Airdrop iPad/iPhone vs macbook pro 2013

Hi all
I have read a lot of discussion but I haven't found a solution.
I have :
- iPhone 5S - iOS 8.1.2
- iPad mini 2 (Retina) - iOS 8.1.2
- Macbook Pro early 2013 (Retina) - Yosemite 10.10.1
Handoff works on the all devices. So I am able to receive calls/SMS on iPad or Macbook
Continuity also works fine on the all devices for me.
My problem is Airdrop. Airdrop works between mu iPhone and iPad without any problem. But the macbook doesn't see my iPhone/iPad and also iPhone/iPad doesn't see my Macbook. All the devices are on the same WIFI and also the bluetooth is on (I use magic-mouse as well).
I have tried to delete some bluetooth configuration files but with no success. Also I have tried to sign out/sign in from iCloud account on the all devices with no success.
Do you have a any idea what could I try?

the 2013 MacBook Pros are Retina models; the 2012 MacBook Pros could be either Retina or non-Retina. You can check on the Apple Web site to see what the differences are between a non-Retina 13-inch Mid 2012 model and a Retina 13-inch Late 2013 model.

If home sharing isn't enabled on the Apple TV, you will need the aluminium remote that came with it to do so.

I have my ipad, iphone, and macbook pro all synced together. I receive all my emails on the macbook and iphone just fine, but don't receive all emails on my ipad. Some go to Trash because it says they're improperly formatted. What gives?

I receive all emails from senders in my address book in my Macbook Pro and iPhone, but some end up in Trash on my iPad, with the message, "This message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted. Ask the sender to send it again using a different format or email program. text/plain" They appear to be mainly from competing platforms, android, etc. Is there a workaround for this problem?

If you want to use multiple devices - move to imap, I would even say "exchange", but Google does not support free exchange anymore, since January of that year. So Ironically Icloud or Hotmail would be my choices right now.

Sending files to and from an older Mac
If a Mac you're using with AirDrop was manufactured before 2012, you can send and receive files with other Mac computers.
On the sending Mac, click "Don't see who you're looking for" in the AirDrop window.
Select the option to "Search for an Older Mac."
On the receiving Mac, open a new Finder window and click AirDrop in the sidebar.
Tips for sending files
Make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your Mac and your iOS device. Although you don't have to connect to a specific network, Wi-Fi needs to be on to send and receive files using AirDrop.
Move your devices closer together. AirDrop is designed to work within a range of approximately 30 feet (9 meters). If you need to send a file to someone farther away, consider using File Sharing, iCloud, or email instead.
If you're using a firewall on your Mac, you won't be able to receive AirDrop files if you have enabled "Block all incoming connections" in the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences.
Make sure your devices meet system requirements for AirDrop.

To see if your Mac works with AirDrop, make sure you’re in the Finder by clicking the desktop (the background area of your screen), or by clicking the Finder icon in the Dock. In order to transfer files between a Mac and and an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
your iOS device needs to include a lightning connector
your iOS device needs iOS 7 or later installed
your Mac needs to be a 2012 or later model with OS X Yosemite installed
Your Mac and iOS device both need bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on. You do not have to be connected to a specific Wi-Fi network.
To transfer files between two Mac computers, you need the Mac models listed below with Wi-Fi turned on and OS X Lion or later installed.
MacBook Pro (Late 2008 or newer)*
MacBook Air (Late 2010 or newer)
MacBook (Late 2008 or newer)*
iMac (Early 2009 or newer)
Mac Mini (Mid 2010 or newer)

*The MacBook Pro (17-Inch Late 2008) and the white MacBook (Late 2008) do not support AirDrop.
For help identifying your Mac, choose About This Mac from the Apple menu. You can refer to the Apple Support website to find out if your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch includes a lightning connector.

Connection ipad/iphone to macbook pro takes 30min (at least)!

my ipad air and iphone 5c (latest updated) do not connect to my macbook pro (os x 10.9.4 mavericks).
if i really really want to connect them i have to wait at least 30min!

HP Officejet 6600 - wireless printing works with PC, but not iPad, iPhone or MacBook Pro

I just purchased a new Officejet 6600. Plugged it in, set up on the wireless network. Turned on my iPhone and printed with no problem. I then used the setup disc to setup on my windows desktop. It works beautifully. However, now we can't get the printer to print docs from iPad, iPhone, or Mac Book Pro. The printer shows in the print cue, says it is printing, and nothing. Installed on my Toshiba Laptop. No problem. HELP!! Very frustrating. Old HP printer worked on the wireless network with all of these devices.

I recommend using the following document to get the printer printing from the Windows PC again.

This will guide you through the troubleshooting steps necessary to resolve the issue.

iPhone 5 or later
iPad (4th generation)
iPad mini
iPod touch (5th generation)

I seem to have at least two, and maybe four, iCloud accounts, across my iPhone, my iPad and my MacBook Pro. Can I combine them into one iCloud account?

I seem to have at least two, and maybe four, iCloud accounts, across my iPhone, my iPad and my MacBook Pro. Can I combine them into one iCloud account? I have been able to log into what appears to be three of the four iCloud accounts I have. Two of them seem to be remarkably similar, and one appears to be only for my MacBook.I think I know which one my iPhone is backing up to, as I successfully restored from a back-up last week. The fourth iCloud account I can't access via password or security questions. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Why does iTunes SUCK??
1) Many items greyed out in the menu bar, for well over 2 years, maybe more!
2) I Can't drag more than one piece of content from your iTunes library to any device (iPhone, iPad)
If you do it gets stuck for HOURS and HOURS in "Preparing To Update" and the little activity circle never completes, ever!!
I used to be able to drag over 1000 tunes, movies, etc. go have breakfast come back and it would all be on my device!!
Can't do it anymore, one song at a time, maybe an album at a time, or one movie, and that is it!!
If you do a 2nd item the other items stop loading and never continue!!
This is so BAD, I don't understand how they don't have this fixed yet!!
Please tell me I am not the only one!!
...and If I am tell me how to fix it!

If you purchased Lion for your iMac, just log into the Mac App Store from your MacBook using the Apple ID under which you purchased Lion and go to the Purchases page. You will be able to download and install Lion there.

The only place you get get Lion is from the Mac App Store. If you found some other site, that was an illegal copy and almost certainly tied to someone else's Apple ID and hence unusable by you. If the link was just to the Mac App Store, see above.
As to the problem with synchronization to iCloud, that's not a 10.6 question, so I'd suggest you take up that specific issue in either the Lion or iCloud forums, providing full details, and someone there can probably help you sort things out.

As Bob says, any iMap service can do this. GMail can, iCLoud mail can too.
Both of these can be used with Mail on any device.

Getting photos to iPad 1 and iPhone from macbook pro with icloud.

Icloud seems fine - except my photos are not showing up on IPad 1 or iPhone. Macbook pro is running Lion 10.7.2 and the other two devices have iOS 5.0.1. I've checked all three have photos switched 'on' for icloud.
What am I doing wrong?

Handoff won't work between iPad Air and Macbook Pro

I'm trying to get handoff to work between my iPad Air and Macbook Pro (Late 2013). I have tried turning all devices on and off again, turning the handoff on and off again and turning iPhone Cellular Calls on and off again on both devices.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

This fixed your connectivity problem. However, I don't think this has actually fixed any problem.
I think this Handoff feature is buggy. I have three devices -- a MBP, an iPad Mini, and an iPhone 5 -- and I have done "the dance" you've described and only one of my devices, the iPhone, is now Handoff capable. The iPad Mini still doesn't support Handoff.
I think there is a problem in the software and that all of this signing in, signing out, powering on, powering off, is just getting the devices to clean themselves up so that stuff can start from a fresh slate and attempt to work together again...sort of. It's not necessarily guaranteed.

We are just users, so we cannot tell you the answer. AirDrop is not designed to transfer files between an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and a Mac yet.
