Adding custom fields to standard table control in IW51

Hi,
I have added 4 custom fields to the standard table QMEL through the structure CI_QMEL .
In transaction IW51 there is a table control as show in the screenshot below.
The 4 custom fields which i have added in the standard table should also be added to this table control.
Can this achieved by making adjustments in SPRO settings or can it be acheived technically by using some exit?

Hi Vignesh,
Adding new fields is not possible, but custom subscreens can be added.
Check enhancements QQMA0001 (subscreen for notification header) and QQMA0008 (subscreen for additional data).

If you don't want to access key...then only option is ,you have to search USER Exit or BADi (Try using BADI ME_GUI_PO_CUST) for me22n transaction......to adding the field.

Can any one explain the below spec-description.
"The purpose of this design is to provide the foundation for a more automated solution to the invoice reconciliation process. This design calls for adding a custom field to the standard SAP table EINE as well as a data maintenance tool for the same. There will also be a new custom table for storing values associated with the new EINE field. These new tables will also provide users with the ability to determine which PIR are soon to expire."
We have to add one custom field to standard table EINE, how we can add this custom field to STND table.
According to me we can add it through append structure. is it correct or not.
and what is data maintenance tool.
Pls.............Explain in details.

Goto SE11 ,give ur table name.Then press display button.Then in the application tool bar press on append structure ...Now create a zstructure and add ur custom field and then activate the table.

Add columns with custom fields in the table control of MIGO

Hi,
I have to add custom fields in the table control view of item in the MIGO. I have added the fields in the GOITEM structure and i am able to display it in the item details tab. I want the same fields to be visible as columns in the table control view of the items.
I found that TV_GOITEM is the control in SAPLMIGO program referring to the table control of items but it is referring only to the standard fields available in Screen 200.
Please let me know if there is any screen exit or option to add the custom fields in the control TV_GOITEM.

Custom fields for FV50 table control

Hello,
The customer has a requirement to add 3 text fields to the table control in Transaction FV50. These fields are currently not available in the table control at all (I checked the Table settings Administrator). Further, no Screen/Transaction Variant has been implemented either to prevent these fields from being displayed. Which is why I'd like to find a way to add these custom fields to this table control. These fields are the text descrptions for the numeric fields Cost Center, Fund and Business Area.
I've read many posts on this forum regarding potential solutions including the link below which details the SAP std solution. Only problem is this approach adds these fields to the data dictionary tables underlying the screen. The customer says about 1 million records are being generated a month so they would rather not have all that extra data at the line item level.
Custom column for FB60
If anybody has done this sort of thing via a user exit I'd much appreciate your input.

Yes, I checked IMG configuration and found that Txn OXK3 allows us to extend the underlying tables and customize the generic fields in the table control. However, the client has nearly 1 million postings to table BSEG each month and I'm guessing this approach will entail adding the custom fields to table BSEG, which won't work for them. I haven't actually tried this approach because the SAP documentation has some dire warnings about proceeding. But if you have any insight as to whether this can be achieved without extending BSEG (possibly just extend VBSEGS??) that would be very valuable.

Now whatever values I enter for the zfields(va02 ) must be saved in vbap table.
How do i do this?.
Should I write in MV45AIZZ .(PAI).

zfield in the program means the corresponding field name u have given for the newly added field in the table.
IN the layout u might have added some field ad have given some name (I/O) field name.

Adding a field to a table control of a standard screen

Hi,
I need to add a field to a table control of a standard screen (Transaction CAT2).
Could anybody please tell me how i could go about doing this?
Also, what customization would be required to display the field because there are way too many fields and only a few are being displyed as of now.
I will get the access(SSCR) key to modify the screen.

Did you name you customer field also "FIELD1_W", because the field should get updated then without any modification as in screen 2100 a "move-corresponding" is performed from CATSDB to these fields.

Adding Custom Fields in Standard View - How to save data to Table

Dear Experts,
One View is having UI elements from a standard table /RPM/ITEM_D. Added 2 custom fields in this table using enhacement. Now enhanced that standard View and added these 2 custom fields. When I am saving the application, these 2 fields values aslo should be saved. In the context all fields are present from table /RPM/ITEM_D except the custom one. Can you please help me out how to acheive this.

Hi Sumesh,
What you need to do is :
1) add these two new fields in the same context node where the field from table /RPM/ITEM_D are added.
2) in your UI , bind values to these new attributes.
If current application is using and BAPI / Class method to update the table ,
this new fields will also be passed to that bapi and will update table.

Adding Custom Fields to FAGLFLEXP Table

Hello,
We have a requirement to update WBS Element for Planning related Data. So have added custom field(WBS Element) in structure CI_FAGLFLEX04.
The field is visible when I open FAGLFLEXP table, but when I post data The custom field (WBS Element) is not being updated. Could you please let me know the process to update this field?

The procedure isn't so simple. There are several posts on the subject SCN. I suggest research before you start developing.

However, the most important is: a) Is it really necessary to change the standard? b) There could be a Z table containing the new information and referencing FAGLFLEXP? c) What is the transaction that will keep the data? It has Exit´s for what you need?

Actually your approach may be wrong, first as an ABAPer should ask to functional team, which transaction and where to insert the fields, it could be header or item level(I am saying example)
Based on tcode, you need to enhance the table level as well as the screen exit/BADI we need to pass screen to internal programming structure. the structure type will be table type of FAGLFLEXP.

Dear All ,
I have come across a situation where I want to add a field in a standard table control .
But how to proceed for tht I am not getting .
In the standad transation me22n in the ITEM OVERVIEW table control I want to add Curreny field in the table control structure
i.e MEPO1211 I have append the field in MEPO1211_DATA it is even visible in run time in the structure but not visible in table control and in table control settings also.
How can I add one more column or some standard procedure to do that. Please suggest .

Custom fields in migo table control not updating

This is to have your valuable suggestion , wrt , following issue..
In transaction MIGO , i have to add two fields uebto and untto in table control .
I am able to add them in table control, but some how not able to pick data for these fields .
error coming is :
" System error: Incorrect Customizing for field
ZZUEBTO".

Adding custom fields to DB table

Hi,
I added custom fields in std DB table using CI_* , activated table using SE14. Now I want to remove the added custom fields , I deleted the CI_* using SE11. It still appears in DB table, I mean I dont expect to disappear from DB table, when I double click it still takes to structure screen. I deleted include from SE80 also selecting Package, activated and adjusted DB table from SE14 after deletion, but it still appears and when I check the attributes it shows the same package , how to reset the CI_* , bottom line ,I want to make DB table normal as before, because of that I am getting dumps when I execute std DB table related T codes.
It should be done in easy way but not able to get breakthrough.
Please let me know your suggestions.

Hi Sai,
Try to assign the CI_* structure to $temp,i.e as local object and then activate it first.
After that, try deleting the local object and adjust the table using SE14.
If still it does not work, ask your BASIS consultant to do an "Alter table".

I need to add a field to standard table, I am using one append structure in that i am adding my field , But whenever I am activating the structure, I am not able to activate, It is getting as "PARTLY/ACTIVE" status for structure, so please help me in activating the structure.

goto se14
give the std table name
adjust and activate...
if the problem is not solved.......
see if the field is repeating twice in that Std table.....
if so delete the repeating fields....

Adding Custom fields to standard SAP-EBP application

A functionality requires some custom fields to be added to the standard SAP-SRM EBP ( Manage business partners) application.
If I copy the whole BBP_VENDOR_CREATE program into a Z-program, and the BBPMAININT internet service to a Z-application, then would it be feasible??
Which is the best way to add custom fields in a SAP standard EBP application--in the 'Manage business partners' section.

I don't think it's easily possible to add custom fields to the existing transaction - BBPMAININT.
For adding customer fields you can refer the SAP OSS not - 672960, but I don't think it will be of much help here.
<b>Since SAP has not upgraded this transaction - BBPMAININT for a quite long time, you need to do all the logic and validation from your end.</b>
<u>Better to go for you own Z (custom program) and make your logic accordingly.</u>

Adding custom fields to standard Asset Accounting ALV reports

I have recently added some fields to the Asset Master table ANLU using the customizing include CI_ANLU. I have also added some fields using an append structure to ANLZ. I now need to have these fields available in the standard reports for Asset Accounting. One example is the report generated for transaction S_ALR_87011963. I need the new fields available in the 'Displayed Columns' list when clicking the Change Layout icon. Any suggestions?
