HtmlInputText intext = new HtmlInputText();
     NumberConverter ncnv =new NumberConverter();
               ncnv.setCurrencyCode("€");
               ncnv.setGroupingUsed(true);
               ncnv.setMaxIntegerDigits(11);
               ncnv.setType("currency");

  • Get parameter from URL in Java code

    Hello everyone,
    I've got strange problem. I have one JSF page with two controls:
    - InputText
    - Button
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <f:view xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core" xmlns:af="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich">
    <af:document title="view12.jsf" id="d1">
    <af:messages id="m1"/>
    <af:form id="f1">
    <af:inputText label="Label 1" id="it98" value="#{param.test}" editable="always"/>
    <af:commandButton actionListener="#{bindings.przekierowanie.execute}" text="przekierowanie"
    disabled="#{!bindings.przekierowanie.enabled}" id="cb1"/>
    </af:form>
    </af:document>
    </f:view>
    And I want to initialize the InputText with parameter from URL (param name is test - value="#{param.test}"). In JSF page everything is fine. But after clicking button I have to read the value from InputText in Java Code, so I have URL:
    http://127.0.0.1:7101/Application6-ViewController-context-root/faces/view12.jsf?test=asd
    and my Java code which is executed after clicking button is:
    public String przekierowanie() {
    Map <String,String> map=FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequestParameterMap();
    String tttValue=map.get("test");
    System.err.println("test:" + tttValue);
         return null;
    but this doesn't work... Everytime I get null when I click the button. Could you tell me why and How to obtain this value, from InputTex in my java function?

    Hi,
    If you have a parameter in URL named as "product", you can get its value like:
    import javax.faces.context.FacesContext;
    import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest;
    FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    HttpServletRequest httpRequest =
    (HttpServletRequest)facesContext.getExternalContext().getRequest();
    String product = httpRequest.getParameter("product");

  • PackageDoc: how to add package Comments in Java code?

    There is a PackageDoc.commentText() that (should) return package comments. This would be great because i want to write package related comments. But where in the java code do i have to add this text? i tried adding javadoc over a apckage declaration:
    * Test package comment.
    package de.dlib;But PackageDoc.commentText() for this package returns nothing...

    Each package can have its own documentation comment, contained in its own "source" file, that the Javadoc tool will merge into the package summary page that it generates. You typically include in this comment any documentation that applies to the entire package.
    To create a package comment file, you must name it package.html and place it in the package directory in the source tree along with the .java files. The Javadoc tool will automatically look for this filename in this location. Notice that the filename is identical for all packages.

  • How can i add more statements in java code dynamically...

    I have a (business works) BW process in TIBCO which has many activities including java code. In java code activity I have some if statements like
    if (Country.equals("USA))
    Country code = 1
    else if(Country.equals("GERMANY))
    Country code = 49
    the above information is coming from database. now my project is deployed and running. In future, if they add more countries in database how I can include them dynamically without changing my BW process java code activity and redeploying again. Is there any solution?
    Please advice.

    You won't reconfigure the Java application without redeploying. This is one of the reasons that including data in the code is bad.
    If you created a file which contained data like this:
    Canada <tab> 1
    USA <tab> 12
    Germany <tab> 6
    Then your program could read the file into a map. The map could be used to lookup the country code based on the name.
    In the future, you could change the file to:
    Canada <tab> 1
    USA <tab> 12
    Germany <tab> 6
    France <tab> 17
    China <tab> 2
    And the program wouldn't need to be changed. You would just need to send out the new country file.

  • OpenScript/How to add .jar file to Java Code in relative path

    Hi all,
    I want to add a .jar file which can be executed separately (like "java -jar A.jar") to my recorded Java Code.I've read this wiki http://everest2.us.oracle.com/wiki/Generic_JAR_Project about how to add a .jar file to "Assets", however, I cannot figure out how to use the .jarr file in Java code,I mean , how to get this .jar file like the method the databank added in "Assets"?
    Things I did are as followed:
    1.Execute my .jar file in OpenScript Java code with absolute path like this:
    String cmd = "C:\Users\A.jar";
    Runtime.getRuntime().exec(cmd);
    This does work, but must set a absolute path in Java code like "C:\User\A.jar" ,which is not the workaround I want (I need my scripts can be run on other machines).
    2.Try to get its current path with following codes:
    File directory = new File(".");
    String currentPath=directory.getCanonicalPath();
    However,though this can get its absolute path (which is the the project path) in Eclipse like "C:\Users\Workspace\testProject", this only gets "C:\OracleATS\openScript" in OpenScript.
    I thought to copy my .jar file to the project path , got its current path in java code first,then can know the path of .jar file, but this workaround failed because of the above reason.
    I notice that in the "Assets" there are "Databanks","Object Libraries","JAR Files","Scripts". Since the databanks and scripts that added to "Databanks" and "Scripts" can be got or run in Java Code like:
    *getDatabank("DatabankName").getNextDatabankRecord(); String data = eval("{{db.DatabankName.data}}");*
    *or getScript("ScriptName").run();*
    *Is there a method to get and run the jar file added to "Assets\JAR Files" like the above?*
    Thank you very much!
    Regards,
    Angyoung

    Hi DM,
    Thanks for your reply!
    I've found a workaround,which is calling OpenScript's APIs ,such as this.getScriptPackage().getRepository() and this.getScriptPackage().getWorkspace(),etc to locate the .jar file.
    And this workaround can still work even though the script is run on other machine.
    Sorry to reply you so late!

    Angyoung

  • Problems with backing Java Code

    Earlier I manually deleted the processChange event handler method for a textfield from the backing java code. As I had no plans to use that event handler. Now my page abends with a message stating that the process chnage method is not available. I tried to add via the event handler for the textbox using the GUI but it does not add the process change event handler method. Using an another process change method as a model I manually entered the code to handle process change for the text bos. Now I am getting an internal server exception - Null in one of the parameters. PLEASE HELP. What are my options - Delete and re-create the entire page

    Hi,
    Yes I am using the recommeded code: The Text field generating the null exception is addDataSourceTF. Whenever we click on the addDataSourceBTN we get an Internal exception.
    Thanks very much for looking into this problem. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

  • Can anybody help on sending mail through Java Code

    I am trying to send the mail using the java code and I am unable to do it. My code is
    import java.io.*;
    import java.net.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.text.*;
    public class EmailExample {
    public static void main(String[] args)
    Socket smtpSocket;
    DataOutputStream os;
    BufferedReader is;
    Date dDate = new Date();
    DateFormat dFormat = DateFormat.getDateInstance(DateFormat.FULL,Locale.US);
    try
    smtpSocket = new Socket("www.gmail.com",80);
    os = new DataOutputStream(smtpSocket.getOutputStream());
    is = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(smtpSocket.getInputStream()));
    System.out.println("Hi How is this?");
    os.writeBytes("HELLO\r\n");
    // You will add the email address that the server
    // you are using know you as.
    os.writeBytes("MAIL From: <[email protected]>\r\n");
    // Who the email is going to.
    os.writeBytes("RCPT To: <[email protected]>\r\n");
    //IF you want to send a CC then you will have to add this
    //os.writeBytes("RCPT Cc: <[email protected]>\r\n");
    // Now we are ready to add the message and the
    // header of the email to be sent out.
    os.writeBytes("DATA\r\n");
    os.writeBytes("X-Mailer: Via Java\r\n");
    os.writeBytes("DATE: " + dFormat.format(dDate) + "\r\n");
    System.out.println("DATE: " + dFormat.format(dDate) + "\r\n");
    os.writeBytes("From: Me <[email protected]>\r\n");
    os.writeBytes("To: YOU <[email protected]>\r\n");
    //Again if you want to send a CC then add this.
    //os.writeBytes("Cc: CCDUDE <[email protected]>\r\n");
    //Here you can now add a BCC to the message as well
    //os.writeBytes("RCPT Bcc: BCCDude<[email protected]>\r\n");
    String sMessage = "Your subjectline here";
    os.writeBytes("Subject: Your subjectline here\r\n");
    os.writeBytes(sMessage + "\r\n");
    os.writeBytes("\r\n.\r\n");
    os.writeBytes("QUIT\r\n");
    // Now send the email off and check the server reply.
    // Was an OK is reached you are complete.
    String responseline;
    while((responseline = is.readLine())!=null)
    {   System.out.println(responseline);
    if(responseline.indexOf("Ok") != -1)
    break;
    } catch (IOException e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    It is compiling and runnung properly. Please Help me on this.
    Thanks.
    Satya.

    You're mishandling the responses. You terminate if you don't get an "Ok" string, but that's not how success is defined - you should get a 200 code back, typically with an "OK" (not caps) message.
    It doesn't help that you're ignoring all of the server output after each command, so you never find out if anything goes wrong.
    You're also reinventing a wheel. The JavaMail API exists for this: http://java.sun.com/products/javamail/

    Hi all

And to upload that data JAVA code is written which will create an IDOC FILE this authorization is only give to 2-3 person in organization and to basis guy also as user changed it’s password in SAP and in JAVA the java code is not going to create the IDOC file and data is not going to upload. after changing user password in sap system ,user not able to upload the data.
    ISU_MR_UPLOAD01 is the idoc file generated. So is there any authorization issue, password issue how to see and view IDOC IN SAP, can any one help me out into this.

    Same exception on the same line has been reported and marked as solved here :
    IDOC_ERROR_METADATA_UNAVAILABLE:
    Btw, I think this forum is not visited often by JCO and ABAP connectivity experts, so maybe you could get a faster response to your problems while posting in "Java Programming" or maybe in some forum under the category ABAP Development.

  • How to modify an existing xml file from java code.

    Hi
    I have worked on creating a new xml file from java code using xmlbeans.But if i try to modify an already existing file using java code I am unable to get errorfree xmlfile.
    For example if xml file(studlist.xml) is as below:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <StudentList xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="D:\kchaitanya\xmlprac1\abc\Studlist.xsd">
         <Student>
              <Name>ram</Name>
              <Age>27</Age>
         </Student>
    <Student>
              <Name>sham</Name>
              <Age>26</Age>
         </Student>
    </StudentList>
    Now suppose i have set name to victor using student.setName,
    and set age to 20 using setAge from javacode,
    the new xml file is as follows:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <StudentList xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="D:\kchaitanya\xmlprac1\abc\Studlist.xsd">
         <Student>
              <Name>ram</Name>
              <Age>27</Age>
         </Student>
    <Student>
              <Name>sham</Name>
              <Age>26</Age>
         </Student>
    </StudentList>
    <Student>
              <Name>victor</Name>
              <Age>20</Age>
         </Student>
    As observed this is not a valid xml file.But how can i modify without any errors?

    I know it's an old post, but I found this while doing a google search for something else, and don't like to leave it un-aswered
    Just in case anyone has a similar problem... In this case the new elements have been appended outside of the root element
    What you need to do is first get the root element and then append the new children to that, there are several ways of getting the root element, which depend on what you want to do with the elements you get back here's a simple (incomplete) way.
    // gets the root element of the specified file (code not shown)
    Element rootElement= new SAXReader().read(file).getRootElement();Then just append the new elements as below (this is non-generic code and would need to be modified for your situation)
    // write a new student element
    Element student = document.createElement("Student");  // creates the new student
    rootElement.appendChild(student); // ***appends it to the root element***
    Element name = document.createElement("Name"); // creates the name element
    name.appendChild(document.createTextNode("Fred")); // adds the name text to the name element
    student.appendChild(name); // appends the name to the student
    Element age= document.createElement("Age"); // creates the age element
    age.appendChild(document.createTextNode("26")); // adds the age text to the age element
    student.appendChild(age); // appends the name to the studentThen flush ya buffers or whatever and write the file

    Ok, first of all thanks for your answer, now what I want to do is the following:
    1) I need to input ((retrieve) every minute some data (Date and Temperature), that I will get from and external device, this is not part of this code.
    2) I want to store that data (Date and Temp) on a data base, here where I need the command to create the data base and to verify whether that data base already exists. In case it has already been created then create new table(s) on it. If it doesn't exist then create and then create new tables.
    3) Each Day (at yyyy mm dd 00:00:00:000 will create a new table, and the name of this table will be yyyymmdd.
    4) Then every minute the java code will retrieve the data and add it to the table in the data base.
    5) That will be a close loop that will be running until the user interrupt it.
    I haven't make the communication code yet, in order to test my code I was thinking to retrieve the data from another data base. This would be just to verify that the JAVA sequence is able to retrieve the data every minute and create new data base and tables.
    For the record I am able to send the queries and retrieve information from SQL running the code in eclipse, that will cover your first observation.
    I am quite new in the forum I am sorry I didn't get the use of code tags.
    Sorry again as I said I am quite new on this, what's a DDL statement.
    Thanks.

  • How to display pdf file with java code?

    Hi All,
    i have a jsp pagein that page if i click one icon then my backing bean method will call and that method will create pdf document and write some the content in that file and now i want to display that generated pdf document.
    it should look like you have pressed one icon and it displayed pdf file to you to view.
    java code below:
    FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    ExternalContext ec = fc.getExternalContext();
    HttpServletResponse resp = (HttpServletResponse) ec.getResponse();
    resp.setHeader("Content-Disposition", "filename=\"" + temppdfFile);
    resp.encodeRedirectURL(temppdfFile.getAbsolutePath());
    resp.setContentType("application/pdf");
    ServletOutputStream out = resp.getOutputStream();
    ServletUtils.returnFile(temppdfFile, out);
    out.flush();
    and above temppdfFile is my generated pdf file.
    when i am executing this code, it was opening dialog box for save and cancel for the file, but the name of the file it was showing me the "jsp file name" with no file extention (in wich jsp file i am calling my backing bean method) and type is "Unknown File type" and from is "local host"
    it was not showing me open option so i am saving that file then that file saved as a pdffile with tha name of my jsp file and there is nothing in that file(i.e. empty file).
    what is the solution for this. there is any wrong in my code.
    Please suggest me.
    Thanks in advance
    Indira

    This is my action method which will call when ever i press a button in my jsp page.
    This method will create the barcode for the given barcode number and write that barcode image in pdf file
    (i saw that pdf file which i have created through my above method, This PDF file opening when i was opening manually and the data init that is also correct means successfully it writes the mage of that barcode)
    This method taking the jsp file to open because as earlier i said it was trying to open unknown file type document and i saved that file and opended with editplus and that was the jsp file in which file i am calling my action method I mean to say it was not taking the pdf file which i have created above it was taking the jsp file

  • [UCCx] Change volume of an audio file (java code)

    Hello guys,
    Thanks to the many examples I compiled on the subject, I was able to create a script that mixes 2 audio wav files into a 3rd one. Basically the goal is to mix a first audio file containing some speech with a second one containing some music, these files being encoded identically (8 bits, 8KHz, mono wav files). The resulting file must be encoded in the same format than the initial ones.
    The mixing operation is performed thanks to the MixingAudioInputStream library found online (it can be found here).
    It is not the most beautiful Java code (I am no developer), but it works:
    Document doc1 = (Document) promptFlux1;
    Document doc2 = (Document) promptFlux2;
    Document docFinal = (Document) promptFinal;
    javax.sound.sampled.AudioFormat formatAudio = null;
    java.util.List audioInputStreamList = new java.util.ArrayList();
    javax.sound.sampled.AudioInputStream ais1 = null;
    javax.sound.sampled.AudioInputStream ais2 = null;
    javax.sound.sampled.AudioInputStream aisTemp = null;
    javax.sound.sampled.AudioFileFormat formatFichierAudio = javax.sound.sampled.AudioSystem.getAudioFileFormat(new java.io.BufferedInputStream(doc1.getInputStream()));
    java.io.File fichierTemp = java.io.File.createTempFile("wav", "tmp");
    ais1 = javax.sound.sampled.AudioSystem.getAudioInputStream(doc1.getInputStream());
    formatAudio = ais1.getFormat();
    aisTemp = javax.sound.sampled.AudioSystem.getAudioInputStream(doc2.getInputStream());
    byte[] bufferTemp = new byte[(int)ais1.getFrameLength()];
    int nbOctetsLus = aisTemp.read(bufferTemp, 0, bufferTemp.length);
    java.io.ByteArrayInputStream baisTemp = new java.io.ByteArrayInputStream(bufferTemp);
    ais2 = new javax.sound.sampled.AudioInputStream(baisTemp, formatAudio, bufferTemp.length/formatAudio.getFrameSize());
    audioInputStreamList.add(ais1);
    audioInputStreamList.add(ais2);
    MixingAudioInputStream mixer = new MixingAudioInputStream(formatAudio, audioInputStreamList);
    javax.sound.sampled.AudioSystem.write(mixer, formatFichierAudio.getType(), fichierTemp);
    return fichierTemp;
    The only downside to this is that the music can be a little loud comparing to the speech. So I am now trying to use the AmplitudeAudioInputStream library to adjust the volume of the second file (it can be found here).
    Here are the additional lines I wrote to do this:
    ais2 = new javax.sound.sampled.AudioInputStream(baisTemp, formatAudio, bufferTemp.length/formatAudio.getFrameSize());
    org.tritonus.dsp.ais.AmplitudeAudioInputStream amplifiedAudioInputStream = new org.tritonus.dsp.ais.AmplitudeAudioInputStream(ais2, formatAudio);
    amplifiedAudioInputStream.setAmplitudeLinear(0.2F);
    audioInputStreamList.add(ais1);
    audioInputStreamList.add(amplifiedAudioInputStream);
    MixingAudioInputStream mixer = new MixingAudioInputStream(formatAudio, audioInputStreamList);
    javax.sound.sampled.AudioSystem.write(mixer, formatFichierAudio.getType(), fichierTemp);
    return fichierTemp;
    The problem is I always get the following exception when executing the code:
    could not write audio file: file type not supported: WAVE; nested exception is: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: could not write audio file: file type not supported: WAVE (line 30, col:2)
    The error is on the last line (the write method), but after many hours of tests and research I cannot understand why this is not working... so I have added some "debugging" information to the code:
    System.out.println("file1 audio file format: " + formatFichierAudio.toString());
    System.out.println("file1 file format: " + ais1.getFormat().toString());
    System.out.println("file2 file format: " + ais2.getFormat().toString());
    System.out.println("AIS with modified volume file format: " + amplifiedAudioInputStream.getFormat().toString());
    System.out.println("Mixed AIS (final) file format: " + mixer.getFormat().toString());
    AudioFileFormat.Type[] typesDeFichiers = AudioSystem.getAudioFileTypes(mixer);
    for (int i = 0; i < typesDeFichiers.length ; i++) {
    System.out.println("Mixed AIS (final) #" + i + " supported file format: " + typesDeFichiers[i].toString());
    System.out.println("Is WAVE format supported by Mixed AIS (final): " + AudioSystem.isFileTypeSupported(AudioFileFormat.Type.WAVE, mixer));
    System.out.println("Destination file format: " + (AudioSystem.getAudioFileFormat((java.io.File)f)).toString());
    AudioInputStream aisFinal = AudioSystem.getAudioInputStream(f);
    System.out.println("Is WAVE format supported by destination file: " + AudioSystem.isFileTypeSupported(AudioFileFormat.Type.WAVE, aisFinal));
    try {
    // Ecriture du flux résultant dans un fichier
    javax.sound.sampled.AudioSystem.write(mixer, formatFichierAudio.getType(), fichierTemp);
    return fichierTemp;
    catch (Exception e) {
    System.err.println("Caught Exception: " + e.getMessage());
    Which gives the following result during execution:
    file1 audio file format: WAVE (.wav) file, byte length: 146964, data format: ULAW 8000.0 Hz, 8 bit, mono, 1 bytes/frame, , frame length: 146906
    file1 file format: ULAW 8000.0 Hz, 8 bit, mono, 1 bytes/frame,
    file2 file format: ULAW 8000.0 Hz, 8 bit, mono, 1 bytes/frame,
    AIS with modified volume file format: ULAW 8000.0 Hz, 8 bit, mono, 1 bytes/frame,
    Mixed AIS (final) file format: ULAW 8000.0 Hz, 8 bit, mono, 1 bytes/frame,
    Mixed AIS (final) #1 supported file format: WAVE
    Mixed AIS (final) #2 supported file format: AU
    Mixed AIS (final) #3 supported file format: AIFF
    Is WAVE format supported by Mixed AIS (final): true
    Destination file format: WAVE (.wav) file, byte length: 146952, data format: ULAW 8000.0 Hz, 8 bit, mono, 1 bytes/frame, , frame length: 146906
    Is WAVE format supported by destination file: true
    So everything tends to show that the format should be supported and the mixed AIS should be written to the file... but I still get the error.
    I am really confused here, if someone could help it would be great.
    Thanks in advance!
    PS: I have attached print screens of the actual script, without the "volume adjustment" code.

    Hi,
    well I started writing a similar solution but it did not work either so I just put it on hold.
    I also tried to get hold of the streaming "device" abstraction of UCCX to adjust the volume while "playing" but that was a dead end, too, unfortunately.
    Sorry about my previous comment on your StackOverflow post, that time I thought it was kind of out of context but I believe you only wanted to ask about this issue on all available forums.
