Adding to the ContentPane

Pretty basic question I have...
You know how when you add a component, say a JPanel, to the contentPane on the SOUTH. And then you add another component to the EAST. The south component always overrides the east component so the east component does not extend all the way to the bottom of the window. How do I make it so the east JPanel extends from the top to the bottom of the window on the right side? Then have another JPanel on the bottom that ends as soon as it contacts the east panel?

You may want to use a different layout manger than BorderLayout. But if you have your heart stuck on a BorderLayout:
If you have a panel that is to be added to the center already, you can put the center pane inside another panel with a BorderLayout, adding you center pane newCenterPane.add(BorderLayout.CENTER, centerPane); and the pane that you want at the bottom newCenterPane.add(BorderLayout.SOUTH, southPane); then just add your east pane to the main content pane add(BorderLayout.EAST, eastPane);
I know it may be confusing, that is why you may want to look at using a GridBagLayout.

Row getting added in the end of the scroll

Hi -
I am using a scroll area on a page on level 1. The issue iam encountering is that when ever i click the plus sign to add a second or third row (assume one record already exists in scroll 1) , the row gets added in the end of the scroll and also the fields are blank. However as delievered the new row should get added on the top of the scroll meaning 1 of 2 not 2 of 2, and also it should carry forward the values from the prior row. Please any suggestion or help is greatly appreciated.

I figured it out. The reason it was happening was because, my scroll record had another key field after EFFDT and EFFSEQ, due to which the delivered copy forward logic for new rows in scroll did not work and the row was getting added in the end or after the first blank row always.

You don't input the information in manually for iCloud mail. It is automatically set up for you when you sign into iCloud via System Preferences and choose the Mail checkbox. Sign out of iCloud or deselect Mail in iCloud preferences. Open Mail's preferences and choose accounts tab. If iCloud account still exists in the list, delete it. Sign back into iCloud or check the box for mail. The account will be auto created for you.

I am trying to open Cold Fusion files using Dreamweaver CC. We've never had a problem with the versions before the Cloud. My co-worker can open using a PC, but I'm using a Mac. I can connect to the server and see the files, but when I open, it opens the file in text editor. I have tried adding the extensions to the Extensions.txt file (they weren't there previously), editing the MMDocumentTypes.xml file (the file type WAS in that file), adding to the Preferences-->File Types/Editors (I can add the extension, but when I try to choose Dreamweaver CC as the editor, I get an error "You cannot use Adobe Dreamweaver CC as an external editor. Please choose a different application."). When I right-click the file, I do not see an "Open With" option, only "Open". Does anyone know of another trick that could make Dreamweaver CC more than an HTML editor for Mac? I cannot us CF Builder - no approval for loading the extra files server-side to use that IDE.

Hyperlinks from my MSWord files suddenly don't work because "/FirefoxHTML\Shell\Open\Command" has somehow been added to the end of each URL.

When I click to open the hyperlink in my Word file, the message I get in Firefox is "The requested URL /submissions.htmlFirefoxHTML\Shell\Open\Command was not found on this server." When I delete that portion of the URL, the website opens fine. What can I do to make the hyperlinks work properly?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it, but it didn't work. The link information is written correctly on the MSWord page. But when I click on it and the Firefox tab opens, the page can't be found because "FirefoxHTML\Shell\Open\Command" has been added to the end of each URL. Might it help if I reset Firefox?

iPhoto is not a Photo Viewer. It's a Photo Manager and designed for looking after the files while you organise the Photos. It really works much better if you let it manage those files. If you use iPhoto you never go near those files because iPhoto is your start point for anything you want to do with your Photos - the point of the pplication.
You can run iPhoto in Referenced mode, where it does not copy the files to the Library, but I caution you that you are making life a lot more difficult for yourself by doing that.

How can you sort without adding all the music to iTunes?

I'm an older person and I don't get it. At first I just had a shuffle and I downloaded specific songs into iTunes that I liked. Then I upgraded. I loaded a whole bunch of cd's into various libraries at various times on an external hard drive. Now, I have a ton of music and would love an easy way to organize it! There are lots of duplicates and lots of songs I just don't like. The trouble is, I haven't figured out how to just see a list of all the songs and sort and delete from the list. I have to open a library and then I get a bunch of file folders of an album or two. Then I have to open the album to see the songs. If I forget what the song sounds like and I click on it to play it, the album goes automatically into iTunes. I don't have enough room on my pc for all that music to go right into iTunes. Do you get my question?? Can you help me?

When you play a song with iTunes, it automatically gets added to the library, as you noticed.
If you just want to play the song so you can decide whether to keep or delete it, use another player. You may already have Windows Media Player on your machine. If not you can download Winamp.
When you are done sorting, add the ones you want into your iTunes library

But, I want to make sure that we are together on the details. This is my understanding of what you have written. Please review and let me
know if I am misinterpreting anything that you have written.
You have a video created in Windows Movie Maker.
How did you output the video from Windows Movie Maker...wmv or mp4, what was the frame size and frame rate of that export?
Next you import that video into Premiere Elements 12 (can we assume that this is on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit?)
From what you wrote, you have applied a pan and zoom effect to your video in Premiere Elements.
Now you go to export the Premiere Elements 12 Timeline content with your video with the pan and zoom applied.
But, the pan and zoom effect is not seen in playback of the export.
Is all of the above correct so far?
If so....we are going to need some more details from you...
a. What is the project preset that you or the project are setting to match the properties of the video coming from Movie maker? See Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Rate, and Pixel Aspect Ratio even if the fields look grayed out.
b. Are you applying the pan and zoom effect with the Pan and Zoom Tool, fx Effects Presets, or keyframing the Scale (for Zoom) and
Position (for Pan) in the Motion Panel expanded?
c. What are you selecting as your export in Publish+Share/. Please give details...are you using default settings or customizing the export
setting under the Advanced Button/Video Tab and Audio Tab of the preset selected?
I am suspecting some sort of mismatch of your project settings or some problems with working with the Pan and Zoom tool. I need
your answers to help me help you. If I have written anything that you do not understand, please let me know. I will re-write if necessary
so that we are in sync to resolve the issue.

Excise Duties should be added to the material cost

Hi all,
Here my Client place comes under excise exception. Here they are not going to avail excise credit. Also there is no utilization. If the material is procured from outside then the vendor will charge the excise amount as he comes under excisable place. So in this case my client wants to track the excise duties paid on the materials and they want the register updation also. Meanwhile they want the excise duties to be added on the Material cost. So I have maintained J1ID settings for the materials & vendors also I have maintained FV11. Here in this case the excise duties are not adding up to material cost.
For Ex: I am procuring a Material ABC from a Vendor. My PO price will be 100.
Qty=1EA
PO Price=100
BED=16
Ecess=0.32
SEcess=0.16
In Normal case my Inventory cost of the material will be 100.
In this case my client wants to be 116.48 should be the material price and at the same time the 16,0.32&0.16 should post to the respective CENVAT Clearing account at the time of MIGO & MIRO.
Can anyone please suggest me how to handle this issue?

As i understood that your plant is in the area which is under Tax exempted. See you have two option from excise point of view.
1. Either mantain the conditions through FV11 and call the same in your PO through Tax code and country combination.
Mantain the J1ID and manatain material chapter id combination material type and the no of gr and credit allowed it will hit your excise register in migo while you do GR as per the material type mantained in J1ID. But here you cant add the duty amount to be get added on Material Value.
2. You mantain the condtion in the FV11 go for key combination tax code and country, inventorised condition type for eg JMIP inv BED condtion mantain the desirable rate their which would be 14% from now. Create PO with the suitable tax code and mantain J1ID AND DO THE GR IT WILL GET ADDED TO YOUR MATERIAL VALUE.
Also if you cant avail the credit on the output material you cant accumalate credit in your register also accumulated credit can't be carry forward in the next financial year.

I've been making myself crazy over this one. I'm trying to print a complex multi-page "report" in Flex, but I keep getting this error every time I try to call FlexPrintJob.addObject(page):

Here is the basic scenario... I have created a new control I call a PrintVBox that extends the normal VBox control. After adding all of the children properly to the component, I wait for an update event (so that the heights of all the components are calculated) and then I call a custom method I have added to PrintVBox that "paginates" the control.
This pagination method essentially decides how many of the items in the VBox can fix on each page, and splits them up into separate pages. Here's a somewhat graphic example of what happens:

     [ Item 4 ]
     [ Item 5 ]
This single VBox with 5 items, after calling the paginate method becomes something like this:

               [ Item 2 ]
     **** VBox (page 2) ******
               [ Item 3 ]
               [ Item 4 ]
               [ Item 5 ]
So, what was once a single VBox with 5 UIComponents on it is now a VBox that contains two VBoxes, each the exact size of a printable page, one containing the first two items, the other containing the second two items.
In my example that I am working on, my PrintVBox that I have created uses a Repeater to create about 20 HBoxes on the page. I then call
myFlexPrintJob.start()
to show the print dialog and get the user's parameters. I then pass the chosen print height and width to the PrintVBox control and call the paginate method, which creates pages of the desired width/height. I have tested this part thoroughly and displayed the resulting PrintVBox on the screen and it paginates successfully and all is well. After paginate, it has created 3 page VBoxes each holding some of those 20 items.
I then iterate thru PrintVBox.getChildren() array, in this case which is the three VBox pages, and I call:
myFlexPrintJob.addObject(page);
for each one. Each one errors out with the above error. The error is down in the PrintJob code, which is part of the Flash framework and I cannot step through it. I have no indication of why the page can't be added to the print job. Is there a reason this is happening?? Does it have to do with the Repeater that originally created the 20 HBoxes, even though I have now moved those HBoxes down onto separate pages? I'm just so confused here.
I can probably post the entire code chunk if someone really wanted it. I'm currently testing it as an AIR application using a big tester XML data object on the repeater, so that I didn't need a database and such to create the control and test printing. If someone really wants to see what I'm doing, let me know.

I am currently having the same problem as yours... I created my own printing classes that do all crazy calculation to figure out page breaks and stuff... everything goes well until the point I want to add these pages to the printJob. I get same error?

Hi, if this is in regards to your library simply open up itunes and do the following steps:
Click File
Scroll down to "show duplicates"
A list will then appear of your duplicate song titles.
Be sure to CAREFULLY review each song to make sure it is a duplicate ( as I have some music that is the same song but live, acoustic etc...)
Proceed to manually delete each song from the list and leave alone any song that you wish to keep.
