Active directory.....Need how it works with WEBSHOP(B2B)

Hi ,
Can someone throw light on how webshop(B2B) would be configured to authenticate with Active Directory.
Any pointers, even though very basic also would help us a lot.

Hello PV,
There is no direct AD support in Webshop. Reason is simple. Webshop uses JCo for connecting to CRM and uses hence its capabilities are limited to what JCo can do. Webshop has support (through JCo) for SAP Logon Tickets / SSO2 cookies. Single Sign On with SSO2 cookies is supported through JCo.
SAP Portal is generally used as the user authentication gateway and can use Active Directory as data store. It also generates SSO2 cookies for authenticated users. If [SSO has been defined and established between the Portal and the CRM backend|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm60/helpdata/en/14/252f4069702d22e10000000a1550b0/content.htm], these SSO2 cookie is enough to logon to the CRM system.
Now, if you view this from a CRM UME perspective, it is possible to have [LDAP as the data source for UME|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm60/helpdata/en/12/7678123c96814bada2c8632d825443/content.htm].

I am trying to install certificate services on a windows 2008 server (R2 ENT SP1) with a PCIe nCipher HSM module installed on it. The version of nCipher SW is = 11.30. It is a RootCA, and I am trying to use a key that is already stored in the HSM (I
have done this before with a PCI HSM (older HW version)). I select “Use existing private key” and “Select an existing private key on this computer” on the wizard, then i change the CSP to nCipher and click on "search" the key I am looking for
appears and I select that one. I repeat, I have done this before and it works with a PCI HSM module.
The installation is finished before being prompted to insert the operator cards, and it ends with two errors:

As you can see, the container called ROOTCA, which is the one that I use during the installation, says it has no stored keys. While on the old server, it says it contains a key. Why is this happening? I dont know, I am copying the complete
key management folder from one server to another and initialize the security world with that folder as I always do, and i dont have any errors during this procedure.
Do you know what could be the cause of this? or how can I fix this? Thanks a lot, best regards.

How to work with BarTender software from LV ?

Hi,
I'd like to activate Seagull's BarTender Label printing software (version 7.71) from Labview.
Basically I need to create a new label, add text and pictures/icons to it and then send it to the printer.
I noticed an Active-X option exist but I'm not sure how to work with it. I started building something like the attached file but I don't know how to continue.
Does anyone have some examples ?
(Otherwise, is it possible to use command lines ?)

What type of printer are you trying to communicate with? Depending on the printer it may be possible to communicate directly with the printer itself. You would need to define the label or labels you would like to print and insert the data on the fly in your application and then send it to the printer.
I am not familiar with the BarTender application itself so I can't give you advice on interfacing with it. However if it does have an ActiveX interface you should be able to communicate with it directly.

How to work with 360 video?

I am new to AE and am trying to work with a 360 equirectangular video I shot with a Freedom 360 and 6 go pros.
Are there any tutorials on how to work with 360 spherical videos? Do I need to download additional plugins?

Phil,
Of course, the image needs to be big for this, but the plugin you would use is CC Sphere.
Drop your movie into a composition and apply CC Sphere to the video.
Then set the Render option in the effect to "Inside".
Under Shading set Ambient to 100% and Diffuse to 0%.
Then scale inside the effect until the image fills the screen.
Then you'll be able to use the Rotate Y controls in CC Sphere to spin around inside your video!
You can also add Optics Compensation and Reverse the Lens Distortion to straighten out your image.

How to work with Premiere Pro cs5.5 and After Effects cs5 together?

I have edited my movie in premiere pro cs5.5 and made the rough cut. In premiere, i have edited the video, put in soundtrack and foley. Now, i need to add muzzle flashes & blood splatters in some scenes and final color correction using After Effects cs5.
When i import the premiere project in AE and make the changes, and then i export it back as premiere project. When i open this prmiere project, it shows vaious kind of errors and no changes are retained that i did in AE. Also, when i import the premiere project (which has 4 different sequences) in AE, all the media that has been imported in the premiere project also opens in AE making it difficult to organize the media.
How should i work now so that i add vfx and color correction using AE cs5?
I thought of exporting the video from Premiere pro and then open the video in AE and add vfx to some scenes and color correction to the full video and render it out again. But, this is the first time i am using AE and i am not sure if this is the best way. PLEASE HELP.
Or, i could import the whole project in AE, add vfx, do color correction AND then export to video from AE. But i think, it will be better if i export the video from Premiere as it has loads of options to choose from while exporting to a movie.
The dynamic link does not work between Premiere Pro Cs5.5 and After Effects cs5. Even if it does, its not working on my pc.
All the footage is in HD and i want the final result in best quality HD too. PLEASE Help!

If you are working between After Effects and Premiere Pro but with versions that are not the same number, you need to just work with movies rendered and exported as intermediate, lossless files.
Dynamic Link only works between After Effects and Premiere Pro of the same version number, and only when they are installed as part of the same suite.

Following are the steps involved in general :
1. Select the filter Worklist and enter your name in the input field of the object list selection. Press the enter key. Your object list is displayed.
2. Place your cursor on the highest node(PROJECT BY XXXXXX). Select Create project from the context menu by right-clicking on it. You see the dialog box Create project.
3. Enter a project name, description, packages, and namespaces for each system used. Leave the dialog box by pressing the enter key.
Specify transport requests. The Project is created and appears in the object list.
4. Place your cursor on the new project in the object list and select Create extension in the context menu. You see the dialog box Create extension.
5. Enter a name and description. Define a Business Object and extension type. Press the enter key.The extension is created and appears in the object list below the project.
6. Place your cursor on the new extension in the object list and select Call wizard in the context menu. The wizard for the extension action starts automatically.
7. Fill in the input fields following the notes on screen and end the wizard by clicking on Complete.The extension tasks have been created and appear in the object list.
Project and extension are created !
Also take care that you have the Transport Requests and Save the Project and Extensions against a Development Class !
In general , EEW will automatically puts the fields on the Screen. We donot want to worry abt that !
The generated BADIs can be implemented to do some Checks(for example) !

Follow the Steps,
1. Go to CMOD transaction
2. From the menu "GOTO->TEXT ENHANCEMENTS->DATA ELEMENTS-   ->NEW DE CUST DOCU".
3. In the displayed box specify the data element and
   press either "CHANGE" or " Ref to screen" button
4. CHANGE button is for defining the documentation
5. "Ref. to screen" if for assigning the screen in which
   a field has the this type data element.
   Note: You should have used this data element for a
         field in that screen.
6. Now it will ask for Function Module name, specify the
   FM name and double click it. It will go to the editor.
7. Now using the Import parameters code accordingly
8. Activate and go back
9. Now "Assign the created program ( that is FM) to the
   screen by specifying the Program name and Screen
   number.
10. Now save and activate.
Note: No need to create a separate project for creating field exit through transaction CMOD.

What is Object Orientation?

Objects
An object is a section of source code that contains data and provides services. The data forms the attributes of the object. The services are known as methods (also known as operations or functions). Thus the attributes of an object cannot be changed directly by the user, but only by the methods of the object. This guarantees the internal consistency of the object.
Classes

Object References
In a program, you identify and address objects using unique object references. Object references allow you to access the attributes and methods of an object.

Objects restrict the visibility of their resources (attributes and methods) to other users. Every object has an interface, which determines how other objects can interact with it. The implementation of the object is encapsulated, that is, invisible outside the object itself.
Polymorphism
Identical (identically-named) methods behave differently in different classes. Object-oriented programming contains constructions called interfaces. Inheritance

Uses of Object Orientation
Below are some of the advantages of object-oriented programming:
Complex software systems become easier to understand, since object-oriented structuring provides a closer representation of reality than other programming techniques.
In a well-designed object-oriented system, it should be possible to implement changes at class level, without having to make alterations at other points in the system. This reduces the overall amount of maintenance required.
Through polymorphism and inheritance, object-oriented programming allows you to reuse individual components.
In an object-oriented system, the amount of work involved in revising and maintaining the system is reduced, since many problems can be detected and corrected in the design phase.

As you are not upgrading your version but you are migrating from one BPC platform to the other, you need to follow all the rules of installing fresh SAP BPC version. Question on how networking works with new Macbook Pro

Hi,
I have a question about how networking works with my new Macbook Pro. This is my first laptop so am new to mobile computing. I am about to configure it to replace my desktop which uses a wired DSL connection. Once I have my Macbook Pro configured to run off the DSL modem, what happens when I take this computer to a location that has ethernet? Will just plugging in the ethernet cable be enough to get on line? Or is there further configuration work that needs to be done?
I used a Windows laptop from work and all I had to do was plug it in to a hotel ethernet cable to get on line. However, this laptop was never configured to run on my DSL network so I am not certain if that makes things more complicated.

Your MacBook Pro should just work when plugged into an ethernet connection.
Just check something, Open Network Preferences, you can select it from the Airport icon in the menu bar.
In the left-hand pane click on Ethernet and just check that it is set to configure using DHCP in the right-hand pane, that's it.
So when you plug in the ethernet cable it will ask the router for an IP address and off you go.
I assume that any system you plug into will use DHCP rather than static IP addresses. If it is a static IP address, you will need to manually configure the ethernet settings by inputting the IP address and subnet mask info plus DNS servers.
Usually it is done with DHCP and you don't have to do a thing and likewise your home DSL is DHCP?
If not then you will have to change your settings, make a 'Hotel' setting which you can use when in hotels and keep your 'Home' set-up for when you are at home. In the pull down menu select Edit Locations to add new ones.

my report should look like this:

i was advised by someone from this forum to use transaction fki1, but i
don't know how to work with in order to produced the desired report.
So, can anyone help me with this?
one last thing - transaction S_ALR_87012079 present accumulative credit of each
month, not every line of the vendor so i can't use it instead.

JSR 296 - How to work with arguments?

I am developing an application by using a JSR 296 Swing Application Framework but I don�t make any idea about how I could manage a line-command arguments.
Should I try through Application.getInstance().getContext().getResourceMap() or something like that?
My intention is to get access to arguments within the method startup(). However, note that they are not directly available for use unless I create a array member and explicitly assign them to this new member (I suppose it must have a suitable way for doing this instead of I mentioned):

Active Sync certificates no longer work with iOs 4.3

Existing Active Sync certificates no longer work with iOs 4.3. Can I fix this?

My results differ from yours.
With iOS 4.0x, 4.1 and 4.2x my smart playlists with live updating were broken. It would start with track 1 of 5, then 2 of 4, then 3 of 3, 4 of 2, then would generally crash the iPod app. If I left the playlist and re-entered it would have removed the entries already played, but I would find that some of the entries that should have played had actually been skipped in m playlist.
With iOS 4.3, my playlists are properly working for me again. Now they play 1 of 5, 2 of 5, 3 of 5, ... If I return to the playlist while it is playing, I see that the entries that have already played are removed, and if I leave the playlist to return later, it starts over a 1 of 2, 2 of 2...
I have posted another thread of how I have my playlists defined, so perhaps that would help you. I do recall that there were some conditions that used to cause problems if used in a smart playlist.

When oem initated a job aginst db,What are the steps preformed by OEM?What are the info updated in OEM DB and Normal DB regading jobs?And Where?

At what point do you get this message?
Have a look at the Windows Service. Ensure the EM Agent is running. Your database and Listener may be running, but if the Agent is not running, you will not be able to see correct status.
Stop and start the Agent
