11g Oracle ADF Certification

Hi, can anyone help me to know, is there any certification is available for 11g Oracle ADF developers like SCJP for java developers. If available pls guide me what is the procedure to write the exam, exam fees, syllabus, eligibility.

There isn't any certification specifically on ADF. However there are are certifications on Middleware products. Do take a look at this link:

Any books for Oracle ADF 11g certification

There are currently three ADF books:
The Quick Start Guide to Fusion Development JDeveloper and Oracle ADF - written by me!
The JDeveloper Handbook - Mills et all
The Fusion Developer Guide - Nimphius and Munsinger.
Having been involved in developing the exam, any of the books will help you. If you want to get some practical experience on ADF (which is important for the exam) then we will be announcing a new set of collateral to help you - I will announce this on my blog, hopefully next week. I read this document. It covers unnecesary knowledge for exam, but doesn't explain how this exam form looks like. Let's see an issue; "Explain the benefits of adding service methods at the application module level (rather than at the view level) Learner Create a test client for testing your custom code" . This is a wide content that require description rather than choice test.

i am a newbie in these terms and hence don't know much of the difference ....
I completed OCA developer and now i don't know what to choose next ???
what i have seen online about next certification path is

but where is the certification of ADF ??? any link
also what to choose regardless of what i have in mind.

Hassan,
OAF is not forms and it's not ADF either. These are different products targeting different markets.

i have done oracle certification for 1Z0-554 - ADF Certification on 11-Jun-2011. I tracked the same in the certview.oracle.com.. after waiting for 48 days i have not received any success kit.
I have raised the request again.. on July 22, 2011.. [SR - 21707155]

I deleted bounded code and In another Unit Test I created a simple login.jspx page and applied form based authentication but still facing same problem means something wrong in starting.

Most likely, it doesn't matter too much. I doubt that most employers are terribly concerned with what recent version of Oracle you have a certification on.
That said, if it matters
- What does your organization use? What are their plans to upgrade? If your company still uses 9.2 primarily and has plans to upgrade to 10.2 this year, you're probably better off with a 10g certification. If your company is already running mostly 11.2, you're probably better off with an 11g certification.
- What do most employers in your particular part of the world tend to use? What do job postings in your particular part of the world generally list?

inside the project im having 1 jsp say x.jsp
work environment : (oracleADF 11g) jdev11 and weblogic server 10.3
in x.jsp im displaying 1 go link -> when ever we click on GO link it should go to ComplServlet.java
i tried like,
FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().redirect("/servlet/ComplServlet");
the "ComplServlet" is an URL pattern in web.xml which points to servlet.
but not working
i pointed to faces-config.xml also , not working
i tried to forward like

Oracle ADF 11G R1 and 11G R2 and Internet Explorer 11 Support

Hello,
We are using Oracle ADF 11G R2 (11.1.2.4), and now that Microsoft has pushed Internet Explorer 11 to Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers, we are finding that our application is not working with IE11.
You get the popup that states "You are using an unsupported browser", and while everything renders on the screen, the application does not respond to user clicks.
Does anyone have workaround for IE11, and if anyone from Oracle is reading, can you give any tentative guidelines for IE11 support.

JDeveloper 11g R1 (11.2.3) supported as ADF essentials and running on WebLogic 10.3.6 are the same releases. The difference is that a path is needed if you want to deploy the software on WLS 10.3.6. Quoting the release notes:
+"The ADF Runtime will be installed into a standalone application server by applying an Opatch bundle on top of a 11.1.1.6 version of the Application Developer Runtime environment. In the event that additional patches are needed or desired in addition to the 11.1.2.3.0 patch (for example, if an additional patch is needed for another component in the Application Development Runtime installation), those patches will need to be installed separately.+
+Important note: The patch is intended to be applied to an Application Developer Runtime installation. Applying the patch to a different installation type (for example, Oracle SOA Suite or Oracle WebCenter) is not supported."+

For Glasssfish you don't need to patch the server and only install the ADF runtime libraries - also explained in the Release notes.

Oracle-ADF inlineFrame initializing view scoped bean twice

I am facing strange issue related with af:inlineFrame component. Trying to display/render ADF page inside of af:popup within af:inlineFrame component. The weird thing is when the popup displayed; view scoped bean's @PostConstruct method called twice. That means bean is initialized twice. However it needed to be initialized once since bean is referenced from the page that is going to be displayed inside af:inlineFrame.
Correct flow gotta be:
Click to button openPopup() method called.
openPopup() sets URI then opens popup.
inlineFrame source property set as it's going to display framePage.jspx.
JSF scans framePage.jspx code finds out there is a reference to FrameBean inside af:outputLabel
Construct FrameBean then call @PostConstruct method.
Call appropriate getter and render page.
What happens in my case:

Making FrameBean @SessionScoped solves this issue since bean is kept with session but I don't want to keep it within session. Also setting source property of af:inlineFrame in jspx as hardcoded not fixing the problem.

im using ADF Essential on Glassfish 3.1 with no problem, but glassfish is heavyweight. I think Oracle ADF is not dependent to Application Server , then i tried to use my project with Tomcat 7. I deployed my application on Tomcat 7 , but im getting some exceptions.
Not all application servers support Oracle ADF.
Refer the certification matrix, Tomcat 7 is not listed as being supported.
