Adding to a property's list via Automator
Hi,
I have a property set up as a list and need to add additional values. Does anyone know if there is a way to add to them via an Automator script? Or do I have to type them in one-by-one in the UI?

It's not an easy straigh task.
You can first export the property values (with node name) to text file,
then use another tool to search/replace/add new value,
same tool can be used to produce an automator script, using ChangeProp with the same node name and the new value,
then execute the script to read into DRM.

Appending a value via automator to an existing property value
My manager asked me an interesting question, he wanted to know if we can append a value via automator to an existing property value. I looked through the documentation and I think it cannot be done though this can be accomplished via a longer route, by saving the automator value in a new property and creating another new property that concatenates the existing property value and the automator value.
Any ideas if this can be achieved without creating 2 additional properties?
Scenario
Existing property has value ABCD.
Use an automator file to append another value(XYZ) to this existing property. After the auto update the exsiting property should look like this: ABCD-XYZ

TDIt can be done but it is a multistep process. You need to:
1. Do an extract of the current nodes you want to have the value appended to into a delimited txt file.
2. Bring the file into EXCEL
3. change the values in EXCEL
4. create an automator file using the changeprop function and run the automator
When you do the extract, select the columns:
Version Name, Hierarchy Name, Node Name, Value you are extracting
As you can see this will prebuild a lot of the automator for you....... -
If I help out a friend & download a free app (through my iTunes account) on their new iPod Touch, will their device automatically be added to my itunes device list (and they can see all my contacts, pix, music etc)?
Just wondering, what context is this in?
First up, is your iTunes account part of an iCloud account?
Secondly, if it's a free app, why don't they just download it? If they are having trouble finding it on the App Store, but you can find it easily, you can share the link for it via email with them, and if they view that email on their iPod they can just tap the link and it will open the App Store to that App for them, so they can download it themselves.
If you were to go to the Store settings pane and sign in with your iTunes account, that should only provide the possibility for download items from your iTunes account, such as purchased apps, music and movies. However, if you signed in, downloaded the app, and then went back and signed out of the account again, there shouldn't be any access apart from the app you downloaded. This is provided you sign in using the Store section of the Settings app, not the iCloud section.
One problem they will have if you download this in your account instead of theirs, in order to download updates for that app, they will need you to enter your iTunes password to download the updates. Doing that doesn't give them access to anythign to do with your account other than that update, but they will be unable to receive updates for it without your password. They would also likely be unable to sync the app onto their computer, as their computer would not be Authorised with your iTunes account.
If you can answer some of the questions I've asked, I may be able to suggest alternate ways for you get them the app on their device.

in interaction center, the users can see the call lists assigned, but they can't modify it.
So, is possible change/delete call lists via WEB UI??? For example add a call at the list, or delete all the call list??

Starting CRM 7.0 SP4 a lean version of the Call List Management application was developed.
It does not cover all the functionality of the SAP GUI application.
Here is a list of features that are covered in this version of the WebUI application:
- Quick search
View options: tile layout and editable overview page with assignment block

- Creation of new call lists
- Edit existing call lists
Update contact persons: When editing a call list, you can update the contact persons. By default, the relationship type Has contact person is considered. Contact persons for whom the Do not contact checkbox is selected, are not added to the list of contact persons.

Did a clean install 10.9.4. on a Apple Stock 1TB Fusion Hard Drive. When I run "diskutil list" via Terminal, everything is wrong. I have "EFI" and "apple Boot Boot OSX" in every dev/disk** Everything is out of place, How can I repair? Im willing too reformat if need be, however thats what I did in the first place. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

How to create new subsite while adding new item to the list by using javascript?

I hav a task ie, when I add item to the list then subsite will create with that list item title and description . So By using javascript, I have to create subsite while adding new item to the list.

Report to send a List via mail
Hi everybody,
at the moment we hava a report which we have to start every day to generate a customer List. Via SAP Office we can send this list via email to a specific person. Now I like to automate this report and start it as a job which automativly send this list via mail.
Do you have an idea how this will work?

You could put the lines of your list in a table of type SOLISTI1 and then use the function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send the content of this table. You have to fill the table RECEIVERS with the address you want to send the report to.

There used to be a 'buy all' button on the wish list screen but for some reason that has been removed from the current version of iTunes so you will need to buy each item individually. First, you should be receiving email notifications of any reply; you haven't because there haven't been any. Second, should you be able to access that website? Have you done it before? Occasionally, I've gotten a similar message from websites I frequent but trying later will often clear the problem. Other times, I've gone to websites I really don't have permission to access and the website knows it. Also, you might try another browser, such as Firefox or Opera.
Finally, if you mean the Birchmere Music Hall, I get the same error message, and if Ticketmaster needs to access that website for ticket and event dates, it can't get through either. I'd suggest waiting for whomever handles the Birchmere website to fix it, or call them on the phone.
BTW, it's not a good idea to put your email address out for all to see. If you can still edit the post, delete it.

Updating a secondary datasource to a Sharepoint list via infopath form rules
Using SharePoint 2010 and InfoPath 2010 I created a form that prior to submission it gets an integer value from a separate SharePoint list via a secondary datasource. Just before the rule that submits the form to a document folder via the
main datasource I increment the integer value and try to write it back to the secondary datasource I got it from. I know that I have the correct value. That is, it is reading from the data source the correct integer information and it is incrementing
it in the form but when it writes the value back to the same column in the same secondary datasource it doesn't give any indication that it didn't work. But when I look at the list of the secondary data source I see that the integer value is

You can attach your Excel doucment into InfoPath form and send InfoPath form to a custom web service. Then you can parse the Excel data and combine the Excel data and additional fields into SharePoint list in the customized web service.

Library Issue: I just imported 2 CD's into ITunes. They show up in "Recently Added" and on my other devices via ITunes Match, but NOT in the ITunes software on the computer where I added them. They show up in the search box, but when I click on the results it just kicks me to ALL my music. I have imported thousands of songs/CD's before and this is a new one.
Something may have gone wrong with the index of the Music playlist. Making another change to the library such as downloading the current iTunes Free Single of the Week, or deleting one track from your library and reimporting it, should fix the problem.
If that doesn't work close iTunes and delete the hidden file sentinel from inside the main iTunes folder, then start iTunes again. It should run a consistency check when it starts up which ought to correct things.

An error occurred while adding the Cluster to the list
Hello,
I've installed the HFM 9.3.1 client on a Windows Server 2003 machine and now I'm attempting to configure it. I get all the way to the Server/Cluster Registration and when I try to add my one and only HFM application server to the list I'm present with this error.
"An error occurred while adding the Cluster to the list".
I don't see anything of use in the config tool log and as a result, I'm stuck. The odd thing is that not more than 10 minutes previously I added just finished installing the HFM client on another Windows Server 2003 machine and it installed / configured perfectly.
What am I missing?
Thanks!You may have a DNS error of sorts. From a command line on the server which presents the error, ping the servername you are trying to reach. Do not use the cluster name, but instead use the server name or IP address. If you successfully reach it, use this in the registration utility. Once the server has been reached, it will return the cluster's name. If you cannot reach it using ping, focus on the underlying DNS problem.

Delete photos in iphoto via automator
I've been looking for days for a way to delete photos that are in iphoto via automator. I'm working on a script that will import pictures from a server to iphoto album, then play the slideshow of the album on our HDTV setup... It's all working except for the fact that if I delete an image from the "server" the slide from the previous import is still in iphoto... any ideas?
I the record feature (in automator), but that didn't work out.Don't think you can. There's nothing in the Automator Dictionary that would allow you to either move an image to the iPhoto trash or to empty it.
