Yesterday morning, my email stopped working. At first it was my exchange email (which just disappeared), and then my POP3 email kept doing a "force close" routine. I called the tech support people at Verizon, and then directed me to do a factory reset - not a problem, I've done it before. Long story short, my email is now functioning, BUT I get no notifications from either email, and it does not check for email unless I go into each one and "refresh." The notification settings are on just like I used to have them, and it should be working, but it just doesn't. Any advice?

Right now there are issues with the Calendar/Email Sync process. I have tried the following to resolve the issues I'm seeing.
* Try temporarily disabling the Calendar Sync, if you have it enabled. This should stop the Email app from closing.
* If disabling the Calendar app doesn't help with the Email closing, try deleting the Email account and recreating it, if you haven't done so already.
* For the Notifcation sounds that aren't working, do you have any Sound Apps installed? If so, try uninstalling them temporarily to see if it helps.
We are waiting on Android 2.2 update to help, and there should be an LG update as well in the not to distant future.

You will have to reformat the HDD in 'Disk Utility' Application to either one strictly for Macs or one that PCs can also utilize. That is your choice.
The connection is dependent upon the enclosure the the HDD is in. If it has a Firewire port, all to the good because Firewire data transfer rates are about twice as fast as USB @. Your MBP will have that capability. Otherwise its USB 2.
If you are anticipating installing Windows on your MBP, you will have to partition the HDD which also can be done in 'Disk Utility'.
When you format the HDD in 'Disk Utility', it will erase all of the data on that HDD. If you want to save anything, back it up first.

No email again

Whats going on with icloud, no emails again!! I'm in London and over the past few weeks have been getting intermittent service and today 4th Oct nothing again. No email on any devices and again when logging into i cloud via web browser nothing, I have even set a new email address using the new domain @icloud.com and sent a test message and still nothing. An explanation from apple would be nice! Geoff.

Put in a request for another verification e-mail to be sent to you.
Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.

Carrier guys said that everything is fine. I just have to try inserting the sim again just to ensure proper sim position.

I Got to Have Email Again on The iPhone 3G with iCloud But No Contacts

Hi. I have email working again on the iPhone 3G by creating a new iCloud account but it only has email unlike with the older account that was on MobileMe which had the option to turn ON the Contact, Calendar, etc. How can I add those options again on the new iCloud account I have on this iPhone? If I can have those options again maybe I can sync the contacts to the latest iTunes running Mountain Lion 10.8.2 so later my contacts and everything could be synced onto a new iPhone 5- it's sad and it makes it very difficult or impossible that Apple just left the older iPhones without no way of syncing it's contacts and other things form the iPhone 3G (It runs the latest firmware limited to this iPhone).

To update your phone requires using the latest version of iTunes, on your computer, as well as Internet access. The update to iOS 5.0 or higher is an erase/restore deal, so you not only have to make sure all of the content, currently on your phone, is on your computer and accessible, you need to update iTunes first, have Internet access, then update your phone. There is no way around this fact. You could go to an Apple store or use another computer, but you run the risk of losing all of your data it you do that.

Email again

So....I have not been able to access my email since the so called update occured in late March. I did not use yahoo (that I know of) but signed in through verizon.net. (I foolishly thought that would prevent issues as updates occured).
I have changed my user name and password but still can't even locate email.
Since it's been over 2 weeks, I wonder...is verizon going to credit my account for lack of service? Oh yeah, I've tried to call customer service several times and after over 30 minutes of waiting a rep comes to the line only to inform me that they can't help me, I got transterred to the wrong representative.
I switched to verizon 3 years ago for better customer service, at this rate, comcast is looking good!

It looks like your email account had been locked for too many login attempts. I unlocked it and created a temp password for you. I will send it to you thru personal message. Keep in mind it will expire in 24 hrs from the date/time on this message. If you need to have it reset again, you can call 1-800-VERIZON.
In the future, when logging in on Verizon Central, you don't need to add the @verizon.net to your username. Also if you have trouble on Verizon Central, you can login on webmail.verizon.net where you do have to add the @verizon.net to your username.

Kicked Off Email Again and Again and Again

I am constantly kicked off email. I can not read my emails. Constanly asked to signin again and again. I called verizon and they said they would contact me and resolve the issue. Has been several days and I do not even get an explaination. I have a business account (not residential) and still I have no access and no call and no explaination from verizon representatives as to the problem. Something as simple as getting emails (I would think) should be simple to resolve.

Server resending emails again

Please could someone tell me why I would be getting emails resent from when we originally started our email service with BC right up until today. Last week this happened to my GM now today I'm getting all emails sent to me again.

Stop IOS devices pulling in read emails again.

HI there, not the best title question 'll grant you!
IS there anyway, short if delete from server, of stopping IOS devices pulling through emails that have been read neither the desktop Mac or other IOS devices?
I Have a paid Hotmail (Outlook) account that I've had for, probably, 20 years or more and really don't want to have to change my email address. I have all my emails going back to whenever (that I want saved) on the server so not sure how I can stop the problem.
It can amount to very many emails, typically,coming through onto the iPad that I've already read on my iPhone or iMac so to tidy up I have to spend ages going through and manually 'deleting' them from the iPad. It's not unknow for. Those same emails to then be pulled in again.

This doesn't sound like a Firefox problem. You should try to consider, methodically, what you did before the problem occurred so that you can describe to someone exactly what occurred, and in what order.

Can a pdf form be emailed filled in and emailed again?

I have a client that would like a form that could be emailed to several different persons, progressively, so that each that received it could add something then forward to to the next until it was finally returned to the originator with all the comments on the form.
I am relatively new to creating interactive forms with acrobat but I cannot find anything that will allow this to happen short of submitting the form results to a database.
I would love to have some of those with more experience with acrobat forms to give me a suggestion.

I created a form from using Adobe Acrobat X Pro. Like you I assumed that I would be able to send the form out, someone would fill out the form and send it back to me or whoever needed it. Seems I was wrong. Not only can you not save a copy either for your records or to complete at a later time, you cannot email the form without losing the field content. This seems absolutely ridiculous that in this digital age, the only thing the recipient can do is complete the form, print it out and fax it... It took me a number of phone calls to Adobe's technical support line to find this out. An utter waste of time it seems and the most ridiculous of 'Tools' functions.
