ALV - Average in totals

I made an ALV and i want to have at the end of it the AVERAGE function instead of SUM .
Can i do this ?

Average versus Total RMS power

HI,
I have version 2.0 of Audition and am trying to figure out how Audition is calculating the Average versus Total RMS power values shown in the amplitude statistics window. The Help section describes the two values as
Average RMS Power Shows the average amplitude. This value reflects perceived loudness.
Total RMS Power Represents the total power of the entire selection.
But I'm looking for the details regarding how they are coming up with these numbers.

ALV Display - sub totals

hi gurus,
In my report program i have a monthly report displaying the data for that month.
1. Now in my ALV grid i want The SUB-TOTALS for the work center wise data for a field of the alv. there are many workcenters data in my report. So after the end of each work center , i want the subtotal of a calculated TAT field.
2. At the end of the report, I want the average TAT(field calculated by my report program) for that month.
So how can i make the coding for the above.
Iam a fresher to this field, so give me in detail.

hi,
I have four column in alv list.
material , qty , rate & amount.
now if i subsum on material then report should total on qty, amount and <b>average on rate column</b>. what should i assign to rate column in alv?

One more thing. What is the type of your percentage field? In my Z report, the type for the percentage field is of type DEC, Length 5 and Decimal Places 2.

How to Hide rows in ALV without affecting total sum at the end of table?

Hi,
I need some help in hiding particular rows in an ALV Grid without affecting the total sum at the end of the table. I am trying to hide the rows that have negative quantities, but I still need those values so that the user can still compute for the total sums. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I have 2 questions.
First, as you can see, I have 2 subtotal for 1.Rev eventhough 1.Rev actually only need one subtotal because there is no subgroup for 1.Rev. Is it possible to have only one subtotal for this 1.Rev but I still maintained 2 subtotal for 2.Cost because 2.Cost has subgroup?
My 2nd issue is I need to insert another row exactly below Subtotal FIELD1 (2.Cost) row like this:
Gross Margin
(Some formula)
This row does not come from any sub total. The problem is I can not just insert this column and put Gross Margin description in FIELD1 because I will have 3 row like below :
Gross Margin
(Formula)
Subtotal FIELD2 (blank)
(Formula) sub total
Subtotal FIELD1 (Gross Margin)
(Formula) sub total
Is there any way I can insert Gross Margin Row without creating new subtotal for it so it will only have one line in the ALV Grid table? Please help. Thank you.

I'm not posting this before I search everywhere and this is not the first time I post in this forum so I know what I should do before posting. If I miss something, maybe you can give me at least a hint whether it can be done or not.
This report that I am using is ALV Grid using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY function module and not OOP using dialog module. I never said I need sample code because I only want to know is there a way to do that using ALV Grid which until now I will say that SAP ALV grid has this limitation where you can not insert row without including it in the subtotal.
So, I would be very thankful if someone can give me some clarity on this thing and Vijay, if you really don't know what is the answer, I really appreciate if you can hold your self from making that kind of reply. It does not need experienced ABAP Consultant to write such remarks. Thanks.

ALV page break & Totals

Hi All,
I have a requirement to provide a Headcount of active employee for each benefit plan. I had extracted & populated the output table with the required fields and it needs to be printed in ALV grid with the total count of employee at benefit plan level.
For example:
Employee ID (P0002-PERID)...First Name (P0002-VORNA)...Personnel Area (P0001-WERKS)...Personnel Sub Area (P0001-WERKS)...Benefit Plan (P0377-BPLAN)...Start Date (P0377-BEGDA)...End Date (P0377-ENDDA)
The above fields are columns.
Each benefit plan should start in new page and the total (number of employee) in that plan at the end.
Please help me in acheiving the above requirement.

ALV grid sub-totals

Hi All,
      I have written a code to show sub totals in ALV.
But, is there any way by which I can show *Only the sub total
lines* and not the individual line items that form the sub total ?
e.g.:-

I have managed to get totals working with web dynpro ALV using code like this :

For total calculations...
lo_value->if_salv_wd_std_functions~set_aggregation_allowed( abap_true ).
lr_field = lo_value->if_salv_wd_field_settings~get_field( 'N_OF_DLRS' ).

Both Average and Totals for Cross Tab

Hi, can I have both a total and an average for a cross-tab report?
12/27/2009                    100                       200                       300
12/28/2009                    200                       300                       400
      Total                        300                        500                       700
    Average                    150                        250                       350

Look at the Total Wizard. You should be able select the right options to have totals at different level of the data. Also give us an example what you want to achieve.
