After 10.5.7 update some apps do not recognize keyboard

After I updated to 10.5.7 the game Battlefield 2142 thinks my keyboard is set up for Dvorak. I only use English QWERTY. All of my System Preferences are set properly. I have gotten the game to use the correct keyboard after fiddling with things, but I don't know how I did it or how to repeat it. Every time I reboot and start the game it goes back Dvorak. Any suggestions?

Also, after I added a second user, it required me to enter my password in Dvorak. This is a new iMac 24 onto which I transfered files from an iMac 20 that once used Dvoark as its primary input format. However, that computer was switched to the US format long before the new iMac 24 was purchased.
A strange coincidence is that the iMac 20 also went through a period where the second user account required Dvorak format for the password even though that user account only used US format. Any ideas?

Double clicked button and checked autorotate is unlocked.

TS1702 After last iPhone 3GS update my apps do not update.

I believe one or two might have updated. Now, it looks like
all the apps needing updating are "updating," and never finishing

ADDED INFORMATION to my question. What is happening is that when I look ot the apps update screen there are always nine apps and each is shown as updating. None of the nine ever updates, they simply stop in same status. When a new update comes along, it is shown correctly as needing updating and it will close normally after I update it, leaving the other nine still listed as updating. Any idea on how to take care of this problem? Thanks.

If you still have the apps on the iPod you can delete them from the computer and then transfer the apps from the iPod t the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
Next would be to look in your computer backups file for a version of the apps that works with the iOS on the iPod.
Otherwise you are out of luck.

Delete those apps that are not under your Apple ID and re-download them using your Apple ID.

Try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.appstore folder to the Trash.
For Lion v10.7x: To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library
If you still have problems updating your apps, if you have anti virus software installed, disable that.
Try turning off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy
If you have an app called Little Snitch installed, that can prevent apps from updating.

When trying to update some apps I get "This item is free in the store". It asks me to enter to authenticate, and then it repeats the process.

Have you the latest version of iTunes installed on your computers? Sometimes it is a matter of agreeing to the (new) terms and conditions. If all else fails, uninstall iTunes and then re-install it.
