Which version of PS has slice tool

Hi,
My version of Photoshop 11 (CS4) did not come with the slice tool.
Can someone tell me which verions of PS comes with the slice tool, if I have to purchase a plug-in, etc.. I really need this tool to design web sites and was misled by Adobe that my version came with it. I even asked Adobe first. I guess you just can't get an honest answer these days.

For almost any PS question (some installation and licensing issues are the exception), I think that one will get better and quicker answers in this forum, but that is just my opinion.
John's directions should work fine. If not, then try Resetting your Tools, but should not have to do that.

You want to build a search form in your application for users to filter the execution of a View Object, or do you look for a search form in the editing environment to get you quickly to a View Object property to edit? In the first case, please read the documentation, its available in all 11g releases (including yours) : Creating ADF Databound Search Forms. In the latter case use the Property Inspector for a VO.

If one would stumble upon some source files of an ADF application for which there is not much context available (like e.g. in the forum thread "SelectBooleanCheckBox/SelectBooleanRadio and getTransaction().isDirty()") ...
... (q1) How can be determined which exact version of JDeveloper has been used to create (or work on) the ADF application?

Which version of flash is best for brush strokes?

Hello,
I am just wondering which version of flash has the best brush strokes. I am using CS6, and it constantly edits my strokes. I heard the older versions of flash have better brush strokes.
I am an animator, and the brush tool is something I constantly use. I might have access to flash CS3 or CS4, and I heard CS3 is pretty close to the macromedia version.
I heard toon boom animate is amazing, but when I tried it, there's no vector lines. Or maybe I am doing something wrong, but my strokes in toon boom animate are pixelated.
I'm basically looking for a version of flash or different software, that has a brush tool that when I draw, it's what I wanted to draw, and doesn't edit my strokes. (By the way, I'm doing frame by frame animation)

If you are planning an upgrade, Flash Professional CC 2014.1 comes with custom brushes, using which you can custom-make a brush that suits your drawing needs. You can read more about it at:

I have a problem with checking the version of my mobo. Your how-to named Will this CPU work on my board? is not clearly answering my question.

My motherboard HAS a red mosfet heatsink but there is NO sticker on it telling "MSI K9A2 CF-F V2". On the box there IS a "125W CPU support" sticker but NO stickers "AM3 CPU Ready" or "AMD Phenom II CPU support". White sticker on the box tells it's K9A2 CF-F while the box and the manual are marked by CF.
The questions are:
1. Which version is it - CF / CF-F / CF-F V2?
2. Which version of BIOS has this specific edition?
3. Will it run my Phenom II 955 out of the box or this specific edition has a too old BIOS?
4. In the case of updating BIOS the only way to do it is to get older AM2/AM2+ processor (the supported by BIOS actually installed on mobo)?
Hope someone practically experienced with this exotic motherboard knows the main answer. It's really easy to get confused about.

The sticker & red HS was only on the earlier V2 MB's, they used the same MB so that was the reason for the sticker. The later ones don't have the sticker but still had the red HS. Yours is one of the latest after they stopped using the sticker. The way that was handled by MSI just made it confusing to a lot of people but I kept track of it more less so when someone came along like you I could give them the information needed.
1 - Yes you have the latest version. You can use whatever CPU is in the list.
2 - All of the versions use the same BIOS. Check the BIOS chip for the number on the sticker, if you can't find it I'll be back soon with a picture of it's location.
3 - It may or may not depending on how old a BIOS came on it from the factory. It might run as 'unknown processor' if it has a late enough BIOS but not the correct one for that CPU. If it runs with that CPU as 'unknown processor' then you can leave it in and then update BIOS to the latest one.
4 - If no go as said above then yes you would need to use another supported CPU to flash BIOS.

Edit: Heres BIOS chip location, last 3 digits in the chip is version #. Example 100 =1.0, 130 =1.3 and so on.

How can I check the version of the Folio Producer tools that a publication has used?

I work on several different iPad publications, many of which use different versions of the Folio Producer tools (some use version 1.1.1 while some use 1.5.0 or 1.6.0)... how can I quickly check the version of folio producer that a publication has been using? I want to aviod accidently working on a publication with the wrong Folio Producer tools which will neccessate recreating a new App.

Here's how to tell which tools you're using and which folios .
To see which tools are installed, choose "About" from the Folio Builder panel menu, and look at the last numbers. For example, 7.0.5.17 means you're using the v17 tools.
To see which viewer version you're using, open the folio in the viewer (either the custom viewer or the Content Viewer) and tap the title. The first two numbers indicate the viewer version. For example, 2.2.0.13.34603 refers to the 2.2 version of the viewer. Unfortunately, the viewer version doesn't match the Folio Producer tools. Here's how they match up:
v12 (tools) = 1.7 (viewer)
v13 = 1.8
v14 = 1.9
v15 = 2.0
v16 = 2.1 (not available for iPad)
v17 = 2.2

Do you still have your old Mac?
How did you migrate from the old Mac to the new Mac? Did you transfer your old software and documents using Setup Assistant? Then your old GarageBand '11 version should have been migrated, and all your instruments.
if you did not migrate GarageBand '11, copy your old Instruments Library and Loop Library over from the old mac. Copy the following folders to a thumbsdrive and merge the missing dontents into the corresponding folders on your new mac: (from the system library - the top level library folder on your Macintosh HD):
/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/
/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/
And if you would like to continue to use GarageBand '11 for access to missing features, copy also /Applications/GarageBand over, but to a subfolder of Applications. I recommend, to install the old GarageBand as well. It can be used in parallel to GB 10.0, and will come in handy, if your old projects are having problems.

The JamPacks are nice to have, a terrific collection of instruments and loops, but if you did not have them previously, that will not help with your missing instruments. You can instll them by buying Mainstage 3. They work well with GarageBand 10.0

Oracle Database 11g 11.1.0.6.0 download on OTN has which version of App Exp

Kind of confusing from OTN download site, 11G download size is 1.7 GB and it says including Examples ( which I guess has Application Express). Which version of Application Express it has ? Is it 3.1 or older version ?

Thank you, but that is not the issue. I am want to know which itunes track with which it is matched. For instance if I have the the remastered version of a song I want to know if it has been matched to the original or remastered track in itunes. There are no downloads(aside from updaters in Software Update.) You need to purchase a iLife 09 or earlier DVD or install iPhoto from the computer's original disks.

DST fix for JDK 5 - conflicting info as to which version has the fix?

It seems that there are some conflicting information on which version of JDK 5 has the DST fix.
as per this link, http://java.sun.com/javase/tzupdater_README.html, it states 5.0_7 has the fix
The US2007DST data changes were incorporated into the following releases: 1.3.1_18, 1.4.2_11, 5.0u7.
This link also from Sun , http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/Intl/USDST/, indicates that it is 5.0_6 or later.

2) But.... the desktop icon to elements points to the (x86) version.

What has happened to my Firefox? No matter which version I use, from 3.0.1 to current, it has become a nightmare to use. Is it me? Or does Firefox now suck as a browser?

I once thought that nothing compared to Firefox. I hated IE8 and still hate and curse Microsoft. But now, no matter which version I install of Firefox I found myself calling the same names I call IE8. I have currently uninstalled Firefox. And have gone back to Chrome.
