ADF TreeTable - How to hide Disclose/Expand icon for leaf node

We are using ADF Tree Table in our application.
Whenever a node is expanded - all the child nodes have the disclose/expand icon along with it.
But, we don't want to show the disclose/expand icon if it is a leaf node.
How can this be done?
JDeveloper Version: JDeveloper 11.1.1.3

I have a hierarchical tree based on single POJO based class exposed as data control.
(i.e) a node can have many levels.
Can you specify how we can use the folder icon for this - Can you please provide some detailed information?

You can use a switcher (Icon and messageStyledText) or SPEL (rendered true or false) to resolve this issue. You can add a additional attribute in your VO which controls the SPEL rendered property of the icon or provides a case value for the switcher.

AFAIK the system menu can´t be hidden - because people won´t be able to log off (but by using the X in the right upper corner). Additionally it contains additional transactions (own data etc.) that users should be able to change.

Hide disclosure icon for some nodes

Hi,
For some nodes with children, I would like hide the
disclosure icon; for some not.
How can I do that?
I tried disclosure._visible = false in the function
setValue(node, state) of my custom TreeRow Renderer extended from
mx.controls.treeclasses.TreeRow. It did not work though.
For other embedded moviclip in a tree, it seems I can
control, i.e. nodeIcon, cell.

AdvancedDataGrid: display disclosure icon for empty nodes

Hi,
I have an AdvancedDataGrid with HierarchicalData that will be loaded lazily. Initialy, the tree displays only the parent nodes. Since the nodes' children are not loaded yet, no disclosure icons are rendered. Is there a way to force the tree to also render the disclosure icon for empty nodes, so that I can load a node's children when it is expanded?
I have tried looking at TreeDataDescriptors, but AdvancedDataGrid or HierarchicalData don't seem to support this.
I also looked into extending AdvancedDataGridGroupItemRenderer, but fail to see where I can put logic to render the disclosure icon.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Anyone know how to create/use particular icons for stack icons?

I currently have the following folders as some of my individual stacks in my dock.
Pictures
Applications
Music
Movies
Home
Now if I right-click on any of them and select 'Display as Stack' then the first file in the folder gets used as the dock icon for that stack folder. So obviously this could change from time to time as more files get added to folders.
Does anyone know how I can use a particular picture/icon to remain as the icon for a specific stack please?
So for example I would like to drag the 'Downloads' folder down to the dock and have it as a stack. But it never uses the circular green icon as its icon when I select 'Display as Stack'. Instead simply displays the stack as a blue folder with an arrow pointing down. Anyone know how I can set it to the circular green icon please?

yes, you need to apply a custom icon to your Downloads folder using the link I gave you. then that icon will display in the dock instead of the blue folder icon. there are lots of places to get custom icons like Interface lift

How do i make an icon for a new genre

I'd like to create a new genre in iTunes for my collection, and would like to create an "icon" similiar to the ones that are plugged into iTunes already. I know if there isn't one it will default to an album cover. Is there a way of doing this? I want to make a genre for 'meditation', which I know how to do...I just want it to display like the other genres.

iTunes comes with a limited number of pre-defined genre images aka badges. Some of these images are associated with more than one genre, e.g. Alternative is connected to Alternative, Alternative & Punk, Alternative Country, Alternative Folk, Alternative Metal, Alternative Pop/Rock, Alternative Punk, Alternative Rock, AlternRock, Punk, Punk Rock, Punk/Folk, Punk/Folk/Reggae and no doubt many others that aren't represented in my library. The dance image is linked to Dance, House, Techno & Trance or genres begining with those words.
If there is no default icon for a particular genre then itunes will display a cover from one of the albums with that genre. If you run your mouse pointer slowly across the image from one side to the other it will change to display the covers of each of the albums in that genre in turn. You can right/option click on any of these to Set Default Grid Artwork and that image will then be used to represent that genre. Use Clear Default Grid Artwork to reset things.
If you want to add your own custom genre badges, using artwork that is not in your albums, then place the images you want to use in the folder C:\Program Files\itunes\iTunes.Resources and edit the file C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.Resources\Genres.plist using something like Notepad++ to connect the required genres to your new images.
