Access image data

Iam doing a project on remote desktop viewing.For this I need to access image data stored in the video memory.If anyone has any information regarding this please mail us.
[email protected]

Thanks,I went through the mentioned websites.Now I am able to acceess the image data.
I have already set up a client server connection, I am giving the client side image data in the form of an input file to the server.The problem is first we have to run the client and then the server.And also on server side it is displaying the previous client desktop not the current one.
If anybody has relevent information or code please mail .

  • Would you mind to implement that when websites attempts to access image data on a canvas, blank image data can be returned?

    Issue: privacy (protection)
    Additional to cookies and so on, canvas imagedata is used to discover information about computers. Then Tor Browser Bundle (TBB) - Firefox ESR 24.7.0 automatically returns blank image data and shows option to switch it of and else.
    Would be nice to have this in Standard Firefox.

  • How do I access the data saved on my time capsule?  for example, if i try to view my photos it tells me that i have 2.4gb of photos and gives me the option to "view with iPhoto"....but when i click on "view with iPhoto" nothing happens...  thanks!

    how do i access the data stored on my time capsule?  for example, if i try to view a photo, i get the option to "view with iphoto" but when i click on "view with iphoto" nothing happens.  i'm having similar trouble openning up movies, music, etc.  it appears as though the files exist / saved on the time capsule (because i can see how much storage they consume), but i can't open them.  thanks!

    Unfortunately, Apple removed the feature to "browse backups" in Time Machine backups of iPhoto a few years ago.
    You have to restore the entire iPhoto library to a separate location to be able to "see" it, and then choose the specific images that you want use.

  • W510: How to access my data from a functional hard drive after motherboard failure

    I made a mistake and paid the major price .
    That mistake being spilling a sugary drink on my laptop. I know, I know, my keyboard can and protect against damage from spills, but it was an entire glass. Anyway, I panicked and shut the system down and turned it upside down and removed the keyboard. And being the impatient person I am, I made what was probably the ultimate mistake. I didn't give everything adequate amount of time to dry and tried booting the system back up. There went my computer. Or at least I think.
    Symptoms: It started to bootup, kept beeping, then at a certain point just shut down and wouldn't turn back on.
    Anyway, I'm assuming my laptop went kaput. Now to the point of this thread. I had not undergone a recent backup and can't recall when the last backup was actually done. Assuming that my hard drive is ok, I would like to get all of my data so I saw several possible options:
    -send the system to a data recovery service where I'm not going to pay below $300, but probably 2 to 3 times that
    -buy an equivalent model laptop and put the HDD in there
    -by an external SATA hard drive enclosure and attach it via USB to another computer
    I bought an external enclosure and assembled it this evening. I had read about difficulty accessing data with a non-Lenovo system because of data encryption. I proved that out by attaching it to my work laptop (a Dell) and I couldn't access my data directories. If I have access to another Lenovo Thinkpad, will I be able to access the data if connected via USB? I'd read that I can access the hard drive contents if it is connected to another Thinkpad, but I wasn't sure if that means I have to have it interfaced via the SATA connection or if it will still work via USB.
    I'll appreciate any suggestions for accessing my data.
    Best Regards!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    I didn't have a password on the drive itself, but I did have a Windows password.
    Connecting the drive to a Dell via SATA external usb enclosure and attempting to access the data directory gives the below prompt (See image below). I understand that I could click continue and try to gain permanent access, but I haven't attemped yet because I also don't want to permanently mess something up so that I can't access.
    So this was connected to my work computer, which is a Dell. I do have access to another Thinkpad (X200 series tablet) with the same results. I'm concerned that if I do follow the steps to gain permission to the folder that the data will also be encrypted. I read at this Lenovo link http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?&LegacyDocID=MIGR-69621 about full data encryption. I don't recall ever manually setting up encryption.
    Alternatively, could I boot from the old drive using the X200?
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks again.

  • Using image data read out from a file

    Hi,
    Having used the GetBitmapFromFileEx(), GetBitmapInfoEx() to acquire the necessary image data (most of them is the .png format), then using the FileToArray() to put the image data in my own binary file, e.g., "mypicture.dat". My idea is that whenever need to use the image, I can read out it from mypicture.dat and then display it on a pcture control.  But when loading the image data to the memory, I have no idea to map the image data buffer to an image resource, which can let to acquire a bitmap ID.  Because from the  cvi's image processing function lists, it seems that must through such as  the GetBitmapFromFileEx(), GetBitmapFromFile() to acquire the image data buffer and the bitmap ID, then using SetCtrlBitmap() to diplay it. Is there any way to resolve the problem? Thanks.
    David

    Well, to read and write raw data file informations from a PNG image you must adhere to this standard. As a source of informations you may take a look to this Wikipedia page and to the links in this page from the PNG Home site.
    So the problem is: does your application worth the effort to study this documentation?
    Edit: FYI part of this job has been already made in CVI by Guillaume Dargaud for his ReadSavePNG instrument driver. It's been a long time since I have used this instrument, as I/O operations on PNG files have been integrated into CVI since release 8 and support for JPEG files in release 7 or so. Nevertheless I saw functions in that instrument for accessing raw data in a PNG file so you may find them useful for your needs.
    Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

  • Access Image Metadata in a jpeg?

    An image, like a jpeg, has a bunch of metadata stored in it.
    The "IPTC Core" metadata usually includes the photographers name,
    address, title, description, etc.
    Is there any way to access this information using Flash so
    that, say, captions for images in a flash gallery could be
    generated automatically?

    Look at the documentation for the BitmapData class. I think
    this provides you with access to the raw image data.
    Look at the documentation of the jpeg i.e. the JPEG header
    format. I think you might be able to parse out some image label
    data from raw JPEG header. This would be one way. The second way is
    to pass the name/caption of the image in the HTTP server response
    and parse it using the URLLoader object. Read documentation of
    URLLoader.

  • SQLServer to oracle migration. Issue with table having image data.

    Hi,
    I am using the SQL Developer version 1.5.0.53 Build MAIN-53.38. I am trying to migrate from sql server database to oracle. Sql server database version is 2005 and oracle database version is 10g (10.1.0.2 and 10.2.0.3). Both Oracle and Sql server databases are on windows-xp.
    Everything (including data) migrated well except for the one table having blob (oracle) and image(sqlserver). I am getting the following error in sql developer while migrating data for the blob from sql server to oracle.
    Data Move information:Rows : 497 Errors: 10278
    Commit failed: Closed Connection
    Must be logged on to server
    [POCRepository].[td].[REPOSITORY] Closed Connection

    I have created sqldeveloper.cmd file as suggested in other threads and I am using the same java provided with SQL Developer 1.5.0.53.
    The database alertsid.log shows the following error messages for this activity.
    ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [ACCESS_VIOLATION] [0x34EF9E5] [] [] [] []
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kghasp1], [0x5F3B718], [], [], [], [], [], []
    ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [ACCESS_VIOLATION] [0x34EF9E5] [] [] [] []
    The error ORA-00600[kghasp1] refers to the problem with heap memory. I also restarted the database and tried the data migration for only this table but with the same error.
    I tried it on both 10g release1 and 10g release 2.
    Can someone please help me in resolving this issue.
    Thanks
    Raghavendra

    Hi Raghavendra,
    Are you saying the Microsoft SQL Server bcp dump of image data failed? It has been tested, it results in a hex dump rather than a binary dump, hence the clob to blob, and hextoraw workaround.
    What are the version numbers and what is the reproducible test case?
    -Turloch
    Note that the clob to blob process is automated:
    Tools->preferences->Migration->Generation Options->General Options->Generate Stored Procedure for Migrate Blobs Offline
    From Help:
    Generate Stored Procedure for Migrate Blobs Offline: Causes a stored procedure named CLOBtoBLOB_sqldeveloper (with execute access granted to public) to be created if the schema contains a BLOB (binary large object); this procedure is automatically called if you perform an offline capture. If this option is not checked, you will need to use the manual workaround described in Populating the Destination Database Using the Data Files. (After the offline capture, you can delete the CLOBtoBLOB_sqldeveloper procedure or remove execute access from public.)

  • Accessing XML data from a different class

    Hi all,
    I have an xml class that loads xml data, I need to access the data from another class. I have imported the xml classinto the new class and created a new instance of it. However when I try to access the xml data it is coming back as null. I understand this is almost certainly because when it is called the xml data hasn't completed it's load. How can I get round this?
    xml class:
    package {
        import flash.xml.*;
        import flash.events.*;
        import flash.net.*
        import flash.display.*
        public class xml extends MovieClip
            public var xmlRequest:URLRequest;
            public var xmlLoader:URLLoader;
            public var xmlImages:XML;
            public function xml()
                xmlRequest = new URLRequest("images.xml");
                xmlLoader = new URLLoader(xmlRequest)
                xmlLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, xmlLoaded);
                xmlLoader.load(xmlRequest);
            private function xmlLoaded(event:Event):void
                trace(xmlLoader.data);
                xmlImages = new XML(xmlLoader.data);
    Thanks in advance

    One of the ways:
    package {
         import flash.xml.*;
        import flash.events.*;
        import flash.net.*
        import flash.display.*
        public class XMLLoader extends EventDispatcher
              public var xmlRequest:URLRequest;
              public var xmlLoader:URLLoader;
              public var xmlImages:XML;
              public function XMLLoader()
              public function loadXML(url:String):void {
                   xmlLoader = new URLLoader()
                   xmlLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, xmlLoaded);
                   xmlLoader.load(new URLRequest(url));
              private function xmlLoaded(event:Event):void
                   trace(xmlLoader.data);
                   xmlImages = new XML(xmlLoader.data);
                   dispatchEvent(event);
    Usage:
    var xmlLoader:XMLLoader = new XMLLoader();
    xmlLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, onXMLLoad);
    xmlLoader.loadXML("images.xml"):
    function onXMLLoad(e:Event):void{
         trace(xmlLoader.xmlImages);

  • Accessing IMAGE Columns in SQL Server

    I'm trying to use the TG4MSSQL to access tables in a SS2k database. All is well, except for 1 table that has an IMAGE column in it. I must say that I'm a little surprised and disappointed that the 10gR2 gateway for MSSQL apparently translates these things into LONG RAW columns, which are known to be antiquated and minimally supported. However, I still need access to the data, and ultimately, I need it in a BLOB. Doing simple queries (in TOAD) such as:
    select * from image@tg4ss where image_id = 1;
    returns the row, and I can use TOAD to determine that all the data is there. However, apparently, you cannot use PL/SQL to bind more than 32K of this data into a variable, so I haven't had much success there.
    The only way I know of converting a long raw to a blob is to use the to_lob function, but that's only good in the select list of a subquery of an insert statement. Thing is, that doesn't seem to work with the gateway. I tried something like:
    insert into my_blob_table( id, image )
    select id, to_lob(image) as image from image@tg4ss where id = 1;
    That gets me a ORA-00997: illegal use of LONG datatype.
    In fact, I can't even do this:
    insert into my_long_raw_table( id, image )
    select id, image from image@tg4ss where id = 1;
    I get the same error on that command.
    Now, I can do this, but I only get the first 32k of the image:
    begin
    for I in (select id, image from IMAGE@tg4ss)
    loop
    insert into my_long_raw_table( id, image )
    values (I.id, I.image);
    end loop;
    end;
    So, does anyone know how you can get image data out of an SQL Server database into a blob value? If so, I'd appreciate a reply. Thanks.
    -Rich.

    Hello Rich,
    I found your article after running into the same problem. I imagine you've dealt with this one way or another already but just in case...
    The reason the LONG RAW gets truncated is explained in:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14261/datatypes.htm#i43252
    Basically, LONG RAW variables are limited to 32760 bytes inside PL/SQL. The ORA-00997 error is explained a little in:
    http://www.dbaxchange.com/3_4_longdatatypes.htm
    The only solution I found to work was to create a Java utility that read in each LONG RAW value (one at a time) and then update a record in a table's BLOB column. This was even a bit tricky. I found the gateway would lock up if I tried to do too much at a time. I kept it simple my reading all column IDs into an array and then looping through the array while executing a simple select statement that retrieved the LONG RAW value. I concatenated the id to the end of the select statement because prepared statements seemed to be one of the reasons the gateway locked up. I used a ByteArrayInputStream object to populate the BLOB in an update prepared statement for each LONG RAW value processed in the loop.

  • Convert MS SQL server image data type into oracle clob

    Hi all! I'm tryng to access to Microsoft SQL server with Oracle via ODBC. Oracle is not able to use the image data type of Microsoft SQL server. Do you know a way to convert this data type in an oracle format? The explicit casting converts image to long raw, but after the conversion Oracle is not able to manage these data type. Thank you very much!

  • Passing Image data through JNI?

    Hello,
    I am trying find the fastest way to pass image data from Java through JNI. Passing Java images through JNI seems to be a very common thing to do so I expect there's an oft-used approach. Can anyone give me a good explanation of this or point me to some references?
    I need to pass the image data to a C++ function which operates on this data, writing the results to a destination buffer which goes back to Java and gets put back into an image.
    Currently, I'm using BufferedImages and getRGB to get an int array from my source image, passing this through JNI along with another int array to be used as the destination buffer, then calling setRGB with my destination buffer after the JNI function returns. getRGB() preserves the alpha channel of png files, which is functionality I need. The problem with this approach is that getRGB is extremely slow. It can take up to two seconds with a large image on my 1.2 Ghz Athlon. It seems to be performing a copy of the entire source image's data. Maybe there is a way to decode a jpg or png directly into an int array?
    -Aaron Dwyer

    Here's how you could do it for TYPE_4BYTE_ABGR
    BufferedImage img=new BufferedImage(13,10,BufferedImage.TYPE_4BYTE_ABGR);
    img.setRGB(0,0,0xff0000);
    img.setRGB(5,1,0x00ff00);
    img.setRGB(1,1,0xcafebabe);
    DataBuffer db=img.getRaster().getDataBuffer();
    int dataType=db.getDataType();
    if (dataType!=DataBuffer.TYPE_BYTE)
         throw new IllegalStateException("I can do it only for TYPE_BYTE");
    int imgType=img.getType();
    if (imgType!=BufferedImage.TYPE_4BYTE_ABGR)
         throw new IllegalStateException("I can do it only for TYPE_4BYTE_ABGR");
    DataBufferByte dbi=(DataBufferByte)db;
    byte[] array=dbi.getData();
    SampleModel model=img.getSampleModel();
    if (!(model instanceof PixelInterleavedSampleModel))
         throw new IllegalStateException("I can do it only for PixelInterleavedSampleModel");
    PixelInterleavedSampleModel pisModel=(PixelInterleavedSampleModel)model;
    if (pisModel.getPixelStride()!=4)
         throw new IllegalStateException("I can do it only for pixel stride of 4");
    if (dbi.getNumBanks()!=1)
         throw new IllegalStateException("I can do it only for 1 band");
    int scanlineBytes=pisModel.getScanlineStride();
    // Access the green Pixel on Position 5,1
    System.out.println( (int)array[5*4 + scanlineBytes] &0xff);     // Alpha
    System.out.println( (int)array[5*4+1 + scanlineBytes] &0xff);     // Red
    System.out.println( (int)array[5*4+2 + scanlineBytes] &0xff);     // Green
    System.out.println( (int)array[5*4+3 + scanlineBytes] &0xff);     // Blue     I've added some checks to make sure we're accessing the data the right way.

  • Extracting an image data merge field using only an indesign file and not document.dataMergeProperties.dataMergeFields

    Hi,
    I have kind of a weird requirement but I hope you guys can help out.
    I need to extract all the custom fields used in an indesign file without referencing the dataMergeProperties of a document. Sorry if this is a weird request it is just what I've been told (our system needs to not crash when people upload a variety of in design documents to generate high resolution jpg preview documents).
    I can already get all the text custom fields by looking for "<<" and ">>" in the text frames of a document but I'm having a really hard time finding the image custom fields.
    I tried looking at the rectangles for a given page but that didn't seem to help (but maybe i'm missing some there). I also tried looking at the graphics and images collection of a document but this seemed to return only graphics that are hard coded on the in design document and not the custom image fields.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    Uggg....
    Found the answer after I realized I was looking at the wrong SDK (5.0 instead of 6.0)
    I'm using the doc.hyperlinkPageItemSources property to get these images. It also looks like you can get the image data merge fields from DataMergeImagePlaceholder (but rememeber I couldn't access this).

    If I cancel my Adobe subscription, can I still access my data that is stored in the cloud? Just curious....and what about retrieving data from the cloud? How can that be accomplished?

    Your storage is tied to your subscription, so no, you won't be able to access your data after you quit. I'm not clear on what you are asking otherwise - you can download any content from the cloud by simply clicking on the relevant links/ preview images.

  • Feature Request: Functions to read image data, and write to tiff or jpeg.

    Functions that render image data and make it available to plugins before writing to disk would facilitate writing plugins that take rendered image data into consideration. Also, if the aforementioned image data could be subsequently written to disk possibly after a bit of modification, it would open up a whole new world for plugins.
    Plugins don't need to access the mid-rendering stages in the raw conversion / rendering pipeline, but having a shot at post-rendered, pre-written to disk image data would allow pixel manipulating export plugins to be written. A set of image file manipulation methods would be a decent work-around, providing the ability to read/write tiff/jpeg files.
    Rob

    Well, I'm replying to my own question!
    I solved the problem by reading the data from my card, then using Flatten Pixmap to create a pixmap from my data array, then using Draw Flattened Pixmap to create a picture to send to a 2D Picture.  This works fine.
    Now, how can I change the Pixmap into Image so I can save to an AVI?

    AE deson't offer any in-depth access of the format parsers. you can only ask AE to fetch you a rendered image via it's parsers. (i.e. IO and FBIO plug-ins)
    but since you can find the path to the origin file using AE's suites, you can parse it yourself. (NOT going to be easy)
