Aborted Calls cause Default script to be invoked
Hey all,
I have started to notice an issue recently. Our default script send callers to hunt groups - via a redirect to that hunt group trigger. So if anything goes wrong in the main script it will still get routed to an agent.
However recently this has happened several more times than normal, and I tracked down some of the culprits via running queries against the hunt group triggers and then seeing that particular callers path in contactcalldetail.
It appears on each instance that the caller was sent to the hunt group trigger was directly following a call record where the caller was redirected to another trigger and the contacttype was set to 4 (Aborted). How do i go about finding why the call was aborted? From my understanding of an aborted call, this means the caller hung up during a message being played to them(and will gets set as abandoned). I can call the same trigger that the caller was being redirected to and I have no issues with the call getting aborted and sent to hunt group trigger.
This seems to have happened across 4-5 different triggers, so I'm not seeing any real pattern. Has anyone had something like this happen? Or any idea how i can go further in troubleshooting this.
EDIT: We're using UCCX 8.5 Premium
Thanks,
Kevin.
To clarify, after digging some more....The leg of the call where it is Aborted shows a destinationdn that does NOT exist in UCCX as a trigger, OR as a cti rp in Call Manager.
This scenario seems to be what is causing the script to break and go to default script invoking the hunt group call. I've searched throughout the scripts and do not see this destination DN in any variables or within code itself. What could prompt the system to try routing a caller to a non-existant route point?
I guess the next time this occurs I will collect server logs and open a TAC case.
Thanks,
Kevin.

Hi,
I'm new to both mac and LabView, so it may well be something obvious I'm missing.
I'm trying to use System Exec (http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361L-01/glang/system_exec/ with LabVIEW 2014 on Mac OS X Mavericks) to call a python script to do some image processing after taking some data and saving images via LabView.
My problem is that I cannot figure out how to point it to the correct version/install of python to use, as it seems to use the pre-installed 2.7.5 apple version no matter whether that's set to be my default or not (and hence, it can't see my SciPy, PIL etc. packages that come with my Anaconda install).
It doesn't seem to matter whether I have certain packages installed for 2.7 accessable via the terminal, the LabView System Exec command line can't seem to find them either way and throws up an error if a script is called that imports them.
I've tried changing the working directory to the relevant anaconda/bin folder, I've also tried
cd /Applications/anaconda/bin; python <file.py>
as the CL input to system exec, but it's not wanting to use anything other than the apple install. I've tried Anaconda installs with both python 2.7 and 3.4, so it doesn't seem to be down to the 3.* compatibility issues alone.
Printing the python version to a string indicator box in LV via python script gives the following:
2.7.5 (default, Mar 9 2014, 22:15:05)
[GCC 4.2.1 Compatible Apple LLVM 5.0 (clang-500.0.68)]
Whereas via the terminal, the default version is the anaconda install I'd like to use, currently
Python 3.4.1 |Anaconda 2.1.0 (x86_64)| (default, Sep 10 2014, 17:24:09)
[GCC 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5577)] on darwin
I can do which python3.4 on the sys exec CL input to get the correct /anaconda/bin location, but if I try python3.4 <file.py>, I just get a Seg fault.
I've found examples for System Exec use and instructions for calling python scripts with specific versions, but neither works with Mac (frustratingly).
I've also tried editing the Path Environment Variable, and tried getting rid of the python 2.7 install entirely, but none of these work either (the latter just causing errors all over the shop).
So, in summary
I'd just like to know how to specify the python version LabView uses and to have use of the corresponding python libraries.
Either python version (2 or 3) will do, I'd just like to be able to use my libraries which came with Anaconda which I'll be writing my scripts with (which I installed as the correct packages are only compatible with a specific python version on Mac, which is not the specific version that Xcode was compatible with, argh).
All packages work normally when using the Anaconda version with the terminal or with Spyder.
Is there a function I can use other than System Exec? What am I missing?

What exactly does that mean?
I'm not debating whether it was accidental or intentional. It certainly isn't helpful to post the same message twice.
It is helpful to point out this message is a duplicate so people don't waste their time answering this one if you are already being helped in the other one. -
Hi,
I have a shell script on the server to rename the computers and also I have a script on the local Machine to bind the computer to AD. I would like to call the binding script from renaming script(Basically I want to call it after renaming) anyone with any idea. I am sure it is very simple but I can't think of the way. I try do shell script” path of the bind script" but it didn't work.
Thank you in advance.

PowerMacG5 Mac OS X (10.4.4)Hi Ramin_Perth,
I think that the best way of doing what you want to do is to use an ssh forced command. If you search for "ssh forced command", without the quotes, you'll find quite a bit about it but my favorite reference is is the eighth chapter of O'Reilly's SSH, The Secure Shell, titled Per-Account Server Configuration.
Basically, you generate a public and private key but specify a filename with a name that reminds you of the command or script you want to execute. (the script should be in the path of the user that's going to execute it) Put the public key in the .ssh directory of that user and add the forced command to it as indicated in the above reference. In the "renaming script", invoke ssh as you would to login to the machine with the "binding script" on it as the user that will invoke the script. However, include the -i option to specify the private key file that you generated with the special name. That's all you have to do. You don't have to specify the script or command, (it will be invoked automatically) you won't have to provide a password and ssh will return when the script is done.

How to call a shell script from a java code
Hello can any one suggest me how to call a shell script from a java program that takes three parameters.
i have a shell script (msp_restore_gui) when i run this script in the command line in a RHEL5 ,SUSE10 and Debian machine it works fine .I even tested to call it from a java program and it also worked fine but when i used the same in a J2ee application where the user when clicks the restore button in a webserver this inturn sends the request to a java file named BackupManager.java where i call the shell script.But here it fails.Waiting for your suggestions.If you want i can put the code also hereyes the script is in /usr/local/mss/tools/backup and the script (msp_restore_gui) is as follows

11gR2 error: call a bounded task flow with method call as default activity
hi all,
We migrated several applications to the JDev 11g R2.
There are 2 applications that contain a bounded task flow where we define Method Call as default activity.
We need invoke specific actions before opening the page.
They run well with 11gR1.
But with *11G R2*, I can’t call directly this task flow with the following URL:
http://127.0.0.1:7101/MyAPP/faces/adf.task-flow?adf.tfId=my-flow-def&adf.tfDoc=/WEB-INF/flows/my-flow-def.xml
Message:
*<SecurityUtils><invokeURLAllowed> ADFc : impossible to call directly the task flow '/WEB-INF/flows/ my-flow-def.xml #my-flow-def' with the help of URL*
(original message: <SecurityUtils><invokeURLAllowed> ADFc : impossible d'appeler directement le flux de tâches '/WEB-INF/flows/ my-flow-def.xml #my-flow-def' à l'aide de l'URL.)
Any idea?
Thanks for you helpHi,
Have a look at the task flow properties, in PatchSet1, a new feature "invokeURLAllowed" is added that prevents bounded task flows from being URL accessible for security reasons. You can swithc this feature on and off
Frank
Ps.: I though that bounded task flows that you call from a URL generally needed to have a viewActivity as the default activity -
User defined workflow calling unix shell script
Hi
I have defined a workflow in OWB 10GR2 which calles a user defined object before calling the actual mapping.
The user defined object calls a unix shell script which sets things right in the shell before the mapping can run.
When executing the shell script from a unix shell myself it does exactly what I want
However if I call the same script from workflow it does not recognize any of the commands not even internal shell commands like ls, touch.
I've created a small test.sh script
#! /bin/bash
ls -l > listing.txt
Created a flow with a user_defined object of which property is set:
COMMAND.Value /home/oracle/test.sh
If I then deploy and start the flow get the following:
PF_WEB_00:TEST Success
/home/oracle/test.sh: line 2: ls: command not found
Anyone has any clue why this is or what I'm doing wrong?
GeertHi Lew,
Thanks for the reply.
This basically confirms what I've figured out so far.
I noticed I was able to get my script running by using absolute paths everywhere, after which my only problem was it could not resolve the TNS.
To bypass this I ended up copying all the path settings out of the .profile of my oracle user into my script after which the script ran fine.
At least now I know for sure what's causing it and that by making my scripts a bit more extensive then usual I can do what I please :)

Calling a java script function while page loads in ebiz
Hi OAF gurus,
I have a requirement of Calling a java script function at each OAF page renders or Loads.
I.e. when any OAF page loads or render in Oracle e-biz i have a java script function which needs to be called Is there any way to implement the above mentioned requirement.
Many thanks in advance..
SouravHi!
From OAF classes java doc:
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAPageBean
A class for processing and rendering HTML pages, designed to be invoked from either a JSP page or a servlet.
Allows you to:
Validate a user's session and redirect to a login page.
Set the servlet Response content type to the correct character set as defined by the ICX_CLIENT_IANA_ENCODING profile. (The character set should NOT be set in the JSP page ContentType declaration.)
Parse a HTTP Request and initialize BC4J application modules and view objects. (For HTML post, apply the content of the submitted form parameters to view objects.)
Render a HTML page header and body
It has 2 metods:
public void renderDocument()
Renders the HTML document. This is the most common API invoked by JSPs or servlets, and is used to render both the HTML header and body.
renderBody
public void renderBody()
Renders the HTML body only.
I think you can decompile this class or get the source from oracle and add your javascript code into this method.
When OA page rendered, your code would be added to avery page, i think
But it's some kind of hack or something ;-) -
Call a Shell Script from a workflow
Hi,
I need to call a shell script from a workflow. How can I do this.
If the script takes any input, How can I pass that input to the script
and call the script in the workflow.
Suggestions are needed.
Thanks,
PanduHi ,
I am executing the following java code :-
import java.io.BufferedWriter;
import java.io.IOException;
import java.io.OutputStreamWriter;
public class SetPermissions {
* @param args
public void runCmd()
System.out.println("inside runCmd()");
Runtime r = Runtime.getRuntime(); //get runtime information
try
Process Child = r.exec("/bin/sh") ; //execute command
System.out.println("child process created..");
BufferedWriter outCommand = new BufferedWriter(new OutputStreamWriter(Child.getOutputStream()));
outCommand.write("test.sh");
System.out.println("command executed..");
outCommand.flush();
Child.waitFor(); //wait for command to complete
System.exit(Child.exitValue());
catch(InterruptedException e)
{ //handle waitFor failure
System.out.println("ERROR: waitFor failure");
System.exit(10); //exit application with exit code 10
catch(IOException e)
{ //handle exec failure
System.out.println("ERROR: exec failure"+e);
System.exit(11); //exit application with exit code 11
public static void main(String[] args) {
// TODO Auto-generated method stub
SetPermissions setPer=new SetPermissions();
setPer.runCmd();
The shell script test.sh is changing the access permissions for a particular folder on Unix server. The code is not exiting , and the acces permissions on the folder are also not changing.
If I execute the shell script directly , the access permissions gets changed on the folder. Please let me know the possible cause for this. -
Call a shell script from ActiveSync form?
Hi,
I need to call a shell script from an ActiveSync form . How can I do this.
I want to execute shell script at time of account create, update, delete.
ThanksI would probably accomplish this by calling the shell script via java, and invoking the java code via xpress code in your ActiveSync form.

Hi guys,
I am developing an online ticket booking system.
i have come toa point where i need to call a perl script from JSP.
please let me know how to do it.
Basically, i need to call a function in perl script from JSP in order to encrypt my information.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Chintan ShahI haven't done this myself, but it seems like it is possible in Tomcat.
You can configure Tomcat to handle .cgi calls (it does this via a CGI servlet)
http://www.ftponline.com/javapro/2003_03/online/perl_teden_03_18_03/
http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.0-doc/cgi-howto.html
Once this is set up, theoretically you should be able to then use requestdispatcher and forward/include a cgi script to invoke the perl.
I don't know if you are using Tomcat or not though... :-) -
UCCX 9.0.2 - Agent state problems when Default script is execute
Hello,
I need some help on that problem.
I created a special script I want to use as the default script in my application. When I use this special script as the main script, everything is fine.
But when I use this special script as the "default script" in my application, desabled the main script to force my special script to be executed, I have problems with the agent's states.
--> When my agent receives the call from UCCX, he becomes in reserved state but when he answers the call, instead of going in talking state, it goes to available state. The UCCX do not further monitor the call. The only way to hang up the call is with the telephone.
Thanks,The default scripts are not meant to be used as call routing scripts. The intention is to allow you to gracefully bow out of the call, with a customized and friendly error message, versus the default Cisco message.
NoteRemember that the purpose of the default script is to gracefully terminate the call when the main script fails, not to have a fall back to provide the original services intended by the primary script. This distinction is important because using system resources to execute this default script may impair system performance. If the primary script fails too often, then you should fix the primary script rather than providing another script to attempt the same task.
Source: UCCX Getting Started with Scripts, Chapter 5 - Advanced Scripting Techniques, Section Advanced Error Handling, Subsection Using Default Scripts
Good Example
StartAccept (--Triggering Contact--)Play Prompt (--Triggering Contact--, P[whoops.wav] + DP[3000])Terminate (--Triggering Contact--)End
EDIT: August 1, 2013 - I just learned a new trick. If you need to only play a single prompt as your default script, as in the above "good example", then UCCX has a way to do this without creating a new default script, and setting it on every single application. You upload your prompt to the repository with the filename: "unrecov_error.wav". You can even have one per language! That's pretty cool!
Bad Example
StartAccept (--Triggering Contact--)...greeting......check for holidays......check business hours......deliver main menu of 7 choices......ask caller for account number......perform DB lookup on account number......check agents logged in......select resource......queue the caller for 5 minutes......route call to agent...End
I'm not saying this is why you are seeing the weird behavior, I'm just trying to inform you that you shouldn't be routing calls to Agents in your default script.

Run the jcwde once and call many APDU scripts simultaneously?
Hello everybody.I currentrly try to develop an applet and I was wondering if it is possible to run the jcwde tool just once and call many apdu scripts(.scr files).
For example let says that you create an applet which has functions(INStrunctions) such as:
1)Verify Pin
2)Create a Record
3)Read a Record and e.tc...
In one window you ran the jcwde tool and you open let say 2 windows.In the first DOS-window you call the APDU script for the verifation of the PIN and in the second window you ran the APDU script which is responsible for creating a record.(but the jcwde is ran just once)
I will really appreciate any help and asistance.
Thanks.Hello again.I used to run multiple APDU script by using the apdutool and the jcwde once.
I tied today to run the multiple APDU scripts from the DOS but I had problem.The code of the APDU scripts are :
//Code of the createNew.scr
powerup;
//Select the installer-invoke the on-card installer
//CLA INS P1 P2 Lc |--- data fields==Lc ----------|
0x00 0xA4 0x04 0x00 0x09 0xa0 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x62 0x03 0x01 0x08 0x01 0x7F;
//create Newapplet-From the file jcwde.app(AID) Le=8..PINnumber=0102030405-Declare it here
0x80 0xB8 0x00 0x00 0x13 0x0a 0xa0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x62 0x3 0x1 0xc 0x9 0x1 0x07 0x01 0x02 0x03 0x04 0x05 0x06 0x07 0x7F;
//Select Newapplet
0x00 0xA4 0x04 0x00 0x0a 0xa0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x62 0x3 0x1 0xc 0x9 0x1 0x7F;
//powerdown;
And the code of the verify script is:
//powerup;
//Verify user's PIN input
//Cla INS P1 P2 Lc |--- PIN data from the demo1.scr APDU script--
0xB1 0x10 0x00 0x00 0x07 0x01 0x02 0x03 0x04 0x05 0x06 0x07 0x7F;
powerdown;
AS you can see the powerup command included only in the first file and the powerdown command in the second file.
I executed the files from the DOS command as following:
c:\>apdutool createNew.scr verify.scr
But it returns me the message:
com.sun.javacard.apdutool.ReaderWriterError: Lexical error at line 12, column 13
. Encountered <EOF> after "//powerdown;".
com.sun.javacard.apdutool.ReaderWriterError: Card powered down. (0x15)
The first file createNew.scr is executed properly and then it displays me the above message.
I also tried to run the multiple scripts with including the powerup and powerdown commands in the both files.No result.
Have you got idea what is going on?
Thank you. -

How to call a python script from a TestStand sequence?
Please tell me how is it possible to call a python script from a TestStand sequence.
Thank for your help in advance.
ImreHere you can find some information about Python and LabVIEW:
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=124424&query.id=149647#M124424
If you have LabVIEW, you could use LabVIEW steps to call your Phyton Scipts.
Another solution would be, to do, what is decriibed in the thread directly in TestStand:
You can call a dll or .NET assemblies directly from teststand, or use the "Call Executable" TestStep.
