Read data from SAP R/3 Class-System

Hello,
first of all sorry when I posted this into the wrong subforum, but I wasn't sure about that. My Question is how to read data from the Classystem I have specified in my ABAP report.
The goal is to read data from my individual class-system as well as data from MM and write them to a table that is to be read by another report. But right now I can't find information about the class system and abap. Maybe you know some tutorials or blogs about right that topic you can suggest?

What class system have you specified in your report?
Normally a class can be used by declaring a variable of type of the class in question, if this class can be instantiated this is. If your class can't be instantiated, but it has only class methods, you can call this method directly.
But there is a lot more to this ABAP Object Oriented Programming, than just this short explanation. Search on SDN for some ABAP OO Tutorials.

Using delete and FOR ALL ENTRIES

Hi,
We have a error message regarding the following code :
Delete FROM TABLE FOR ALL ENTRIES IN lt_TABLE WHERE
TABLE_KEY1 = LT_TABLE_KEY1
Could we use the For All entries with "Select" ?
For information, the error message is "Unable to interpret "FOR". Possible causes: Incorrect spelling or comma error.

Check the below syntax, if you want to delete from database
DELETE FROM sflight
WHERE carrid = p_carrid AND
fldate = sy-datum AND
seatsocc = 0.
Just a suggestion. May be from next time you can use F1 help for syntax:
1. Place the cursor on the delete keword in your program and press F1 - You willl get all the possible syntax for delete statement
2. Else open the transaction ABAPDOCU, Click Keyword Help, Enter the required keyword(delete in this case) and press cont.. You will get the syntax.

The requirment is we have select multiple hotel , based on hotel selection the report will display, the report layout like:

Hi,
U can use write statement like below
write:/ 'Day 1'.
write:20 'Year 1'.
This will leave 20 spaces between Day 1 and Year 1.
For more information u can go to transaction 'ABAPDOCU' and in Keyword help type 'Write' u will get all options u can use with write statement.

How to get data from other programs output?

Hi gurus,
I have told to do the following can you please help me out.
In SM35 created many batch no. The user would like to know automatically when the session is not ok (error status).
In return of the first program RSBDCBTC_SUB we will get the queues ie QID and QSTATE.
I have told to create new Z-prog.
In that Z-prog how can i get list of QID from the result (Output) of the first prog(RSBDCBTC_SUB )?
How i get that particular QIDs in my Z-prog?

Issue with Submit and Return in passing string/values of longer length.

Hi,
I have a FM which has to submit a report as a job.
I am required to send a string( length could be close to 1024 characters or more than that) to the report as the parameter.
I am using Submit with Return.
1.When I pass my string as parameters, in the report it gets truncated at 60 chars.( though i have defined the parameter of type char1024)I lose the data.
2.When I split my string(aflter logical splitting the lenght is still equal to about 200 chars) and then pass as select options it gets truncated at 45 chars in the report ( though i have defined the parameter of type char1024)and i lose my data.
3.I cannot use Export/Import as I found that it does not work with jobs.
Please let me know how can i sumbit the report as a job while passing it a string of length 1024 characters.

Option 3 should work, unless you are not using the EXPORT/IMPORT correctly. I believe that you are going across work processes, which means you may need to use the shared buffer or shared memory when using the export/import statements.
Something like this.
Data: lv_value type string.
lv_value = 'SomeValue'.
EXPORT lv_value = lv_value
TO SHARED BUFFER INDX(ST) ID 'SomeUnigueKey'.

Problem with submit report for transaction LT23

Hi,
I want to submit report for transaction LT23 based on the double click on a field in the output of my report. I am using selection table to pass values. The problem is I have something called dynamic selections. I am using some selection fields from the dynamic selection option. Can anyone tell me how do I pass the values in such a case?

In your [submit|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu/en/ABAPSUBMIT.htm] statement in the [selection screen parameters|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu/en/ABAPSUBMIT_SELSCREEN_PARAMETERS.htm] use the [WITH FREE SELECTIONS|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu/en/ABAPSUBMIT_SELSCREEN_PARAMETERS.htm#!ABAP_ADDITION_5@5@] option to pass dynamic selections
NB: Use FREE_SELECTIONS_RANGE_2_EX to build the correct parameter texpr.

1) Create custom control in your screen
2)   CREATE OBJECT: container EXPORTING container_name = 'TEXTEDIT',   "--> (this is custom control name in screen)
                   editor    EXPORTING parent = container.
3) CALL METHOD editor->get_text_as_stream "This method reads data from custom control , inserts into itab 'text_tab'
         IMPORTING
          text = text_tab.                                       "
      READ TABLE text_tab INTO line INDEX 1. read the text into wa 'line'

How to display the selection screen fields on reprt output

     I would like to know, which function module is use to diplay the selction scrren fields on the report output.
For e.g:
              on selction scren I have two select options.
     1. Company Code : 0000 to 9999
     2. Fiscal Year       : 2005 to 2008
I need to display these fields on the Report ouput, so that I can know that what selection criteria I have entered on selction screen.

SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK b1 WITH FRAME TITLE text-001.
PARAMETERS : pa_werks LIKE vlcvehicle-werks DEFAULT 'XXX' OBLIGATORY,
             pa_date LIKE sy-datum DEFAULT sy-datum.
SELECT-OPTIONS : so_vbeln FOR vbrk-vbeln.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK b1.
Put a selection on that criterion according to selection screen,
Fill in a internal table.
Write itab-field1, field2.
Also use ABAPDOCU a tcode where u can find many demo programmes for all topic.

How to limit the number of rows in the Custom Control box

Hi All,
In my Module pool screen I have a Custom Control box for providing some free text as input. Now, there is no limit in the number of rows allowed for this box.
But, the requirement is, it should have the maximum number of rows = 99. and each row should have maximum length = 60 characters.
User should not be allowed to enter more than 60 characters per row and more than 99 rows.
Could you please let me know how to do this..? Are there any methods available which controls the maximum number of rows and maximum length per row..?

By "Custom Control Box", do you mean a Custom Container or a Table Control?
Anyway, I suggest you to use a table control (not a custom container as your requirement seems to be very precise on that point, maybe ask your client twice to make sure). Look at the examples of table controls in ABAPDOCU transaction.
