AE product template to create multiple product

I have recently created a product video template in AE for a client and now the client wants to use that template to create around 100 different product videos. I am new to AE and this is a little over my head, so I thought I was ask you guys if you know a way to import different data points in from a file(or something) i.e. price, product image into the template to create all the different product videos without having to do this manually?

Check the "Comps from Spreadsheet" script and similar stuff from AEScripts, but generally there is no 100% automated way of doing such stuff. Differently cut out images will require changes in placement, varying text length will need manual mangling and so on. If there's a hundred products every week and it gets long in the tooth, you should contact one of the scripters to create some custom stuff for you/ your client, otherwise 100 "simple" comps isn't really that much when you think about it. Even "simple" projects in my world rarely have less than 50...

Hello sir,
yes, ofcourse, for the finished material have the BOM with some semifinished productes which are to be produced .
In co02 , we can go through the collective production order.
One more thing is that, in the multiple production order date(scheduling date) shows in forward(future dates).
For ex:09-05-2010.

Can I create multiple presentation templates against one content item?

I want to create multiple presentation templates that publish the same content item in different ways.
As far as I can tell from the publisher GUI this is not possible.
Am I missing something?

It may not be feasible to have two PT associated with a DT technically. But there is a workaround / solution for your requirement. thats what i meant in my prev post.
To accomplish your requirement in a simple fashion try doing this
1) copy the contents of all PT, DT and Content Items with all its folders in the _NEWS (portlet templates) folder to a new folder called 'PortletA' (or) make use of the News portlet template to create a portlet
2) Now modify the DT's and PT's according to your requirement.
3) Create a portlet using "Published Content" webservice and configure the 'Main' to your portlet.
4) if you create and pblish new article, you can find two html's are getting published.
If this doesn't resolve your requirement,
Create two sets of Dt & Pt's. In the article PT, try to add the other Pt as "related items to publish", so on publishing one the other one gets published.

Creating multiple page templates!

I'm trying to create multiple page styles as one template to work in the same way as the Apple supplied templates.
I can create all my page styles as one Pages document and save as a template but the finished template doesn't work in the same way as the Apple templates do e.g. I can not insert pages to a document created from my template. I can only insert sections. When inserting a new section I only have a choice of adding a blank or a text page and not choose one of my created page styles.
I think I'm missing something quite fundemental! I know it can be done because I've downloaded a template from the iCommunity exchange and that worked perfectly.
Any ideas folks?

Before saving your template, you need to "capture" all of the pages that you want to have available to insert.
Format > Advanced > Capture Pages...

How to create multiple output files using TrAX?

I am new in this field. I'm trying to create multiple xml output files using TrAX. I have to parse a xml source file and output it to multiple xml files. My problem is that it only creates one output file and puts all the parsed data there. When i use saxon and run xsl and xml files, it works fine and creates multiple files...it has something to do with my java code...Any help is greatly appreciated.

Saxon has specific extensions. In this case it is <xsl:document>. That looks like a standard XSLT element, but it actually isn't. The history behind it is this: There was a proposal to create a new version of XSLT, called XSLT 1.1. One of the new features of this version was to be this xsl:document element. The author of the Saxon product, Michael Kay, is one of the people on the W3C committee directing the evolution of XSLT, so he upgraded his product to implement XSLT 1.1. But then the committee decided to drop XSLT 1.1 as a recommendation. So that left Saxon in the strange position of implementing a non-existent extension to XSLT.
The other outcome of this process was that XSLT (1.0) does not have a way of producing more than one output file from an input file. And so the short answer to your question is "Trax can't do that." However, XSLT 2.0 will be able to do that, although it is not yet a formal W3C recommendation, and when it does become one it will take a while before there are good implementations of it. (I predict that Saxon will be the first good implementation.)
One of the problems with XML and XSLT is that what you knew a year ago is probably obsolete now, because of all the evolution going on. So being new in the field is not a disadvantage, unless you get stung by reading obsolete tutorials or magazine articles.

How do i create multiple databases on the same unix box?

Hello experts.
Please send me some guidelines on how to create multiple databases on the same unix box and how to configure their startups including listeners.
Please also, list me the possible precautions to takes especially if the existing database is a production one!

How to create multiple Purchase Order using the same document number?

HI Friends,
I m in a product which extracts data from SAP and stored in Access database.
For that,while i extracting Purchase Order from the Demo Database (SBODemo_US)for OEC Computers,the same DocNum is used for several Purchase Order using Index Line numbers.
eg:
DocNum for Purchase Order1 -->3000   0 (Index)
DocNum for Purchase Order2 -->3000   1 (Index)
    But i can't create multiple Purchase Order using same DocNum manually in SAP B1,Could anybody please help me <b>to create a Purchase Order using same DocumentNumber?</b>

Hi,
The problem statement is not quite clear to me.
As far as I understand your statement, I think you want to club multiple orders into one purchase order using the index incrementally.
For this I think once you have created the first purchase order, open the purchase order in edit mode the second time and append the new line items.
If I am getting you wrong please explain the problem statement in more detail.

Look at POI at http://jakarta.apache.org/poi/ for an open source library to write Excel with Java.
If you just want to produce a one-off, you can save an Excel workbook as XML and look at that to see how the sheets are produced in XML.
There are also commercial products like Formula One that provide support for reading and writing directly to/from Excel from Java.

How to create multiple Contracts using BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI?

I m trying to create multiple service contracts using BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI. I can create single transaction in one go but program is failing to create multiple service contracts in one go. It does create the multiple contracts but messes up with products and product related information. As when there is same product in two different contracts, the record in item internal table has same values for both contracts as we are not passing header guid to the intem related internal table 'ITEM', 'SCHEDULELINE' etc.
How to use this BAPI to create mulitple service contracts in one go?

How to create multiple folder levels of connections

Is it possible to create multiple levels of folders in the Connections tab. For example, I have 3 projects and each projects have dev, qa, prod. The documentations that come with sqlDeveloper2.1 only tells how to create 1 level of folder.
Please share your suggestion if any.

Creating multiple mailboxes on Exchange 2007 fails

Hi All,
We have a problem to create multiple mailboxes simultaneously on Exchange 2007 using the OIM Exchange connector. Only one of the mailboxes is created when multiple powershell scripts are launched at the same time. This problem only occurs in the production environment and not on the Exchange 2007 test server. Therefore it's likely to be an Exchange 2007 server setting causing the other powershell processes and mailboxes to fail. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

have you managed to solve this issue? we have a similar problem when updating some exchange mailbox variables through powershell cmds via OIM. if we run several cmds simultaneously, or right after each other, only the first one is run. tried googling it, but no luck so far.

Yes you can create multiple workspaces for the same account.
There are two ways to do this:
On the home page for Operational Insights, click Sign Up (rather than Sign In).
You will be presented with a screen to create a new workspace.
In the Azure portal, you can click +New -> App Services -> Operational Insights.
You can then create a new workspace
In both cases the workspace will be linked to your existing account.
In the Operational Insights portal you can switch between workspaces by clicking on the workspace name in the top right of the page (near the Settings (cog) icon.

How to create multiple associated record types in a single batch

I know that when inserting records in a batch, if one of the records fail, the entire batch is rolled back. But is there a similar feature when inserting records of different types that are associated with each other?
E.g.
From a web application, the user fills in a form for Contracts and Contract Products and submits to CRM.
The form will first create the parent object (Contract). After this has been created and the rowID for this new Contract object obtained, it can proceed to create multiple Contract Product objects, all tied to that Contract rowID.
But if one of the Contract Products fails during insertion, the batch will only rollback the Contract Products. It will not rollback the main Contract parent. Is there any way to accomplish this?

Well think of it I believe the scenario is too bird viewed hence the solution can't be exact.
But thinking of a possible solution every time a child operation fails have a catch block where you you go back to system if the parent needs to be deleted if yes, call Delete Method on the parent.
Note: Make sure that the decision on whether or not the parent record needs to be deleted will depends on the question "Does Parent Record already has several other children associated to it or not"

RE: Request not created; multiple initiators

We have Access Control 5.3 SP 8 installed. We have CUP configured and in production and are now working on configuring ERM. When we try to approve a role, I get this message: Request not created; multiple initiators [PROBLEM REQUESTS, RE_POS_APPROVER] found
The initiator "PROBLEM REQUESTS" is a workflow=CUP type initiator, so I don't understand why an ERM workflow would try to use it as an initiator. I cannot change this initiator to exclude ERM because it does not recognize ERM request types (only CUP requests). I want the approval to use RE_POS_APPROVER initiator. The PROBLEM REQUESTS initiator is used for our escape routes when an approver is not found.
I appreciate your help.

I don't understand why it would find multiple initiator for different workflow types. If PROBLEM REQUESTS initiator is only used for escape route then you can make that particular path as detour path so it won't need initiator. Once you make the path associated with PROBLEM REQUESTS initiator, you can delete or change the initiator so it won't match.
