0QUANTITY - Six decimal places - Rouding to the third decimal place

Hello experts, how are you?
We are facing a problem with decimal places here in the project.
We're using M3 unit of measure and the user required 6 decimal places.
We already changed ANDEC and DECAN fields from T006 table to value 6,
the key figure itself (0QUANTITY), the key figure in the InfoCube and in the input-ready query, but the recorded data is being rounded to the third decimal place.
Can someone help us with it?
Thanks in advance,
Helder Rios

Hi,
First of all I'd like to thank you for your help guys.
Ashish, I changed the data element RSKYFQUA to 6 decimal places. But when I try to activate the cube, the system is not able to re-create the fact tables.
Do you know if there's a solution for it?
Thanks in advance,
Helder Rios

  • How to get the exact decimal places displayed while exporting to Excel?

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement to display the exact decimal place values in my report. In my pivot table, i duplicated a column named order number and converted to percentage by applying these conditions Show Data As-> Percent Of-> Column. I got a resultant column with one decimal point. As i needed two decimal points i took the xml of the report and changed the minDigits='2' and maxDigits='2' values like this. After that i got the accurate answer. But when i export it as excel sheet it is not showing the % column properly. The values after 0 is not getting displayed. Any solution for this?
    Thanks in Advance
    Thenmozhi

    Hi Thenmozi,
    You can try adding the below statement in the Custom CSS section of the your column properties.
    mso-number-format:"\@"
    Edit your report--> Criteria-->which column you want to display in excel click column properties --> select CCS--> Paste here above code.
    Second way:
    Edit your report --> criteria-->click fx option for your column and apply the below code.
    2. '<span style="display:none">&nbsp</span>' || CAST(your column name AS CHAR)
    Award points it is useful.
    Thank,

  • 11g Client - Inconsistencies at the 16th decimal place

    In TOAD, SQLPlus, & ODBC clients numbers returned from a query are correct (max 3 decimal places)
    In Discoverer & from a report, the numbers are off at the 16th decimal place...
    EG:
    7.081 becomes 7.0810000000000004
    7.090 becomes 7.0999999999999994 (which is exceptionally weird because the rounding doesn't work)
    7.200 becomes 7.2000000000000002
    Any idea what would cause this?
    How can I query from SQLPlus (or TOAD) to confirm whether or not those extended decimal places actually exist in the table?

    Maybe I should have added this little tidbit...Please be as verbose as possible (feasible). Show queries etc. - use copy and paste.
    The particular table in question is an interface table that has been in place for 4+ years.
    The columns in question are of data type NUMBER.
    We just switched the PC that runs this interface to Win7 with an 11g client.Describe the interface. E.g. In what program language is it written?
    Now we see the extended decimals with Discoverer (on any PC) and the interface report (an old report built from developer 6) as well, but not from SQL, etc...How is changing one pc client related to the Discoverer and Reports reports? Has the database server been upgraded also? (full version from select * from v$version; )
    Do you see the same change for "old" data (from before the switch).
    I want to know if there is a setting in SQLPlus or the DB client that limits the display of the decimal places that I can alter to determine if the extended decimals actually show up... (they shouldn't be there at all)Both sqlplus and db may affect the outcome, e.g.
    SQL> desc test
    Name                                      Null?    Type
    A                                                  NUMBER
    B                                                  NUMBER(38,5)
    SQL> show numw
    numwidth 10
    SQL>
    SQL> select * from test;
             A          B
         12345      12345
    123456789  123456789
        123,45     123,45
    123,456789  123,45679
         1,234      1,234
    1,23456789    1,23457
    6 rows selected.The same values was inserted to both columns of test. With scale = 5 for its datatype, B values are rounded (4th and 6th row).
    SQL> set numw 5
    SQL> select * from test;
        A     B
    12345 12345
    123,5 123,5
    123,5 123,5
    1,234 1,234
    1,235 1,235
    6 rows selected.The numwidth setting affects sqlplus formatting.

  • Double value truncated to two decimal places without rounding the value.

    I want to truncate double value to two decimal places without doing the rounding of the value.
    Is there any method which can directly do the truncation.

    There's many ways to achieve this such as using
    BigDecimal's setScale method or type-casting. This is
    the way I like to do it:double d = -5.239;
    d = d > 0 ? Math.floor(d * 100) / 100.0 : Math.ceil(d
    * 100) / 100.0;
    Your division by 100 may cause an rounding error, because there are numbers which no finite binary representation. That's splitting hairs! I know ;-)

  • Re: How do I get the currency output to show the proper decimal placement?

    You have to apply the number format to each double that you want to format. Any numeric strings will have to be converted to double first, then formated.
            NumberFormat nf = NumberFormat.getCurrencyInstance(Locale.US);
            System.out.println(nf.format(293029.93820));
            System.out.println(nf.format(491993.999));
            System.out.println(nf.format(49.011));

    That did it! Thank you for the help.
    I didn't realize you had to place it within the TextArea

    Macbook Pro purchased December 2014.....was fine until update iOS  to Yosemite 2 days ago. Now, when turned on my image with my name comes up on the screen...no place to put your password.....at the bottom...restart, but used cursor to click on the restart and also my name, the image etc....nothing happens.
    I shutdown to go into the Recovery OS....and got the screen about resetting the password....which doesn't need reset. The third choice seemed more appropriate regarding the keyboard...but could not click on any of them with the cursor.
    Spent an hour with Apple support who ended up referring me to an Apple store that's a 100 mile round trip from me. Can't believe they can't help me...and can't believe this is happening to a brand new Mac.....guess Apple is no different than any other computer...install an update or upgrade...and immediately have problems.
    Exasperated,

    Resetting User Password in Lion and Mountain Lion
    Boot into your Recovery Partition by holding down the Command and R keys whilst booting.
    When the Recovery screen appears, go to the Utilities menu and open Terminal.
    In Terminal, type:
    resetpassword
    ...a small app will open and allow you to choose the user for whom you want to change the password. If you are the admin, be certain that you choose your admin user. Type in your new password twice and give yourself a good hint. Click OK (or Done or whatever) and reboot, enjoying the use of your new, hopefully memorable, password.

    Hello,
    the way is written there Activation & deactivation help >>> (see there only to understand the procedure) Common activation problems >>> "Activation limit reached for [product]. This serial number has already been activated on 2 computers." "Maximum activations exceeded."
    >>> How to deactivate or sign out >>> A single license for Adobe software lets you install the applications on two computers—for example, at home and at the office. However, you can use the software on only one computer at any given time.
    If you want to install the software on a third computer, deactivate the software on the computer on which you will no longer use the software. Then, activate the software on the new computer.

  • Integration of Oracle Apps with the Third Party Label Printing Software

    Hi,
    I am integrating Oracle Apps R12 with the third party Label Printing Software(Bartender).
    For generating the Label, I have to create the XML file in Oracle Apps and with the help of Oracle WMS i have to transfer the XML file to the TCP/IP Port.
    Third Party Label Printing Software will pick the file from the TCP/IP Port.
    I am not able to find the way to send the XML file generated by the concurrent program to the TCP/IP Port using Oracle WMS.
    Below are the few links for Oracle WMS:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B25284_01/current/acrobat/115wmsug.pdf
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18727_01/doc.121/e13434/T210618T210847.htm#T210864
    Thanks In Advance..

    Hi,
    I assume, i have already setup profile 'WMS: Label Print Mode' to Synchronous - TCP/IP.
    Basically, you dont have to create any concurrent program for XML creation, Oracle will do it for you 'out of box'.
    Also set 'WMS: Synchronous TCP/IP label request delay' to 100, this is a required step, though none of the documentation talks about it.
    if you think that all the requests are not handled correctly, then you will need to increase this delay further.
    Lastly, verify that the printer is setup correctly in Oracle (Place where you specify IP Address and port)
    Thanks,

  • Inconsistent results using the "places" view on the iPad with geotagged photos

    I am getting inconsistent results with geotagged photos on the iPad (both 1 and 2) OS 5.01.  It seems that sometime photos will show up in the correct location on the places view others will not ( they will not show up at all).  In fact I can have a geotagged photo in one folder, synch with iTunes and it will not show up in the places view and then move that same picture to a different folder (which becomes an album on the iPad) re-synch and it will now show up at the correct location in the places view.  All photos show up in the album view.  Everything is the latest version iTunes, iPad etc.  I can also have many photos geotagged exactly to the same location (exact same coordinates) some will show up, others will not.
    I have used different methods to geotag my photos.  At first I was using Photoshop Elements 8 until they stopped supporting geotagging photos.  Now I am using a third party application GeoSetter (excellent free application).  The GPS data is clearly in the Exif data but the results are not consistent.
    Any ideas?

    I believe I have solved this problem myself and thought others might benefit from what I found.  It turns out to be what I believe as a glitch in iTunes.  iTunes creates a cache of all the photos that you synch with your iPad, iPhone etc.  Apparently it does not update that cache when you change the photo.  At least not the Geotagging data.  The file modify date was changing but that wasn't enough to cause iTunes to update the cache of the photos.  I deleted the cache of all the photos and re-synched and presto now all my photos where showing up at the correct location in the iPad "places" view.
    I might add that I called Apple tech support and was routed to a higher tier support person and was very disappointed with his response.  He basically told me that the "place" view in the iPad and iPhone was designed to be only used with an Apple computer and Apple software and was surprised the places view was working at all with pictures synched with a Windows based machine.  He also said he was unable to help me since he couldn't provide support for non-Apple products.  Although I understand this to a point I think he was too quick to make this decision.  The solution after all was a simple one and one I think he should have known.  I would think this cache problem would happen whether I was using Apple products as well.  I view this as a bug in iTunes.  Apple needs to compare the modified date of the file and update the cache if it has changed.

  • When i Place a PSD in Indesign it comes in at 200+% while the image frame is considerably smaller. How do i place so that the image and image frame match?

    When i Place a PSD in Indesign it comes in at 200+% while the image frame is considerably smaller. How do i place so that the image and image frame match?

    Peter,
    The screenshots tell you everything.
    The second one tells you how the image frame is automatically set up after a one-click place. It's the blue stroked rectangle with the eight control points at each corner and mid-way along the line. This image frame is generated at a proportionally correct height and width for the image it contains.
    Now, if you look at the third screenshot (click on it to see it at a larger size), you will see I've used the direct selection tool (white arrow) to click on the image within the image frame. This CLEARLY shows the image (within the image frame) is substantially larger than the frame generated to contain it. This is indicated by the yellow stroked rectangle with the eight control points at each corner and mid-way along the line.
    Notice that the blue and yellow rectangles are vastly different sizes.
    In InDesign CS5.5, when i clicked to place the image, the image would fit perfectly within its image frame. the blue and yellow rectangles would match.
    I had no need to go click on the proportional fill and centre buttons like i need to do now in CC.
    I have a keyboard shortcut to place. I can't do File > Place for the amount of images i need to place.
    So to reiterate: How do i place an image so that the image and image frame match?

  • Problems with the system decimal point with german regional settings

    I have a Labview 6 app that needs deploying to Germany.
    My app sends strings over VISA RS232 and GPIB instruments with floating point numbers.
    When changing from English to German regional settings, in Windows XP, periods are now interpreted as commas and the app starts truncating my decimal numbers. So in the English Regional Setting when I send 1.234 I get 1.234 but in the German Regional Settings when I send 1.234 I get 1.000.
    I have turned off the "Use localized decimal point" in Tools - Options - Front Panel as well as set any function (Frac/Exp String to Number) that has a "Use System Decimal Point" connector to FALSE.
    Now here's my problem....
    This fixed the issue I was having as long as I am in the development environment, however, once I build the application I still get the truncated numbers. Example: I send 1.234 to an instrument and it sees 1.000.
    Again this works fine in the development enviroment, sending 1.234 reads 1.234 with German regional settings.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Adam

    You can use a simple function of the "Scan from string" function.
    Place "%.;" (Without the quotes) in the scanning string, and this will tell LV to use a decimal point for interpretation. If you place "%,;", this will tell it to use a comma.
    You can place this at the beginning of your format string, and it simply tells the parser how to work, it doesn't otherwise produce an output.
    Using simply "%;" sets the seperator to the system default (maybe the best idea after the code has been run as the changed decimal point character apparently remains changed otherwise). From the LV help
    The following codes control the decimal separator used for numeric output. These codes do not cause any input or output to occur. They change the decimal separator for all further inputs/outputs until the next %; is found.
    %,; comma decimal separator
    %.; period decimal separator
    %; system default separator
    Hope this helps
    Shane.

  • How to access the third party plugin

    i am new to javascript and InDesign.now my work is to access the Third Party plugin styles, the third Pary plugin is all about InMath.
    is it possible to access third party plugin through java prgramming.
    plz help me.....
    by
    subha

    Hello, I'm not a very accomplished JavaScripter, but have found that you can access some InMath at least in CS3. I only needed to be able to refresh the InMath styles from a script.
    If you run this script...
    app.menuActions.everyItem().name;
    it will return the names of all the available menu actions. The list is quite long, but it includes some of the InMath actions. At least the ones you can assign keyboard shortcuts to. In my case, I needed to refresh the InMath styles from a script. So I found the name of the InMath menu action that was returned from the above script (Refresh All InMath Expressions) and was able to make a script that refreshed the styles like this.
    app.menuActions.itemByName("Refresh All InMath Expressions").invoke();
    However, I'm trying to figure out how to do this in CS2 because my client is still using CS2 and can't find the CS2 version of menuActions.
    I think I read your other post about the find/change fillColor bug. I was stuck in the same place and now have it working thanks to the posted help. I was working on a script that would fix fractions based on their colors.
    Hope this helps.

    Yahoo is my homepage, I have been using Firefox for years but when I downloaded Firefox 4 my yahoo email was on the right in place of page options and I liked it better, it was there for a while but now it has gone back to the old way on the left, why is this

    Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third party version of Firefox 4 that runs on OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox
    If you prefer, you can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

    I know how to make individual changes in "marker text" for the Index.
    Is there a place to see the "Marker Text" for the entire index and make changes there?
    I am indexing a book that uses quotes from scripture.
    As an example, I want to change listings from
    Colossians 3:10-11
    to
    Colossians 3 verses 10-11
    I would appreciate any help.
    If this is not the correct venue for this question, please disregard.

    You didn't mention which version of FM that you're using. In FM9, this can now be done in the Marker Pod.
    There are third-party utilities that also let you see all marker content.
    In the freebie category is MarkerWorker from Cudspan at: http://www.cudspan.net/plugins/
    In the paid plug-in category are:
    IXgen: http://www.fsatools.com/ixmid.html
    MarkerTools : http://www.leximation.com/tools/info/markertools.php
    emDex: http://www.emdex.ca/
    Indexing add-ons:
    IndexTools (helpful for formatting and other Index layout tricks): http://www.siliconprairiesoftware.com/Products.html
    In the DIY category, you can create a List of Markers for the Index (with hypertext enabled), open the Marker window (Special > Marker...) and then use ctrl+alt click on the entry to make a hypertext link to the location and see it in the marker window for editing. [Note: you can also do the same thing from the Index itself]

  • Z87 XPower -- What's the third 6-pin power connector for?

    I'm a happy new owner of a Z87 XPower, currently getting it installed and I'm seeing a six-pin power connector between the CPU and PCI-E slots (this is in addition to the two 8-power traditional motherboard power connectors).  I'm assuming it's a PCI-E power connector but can't find any documentation about whether it's required or optional or under what circumstances I would use it.  Is there any documentation out there about this power connector?  It's in a bit of a problematic area as far as cable routing goes, it's next to the rear end of the expansion slots which is as far away from cable management routes as you can get and requires routing a connection over at least third of the motherboard no matter how you run it.

    that 6 pin is only needed if your running 2 or more graphics cards to supply extra power to the PCI-E lanes as its draw will exceed the limits that they have causing instability!
    it is an optional connector and if you only have 1 graphics card its not needed at all (I usually connect it anyway if I plan on going SLI or crossfire in he future!)
