Add Transition to Grid control when it is made Visible.

Hi. I have a collapsed Grid and when I tap a HyperLinkButton I want the Grid to start getting visible from the closest point from the Button or any other transition effect similar to this. To simplify my question, how do I add a transition effect to a
Grid when it is made visible?

Hi Clint William Theron,
For adding the transition to the Grid control in Windows Phone, first please try to check the following articles:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/xaml/hh452703.aspx .
If you want to create a custom transition for the Grid control, please try to use the
Storyboard class to help you implement it, for more information please try to refer to:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/jj206955(v=vs.105).aspx .

    I want to put this condition

  • Which method of JTextPane will be called when it is made visible

    HI,
    Can you please point to some method to override to perform an operation when a JTextPane in panel is shown when ever we swap between tabbed panes.so when i switch to some other tabbed pane and come back to this tabbed where my JTextPane exists so that i can apply some style attributes to data in the JTextPane.
    Regards,
    Sridhar.

    Any easier answer might be to listen for tab changes and use those to apply style attributes.

  • Trouble with 10g after Installing Grid Control

    Main problem: after installing Grid Control and rebooting, I can no longer access my databases.
    I have 10g installed on a fairly decent Windows XP machine. It was running okay, but I had two Oracle database instance processes running at 200mb of RAM each (of a total of 1 GB of RAM), so it was a bit bogged down, as is to be expected when running Oracle as a server on Windows.
    I then installed Grid Control, which seemed to go okay, and another database as well. But once the install completed, and I gained access to the Grid Control version of the OEM for the first time, that's when things got wacky. Connecting to any OEM instance started taking anywhere from 2-10 minutes, everything was bogged down considerably, etc. I tried shutting everything down and rebooting, but now things are worse. OEM is timing out and not finding servers, listener is timing out, etc. I've tried manipulating a few things in Net Manager (I noticed that my LISTENER section didn't seem to contain any data at all, and my databases weren't listed in there either) with no result.
    I've also had trouble with "host credentials" and being able to administer the databases within the OEM, even after implementing a fix I had found to add my user name to a "log on as batch job" local security policy.
    Finally, I noticed that after installing Grid Control, when I run "sqlplus", I now see "Oracle91 Enterprise Edition" instead of the "Oracle10g" it used to show (and I never had anything but 10g installed on this machine!).
    Here's what happens when I try to access my dBs:
    -When I try to launch the OEM connected to any of the 3 databases I created (which were previsouly running), the browser just times out with "page cannot be displayed".
    -When I run "emctl start <ANYTHING>" I get file/path not found errors, and a file path with both forward and backward slashes (starting after the "agent" directory):
    C:\oracle\product\10.1.0\agent/<...etc.>
    -When I try to test a connection to a service in Net Manager, I get this error:
    ORA-12557: TNS:protocol adapter not loadable
    I had to manually add my listener info and databases info(under Service Naming) in Net Manager, but everything appeared fine in Oracle Directory Manager (unfortunately, that doesn't help much, since this is just a general info tool).
    I am nothing near a DBA and my knowledge is limited, so I apologize for not being more consise, but I'd be glad to elaborate if someone could tell me what they need to know.
    Thank you,
    John

    Yes; thank you both. Although I had 1 GB physical and 1.5 GB virtual memory configured, running Grid Control seemed to completely kill all available resources.
    I have removed GC and its related database and applications, and I can again conncet to my databases via Database Control. Thank you.
    By the way, another issue has arisen, seemingly in the aftermath of installing GC: my OEM Database Control instances now time out after about 60 seconds, logging me out each and every time. I have cookies enabled, but this doesn't seem to be the trouble. Is there a Web setting somewhere that will kick users out of the instance at timed intervals?

    You may want to change the QueryCondition for the RowSetInfo, so that all records matching the criteria is displayed.

  • Grid Control performance tab not available when on the target home of ASM

    I noticed recently that the "Performance" tab/link is not available when you are using 10g Grid Control and you are on the home page of an ASM instance. Can this be explained?

    Hi MarGur
    I try to help you. The OEM Grid Control in some times not discover the Oracle 9i databases and you must to add manually.
    First, check in your target machine that the user owner of agent software have rights of read and write in the ORACLE_HOME directories of Oracle 9i databases.
    Go to Grid Control Console
    Select Targets ---> Databases
    Press Add --> Select the host ebisdb2.oneshield.com and press continue
    The automatic discover process begin. When finished is very normal that nor discover the Oracle 9i databases. You press the Add manually button
    in the page that appear you must entry all the configuration information of database:
    ORACLE_HOME directory
    DBSNMP USER
    DBSNMP PASSWORD
    HOSTNAME
    PORT
    SID
    Check that the dbsnmp user in your database is unlock and press the TEST button to verify the connection work fine.
    After this many windows appear of configuration process, and you will put the sys password and host credentials.
    If you have problems, tell me

  • How to add new host to 11g grid control

    I have install silently oem agent 11g in a solaris system. The installation was successful and agent is up and running.
    But the thing is I can't add this client and its database in my OEM Grid Control interface. When I try to add the target it shows the bellow error
    Information
    You cannot add a host target from Enterprise Manager Grid Control.
    To add a host target, install the Oracle Management Agent on the host computer you want to manage. When the Management Agent begins communicating with the Oracle Management Service, the Management Agent target and the Host target will appear in the list of targets.
    My Question is how i can the target's agent can communicate with OMS agent? and How this target can be incorporated?

    Hi,
    the host and agent targets should show up right after installation of the agent, if securing was successful. I assume the error happened somewhere there.
    Can you please paste the output of following command:
    $ORACLE_HOME/bin/emctl status agent
    where ORACLE_HOME is set to your newly installed agent?
    Also, please check if you see any errors in $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/log/emagent.log and emagent.trc about communication between the agent and your OMS.
    Best regards,
    Robert

  • Which? - License for OEM Grid Control or just the additional Packs and Add-Ins?

    I took a look at the price list and I wanted to clarify the "Named User Plus". The Diagnostic and Tuning Packs are each shown as $100 for the named user. As a DBA, if I have a named user license for these two management packs, does this mean that I can manage as many databases as needed with these two management packs?

    Wow, 25 separate dbcontrols sound like a nightmare.
    By the way, our Oracle rep just happened to come here yesterday, and he validated what was said here.
    You can install the Grid Control free; you simply un-check the Packs/Add-Ins during the install.
    As I understand it, you would install the Grid Control Agent first on each server, then when you install Oracle RDBMS, the Universal Installer will detect the Agent and enable the Grid Control instead of the Database Control.
    Then you install the OEM Grid Control repository and software on a separate server, and that is where you manage all of the Oracle RDBMS servers from.
    He also said to use the highest version Grid Control Agents on the database servers and repository server and keep the versions of that software in sync, which is separate from the Oracle RDBMS version.

  • License for OEM Grid Control or just the additional Packs and Add-Ins?

    I have searched the forums and found the link below in a discussion about the Enterprise Manager Grid Control, but nobody answered this question specifically:
    Can you freely install and use the Grid Control (with no additional Packs or Add-Ins)? Or does the Grid Control itself require a license?
    P.S. The price list linked here only displays prices for Grid Control Packs and Add-Ins:

  • How to add check box in SAP B1 grid controls..

    hi all,
    Anyone know how to add check box in SAP grid control?
    It will be great if you could show me some sample code.
    thanks.
    regards,
    sohch

    Hi Sohch,
    1. First of all you should define the Column in a matrix as it_CHECK_BOX. Like
            oColumns = oMatrix.Columns
            oColumn = oColumns.Add("chk_YesNo", SAPbouiCOM.BoFormItemTypes.it_CHECK_BOX)
            oColumn.TitleObject.Caption = "YesNo"
            oColumn.Width = 60
            oColumn.Editable = True
    2. Bind it with a DBDataSource as defined
            oColumn = oColumns.Item("chk_YesNo")
            oColumn.DataBind.Bind("UDTable", "U_YesNo")
    3. Make Sure that the value that is being put into the Database is either 'Y' or 'N'.
    Hope this Helps

  • Can Grid Control 10gR2 create a standby database when primary db uses ASM?

    Does anyone know if Grid Control 10gR2 will be able to create a standby database when the primary database uses ASM for data files, redo log files, and archive log files but the standby database will use mounted disks? If it can, would it matter that the primary db will be a RAC cluster and the standby will be a single instance db?

    I appreciate your reply and hope you are correct. Have you had a look at the 10gR2 Grid Control to confirm this or are you only going on published statements? The reason I ask is because previous versions of Grid Control claimed to support ASM but they would only allow you to work with them AFTER you had created a standby database manually but you couldn't actually use Grid Control to create a standby database from a primary database that had its log files on ASM disks.

  • Error when trying to install OEM Grid Control 10.2.0.2 win32

    Hi
    I'm trying to install Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control release 2 for windows server 2003 32 bits, but the installation could not be completed.
    I got the following error when OMS Configuration step is running.
    SEVERE: OUI-25031:Some of the configuration assistants failed. It is strongly recommended that you retry the configuration assistants at this time. Not successfully running any "Recommended" assistants means your system will not be correctly configured.
    1. Check the Details panel on the Configuration Assistant Screen to see the errors resulting in the failures.
    2. Fix the errors causing these failures.
    3. Select the failed assistants and click the 'Retry' button to retry them.
    The "C:\OracleHomes1\agent10g\cfgtoollogs\configToolFailedCommands" script contains all commands that failed, were skipped or were cancelled. This file may be used to run these configuration assistants outside of OUI. Note that you may have to update this script with passwords (if any) before executing the same
    When I look into the configToolFailedCommands log file, the are any more information regard the issue.
    Best Regards
    ARmando

    My server that was running that version had crashed, so I'm trying to install it again.
    I have EBS 12.0 and 10g DB that I usually monitored with Grid Control.
    What version do you recommend me?

  • Can we add page numbers to ALV Grid Control.

    Hi All,
    1.My requirement is to display page numbers when we down load the list in to EXCEL.
    Can we do this in ALV Grid Control.
    2.Can we display the page numbers in the SAP Query,when we down load the out put list in to the EXCEL.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Seshadri G

    Hi Seshadri,
    No, it is not possible to print the page number when you download the list to EXCEL. Because in ALV grid the report output is display as table contorl and this data can not be divided into page when you download to EXCEL.
