Adding a new FWSM context through CSM

Hi,
I have a Multi-Context FWSM ver 4.0 and a CSM ver 3.3.1 to manage it.
I need to know is there any know issue when creating a new context through the CSM UI !!!
By the way, the devices (FWSM and CSM) user accounts are managed by an ACS ver 4.2

For known open bugs list affecting this version, you can check the release notes:

from that list, i see CSCtd60804 affects 4.0.1 . this can be a problem if you are deploying to an active/active setup.

You probably need to go under the system context and create the interface and also allocate vlans to it in CSM before you configure the context itself.

Connect MSFC to FWSM context through and external IPS.

Somebody knows if is possible to successfully pass traffic through an interface bridge between a FWSM and the MSFC using an external IPS Solution as inline physical interfaces?
In theory should work just like vlan bridging in the connection through and internal IDSM-2, like this:
MSFC<---vlan 10--->Inline IDMS-2<---vlan 20--->FWSM Context

Adding FWSM multi context in CSM

Hi friends,
Just wanted to know that when adding FWSM multi-context in CSM 3.1, do i need to add all contexts separately in CSM or just adding the admin context will do the needful?
It seems to me that all security policies (ACL's) appear in CSM only after i import each context individually. But i have 22.
Just wanted to know if it is possible to add it in an easier way.

Hi, i have a similar problem: I have two context and system context, the CSM uses ACS to authenticate the devices, when I try to add the CSM tells me that the isn't authorized, but if configure in the ACS as a client, the CSM tells me that the device isn't authorized, I think that i need to add the system context as aaa client also, but this context haven't ip address by definition, how can I solve the problem?

I lost the lan ethernet connection of an older windows 7 pc to my 3 Terabyte router when adding a new local printer to the pc. How do i set this up again so the PC is recognized and can get to the internet again through the time capsule?

I recently added a new printer to a 2005 vintage PC that is running windows 7. It used to go through a router in my wifes upstairs office to the time capsule by wired ethernet (cat5) but when I added her new local printer thought I would network it, big mistaked, lost all my ethernet connection and she cannot get to the internet. Wireless not an option. How do i set up again the ethernet connection and i will only USB the printer locally this time for the windows pc?
Tried windows diagnostics, and besides telling me to reset everything and turn router off and on etc. I am in an endless loop.
Other Mac products are not impacted by this issue.

I see no direct connection.. a printer and the computer setup for internet are not related.
But it sounds like the router in the wife's office is now in the wrong mode..
If you have an existing main router replace the second router for a switch .. that is the easy way.
Otherwise you need to bridge the router if it has that option.. most do not. Or use wan bypass.. where you turn off the dhcp server in the router and fix its ip to match the range of the main router.. this is the hassle of using router as a switch.
BUT I am making a huge number of assumptions.
What I need is the full network layout.. a quick picture would help.
I need main modem.. main router.. (maybe same box or different).. make model and current IP address and how dhcp is setup.
I need secondary router.. if that is what it is, IP and settings.
I want the printer type and model. How it is connected.
BTW I much prefer to see a network printer plugged into the network rather than usb.. it is only a matter of sorting the IP settings and driver pointing to the network rather than local.
Or you should think of it as a broken washing machine and call the technician.. who could fix the whole lot in an hour.

IRM Web Services Adding a New Role to a Context

We are in the process of using the IRM web services to create a system that will automatically create users/contexts and seal documents over the web.
So far I can successfully create users and groups and assign permissions properly as well as create context.
I am having trouble adding roles to the context.
The error I'm getting is "The attribute 'Features' is mandatory".
The problem is that there is no function to add features to the ContextRole object.
How do I set up the features so that I can save then new ContextRole?

Response from engineering on your latest questions:
Depending on which web service code generator is used, collection typed properties may or may not be provided with set operation. If the code generator does provide a set method for collections, then you can just specify the set of features you require as so:
// Java
Collection<Feature> features = new ArrayList<Feature>();
features.add(feature);
ContextRole role = new ContextRole();
role.setFeatures(features);
However if the set method is NOT provided, then you need to manipulate the collection directly, by using the get method and then using the standard collection methods to alter the contents.
// Java
ContextRole role = new ContextRole();
role.getFeatures().add(feature);
These two examples are functionally the same, they both create a context role object with one feature.

In BP transaction there is a concession tab. i want to add 2 new screen fields from z table.
i have added from z table in that concession tab.
But The problem is that screen fields are coming in the last line.but where as i need those all new fields in right corner of first and second lines of the existing fields .plz.. help me

I suggest to use EEWB for adding the new field. Follow the following steps
1. Run Transaction EEWB (Easy Enhancement Work Bench)
2. Create new Project.
3. Select the relevent Z package.
4. Create Customizing and Workbench Requests.
5. Select table BUPA
6. Select the type of field you require (single or table) and follow the wizard.
The new fields will appeare on a new tab "Customer Data" on BP Screen.
The Screen Name and Sequence can then be changed with VCT.
Precautions:
1. Your user must have developer's key privilages.
2. There should not be any users working on the system when you are doing this activity.
3. The workbench request created is client independent. The customization request created is client specific.
4. The process is reversable and does not get effected by patch upload.

Error while adding a new method to the Session Bean

Hello everyone. I'm using jdev 11g, ejb, jpa & jsf. Everything works fine. But when I try to add a custom method to the Session Bean, I'm having an error.
Here is my steps:
1) I added a new method to SessionBean.java. Something like this:

2) Then using Structure palette I exposed this method through Local interface and created data control
3) Finally, I made a command button binded to this method (just droped it from DataControls.dcx to my page)
When I start the page and click the button, I'm having the following error:

Adding a new account in Team Foundation Server

I have a problem with adding of new accounts into Team Foundation Server 2010. I can add a new domain account into group Contributors of my team project without problems but after that I can't see it in the list of available accounts, for example, in the
drop down list 'Assigned To' at a work item page.
The added user can see the project, do check-in and check-out but he can't get access to the project work items. He has got an error
TF201072: A user or group could not be found. Verify that the users and groups used in your work item type definition have been added to Team Foundation Server.
Can anybody help me?

We don’t recommend to edit the TFS database(s) directly, it may cause the unknown issues.
To edit data in TFS Server, we should edit the data through VS, Web Access, TF command or TFS API. Unless there’s an official SQL Server script to edit TFS data which provided by MS.
As you edited the dbo.Constants table to update user’s data, but the user’s data also included in other
TFS tables too, there’s the key connection relationships between these tables, if we update this user’s data in Web Access, TFS Sever will update this user’s data in all the related tables automatically. But you manually edited this user’s data only
in dbo.Constants table, so the edited data not included in other related tables, it may cause the current issue.

I registered my new iPhone 5s to my usual Apple ID, however it isn't showing in my devices when I log in. I tried to register it by adding a new device, but it tells me it's already registered to a different Apple ID. I'm really not sure how to fix this.

I only have the one Apple ID and the phone is brand new, purchased directly from Apple.
When I check on the phone itself (iCloud and App Store settings) the Apple ID is correct. I'm not sure where else to check.
Whilst setting up the phone, it prompted me to register, which I did. Then when connecting to my laptop through iTunes it prompted me again so I registered again. I even got a confirmation email to the email address associated with my Apple ID that the registration was successful.
How can I add my iPhone 5s to the list of devices on the correct Apple ID?

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare(or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.

But when i enter the data and try to continue it errors out and asks to contact System Administrator.Please help if some1 has faced similar problem.

Adding a new field to a Z table

We have a Z table on which we have created a datasource. We have created a virtual cube on this datasource and queries are built on this cube. This setup is present on Dev, Quality and Prod environment.
Now we have added a new field to the Z table in Dev. We will be creating a new Infoobject for this new field and will be adding it in the Virtual Infoprovider and also in the queries.
1. Do we need to replicate the datasource so that newly added field is visible to the datasource? If no, is there any way?
2. When I have to transport this to Quality and Prod, do I have to capture all the components and objects (Table,Datasoure,Virtual Cube Queries)? If no, what should I capture in the transport request?

Hi,
First, you have to regenerate the datasource in order to add the field:
1) Log on to source system (where Z table is stored) and go to transaction RSA6.
2) Select the root node and click Expand (icon with '+' sign).
3) Search for your datasource (you can use the binoculars icon).
4) Click on Change.
5) Verify that the field appears on the list. Make sure that "Hide field" and "Field only known on client exit" options are not marked for this field.
6) Click on Save.
7) Select "Datasource" -> "Generate" (CTRL+S) menu option.
8) Use RSA3 transaction in order to verify the new field appears on test extractions.
Then, to replicate the datasource in BI:
1) Log on to SAP BI and go to RSA1 transaction.
2) Go to "Modeling" -> "DataSources" section.
3) Search for your datasource and right click on it. Select "Replicate metadata" from context menu.
4) Add the new InfoObject to the VirtualProvider.
5) Update the transformation which joins the DataSource to the VirtualProvider.
As far as transport requests are concerned, even though it requires more work, it is a good practice to group objects in different transport requests according to their type:
In the source System (R3 for instance):
1) One transport request with the table.
2) One transport request with the datasource and its structure.
In BI:
1) One transport order with the datasource replica.
2) One transport order with the new InfoObject(s).
3) One transport order with the modified VirtualProvider.
4) One transport order with the modified transformations from the datasource towards the VirtualProvider.
5) One transport order with the Queries and their elements.

Serialization Error after adding a new field to BPM Process

I have a BPM Process to which I added a new attribute userid and consuming the BPM process in a web dynpro application, I created a model using the BPM Process's Web Service but getting a serialization error that the model does not have a mandatory field with name [userid]. see below.
FYI.. I can trigger my BPM process through the Web Service in wsnavigator , the error I am getting is while executing the BPM Process from the custom webdynpro.
Any idea how to resolve the issue?

Problem adding a new tab to e-Recruiting

Hi,
I am facing the following problem in adding a new tab in the E-Recruitment (Manpower Requisition) application. The developer had created a new BSP page of the following information.
Name space: SAP
Application: ZHR_MPOWER_REQ
Controller URL: MPR.DO
A customized element (9001) had also been created with the above information.
I have also created a context ZTEST and a Container Seq '1000' and under the Container Seq, I have allocated a few assignment of Element of which I have assigned the new element - 9001.
Having assigned the above, I am still unable to see the new tab in the link. Please let me know if there are any missing steps.

Alvin, i could not see why you could not see the BSP Page.
Please got to t-code SLG1 and check the log's why it's not coming.
