  • Accessing Java objects from C++ client

    I have a number of Java CORBA server objects that I have deployed to an 8.1.7 database.
    I can invoke these objects from a Java client with no problem, but I also need to access them from a C++ client.
    I have used idl2cpp from VisiBroker for C++ (version 4.5) to generate the client stubs, and I've downloaded the interop.tar file from http://technet.oracle.com/products/oracle8i/htdocs/jserver_faq/interop.tar
    The problem that I have is that I have not been able to build a client program because login.lib from interop.tar generates conflicts at link time. I've tried everything that I can think of, but I always end up with either missing references or multiply defined symbols. I've tried building using both MS Visual C++ and Borland C++Builder, but with no success.
    Has anybody succeeded in building a C++ client? Surely it shouldn't be this difficult?
    Thanks,
    Tony

  • Problem while Consuming Java Webservice from WCF client

    Hi,
    I am trying to Consume Java Webservice from WCF client.The webservice main functionality is digital data management.The client can Query Digital data and upload digital data by calling webservice methods.Problem is when i am trying to call webmethod from WCF client its giving "Unrecognised message versions".I have no idea about how the message objects are processed at serverside.but at server side they have used JAXP for XML document parsing.
    The response content type is Multipart/related and applicatio/XOP+XML.
    Can u plz help me how to handle this situation.I have minimum knowledge in Java WS architecture.Basically i am .Net programmer.
    Can U please guide me in a proper way to resolve the problem.

    Hi Abinash,
    I have the same problem. Have you solve that problem?
    I am using a java program to call a webservice too. And I have generated the client proxy definition for Stand alone proxy using NWDS. When I call the method of the webservice I am getting the correct result but along with the result I am getting one error and one warning message in the output.
    The java code to call the webservice is as follows.
    MIDadosPessoaisSyncService service = new MIDadosPessoaisSyncServiceImpl();
    MIDadosPessoaisSync port = service.getLogicalPort("MIDadosPessoaisSyncPort");
    port._setProperty("javax.xml.rpc.security.auth.username","xpto");
    port._setProperty("javax.xml.rpc.security.auth.password","xpto");
    String out = port.MIDadosPessoaisSync("xpto", "xpto");
    System.out.println(out);
    The result I am getting is :
    Warning ! Protocol Implementation [com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.wsdl2java.features.builtin.MessageIdProtocol] could not be loaded (NoClassDefFoundError) !
    Error Message is :com/sap/guid/GUIDGeneratorFactory
    <b>The result of the WS is correct!!!</b>
    The Java project does not have any warning. But the stand alone proxy project has following warnings associated with it.
    This method has a constructor name     MIDadosPessoaisSync.java
    The import javax.xml.rpc.holders is never used     MIDadosPessoaisSyncBindingStub.java
    The import javax.xml.rpc.encoding is never used     MIDadosPessoaisSyncBindingStub.java
    The constructor BaseRuntimeException(ResourceAccessor, String, Throwable) is deprecated     MIDadosPessoaisSyncBindingStub.java
    It is very similar with your problem, could you help me?
    Thanks

  • RE: Accessing multiple Env from single Client-PC

    Look in the "System Management Guide" under connected environments page
    72. This will allow services in your primary environment to find
    services in your connected environment. However, there is a bug
    reported on this feature which is fixed in 2F4 for the HP and H1 for all
    other servers. The following is from Forte:
    The connected environments bug that was fixed in 2F4 is #24282. The
    problem
    was in the nodemgr/name server source code and caused the following to
    occur:
    Service1 is in connected envs A and B.
    Client has env A as primary, B as secondary.
    Envmgr A dies before the client has ever made a call to Service1.
    Afer env A is gone, client makes a call to Service1 which causes Envmgr
    B to
    seg fault.
    You should upgrade your node manager/env manager nodes to 2F4. The 2F2
    development and runtime clients are fully compatible with 2F4 servers.

    Hi, All!
    Is there anybody has any idea to access multiple environments from
    single client-PC? I have to have multiple environments because each
    environment resides geographically remote node and network bandwidth,
    reliability are not good enough to include all the systems into single
    environment.
    Using Control Panel for doing this is not easy for those who are not
    familiar with Windows. The end-user tend to use just single application
    to access all necessary services.
    I could consider two option to doing this:
    1. Make some DOS batch command file to switch different environment
    like, copying back/forward between environment repositories and
    set up forte.ini for changing FORTE_NS_ADDRESS. After then, invoke
    proper client partition(ftexec).
    2. Duplicate necessary services among each environment.
    But, these two options have many drawbacks in terms of system
    management(option 1), performance(option 2) and others.
    Has anybody good idea to implement this? Any suggestion would be
    appreciated.

  • (how) can I access Java APIs from web-page-hosted JavaScript?

    Can I access Java APIs from a web-page via JavaScript if I have a JRE installed on the client machine? And if so, how?
    Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

    John L. wrote:

But they soon removed that functionality. Can you guess why?
    Because people were using the File/IO classes to easily steal or remove files on the harddrive, among other such niceties. You do NOT want to have such control from a web application. People will abuse it.

  • Accessing EJB's from CORBA clients

    Hi!
    Can someone answer one badly important question?
    Is it possible to access EJB's from CORBA clients directly, as if the

    To be perfectly honest, though, the best solution is to write a bridge,in

  • Access web service from tool area

    Hi,
    I want to edit the tool Area iView to invoke an external web services.
    I created a tool Area iView to be customized by importing “com.sap.portal.navigation.toolarea.par.bak” file from the NW2004s and create new portal project.
    I know how to edit add or remove any part from the tool area iview
    But how I can access the web service proxy? or what is the best way to implement that.

    Stumbled into a small problem:
    I have this method in my web service:
    @WebMethod(operationName = "test")
        public Integer test(@WebParam(name = "number")
        int number) {
        return number;
    }My client looks like this
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        try {
             String BODY_NAMESPACE_VALUE = /*namespace url*/;
             QName port = new QName(/*Service name*/);
             ServiceFactory factory = ServiceFactory.newInstance();
             Service service = factory.createService(new QName(/*Service name*/));
             Call call = service.createCall(port);
             call.setTargetEndpointAddress(/*WSDL location*/);
             call.setReturnType(XMLType.XSD_INT);
             call.setOperationName(new QName(BODY_NAMESPACE_VALUE, "test"));
             call.addParameter("number", XMLType.XSD_INT, ParameterMode.IN);
             Integer[] i = new Integer[1];
             i[0] = new Integer(20);
             System.out.println("test :"+call.invoke(i));
        } catch (Exception ex) {
            ex.printStackTrace();
    } I get return values ok from the web service in my java client since I tried getting a constant from the web service. However, in the case above I am trying to send 20 from the client to the web service and receive it back. However I am receiving 0. Does anyone know why sending parameters from client to web service is not working?
    Thanks and regards,

  • Problem in invoking a secure weblogic web service from javaws client

    Hi all,
    the situation is this: there is a secure web service (Wssp1.2-2007-Wss1.1-X509-Basic256.xml policy) which is accessed by a stand-alone remote web service client (swing-enabled) which is initiated via java web start. You'll probably wondering why this is a special case. Let me elaborate...
    The first step was to develop the service and the client. This wasn't much of a trouble, since the documentation was very good apart from creating a ClientBSTCredentialProvider object at the client side. The documentation should explicitly state that the sixth argument, that of the server certificate, is required! In any case, the first step was a success and the invocation was encrypted and signed at the message level.
    The second step was to create a stand-alone remote client, without any local weblogic installation. That was a bit of a problem, since wlfullclient.jar or wseeclient.jar or weblogic.jar were not enough. I should note that the client was created via netbeans 7.0 and not with the help of weblogic clientgen. So, I had to make a verbose run from netbeans, in order to enumerate the jars which are accessed and gather them into the same directory. That was OK too. The standalone client works just fine.
    The third step is to simply (not so simply...) make a java web start version of the client. Since the previous step was a success (having all necessary jars in the same directory) this one should not be a problem. Well... that turned out to be a huge issue. What I get back as the error message (shown in the java web start console) is this:
    java.lang.InternalError: error initializing kernel caused by: java.lang.AssertionError: Duplicate initialization of WorkManager

    The two invocations (one using java and the other using javaws) should obviously have not differences at all since all resources (jars) are the same.
    I have tried all client jar combinations (with wlfullclient.jar, wseeclient.jar, weblogic.jar) and the result is the same. One additional piece of information is that when removing all security parameters (message level encryption and signing) from the web service the java web start client works just fine!!!
    This is not an issue of additional jars that somehow mess with weblogic jars, since the same error occurs even in the basic hello world web service.
    I wonder if someone has faced the same problem. I would really really appreciate any help. Thank you in advance and keep up the good work.
    Cheers,
    Paul.

    Hi Kal,
    since we're currently evaluating the software and haven't acquired a license, we cannot contact support.
    I only need to know if this is a solved bug or not. Does it have to do with the classloading process (I cannot think of anything else)?
    Thank you again very very much!
    Cheers,
    Paul.

  • Getting .ServiceException while invoking a web service from a client

    I created a web service and then created a web service client from wsdl in eclipse. I am getting the following error when trying to call the web service from client.
    javax.xml.rpc.ServiceException: There is no stub implementation for the interface: examples.ejb.ejb20.basic.statelessSession.TraderBeanService

                System.out.println(response.getNumberTraded());
            } catch(Exception e) {
                e.printStackTrace();
    }How to solve the stub implementation error?
    Edited by: 901007 on 12 Aug, 2012 10:57 AM

    That did not work either. There was getPorts() and not getPort() and I used getPorts(). And I am getting the below error,
    java.lang.ClassCastException: java.util.HashMap$KeyIterator
    But when I try like the below,
        @WebServiceRef(wsdlLocation="http://localhost:7001/webservice/services/TraderBean?wsdl")
        String url = "http://localhost:7001/webservice/services/TraderBean?wsdl";
        QName qname = new QName("http://statelessSession.basic.ejb20.ejb.examples", "TraderBeanService");
                TraderBeanServiceLocator service = new TraderBeanServiceLocator();
                TraderBean port = (TraderBean) service.getPort(TraderBean.class);
                System.out.println("Invoking the sayHello operation on the port.");
                TradeResult response = port.buy("INR", 200);
                System.out.println(response.getNumberTraded());I am getting the below error,
    Invoking the sayHello operation on the port.
    AxisFault
    faultCode: {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Server.userException
    faultSubcode:
    faultString: java.lang.InstantiationException: examples.ejb.ejb20.basic.statelessSession.TraderBean
    faultActor:
    faultNode:
    faultDetail:
         {http://xml.apache.org/axis/}hostname:Gopi_Desktop
    java.lang.InstantiationException: examples.ejb.ejb20.basic.statelessSession.TraderBean
    As you can see the statement"Invoking the sayHello operation on the port." is getting printed but after that error is thrown.
    I tried changing it to, TraderBean port = (TraderBean) service.getPort(qname, TraderBeanServiceLocator.class);
    But even this is throwing the same error, java.lang.InstantiationException: examples.ejb.ejb20.basic.statelessSession.TraderBean
    I changed my webservice using Axis2 web service runtime and this time when I try to invoke using client, I am getting the following,
    [WARN] Weblogic's StAX implementation is unsupported and some Axiom features will not work as expected! Please use Woodstox instead.
    Exception in thread "Main Thread" org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: javax.xml.stream.XMLStreamException: Error at line:1 col:217 ':' Already got a ':' in name

    If you need more details, I can post the steps I did to build it...
    Any help is greately appreciated.

  • Accessing print services in the client machine(browser)

    Query: We had migrated a forms-3 form to forms-6i. The forms-3 form used a userexit to call a related Pro*C functionality that helped finally to print the report file generated during the process into the client machine's printer.
    How do we take care of this functionality in forms-6i? That is, the user should be able to do the printing from the forms screen in the browser..
    Please help..

    Thank you for replying..
    We have earlier tried the web.show_document procedure to call the .html or .txt file....But in forms-3(back-end on a UNIX server with the Pro*Cs), an ascii file was created at the server side in the client's home directory, and this file was accessed and used from the front-end machine(a UNIX terminal or a QVTTerm like application on Windows), to be printed out onto the printer device configured on the client machine...As in your reply, through web.show_document also the printing can be finally done..But the user has to wait for the new browser window to get opened and show the content and then print it...These steps were not needed in forms-3, that is, on a click of the print-related-button, it did the job...So, in the same way, can something be done on the forms-6i form(use a printer-javabean or something else), to get the functionality???
    Please help..
