ABAP2xlsx file download error

I have got the nugget file for ABAP2XLSX class and imported it using ZSAPLINK. also i installed demo programs 'ZCl_ALV2XLSX_DEMO1' given by Zcl_alv2xlsx. When i execute that program it downloads a excel file in a format (.xls or .xlsx) but while opening the downloaded excel file it gives me a error message stating "EXcel cannot open the file ZCl_ALV2XLSX_DEMO1.xls because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file ".
Please suggest a solution for this. <removed by moderator>

Hi Ivan,
I would try if I only could (and had the time).
The [project site|https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/sources/1016?view=file-source&path=build%2Fabap2xlsx_Daily.nugg.zip] is extremely slow. I can not get the download (using Firefox latest version).

I am Sandeep , My problem is realated to file download from IE. When I use IE6 my code works fine on the PRD server , But when I use IE7 , it gives an error " Internet Exlpore cannot download the file ".
But it works fine on Quality server either i am using IE6 or IE7.

The issue could be due to different reasons, for example the one described here:

CSV File download error

Hi,
We have a struts wweb application deployed on weblogic 8.1.3. There is a csv file download functionality in one of the screen. On that screen, first user has to select certain filter parameters and depending on selections made, he gets a set of records on screen. After this, he has the option of downloading the filtered records(appearing on screen) or the entire data set in database in a csv file. Now if user selects the option of downloading entire datasets then it throws following error on screen. error 400 Bad Request.
log file shows connection reset by peer.
else if he choses filtered data it will be fine. moreover the error doesnt appear always. it behaves in random manner.
Could you please advice what can be the problem? Thanking you in advance

I am having a strange problem. I am having a URL iView and this is pointing to a site and whenever user visit this iView, it gives file download dialog box. And the message which appears Some files can harm your computer. If the . Very typical message.

I have an URL iView which is pointing to say https://www.sdn.sap.com, and this URL (in mine case also) get resolved to https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn. But will give me an error message as mentioned above with following information:

This could be a proxy setting problem on your server.

Application Server File Download Error

Hi Experts,
i have tried downloading xml in to application server .. follwing the link in sdn.
XML file creation in application server
but while scheduling background job it gets cancelled and shows error message ' Error in Control Framewor ' in the log please help me on this..

Could you please give little more details,like what are the transactions used,if possible please send a copy of the code of your program which you are scheduling as back groud job.

Download Helper, even with paid converter upgrade, gives "Invalid Capture File" errors and will not record audio, with "File Creation Error - Unable to rename/copy audio file" Error.

Download Helper Screen Capture worked to capture video if the default "no audio" option is active. But, no audio. The "speakers" or "microphone" audio options are confusing....the audio to be captured is from the video, so what do you choose? With either "speakers" or "microphone" selected, the captured file has poor audio and no video. Re-capture efforts (speakers) get "Invalid capture file error" and "File Creation error- Unable to rename/copy audio file"
The paid upgrade of "Converter" doesn't work.
Instructive documentation - not very good.
Suggestions - Need time delay between initiation of "Record" and starting the video to be recorded.
Could use timer tracking of the record process.
Are there operating system limitations? (Have Windows XP Pro)

Download error "source file could not be read" when closing tab.

So it seems like when I start a download by clicking a link on a website and I close that tab before the download finishes I get a download error and the file stops downloading.
I first noticed this on some site and thought it was a problem with the site, but then it happened again when I went to download the Flash update.

When I run Firefox with add-ons disabled (thanks for the handy menu item) the problem does not occur.

One thing i can tell is that i changed some settings in Micromedia Flash, because i learned that they where spying on US, then boom no more download. It stops and tell me it could not be read from the server. Dont remember if it started right after i changed the settings, but its driving me nuts

Error while opening PDF file downloaded from database Blob column

Hi All,
I am working on jdev 11.1.1.4.0.
In my use-case I am using filedownload Actionlistner on a link to get the PDF file stored in the database in blob field. These files are being uploaded from other use-case in adf only.
After getting the dialog box to open/save/cancel for the PDF file when i click on open then i am getting an error *'Adobe Reader could not open 'abc.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type*
or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly docoded)' for some files , and to my surprise I am able to open some files.
When I open these PDF files separately from desktop I am able to view the content of each and every file in adobe reader.
I dont know where the problem exactly lies , while uploading/downloading the file . Any ideas/thoughts to resolve this issue?

I checked the PDF file downloaded directly from the blob column in DB, there only it is corrupted so must be the problem in uploading the file. I am checking the code line by line,, but no problem in setting the file content type,size etc.

The problem is resolved.
Changes made are instead of
InputStream is;
used ... BufferedInputStream bis ;
and after

I downloaded the Microsoft Autoruns package and ran it. There are no programs in the LSA Providers tab, and Apple's Bonjour is the only program in the Winsock Providers tab. I also did the "netsh winsock reset" and rebooted. It didn't fix the problem. Any more ideas?

It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupting downloaded files or is interfering otherwise.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

Download Error with iTunes 10.2.1 "source file could not be read"

I recently had to restore my iPod due to some issues I was having. After it was done wiping the iPod, a message on my computer told me that after my computer restarted (automatically), I needed to keep my ipod connected so it could re-sync with my backup file. When it restarted, I waited awhile for my ipod to show up in itunes, but unfortunately it never did. I then went to the support page for this, which I have had to do in the past, and I learned that I had to completely reinstall itunes. This is the second time in the past month I have had to do this. I deleted all of the necessary files mentioned on the support page and then restarted my computer. I then went to the itunes download page and clicked download iTunes 10.2.1, the latest version, which is the same version I had before I uninstalled it.
_*THE ERROR:*_
About 30 seconds into the download, I get an error message that reads:
"Download Error
/Users/Berry/Downloads/iTunes10.2.1.dmg could not be saved, because the source file could not be read"
This did not happen last time I had to do this re-installation process.

Can't open raw files in cs5. When I try to download updates I keep getting download errors ? I have a canon 5D mark 111 ?

I am currently running CS5, on windows. I can't open any raw format files in photoshop (I took some photos with a canon 5D mark 111). I went to updates tab to try to update cs5, but I keep getting download errors and am unable to update. Any ideas on how to fix this ? Trying to edit some wedding photo's I took.
