole.sh script
and try running the server again.
Currently its reporting that its unable to find the server classes which I wrote.

    Aswin,
Sorry for the confusion. When you start the server in the console, you get a dialog window. There
is a button labled "Advanced..." Click on that and set the "Java Heap (MB)" to 128. That will do
    what you want it to.

I guess I was not clear on my problem. When I start the weblogic server using the

running another version of the startweblogic.sh script which I dont know where its getting
    from.

    Aswin,
Did you edit your startConsole.sh? The last line in that file should set your ms and mx.
    It should say something like:
    $JAVA -ms16m -mx48m -classpath $JAVACLASSPATH weblogic.Console
Changing the ms and mx values here should have the affect you're looking for.

  • Unable to start weblogic server from workshop

I am able to start weblogic through command window. when i try to start via workshop,Nothing happens but weblogic server progress bar says ( starting weblogic server). Please advise.

    Hello,
Table 'slee_db.beaxacmlap' doesn't exist 1. Check the permissions of the user that connects to the database. Can it create tables in this specified schema? If not update your JDBC configuration via the WLS Admin Console or update the permissions on database side.
    2. Does the table exist? If not, the easiest is to start the domain in development mode once so that the tables are created automatically. When this is done, you can switch back to production mode if you run this setting. The production mode can be enabled / disabled in config.xl via the domain configuration section of the WLS Admin console or via startWeblogic.sh by setting a environment called PRODUCTION_MODE=true|false.
    3. Be aware that there is another forum as well for your product that you can access via support.oracle.com and than click to "community". The right forum for OCSG is 'Communications Industry->Service Delivery Platform' You can subscribe to it via RSS feed as well.

anyone has the answer? is there any issue in servicepack 6.

    reply to [email protected]

This is almost always a result of not installing the service pack correctly.
You should check the documentation on the service pack to doublecheck that
    you have the correct settings.

  • Unable to start MDM Server using CLIX

I am able to Stop the MDM Server by issuing 'mdsStop' command from command line. But I'm unable to re-start the MDM Server by issuing the 'mdsStart' command from command line. Is anyone else using CLIX? If so, are you successful in starting the server from CLIX?
    My command:
    CLIX mdsStart SERVERNAME
I get no error messages and the command line prompt comes back like normal but the MDM Server is still not running.

Klaus, the point is that the MDSSTOP command will work and the result of this command is that the MDM Server service on the hostmachine gets killed.  I would assume that the MDSSTART command is supposed to startup the MDM Server service on the host machine, but it does not.
The MDMSTATUS command will work if the MDM server service is running.

  • Remote Debug mode while starting Weblogic server using my eclipse plugin

    Hi
When am starting the Weblogic server via my eclipse it is opening in Remote Debug mode. Can anyone tell me how do I change the preferences/configure so that it doesnt run in debug mode.
NOTE:I have deployed the application and ran number of times, till yesterday it wasn't starting in this mode, though I haven't changed any settings since then, it is starting in Remote Debug mode.
    Thanks,

The above issue is resolved by adding this to setDomainEnv.sh :

    export ALTERNATE_TYPES_DIRECTORY
    JAVA_OPTIONS="${JAVA_OPTIONS} -Dweblogic.alternateTypesDirectory=${ALTERNATE_TYPES_DIRECTORY}"

    Hi,
this logs shows that your server is running but it does not have enough memory.

  • Unable to start weblogic server back end in linux

    Hi All,
i am  going to start weblogic 10.3.6 in production environment by using below commend but it gives error:
           >cd /usr/app/oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/base_domain
            >nohup startWebLogic.sh &
But when I use this command I am getting this output:
         -bash-3.2$ nohup ./startWebLogic.sh &
-bash-3.2$ nohup: appending output to `nohup.out'
Can someone please help me in this.
    Thank you,
    Ram

    Hi Ram,
That it's the normal behavior when you use a nohup command, all the output is getting saved into a nohup.out file that you can find in the same location where the startWeblogic.sh file resides..
    If you do:
    tail -f nohup.out
You will find all the output.
Also if you want to see the last 200 output lines do:
    tail -fn 200 nohup.out
The advantage of using nohup is that if you are using a ssh client you can close the client and the process will keep running.
    Hope this helps
    Regards
    Carlos

    Two issues now
    1) How do I get rid of weblogic from my machine manually so that I can do fresh install of 10.3.5?
    2) How do I confirm if it is completely removed because after doing the complete SOA suite installation process, JDeveloper throws me errors that it is not compatible with 10.3.6
Appreciate your help in this regard

    Hi
I am glad your original issue is resolved. For this new SOA installation, you can post a new thread and preferably in SOA Forums and not here in WLS Forums for quicker response: SOA Suite
    1. To begin with, looks like you have a 64 bit machine, so I would recommend first to install 64 bit JDK. Then install Weblogic using weblogic generic installer (.jar). This means if you already have WLS installed using .exe, you may have to delete that and start over.
    2. Worst case even if you want to continue as it is (32 bit), the location of java is kind of not ok having a space in one of the folder names like "Program Files". And is this java installed by you or did it came with machine and if so. If came with machine it will be older version.
I would recommend, uninstall existing JDK and install fresh latest JDK in a path something like shown below that do not have any spaces:
    1. C:\Oracle\Java\jdk1.6.0_24_64Bit = Will have JDK 64 bit
    2. C:\Oracle\Middleware116BPM = Will have WLS 10.3.6. Here you install SOA later on
    3. C:\Oracle\Middleware\Jdeveloper116 = Will have JDeveloper 11.6 installed here.
Now, coming to your actual installation error, do NOT use this command "setup -jreLoc %JAVA_HOME%". Instead just double click on Setup.exe or open a dos window, navigate to that folder and just type setup.exe. The point is do not give -jreLoc. NOW it will prompt to enter full JDK Path. Here you carefuly type full jdk path something like this "C:\Oracle\Java\jdk1.6.0_24_32Bit" (this is on my side...). It should work now.
Caution. While installing any oracle software do not use folder names with spaces. Like c:\Program Files\ etc. Spaces in folder names may be an issue. So avoid that.
Since you are starting all this fresh, I would recommend doing it in the right and correct way to avoid any future issues. It may take few hours of extra time that is totally worth.

  • Trouble starting managed weblogic server on another machine in  acluster

    Hi,
I was having trouble starting managed weblogic server on another machine in a cluster from the command prompt
              I have following setup:
              1) BEA weblogic is installed on 2 machines - local machine A with ip address 172.17.2.219 and another machine B with ip address 172.17.2.201
2)node manager is running on both machines
3)An admin server myserver on the local machine at port 7001
4)In the admin tree under Machines a new machine is created 'Machine1' with Node manager Listen Address: 172.17.2.201
              5) The managed server 'BEAServerMan1 ' instance is created with listen Address 172.17.2.201 and port 7705. This Server is assigened to Machine1. The server also belongs to a cluster 'Cluster1' where the 172.17.2.201:7705 is part of the Cluster Address.
              I can start 'BEAServerMan1 from http://172.17.2.16:7001/console/
But I am unable to start BEAServerMan1 from the console using the command :
