Acrobat 7.0 - Lost "pages" docked on side as tab

I need some assistance figuring out how to get my "pages" tab docked back on the left hand side of Adobe. I used to be able to go to view, navigation tabs, and select pages but that would open a box. This doesn't help me as when i open another docuement the pages dialog box opens in the next docuement and I am trying to integrate pages between the two doc and that is why i would like the pages docked on the side.
Can anyone help? Anything would be much appreciated!!

Huh. That was way to easy. I should have been able to figure that out. I sure don't feel like the brightest crayon in the box.

Does Acrobat Pro 9 support "page-break-before" CSS tag? ie Pagination issues

Hey there
Converting a whole stack of html files to PDF and having some pagination issues. Titles not staying with images and tables getting chopped in half by page breaks etc.
Thought i could solve it by using carefully placed "page-break-before:always" tags where i wanted the page break. Works as expected in Safari when i go to print but not when i "File:Create PDF: From File" in Acrobat Pro. They get ignored.

This is a major hassle. I've got over 600 webpages to convert to PDF's and manually entering to force items onto the next page is getting old.
Here's some sample html, paste it into a file, save, open it in Safari and then go to print. It should print 7 pages. Open it in Acrobat Pro 9.1.0 and you get one page.

The really nice thing is this would be so useful. You can attach the tag (page-break-before:avoid) to a Caption style and always be assured that it will stay with a following graphic when you print the webpage. Or use it to make sure a table doesn't get cut in half.

Nope. Did the thing.
Cost me some serious cash. Very annoying.
I haven't tried it with Safari 5. Acrobat allowed me set page margins, something that Safari 4 didn't allow (didn't support margin css tags). But acrobat didn't support the pagination and Safari 4 did.

I'll see if Safari 5 supports the print margins css tags.
I'll prob get asked to do this again so would like to sort it out

Acrobat 8 shows in the dock but won't open

I have a new installation of Acrobat Pro, along with PS5. Computer is a mac w/snow leopard. Question is Acrobat 8 shows in the dock but won't open - says PS must be open for it to work - but PS is open(and functioning fine). So how do I get Acrobat working?

I opened an earlier version of a CS program (Illustrator 3). Acrobat seemed to find what it needed and opened. It now opens normally - even with CS3 applications closed.

IPad2: After upgrad to iOS 8, video output lost left and right side

I have a cable for my iPad2, once plugged in the bottom slot, it outputs video to TV Component port and audio to my amplifier. It's been working for years. After iOS 8 upgrade, I notice the video output lost left and right side. It's like

TS1702 Lost pages and numbers when I had to restore to factory setting. How do I get them back?

I had to update to IOS 6. In the process it crashed and I had to restore my iPad to factory settings. I've lost Pages and Numbers. They are not listed in the App Store as previously downloaded. How can I get them back without paying for them again?

After installing Safari 4, Lost my dock and can't open files.

Hey guys. I've had my Ibookg4 around 5 years, never really had a problem with until today.
I installed Safari 4, and after installation it told me to restart, which I did. After it had restarted, I got to my desktop but I had lost my dock, and I can't open any of my applework files, (the application "AppleWorks" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "-<AppleWorks><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_CarbonCore>").

Try running "Repair Permissions" from Disk Utilities.
Have you tried opening AppleWorks from the Applications folder?
If the Program opens from the Apps folder then try trashing the
com.apple.dock.plist located in /User/Library

In my footer i gave the grand total in a separate line type and condition i gave only before end of main window check box activated but in every pages i got the grand total value.

What Sowmya said is correct
check the table SFSY
and PAGENO holds current page no
FORMPAGES holds all page numbers
Check the condition like
SFYS-FORMPAGES > SFSY-PAGENO
or
SFYS-PAGENO > SFSY-FORMPAGES
any of above condition will work

Do you want to set the default page when the user logs in to the dashboard instead of Home page ?
If yes, you can do it by clicking on MY Account link and set the start page under the preferences tab to the required dashboard.

i want to print web page at client side . Page & printer settings are through coding. i tried using

i found exception invalid flavor

If you are trying to print a web page on the client side, you have to use the browser's print function which can be invoked through JavaScript. What you are trying to do can't possibly work. Even if you weren't getting an exception, it wouldn't work. Any Java code in the JSP will have no effect on what happens on the client's machine.

Pagination with 10 pages - 5 either side

Hi all,
I'm trying to get some pagination to my results page.
I would like the navigation links to only show 5 pages on either side of the current page.
For example if I have 40 pages in total:
Page 1 shows:
*1* _2_ _3_ _4_ _5_ _6_ _7_ _8_ _9_ _10_ [_Last_] Next
Page 18 shows:
[_First_] _14_ _15_ _16_ _17_ *18* _19_ _20_ _21_ _22_ _23_ [_Last_] Next
Currently I have all the page links (1-40 echoed) by using this tutorial:

If my very quick scan of the article was correct you'll need to change the loop start and end values in this part of the code:
// Now loop through the pages to create numbered links
// ex. 1 2 3 4 5 NEXT >>

if (($offset/$limit) == ($i-1)) { Change the loop bounds 1 and $pages. You'll need to do some maths to work out the current page number, and then add and subtract 5 for the start and end. Make sure not to go past the start or end of the set of pages. Good luck.

Are you saying you have lost the Develop module--which you can restore by doing a right-click on the top menu and putting a checkmark next to Develop:

just that that is one method, and lacks provision for working boot image and for an emergency - Lion gives a small minimal emergency boot environment but may lack all the utilities you need to use and run, even some drivers that your mac requires for add on PCIe.
Just grab and look through Help in Carbon Copy and SuperDuper, both excellent and each has their use - together - for cloning.
And do you have two TM backup sets? ought to consider that also, rotate daily or make a weekly set. Otherwise you are putting all your eggs in the proverbial one basket.

Here is my scenario-
I am browsing, and let's say, I'm on Google. I look up "albatross novels." I get 6 hits. I look at the list, and I pick one of them. I double-click on it, and away we go. My current Google search page is REPLACED by the selected "albatross" site. But it's not exactly what I want. So now I click the BACK ARROW to go back to the Google page, to look at the other 'albatross" hits. And now I find another site, replacing my Google page when I open it......And THAT site takes me to another site, and another, and yet another......But then I realize that the first site WAS the best one. Now I have to hit the back button 15 times and probably NOT reach the Google page from which I started.
But if I could have the new pages open in a new tab, then I could go back and forth between all the pages without worrying about the back button.
I am sure that this is just a setting change somewhere, but I can't find it....I do have it on my work computer.
