Add additional Javascript code on OOTB sharepoint ribbon button.
Hello,
We have SharePoint Ent and Project Server 2010 SP-2 environment.
So the requirement is like that we have 1 OOTB "Save" ribbon button for Project Server 2010 Project Detail Pages. Which actually Saves and Publishes the project updates into Project Server database.
Here I have to execute javascript code basically to refresh the page right after user click OOTB "Save" button and Projects gets saved into database.
But here I am not getting any pointer how to add this additional Javascript code into commandaction of existing OOTB "Save" ribbon button, so that my Project gets save and publish and also I'll be able to refresh the page right after the save and
publish.
Please help me let me know how can i hook into OOTB SharePoint ribbon button actions.

Hi,
It will not easy to add actions to an OOTB ribbon button, there is a workaround that we can replace it with a custom button.

i replicated issue , and \n is not affective. So i guess what option you can try is to keep text small and use Alt to show full text.

Security flaw-To use CSOM/Javascript code for Custom Office365(Sharepoint Online) application
Hi,
I've developed custom application in Office365(Sharepoint Online) using CSOM/Javascript. Security team from client side has been reported one major issue to the our application that any end user can comment our CSOM/Javascript code and bypass the validation
or can update / insert into sharepoint list item using developer tool/ Console in Google Chrome(F12 Key).
Also end user can write his own separate code in console of Google Chrome (Developer Tool / F12) and can update / insert into Sharepoint List.
Note:- End user has Add, Edit, View permission on all Sharepoint List.
This is one major security flaw of the Sharepoint/Office365 to use CSOM /Javascript for writing code, to overcome this issue could you please provide me some solution.

I am adding SplitButton to the Media Group in the Interst Tab. However, if i supply Command="InsertImage", then the SplitButton works just fine, if i remove it the SplitButton gets disabled! The problem is that i have a forced item in the menu called "From

if you don't supply command, your button cannot be handled. you most take any command name and then define command handler for that command in CommandUIHandlers part of your customaction, or use standard commands like
InsertImage , that implemented in sharepoint.

As the title says, when I try to update my billing information the software adds additional digits to my zip code. This is all fine and dandy, it matches to where I live. But my bank only uses the standard five digits and when it adds the additional digits they will not match up correctly despite the first five being matched. This causes an endless and stupidly frustrating cycle that I cannot solve. I tried to find a phone number to call and sort this out but of course that doesn't exist. Any help would be great.

Javascript code to enable an ADD button to create duplicate tables and pages for multiple entries
I am using Adobe XI Pro. I have created a multi-page fillable pdf questionnaire that I want to make interactive to the user. Within each page, I have multiple tables that can have ADD buttons to duplicate the table if the client wants more than one test. I would like this table to insert directly below the previous table and they may be able to add upto 5 of these table.
I also have a couple pages in the questionnaire that require duplication for multiple samples. Eg. One page per sample, and I may have upto 10 samples. I would like the javascript to have an ADD button and then add each page behind the previous related sheet (Original and duplicates together)
I am not a javascript coder so I would need some examples and a walk through. I did take some developer courses in engineering but it has been almost two decades
I have search on several forums and cannot find a good resource so I appreciate the help.

TaraSome of what you want to do can be done using template features and a bit of JavaScript, but if your users will be using Reader, version 11 will be required. You can dynamically add new pages, but adding new tables to existing pages with reflow of content that comes after is not possible with a form created in Acrobat. If you have access to Adobe's LiveCycle Designer form creation software, you can create what's known as a dynamic XFA form that can do all of what you want. "Content in the embedded form field may be changed by the server to remove unsafe content. Do you want to reload you page to see the results of the save?"
When I click OK it reverts my change. How do I add custom JavaScript to the page?Try not to push your changes through SharePoint Designer (SPD).
We had severe problems with SPD saving page layouts in SharePoint, so you may use SPD to edit the page but not save it.
To save it, check it out from browser, upload and overwrite then publish it.

How do I change multiple list items at once in a SharePoint list with ribbon button

I have a sharepoint list and a ribbon button that open a dialog box with buttons to set color on a row
The problem is that i can only selecet one item at once to set the color.
How can i do so it could set all or a couple items att once to the color i want

Javascript Code Assist Delay Time
How can I increase the delay time before code assist pops up when editing javascript in a .cfm file?
Under Preferences:Coldfusion:Editor Profiles:Editor:Code Assist
there is a setting "Delay before showing Code Assist" but changing this setting does NOT alter the javascript pop up delay.
Under Preferences:HTML:Editors:JavaScript:Code Assist
there is no similar setting.
So maybe I can edit this setting in a config file or something? I'm using coldfusion builder 1.0.0.271911 on snow leopard 10.6.3

OMG please NO! Aptana is a bloated pig, and is what made CFBuilder 2 so slow.
I would suggest putting your JavaScript code in a separate file from your ColdFusion page, and using the <script> tag to load it in. If you need to pass ColdFusion variables into JavaScript, put a small <script> block on the CFML page wrapped in <cfoutput> just to create and populate the JavaScript variables, then add a second <script> tag to load your external JavaScript file.
By keeping your JavaScript separate from CFML code you achieve multiple benefits:
The built-in JavaScript parser/syntax highlighter will actually work, as those CF Builder features are somewhat dependent on recognizing the file extension to know which parser to use.
Maintenance of your application will be easier, because you don't have a mixture of CFML and JS code in the same file, and thus the files will be smaller and more targeted.
You can run your JavaScript file through "linters" to validate syntax.
You can minify your external JavaScript code files for better performance.
If you use build tools such as Grunt or Gulp, you can automate 3 and 4 without potentially breaking any CFML code in the process.
Probably additional benefits I'm not thinking of at the moment (someone will chime in I'm sure).

BP - Add additional Identification type as BPCCOD in Customer during replication
Hi All,
We have transferred all business partner from R/3 to CRM via initial load. We have Sold to party & Ship to party which are also assigned the BP role of Financial Partner and being used to create the Dispute Cases however we are unable to create the dispute cases in CRM system and also unable to search open item as Identification type BPCCOD with number as Logical system:Client is missing in the Financial Partner. As far as i know as per the SAP Standard functionality during customer download in CRM ID Type CRM002 gets added with ECC Account number by default.
So is there any way through which i can get additional ID Type BPCCOD with Number Logical system:Client assigned to Customers during replication and also if there is any standard program to achieve this functionality?

As per my understanding, you want to add additional Identification type and number while downloading the customer from ECC (Initial load).
Go to tcode BUPA_CALL_FU.
choose event CRMIN and refer BUPA_INBOUND_MAIN_CENTRAL FM as an example.
Copy the FM and create a new FM.
This FM has the changing parameter of structure BUS_EI_EXTERN.
Add the code and Modify the data CENTRAL_DATA-IDENT_NUMBER as per your requirement.
