Add attachment to workitem in the outbox

hi experts,
does anybody know if it´s possible to add an attachment to a workitem in the OUTBOX=> "workitems executed by me"?

I think you might add attachment to the Main workitem or TOP WI_ID provided it is not completed.
I think once it gets completed you are not allowed to change container element which includes addition of attachment.

I have an BO related issue. I tried to schedule a smtp event in BO to email the report output as Excel. Since this report will go to different users, I unchecked the Use the Job Server's defaults (CHECK BOX). For some reason, I can't check the Add Attachment(CHECK BOX). I received the email but without attachement. Do you know why I can't use attachment. The SMTP event works perfectly if I check Use the Job Server's defaults.

How can we add attachment in the PO using BAPI

How can we add attachment in the PO? I am using the BAPI_PO_CREATE1 function module to create the PO. I am getting a file from legacy system, this I need to add as an attachment into the particular PO through programming.
Note: After creation of PO the attachment should be available in ME23n transaction.

Disable Add Attach Button in the Interactive PDF form

Hi all,
Can you please let me know if is possible to disable the Add Attachment Button for the interactive form?
I need to show the attachment icon on the toolbar (setShowOption method from IWDPDFDocumentAppearance interface) but I need to disable the ability to add an attachment.

We are using the ISR scenarios with PDF forms. Once the approver approves the item in the inbox , It goes to the outbox. But the outbox item only has a description I want to add a url link to the PDF form how do I do that.?

If you want to display a new created document link in the email body, you can select “Encoded Absolute URL” in the workflow lookup column.

When using 3G on my ipad2, gmail won't send mail. The 2 emails i'm trying to send have 3 pictures attached and are stuck in the Outbox-checkd server under settings

Been trying to send 2 emails from Ipad2 with pictures attached from gmail. Both emails have been stuck in my Outbox and gmail continually tries to send but i keep getting a nessage that the gmail server can't be found. Went under settings, checked server and it seems fine. I don't have Wifi @home or else i'd try switching. Any ideas of what could be happenin'?

daviddavidff, we want you to be able to send and receive! If Earthlink has confirmed the outgoing server settings and you can access the email and send without issue from a labtop I would lean away from it being an issue with the account. If you can receive email then we know the device is communicating with the network.
I would try deleting the any email in the outbox folder http://bit.ly/1g1labk and then attempt to send a new email. Send the email to your own email address so we can verify success. Let us know if you can then send email.

Try unmounting the volume on your iMac using Disk Utility. Then mount it again. You may need to reboot the laptop or relaunch its Finder process (using the Force Quit window) after remounting the drive on your iMac. Remember that no process may be accessing any files on the drive you plan to unmount, or the unmount will fail. Unmounting and remounting an external drive on my iMac made it become visible on my MacBook Pro after it had disappeared.

I am not able to send Photos via email any longer. I am able to send emails but if I try to send a photo attached it just hangs there in the outbox. I have tried the various options to re-boot ?

I tried to send an attachment that is too large with a mail message. It tries and tries but will not send.
The turning gear shows up next the Sent folder but there is no Outbox folder visible. How can I diplay
the Outbox so I can delete the screwed message that is hung in the outbound queue?

Turn off your WiFi, and send an email. As it can't be sent, the Outbox will become visible and you can then add it to your Favorites by dragging the Outbox Folder to the favorite bar:

You can add attachment from the workitem. There will be an icon to add attachment. In order to view this attachment in subsequent steps you should do a binding from ATTACH_OBJECT from Wflow to Task.

How can I stop MS Outlook Mail in the outbox from being sent?

I attempted to mail an email with a large attachment file. One of the addresses was bad. When my Outlook is running, the Mac tries to send it and shows the progress. However, when I look in my Outbox the files are not there. It does show up in the Outbox progress section but I can not delete it when it is there.
Where do these files reside?
Is there a hidden Outbox??

Instead of using the wait ms.vi you could use 'tick count' at the beginning
of the loop and then have an inner loop that keeps checking the 'tick count'
until time minus time > time to wait.
You will need to figure out how to handle the case where the millisecond
timer wraps from 2^32-1 to zero. That should not be too difficult.

SharePoint 2010 Rest API: How to add attachment to a list item via ListData.svc

I have set up a project using the REST API in c# Visual Studio 2010.
I have added a service reference to the URL //site/_vti_bin/listdata.svc/
I can query the list and get back data, but I can't retrieve the attachments.
I can write data to the list, but I can't add attachments.
Are there any examples of how to add or retrieve attachments using the REST API services.

How can I add a custom attribute to the create page dialog?

I followed the following link to add a custom attribute called starred and this attaribute can be displayed in siteadmin grid
