Additional Security option of 'Unlocked Period' mode for Tablets & Mobiles

Currently Tablets & Mobiles have screen locking 'Security' feature which provides us two options of 'Pattern' or 'PIN'.
with an additional option of 'Unlock period' - during this pre-configured time period the product would automatically switch to 'Unlocked' mode. I stumbled upon this as a personal requirement which has a potential to become a feature in Xperia Tablets & mobiles........
Tablets are usually lying at home and seldom carried as mobiles.
Kids love to play their daily dose of games on them.
However as a parent we usually tend to restrict this gaming activity for 30 or 60 min/day by having a password (pin/pattern) in place.
The problem here is parents need to unlock the tablet and give it to the kids,
in the absence of the parents it cannot be done unless we share the password.... which defies the whole purpose of having a password. Benefits: This would definitely benefit the kids and also restrict the overall usage of a product keeping both parents & kids happy....

I don't know but there might be apps on Google Play that enables this. I will however forward this internally as feedback.

How do you add additional resolution options in the display settings for the MacbookPro?

I am using a Dell external monitor with my 2013 MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch. The resolution is 1900x1200 which is not one of the display selections for an external monitor in the Macbook settings. How do I update the display settings to support this monitor?

I'm newbies in oracle apex mobile app.
I would like to develop a page like http://scrum-it-demo.ti8m.ch:8080/project/ and i have no idea how to start my development.
Can anyone advice on it, how to do or show me an example to do it?
My page must contain 2 column. Column A (with scrollbar) will use to show data list. Column B will use to display the result page based on selected value on column A.
How can i do to only refresh column B when user selected on column A? Selected value on Column A must be highlighted.
I would like to grouped column A in "Region 1" and column B in "Region 2"

Revolve 810 G1 Unlock Computer when in Tablet Mode. Press CTRL-ALT-DEL or Windows Security Button

1. I have an Revolve 810 G1
Running Windows 7 Pro (64 Bit).
When I change the screen to Tablet Mode
(Folding tablet over keyboard and using as tablet).
I lock my computer.
2. What to know how to unlock without having to Open back up and use the CTL-Alt-DEL keys.
When Locked screen shows: Press CTRL-ALT-DEL or use the Windows Security Button to unlock this computer.
I would like to use the Windows Button on the bottom of the screen
(One Used in Windows 8 to change between Desktop and Metro) to Unlock screen And bring up on screen keyboard to put in my password.
This is probably how it should work, but it does not work.
Even bringing up the onscreen keyboard via the blue power button On the screen to Ease Of Access does not work.
The CLT-ALT-DEL on the on screen keyboard will not unlock the screen.
P.S.
Where is that Windows Security Button when you need it?

If you are using Windows 7 (not Windows 8), you should be able to touch the Ease of Access button at the lower left of the screen, then select Type without the keyboard (On-screen keyboard). When the on-screen keyboard pops-up, press CTRL, then ALT, then DEL. You should get a password prompt; the on-screen keyboard will stay visible unless and until you close it.

If you have a credit card on file on top of your gift card then it is asking you to confirm the security code for the card, which for a Visa or MasterCard is 3 digits located on the back, or AMEX has 4 digits on the front. This happens just to ensure that you are the account holder, and would happen from time to time whether it was a free or paid app, even if you have a credit through your gift card. This doesn't mean that your credit card will be charged.

Additional payment options for Family Sharing I wish....

I was not aware that each purchase would be billed to my credit card regardless of my iTunes balance. I knew I would be paying for all purchases, but not being able to use my account balance to pay it is extremely annoying. Prior to Family Sharing being available all their devices were under my id. So any gift cards they received were redeemed under my account. Now I have their money and can't use it to buy their things.
My mistake for not following every link on the Family Sharing info page, but I read that I would be charged for purchases. I thought it would be the same way as any purchase I made (balance, then credit card).....

There should be an option for:
1) those who have a credit card be able to use it if they aren't on the "ask to buy" restriction. This includes both adults and other teens.
2) as the Organizer--give me a choice on how I want to pay for the purchases. If i want to use my own balance, I should be allowed to.
3) if this is how it's going to stay, then I should have the option as the organizer to transfer my balance to individual family sharing members as I see fit. Or allow me to 'gift' them the balance. Right now you can't use iTunes balance to buy a 'gift'.

Can't install applications because iPod Touch is asking for additional security, but unable to save changes.

I can't install an application becouse the Apple Store is asking for additional security questions but the system is unable to save the security unswers provided.

i am having this exact problem, installing through itunes works fine but obviously i wont have itunes available when im out, its driving me mad i cant install anything because the third security question just stays highlighted blue and i cant select a question which obviously means i cannot continue to install....has ANYBODY got a solution please?

Where does oracle write if put the database in begin backup mode for LONG PERIODs. Lets say I issued a "ALTER DATABASE BEGIN BACKUP" command in a busy database and forgot about it for a long time.
I understand that when the DB IS IN BEGIN BACKUP MODE, "the database copies whole changed data blocks into the redo stream." (Page 503 of 11.1 backup and recovery guide). But the redo stream is limited by the number of online redologs. After some time redologs also wont be sufficient for the changed data values after a begin backup is issued. I understand that there are archived redologs.
Lets say there are 2 redolog groups in this database and Lets say 10 archive log files got generated since the ALTER DATABASE BEGIN BACKUP was issued.
When i finally issue the "ALTER DATABASE END BACKUP" command, will Oracle sync the datafiles with the changed data blocks reading the data from these 10 archived log files ? What happens if i delete these archive redologs from the archive log destination. ??

then Oracle Database continues to write copies of data blocks in
this tablespace to the online redo logs, causing performance
problems. Also, you receive an ORA-01149 error if you try to shut

The redo stream is not limited by the number of of redo logs, only the volume of data. When a log fills up, it gets archived. If all the logs get filled up before the first one is finished archiving, the db will stall until the next redo becomes available. The only limit to archiving is disk space (and bandwidth if that is an issue, which it can be in some configurations).

You do not understand archive logs, read the concepts manual.

There is no password protect feature for Numbers on iPad.

Sorry for the late reply. First of all, thank you for uncovering an untested part of ServerDebug MBean. The Debug Mode for Security Realms currently works for fileRealm but doesnot work for alternate realms(e.g., LDAP realm). We're in the process of fixing this in the future releases(may not be Beta Refresh but will definitely be fixed in GA). I'm attaching a working config.xml(with fileRealm) and the only change you've to make to your config.xml is

If you're debugging a fileRealm then I belive, this serves your purpose. But if you're debugging a Security Realm other than fileRealm and this is blocking you, plz let us know so that this will be fixed with a higer priority. Thanks again for uncovering this. weblogic.logging.LogOutputStreams are active...
With the 5.1.0 version of the server everything works fine.

Settings>General>Passcode Lock...enter your passcode, then: Turn Passcode Off.
