Add Value to userfield of system table

Hi.
How can I Add Value to userfield of system table?
Regards,
Jose

Jose,
you have to use the official object for this.
for example.
when you want to add a value to a userfield in a document you use:
oDoc.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_FIELD").Value
the best is to look in the SDK help if the Table has an Object and a UserFields property.
EDIT:
or do you need something else ?

  • Add userfields to system table error!

    hi,when I add userfields to system table such as "PDN1",it's fail.Code like bellow:
      ufmd = (UserFieldsMD)diCompany.GetBusinessObject(BoObjectTypes.oUserFields) ;
      ufmd.Name = "field1" ;
      ufmd.TableName = "PDN1" ;
      ufmd.Description = "descr" ;
      ufmd.Type = ....;
      ufmd.Add() ;
      When I assgin TableName "PDN1" to ufmd.TableName,the result is :ufmd.TableName = "@PDN1".SO when add userfield to the table,the error occur:the table "@PDN1" not exist.
      When I add user fields in user table using the same code ,it's ok .
      Anybody can tell me,how to add user fields to system table? thk!

    Code below works for me (V2005A P5)
        Set sboUserFieldsMD = sboCompany.GetBusinessObject(oUserFields)
        sboUserFieldsMD.TableName = "PDN1"
        sboUserFieldsMD.Name = "AZU_TEST"
        sboUserFieldsMD.Description = "Test"
        sboUserFieldsMD.Type = db_Alpha
        sboUserFieldsMD.EditSize = 10
        lngRetCode = sboUserFieldsMD.Add
    If you are getting problems with "PDN1", try replacing it with any of "ADO1", "RDR1", "DLN1", "INV1" - adding a field to any of them has the same effect as they are all marketing document lines.

  • Add values to userfields problem

    Hello all,
    I use SBO 2004 and a try add values to fields in user table. I have a few questions:
    - when I create table and fields I use UserTableMD and UserFieldMD. I create numeric fields with editable = 10. When I see on this table and this field in Enterprise Manager this field is int type. I don't know what's up.
    oUserFieldsMD.TableName = "@wbank"
    oUserFieldsMD.Name = "saldo"
    oUserFieldsMD.Description = "Saldo konta"
    oUserFieldsMD.Type = SAPbobsCOM.BoFieldTypes.db_Numeric
    oUserFieldsMD.EditSize = 10
    lRetCode = oUserFieldsMD.Add
            If lRetCode <> 0 Then
                oCompany.GetLastError(lErrCode, sErrMsg)
                MsgBox(sErrMsg)
            Else
                MsgBox("Field: '" & oUserFieldsMD.Name & "' was added successfuly to " & oUserFieldsMD.TableName & " Table")
            End If
    - next when I try add value to field appear error:
    Inwrite KontoStr is OK, but if I will inwrite saldo_poczatkowe appear error:      "The entered value does not match the specified field type."
    saldo_poczatkowe is double type. On start I read editbox value, change "." to "," and cast it to double and inwrite in saldo_poczatkowe.
    SaldoStr = SaldoKonta.Value
    SaldoStr = CleanOutput(SaldoStr)
    saldo_poczatkowe = Val(SaldoStr)
    Try inwrite:
    oUserTable.Code = 1
    oUserTable.Name = "wyciag"
    oUserTable.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_konto").Value = KontoStr
    oUserTable.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_saldo").Value = saldo_poczatkowe I try inwrite values in all fields )
    oUserTable.UserFields.Fields.Item
                '// add the data to the Data base
                oUserTable.Add()
                '// Check for errors
                oCompany.GetLastError(lErrCode, sErrMsg)
                If lErrCode <> 0 Then
                    MsgBox(sErrMsg)
                Else
                    MsgBox("Record saved in DB successfuly")
                End If
                oUserTable = Nothing
                System.GC.Collect()
    Mayby I do error in code? Thanks for help

  • On a UDF (on a system table) add a CFL (linked to a system table)

    Hello,
    I added a UDF to OITM, named say "XXX_RootOfPrj". It appears on the standard UDFs panel:
    Users should type a project code (OPRJ.PrjCode) here.
    For helping them I need to add a ChooseFromList on this UDF, linked to OPRJ.
    So I added this line in the UDF definition:
    oUserFieldsMD.LinkedTable = "OPRJ";
    But when I Add() the UDF I get:
    Errore -5002: Il campo 'Tabella collegata' dovrebbe essere formato da 8 car. alfanumerici senza val. standard validi
    Which means more or less:
    Error -5002: 'Linked table' field should be formed by 8 alphanumeric characters without standard valid values
    Maybe is it impossible what I want to do? It's odd that I can link a UDT but not a system table...
    Maybe should I use a workaround, like manually attaching a CFL on the form using UI API?

    Thanks Edy,
    now I got it!
    Create a query for the formatted search, like this:
    select PrjCode, PrjName
    from OPRJ
    Add this user query to B1 as a saved query
    Open Item Master Data, select your UDF, press Alt + Shift + F2
    In the dialog select "Search in Existing User-Defined Values according to Saved Query", click on "Open Saved Query", select the saved query above and you are done.
    Now the user can pick a valid project code from a CFL.
    Kind regards

  • Add field value to the existing internal table.

    how to add a field value to the existing internal table.
    DATA: BEGIN OF ITAB occurs 0,
                 EBELN TYPE EKPO-EBELN,
                 EBELP TYPE EKPO-EBELP,
                 AEDAT TYPE EKPO-AEDAT,
                 amount(10) type c,
               END OF ITAB.
    select * from ekpo
           into corresponding fields of table itab.
    itab-amount = '2400'.
    loop at itab where ebeln eq 70 .
           write : / sy-tabix,itab-ebeln,itab-ebelp,itab-aedat,itab-amount.
             endloop.
    here output is not showing the amount field value.
    please tell me how to solve this problem urgent
    thanks in advance.

    Hi Sekhar,
        First let me know wheather you are assigning some value to the amount field externally to all records? if this is wright means check the below code.
    DATA: BEGIN OF ITAB occurs 0,
    EBELN TYPE EKPO-EBELN,
    EBELP TYPE EKPO-EBELP,
    AEDAT TYPE EKPO-AEDAT,
    END OF ITAB.
    select * from ekpo
    into corresponding fields of table itab.
    v_amount = '2400'.
    loop at itab where ebeln eq 70 .
    write : / sy-tabix,itab-ebeln,itab-ebelp,itab-aedat,v_amount.
    endloop.
    or if you want to modify perticular records in itab  then use below code.
    DATA: BEGIN OF ITAB occurs 0,
    EBELN TYPE EKPO-EBELN,
    EBELP TYPE EKPO-EBELP,
    AEDAT TYPE EKPO-AEDAT,
    amount(10) type c,
    END OF ITAB.
    select * from ekpo
    into corresponding fields of table itab.
    loop at itab.
    itab-amount = '2400'.
    modify itab index sy-tabix (or perticular line number).
    endloop.
    loop at itab where ebeln eq 70 .
    write : / sy-tabix,itab-ebeln,itab-ebelp,itab-aedat,itab-amount.
    endloop.
    Thanks,
    Suma.

  • Get agent "run as" value from system tables

    Hi,
    When you create a job step (specifically an SSIS) you can set the "run as" value.  Can anyone tell me where this value can be queried in system tables/views?
    I'm looking in
    SELECT * FROM msdb..sysjobsteps
    SELECT * FROM msdb..sysjobs
    but can't see the value I know the job step is set to.

    Try the below:
    SELECT
    B.[job_id] AS [JobID]
    , B.[name] AS [JobName]
    , A.[step_name] AS [StepName]
    , C.[name] AS [RunAs]
    FROM
    [msdb].[dbo].[sysjobsteps] AS A
    INNER JOIN [msdb].[dbo].[sysjobs] AS B ON A.[job_id] = B.[job_id]
    LEFT JOIN [msdb].[dbo].[sysproxies] AS C ON A.[proxy_id] = C.[proxy_id]

  • Add a custom-field in the table MARC and manage it in MM01/MM02/MM03

    Good day to all of you!
    I have this task: To add a custom-field to the table MARC. This custom-field will be managed through the MM01/MM02/MM03 transaction as follows:
    In the Basic Data 1 or Basic Data 2 the custom-field data will be added. Let's say the field is MATNR OBSOLETE.
    I have searched and implemented the things in customizing: Made a copy of function group MGD1, added the field on the screen.
    MY PROBLEM! How to manage it??? When the user enters MM01/MM02/MM03 and update this field, the field should be updated in MARC.
    1. I am not sure that this custom-field should be on Basic Data1 or Basic Data2.They want it at plant level.
    2. How to manage the data transfer from SAP Standard Program and my Custom Function Group.
    PLs: Do not paste me link to sap technical site with that example, because there takes the custom fields and UPDATE a CUSTOM TABLE. I need to update MARC!
    All the documentations i have read until now tell you how to add the field, ONLY the first part of the SOLUTION.
    Any help, pls?
    Good day and thank you!

    Hi Alex,
    In which way you are trying to update that custom filed. Have you written any logic in EXITS/BADIS?
    http://pavelgk.pbworks.com/f/6729224-Implement-Screen-Exit-for-MM01-Adding-New-Fields-in-Screen.pdf
    and
    Just read the OSS note mentioned earlier.
    Symptom
    You want to integrate customer-specific fields in material master maintenance.
    Other terms
    SAPLMGMM, RMDATIND, ALE, CI_MMH1, EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001
    Solution
    To add customer-specific fields to an existing material master table (such as MARA or MARC) , you can proceed as follows as of Release 3.0C:
          1. Use an append structure to add the fields to the required table in the Dictionary (this is not a modification; for details, see the SAP document "ABAP/4 Dictionary"). In Release 3.x, the length of the field names must be the same as  the standard five character fields. This is necessary because of dynamic assignments. As of Release 4.0A, the lengths of the field names can be longer than five characters. If the changes of the fields should be recorded in the change document and taken into account during ALE distribution, set the 'Change document-relevant' indicator for the corresponding data elements. For table MARA in Release 3.x, you must also enhance the database view MARU because the database changes are carried out using this view. This small modification is no longer necessary as of Release 4.0A because the database view MARU is enhanced automatically when you enhance table MARA or the include EMARA (which is the data part of table MARA).
          2. Enhancing online maintenance in customized material master maintenance:
          Define a subscreen with your customer-specific fields in a customer-specific function group created as a copy of the standard function group MGD1.
          In Customizing, assign this subscreen to a maintenance screen using the "Copy customized material master" function. For details, see the Implementation Guide (IMG). As of Release 4.0A, program COPYMGD1 is available. You can use this program to create customer-specific function groups as required. This program is also incorporated in the Customizing function 'Configure customized material master'. Ensure that each field of the subscreen has a field statement in the flow logic, otherwise the data is not transported correctly. You can use subscreen SAPLMGD1 2002 as an example.
          If you want these fields to be subject to standard field selection, you must add new entries for them to the central field table for material master maintenance (T130F):
          Application examples for standard field selection:
          The field is mandatory and is to be flagged with a "?".
          The field belongs exclusively to the purchasing user department. Purchasing data and MRP data are both contained on one screen. However, the MRP controller is not to see the purchasing data.
          The following data is required for each field:
                a) Field name        (T130F-FNAME)
                b) Field selection group (T130F-FGRUP)
                Here, you should use a standard field group if the customer field is subject to the same field selection as the standard fields of the standard field group. If it is not, use a customer-specific field group.
                You must then check and, if necessary, modify the attribute of the field group using the function "Maintain field selection for data screens" in Customizing under "Logistics Basic Data -> Material Master".
                Field groups 111 through 120 that are not used in the standard system are reserved as customer-specific field groups. As of Release 3.0F, additional customer field groups are available. (For details, see the IMG).
                c) Maintenance status (T130F-PSTAT)
                List of the user departments that may maintain the field. You can display possible values by using the input help for the maintenance status field in the Customizing activity "Configure Material Master" when maintaining logical screens.
                d) Reference        (T130F-KZREF)
                This indicator must be set if the field from the reference material should be proposed during creation with reference.
    Note: You cannot yet use Customizing to enhance table T130F; you can use only transaction SE16 (Data Browser) or transaction SM31. Future releases will include a separate Customizing function for maintaining customer-specific fields. See Note 306966. By implementing this note you can add entries to table T130F within Customizing. This type of maintenance is possible as of Release 4.5B.
    You may change the entries for standard fields only with regard to the reference data and field selection group. Changing other data for standard fields constitutes a modification. Therefore, you cannot use the Customizing function "Assign Fields to Field Groups" to change this data.
    In addition, you must not add new standard fields to table T130F.
          3. If you want to maintain customer-specific fields using data transfer by direct input or via ALE distribution, proceed as follows:
          Add the fields to central field table T130F (see above).
          Add the customer-specific fields to the data structures for the data transfer (for example, BMMH1 for the main data).
          Also, add the customer-specific fields to the tables in which the incorrect data is stored during direct input. These tables have the same name as the corresponding master data table and also have the suffix _TMP.
          For example: If you add customer-specific fields to table MARA, you should add the same fields to table MARA_TMP.
          If you use ALE, you must also add fields to the IDoc. To process enhanced IDocs, you can use enhancement MGV00001 with customer exit EXIT_SAPLMV01_002 for creating the IDocs and customer exit EXIT_SAPLMV02_002 for posting the IDocs.
          Prior to Release 3.0E, enhancing structure BMMH1 constitutes a modification. In this case, you must add the new fields tot the end of the structure before the last field (SENDE = record end indicator).
          As of Release 3.0F, structure BMMH1 contains the customer include CI_MMH1, which is part of the enhancement MGA0001. Here, you must proceed as follows:
                a) Add the customer-specific fields to include CI_MMH1.
                The names of the fields in CI_MMH1 must be identical to those of the corresponding fields in material master tables MARA, MARC and so on.
                Important: The fields must be CHAR type fields. Therefore, create CHAR type data elements whose lengths are identical to the output length of your fields in  table MARA and so on. Use these data elements in include CI_MMH1, but use the field names from table MARA and so on.
                b) Activate include CI_MMH1.
                c) If you have not used customer structure ZMMH1 before, create it as a copy of structure BMMH1 and delete the standard fields that you do not require. You are not permitted to delete field STYPE and include CI_MMH1 when doing this. If you have already used structure ZMMH1, add include CI_MMH1 to it.
                d) Activate structure ZMMH1. This also adds the customer-specific fields to ZMMH1.
    Run program RMDATING. This program generates routines which are supplied to your customer-specific fields from the input file. As of Release 4.5A, you also need to activate the routines/function modules generated by program RMDATING (especially, the MAT_MOVE_BMMH1_XXXX modules). Details about this subject (especially the procedure when using customer structure ZMMH1) are described in the IMG for transferring the material data under item 'Maintain Transfer Structure'. Also, check the declaration of structure WA in program RMMMBIMC to see whether it is declared with sufficient length. If necessary, enhance the declaration (for the time being, this still constitutes a minor modification).
    In addition, lengthen domain DI_DATA with CHAR 5000. As of Release 3.1H, this has already been done.
    Important: When using customer-specific fields, you can use only structure ZMMH1 to transfer the data. Otherwise, after the next SAP upgrade which contains new standard fields in structure BMMH1, the input files no longer match. If you want these new standard fields to be transferred, add them after your customer-specific fields (the order of the fields in structure ZMMH1 does not need to be the same as the order of the fields in BMMH1).
    If you want foreign key dependencies or fixed domain values to be checked, or another check for a customer field, this is possible up to and including Release 3.0D only by modifying the corresponding check function modules. As of Release 3.0E, you can use function exit EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 (SAP enhancement MGA00001) for these purposes.
    If you want to use engineering change management to schedule future changes for your customer-specific fields or you want to use the 'Display at Key Date' function, execute program GENERATE in addition. This program generates the necessary assignments for interpreting the change documents. With regard to engineering change management, you must read Notes 60281, 60973, and 48962.
    To date, it is not possible to integrate customer-specific tables in material master maintenance without making a modification. However, you can create customer-specific development objects containing the essential additional logic. You can then integrate these development objects in your system as part of only a minor modification.

  • SYSTEM table space is critical

    Hi,
    Generally we will not add any datafiles for UNDO table space because it is oracle managed tablespace.For SYSTEM table shall I add datafile if it reaches threshold value or not?
    Regards,
    ARNS.

    Hi,
    Normally there is no need to increase the SYSTEM table space.The SYSTEM tablespace should only contain system-relevant data (such as the Oracle Dictionary).If you do not specify a 'Default Permanent Tablespace' when you create the database, the SYSTEM tablespace automatically assumes this role.May be this is happening in your case.
    The size of the Oracle Dictionary in the SYSTEM tablespace stabilizes over time. The AWR (Automatic Workload Repository) in the SYSAUX tablespace also becomes relatively fixed in size after a certain time, depending on the retention period. The SYSTEM and SYSAUX tablespaces therefore remain relatively stable in terms of size in the longer term.
    Application data, on the other hand, is not stable, and usually grows in size. If user data is stored in the SYSTEM or SYSAUX tablespaces, these two tablespaces may continue to grow in an uncontrolled manner. Time-consuming reorganization is then required at a later stage to correct this.
    If non-system database users use the SYSTEM tablespace to save their data, this may also cause the database performance to degrade. The following security problem also arises: If non-system database users store their data in the SYSTEM tablespace, the entire space in the SYSTEM tablespace may be occupied, which means that the database can no longer function. In terms of system availability, you should therefore always ensure that a tablespace other than SYSTEM or SYSAUX is defined as the special Default Permanent Tablespace.

  • Checking if UDF in System Table Exists

    Hi all,
    I want to add a UDF in the RDR1 table (Sales Order Lines).  I'm having a problem checking if the field exists!  This is my code...
    If Not oUserFieldMD.GetByKey("RDR1", 0) Then
      oUserFieldMD.TableName = "RDR1"
      oUserFieldMD.Name = "NJ_OpnTpoQty"
      oUserFieldMD.Description = "Open TPO Qty"
    End If
    The problem is that I have previous UDF's from other Add-Ons in that table and so I cant use a Hard Code 0 "Zero" in the "FieldID" Parameter for the GetByKey Method! It could vary depending on the number of existing UDFs.  How do I check for the this UDF with using the "TableID" and "AliasID".  I could use a oRecordSet.DoQuery and check if the RecordCount = 0....but I am having a "-1120 Ref Count..." error problem with having two BoObjects open simultaneously.
    Does any1 have any other way of checking if UDFs exists in System Tables?
    Thanks

    Hi Noor
    I know 2 ways:
    1st:
    Dim mRs As SAPbobsCOM.Recordset
    mRs.DoQuery("SELECT TableID FROM CUFD WHERE TableID = 'RDR1' AND FieldID = 'NJ_OpnTpoQty'")
    If Not mRs.EoF Then
       'Add Field
    End If
    The problem is that you can have this field with other TableId and your code will crash
    2nd:
    Put your "add field" code in a Try..Catch block with no code in catch section.

  • Gr/ir slip field value is not stored in table mkpf..!!

    dear sap gurus,
        i have a typical problem.. i am doing Transfer posting from one storage location to another. using MB1B with 311 mov type.. and mentioning some values in the gr/ir slip field.. but system is not storing the value in table..
    Can any one say how to solve this.. if i use MIGO_TR then its storinghte value i mentioned in MKPF table..
    Regard,
    Manu

    Hi Manu,
    This GR/GI slip number has only been designed for use in those countries (for example, Italy) whose legislation requires specification of this number for goods that leave the plant and are transported on public roads. In other countries, the material document number printed on the GR/GI slip (in the standard system) is usually sufficient. To enter external  documents, you can use the field Material slip or Delivery note.
    If still wants to use this field you are required make relevent settings in config.
    Please go to transaction OMC1.
    There you will find 4 push buttons.
       1. Activation of GR/IR slip for plant.
       2. Number range grouping code.
       3. Intervals for number range.
       4. Object(here you are assigning the number range for the plant,  storage location and movement type.
    This will allow you to store GR/IR slip number in MKPF with trx. MB1B

  • How to copy system table from one client to another client

    Hi,
    Currently i am implementing recruitment module in one of the power sector company. I have finished all the configuration in one of the client in development server. I have trasported all the request in Qulaity server so that i can do the testing. When i am running TCode : PBA7 (Direct Data Transfer) i am getting a runtime error with error analysis -
    A SELECT, UPDATE, or DELETE statement contains the invalid table
    name "PB0021".
    I have checked this system table in this client (Quality Server) but this table is not available, but at the same time this table is available in Devepment server client where i can run this transaction.
    Requiring your help on this to resolve this issue. Do i need to copy this system table PB0021 from Development server client to Quality server client? If so then how to do this activity?
    Thanks in advance....
    Regards,
    Milind

    Hi Milind,
    Goto SE01.
    Create a workbench request manually.
    Add the following entry.
    R3TR TABL PB0021.
    Transport the request to quality system.
    Hope this works.
    Best wishes,
    Dilek

  • How to add a cell from 2 different tables in 2 different Matrix(s) that reside on the same rdlc report?

    Hello Community
        Using Visual Studio 2008 I have created a Windows Forms Application in which I created
    Embedded Reports (rdlc).
        The embedded reports (rdlc) uses Matrix(s).
        Now on this one rdlc I have dragged 2 Matrix(s) onto the body.
        One of the Matrix datasource dataset name and table name is "DataSet1_Table1.
        A cells in the Matrix has a total column on the end as follows:
    =FormatNumber(Sum(Fields!fld1.Value)+Sum(Fields!fld2.Value)+Sum(Fields!fld3.Value)+Sum(Fields!fld4.Value)+Sum(Fields!fld5.Value),"0")
        The other Matrix datasource dataset name and table name is "DataSet2_Table2.
        The cell in this Matrix has a total column on the end as follows:
    =Sum(Fields!fld1.Value)+Sum(Fields!fld2.Value)+Sum(Fields!fld3.Value)+Sum(Fields!fld4.Value)+Sum(Fields!fld5.Value)
        As you can see each Matrix has a different table.
        I would like to add the total columns from each table in each Matrix but I haven't been
    able to do it successfully. If I have to drag another Matrix or a Textbox on the
    body to do it that is okay and/or add another/different formula to a cell onto the body that is
    okay too.
        So my question is how can I add the contents of the total in cell from each table in each matrix
    which will create the "grand total"?
        Thank you
        Shabeaut

    It is possible to reference SSRS elements directly using the ReportItems collection. If your total tablix cell is outside of yoour matrix groups, you can use this collection to accomplish what you want:
    =ReportItems!Matrix1Total.Value + ReportItems!Matrix2Total.Value
    where Matrix1Total and Matrix2Total is the name of the cell that contains your totals. Note that for this to work, the cell name must be unique. If the total cell is inside a group, it will be repeated once for each instance of the group and will not be
    unique.
    You may be able to do it using the Sum aggregate and specifying the dataset for the scope variable:
    =Sum(Fields!fld1.Value, "DataSet1")+Sum(Fields!fld2.Value,
    "DataSet1")+Sum(Fields!fld3.Value,
    "DataSet1")+Sum(Fields!fld4.Value,
    "DataSet1")+Sum(Fields!fld5.Value,
    "DataSet1")+Sum(Fields!fld1.Value,
    "DataSet2")+Sum(Fields!fld2.Value,
    "DataSet2")+Sum(Fields!fld3.Value,
    "DataSet2")+Sum(Fields!fld4.Value,
    "DataSet2")+Sum(Fields!fld5.Value,
    "DataSet2")
    This will work as long as you are not filtering the dataset in your Matrix properties. If you are, those
    filters will not apply to this expression and the numbers will not total correctly.
