ALV Menu Bar

Hello Experts,
I am facing Problem in ALV to make my MENU BAR workable.
I have created ALV grid using container and class.
field catlog and populated that
I tried copying MENUBAR using TCode se41 form standard,
and bar is visible. but its not functioning.
I have used method set_table_for_first_display and REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY of class cl_gui_alv_grid to display data into grid.
Where do i need to pass the value of PF-STATUS.
So that i don't need to code for standard menubar that i have copied using Tcode SE41

Where did you copy the standard menu bar from?
Because just copying the menu bar does not automatically mean that the function codes behind it will work.
You will have to copy the the PBO (for setting at least the PF-status) and PAI module (for handling function codes for menu bar) as well.

  • Adding menu bar in ALV report

    hi,
    I have written an ABAP report using ALV . We need to add a button to the menu bar of the screen that appears after the report is run, not on the selection screen. And when report is executed user will choose for example STOCK then it has to go to the transaction(QA03).
    thanks in advance.
    Anu.

    Hi,
    Goto SE41, create a pf-status for your alv report program.
    On the next screen, click menu EXTRAS --> click option ADJUST TEMPLATES and select radiobutton LIST VIEWER --> you will get all standard buttons of alv in the pf-status.
    Delete the unwanted buttons and also you can add new buttons if reqd.
    Activate pf-status --> and apply in alv program.

  • Menu bar in ALV OOPS

    HI All ,
    I am using the method SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY of class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID  for a report program . In the Menu bar I
    have  SYSTEM and HELP  by default
    But in  REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY  in Menu bar we have LIST  EDIT GOTO SETTINGS other than SYSTEM and HELP  by default
    Please let me know how to replicate the same Menu Bar into the CL_GUI_ALV_GRID .
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Its seems like you are using the pf-status 'MAIN'.
    Use the PF status 'STANDARD' instead. If you want to customize your gui status follow the steps below
    1. Go to SE41,
    2. Give the program name as SAPLKKBL and status as STANDARD.
    3. Now click on the copy status button on the application toolbar
    4. Provide your program name and a custom gui status name.
    5. you can add or remove things in menu bar, application tool bar and function keys, change function codes etc.
    Use that in the program.
    Hope that helps.

  • Help on Button Choice of alv tool bar

    Hai , i created a button choice on the ALV tool bar .
    and now problem is how to capture the choices i.e how to check which choice is selected on the button?
    i defined an event handler methos with refernce to the event ON_FUNCTION of the alv.
    Please help me , its urgent,
    Madhuh

    Hi Madhuh,
    could you help me? I have a similar issue. It seems that you are one step ahead cause for me it is not possible to see the button choice in ALV.
    How did you set the button choice object to the ALV toolbar?
    I tried following:
      DATA: lr_interfacecontroller TYPE REF TO iwci_salv_wd_table,
            lr_alv_conf            TYPE REF TO cl_salv_wd_config_table,
            lr_func_settings       TYPE REF TO if_salv_wd_function_settings,
            lr_function            TYPE REF TO cl_salv_wd_function,
            lr_menu_action         TYPE REF TO cl_salv_wd_menu_action_item,
            lr_button_choice       TYPE REF TO cl_salv_wd_fe_button_choice,
    * create button choice
      CREATE OBJECT lr_button_choice.
    * function ID (need for field propeties?!)
      lr_function = lr_func_settings->create_function( 'BTN_CREATE_ETA' ).
    * set text
      lv_text = cl_wd_utilities=>get_otr_text_by_alias( '/SCMTMS/UI_COMMON/CREATE_ETA' ).
      lr_button_choice->set_text( lv_text ).
    * create menu objects for the categories depending on allowed categories:
      LOOP AT lt_value_set INTO ls_value_set.
        CONCATENATE 'CREATE_ETA' ls_value_set-key INTO lv_id.
        lv_text = ls_value_set-value.
    *   create menu action now
        CREATE OBJECT lr_menu_action
          EXPORTING
            id = lv_id.
        lr_menu_action->set_text( lv_text ).
    *   Add action menu to button choice
        lr_button_choice->add_choice( lr_menu_action ).
      ENDLOOP.
      lr_function->set_editor( lr_button_choice ).
    But that dumps in my case inside wd salv coding because of last statement. Is that the right way to do?
    Do you have a context mapping to the interface controller of ALV for that function? If yes how does it look like.
    Thanks in advance for your help!
    Regards Rico

  • Hide menu bar in Webgui of HTML

    Hi,
    Can you please let me know how to hide the menu bar in WEBGUI of HTML.
    I have to hide the menu bar for an ALV Report which i have created in SRM 5.0 which i am going to publish in SRM Web interface .
    Also please let me know after hiding menu bar how i can give exporting option to excel file.
    Thanks,
    Vaibhav

    Hi Vaibhav,
    Make transaction code of this report EWT (Easy Web Transaction).
    Or
    While publishing this service on ITS, add ~transactiontype = EWT.

    Hi
    Adding Your Own Functions
    ALV Grid control has an open door letting you to add your own functions triggered by a button press on the ALV toolbar. For this, we mainly utilize two of ALV Grid events. We use the event “toolbar” to add the button and the event “user_command” to implement the new function.
    In the method handling the “toolbar” event, we define a new button by filling a structure and appending it to the table attribute “mt_toolbar” of the object to whose reference we can reach via the parameter “e_object” of the event.
    FORM handle_toolbar USING i_object TYPE REF TO cl_alv_event_toolbar_set .
    DATA: ls_toolbar TYPE stb_button.
    CLEAR ls_toolbar.
    MOVE 3 TO ls_toolbar-butn_type.
    APPEND ls_toolbar TO i_object->mt_toolbar.
    CLEAR ls_toolbar.
    MOVE 'PER' TO ls_toolbar-function. "#EC NOTEXT
    MOVE icon_display_text TO ls_toolbar-icon.
    MOVE 'Passenger Info'(201) TO ls_toolbar-quickinfo.
    MOVE 'Passenger Info'(201) TO ls_toolbar-text.
    MOVE ' ' TO ls_toolbar-disabled. "#EC NOTEXT
    APPEND ls_toolbar TO i_object->mt_toolbar.
    CLEAR ls_toolbar.
    MOVE 'EXCH' TO ls_toolbar-function. "#EC NOTEXT
    MOVE 2 TO ls_toolbar-butn_type.
    MOVE icon_calculation TO ls_toolbar-icon.
    MOVE 'Payment in Other Currencies'(202) TO ls_toolbar-quickinfo.
    MOVE ' ' TO ls_toolbar-text.
    MOVE ' ' TO ls_toolbar-disabled. "#EC NOTEXT
    APPEND ls_toolbar TO i_object->mt_toolbar.
    ENDFORM .
    The fields of the structure we fill are as follows:
    Field
    Description
    FUNCTION
    The function code for the function
    BUTN_TYPE
    Button type that will be added to the toolbar. Available button types are:
    0
    Button (normal)
    1
    Menu and default button
    2
    Menu
    3
    Separator
    4
    Radio button
    5
    Checkbox
    6
    Menu entry
    ICON
    Icon for the button (optional)
    TEXT
    Text for the button (optional)
    QUICKINFO
    Quick info for the button (optional)
    DISABLED
    Adds the button as disabled
    Fields of structure to be filled to add a new function
    we are adding a separator line and two buttons one of which is a normal button whereas the other is a menu button. To handle a menu button which as added by choosing ‘1’ or ‘2’ as the button type, we must also implement some coding at the method handling the event “menu_button” to define functions as to be subentries. The functions of these subentries are also handled under the event “user_command”.
    FORM handle_menu_button USING i_object TYPE REF TO cl_ctmenu
    i_ucomm TYPE syucomm .
    CASE i_ucomm .
    WHEN 'EXCH' .
    CALL METHOD i_object->add_function
    EXPORTING
    fcode = 'EU'
    text = 'Euro' .
    CALL METHOD i_object->add_function
    EXPORTING
    fcode = 'TRL'
    text = 'Turkish Lira' .
    ENDCASE .
    ENDFORM. " handle_menu_button
    Adding two functions to be subentries for the menu button with function code ‘EXCH’
    Now, to implement what to be executed when our button is pressed or our subentry is selected we need to program our functions in the method handling the event “user_command”.
    Implementing functioning codes for new functions
    FORM handle_user_command USING i_ucomm TYPE syucomm .
    DATA lt_selected_rows TYPE lvc_t_roid .
    DATA ls_selected_row TYPE lvc_s_roid .
    CALL METHOD gr_alvgrid->get_selected_rows
    IMPORTING
    et_row_no = lt_selected_rows .
    READ TABLE lt_selected_rows INTO ls_selected_row INDEX 1 .
    IF sy-subrc ne 0 .
    MESSAGE s000(su) WITH 'Select a row!'(203) .
    ENDIF .
    CASE i_ucomm .
    WHEN 'CAR' .
    READ TABLE gt_list INDEX ls_selected_row-row_id .
    IF sy-subrc = 0 .
    CALL FUNCTION 'ZDISPLAY_CARRIER_INFO'
    EXPORTING carrid = gt_list-carrid
    EXCEPTIONS carrier_not_found = 1
    OTHERS = 2.
    IF sy-subrc NE 0 .
    *--Exception handling
    ENDIF .
    ENDIF .
    WHEN 'EU' .
    READ TABLE gt_list INDEX ls_selected_row-row_id .
    IF sy-subrc = 0 .
    CALL FUNCTION 'ZPOPUP_CONV_CURR_AND_DISPLAY'
    EXPORTING monun = 'EU'
    quant = gt_list-paymentsum.
    ENDIF .
    ENDCASE .
    ENDFORM .
    As you can see, we are using the method “get_selected_rows” to get which row is selected. Since the button with function ‘EXCH’ branches into subfunctions, we do not implement anything for it. Instead, we implement functional codes for subfunctions.
    After all, to make ALV show our additional buttons, we must call the method “set_toolbar_interactive” for the ALV Grid instance after the instance is created.
    e.g. CALL METHOD gr_alvgrid->set_toolbar_interactive .
    Regards
    Preeti

  • Spry menu bar woes (add submenu levels and edit width)

    So i need some spry menu bar help. Apparently as a graphic designer i'm also expected to webdesign, and while i can solve most problems with a good googling, i seem to be at  my wit's end fo this one.  So the site i'm doing has a header ith a horizontal spry pop-up menubar (in Dreamweaver CS4). But some problems arise:  when i manually add another submenu level, they don't show up in chrome or FF, they do werk perfectly in IE6. I just add the following code to the codepage:
    <li><a href="#" class="MenuBarItemSubmenu">audio equipment</a>             <ul>               <li><a href="#">Digital Matrix Systems</a></li>               <ul>               <li><a href="#">R2 Digital Audio Matrix</a></li>               </ul>               <li><a href="#">pre-amplifiers &amp; mixers</a></li>               <ul>               <li><a href="#">PMX124</a></li>               </ul>
    the PMX never pops open in FF an chrome.. Should i be adding anything else to another part of the code?  i'd like my submenu text to have a slight indent? How ever, when i add the indent to ul.menubarhorizontal ul , it elongates the submeny boxes in IE6, while looking normal (width) in chrome and FF. WHat part of the CSS style should i change to just have the text scoot over a bit without it really affecting the box layout? ALso, if anyone could tell me how to add a wee bit of spacing above the text (and beneath), i'd be eternally gratefull.  Also, how do i change the with of the submenus? seing as my main buttons are images, but the names i ned to put in my submenus are turning out to be pretty long...
    HTML code for the menu:

  • How do I add the Displays icon to the Menu Bar?

    In prior OS on my iMac, I was able to add the Display icon to the Menu Bar, making it a quick fix to adjust the resolution.  That option no longer appears in the Display section of System Preferences.  I am using multiple displays.  Could that make any difference?  Any suggestions?

  • I have a new MacBook(2012). Being a new Mac user, I do not know what to do when Safari doesn't open at all. The icon just bounces up and down and when the cursor is on the top main menu bar it is the spinning rainbow wheel.  Any ideas for help?

    When I try to open safari the icon stats bouncing and then nothing happens other than the cursor turning to a spinning rainbow wheel when it hoovers on the top main menu bar. I have shut down and restart several times. My safari worked yesterday and then today this, but with. I indication of a problem. I can't even get the browser window to open so that I can clear caches or reset anything. When I opened my computer this time I don't even get a bouncing icon. No recognition of selecting the program at all. If I go to spotlight and try to open safari from here I still get no response. Can you help?

    Hi ...
    If you have moved the Safari application from the Applications folder, move it back.
    As far as the cache goes, there's a work around for that when you can't empty the Safari cache from the menu bar.
    Go to    ~/Library/Caches/com.aple.Safari.Cache.db.  Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
    Try Safari.
    Mac OS X (10.7.2)   <  from your profile
    If that is corrrect, you need to update your system software. Click your Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click Software
    Update ...
    ~ (Tilde) character represents the Home folder.
    For Lion v10.7x:  To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library

  • I can no longer get my address bar, back or foward buttons, tool bar, menu bar or anything else. How can I restore?

    When I open Firefox I do not get an address bar only Google comes up. I don't get a back or forward button nor do I get the tool bar or menu bar. There is no default button. I read the forum but I can not make any corrections because I don't have a tool bar displayed. I am using 3.6. When I turn off my computer and then turn it back on, the default settings still do not return.

    It is a long while since I tried Google Toolbar, I am not sure what it changes. But I would not expect it to totally remove your options to use the ordinary toolbars.
    ■ Try
    * press the''' alt '''key on the keyboard, that may return the menu bar
    * once you have the menubar '''View -> Toolbars ->''' and select which you need
    * you may also use View-> Toolbars -> Customise and drag items back or use the restore default set option.
    * right clicking on the toolbars also gets you to the customise and show toolbars options
    ■ have a look at [[Back and forward or other toolbar items are missing]]
    PS
    I hope you do not need to resort to editing registry settings, the firefox 'dragons' in prefs are user friendly compared with Windows registry. Messing up firefox prefs only really affects firefox normally; whereas errors in a registry edit may prevent you from even booting the computer.

  • My safari menu bar is missing --the menu bar for desktop, HD, and apps appears, but when I click on Safari, it disappears, so I can no longer see my buttons for History, etc.  I think my husband (pc user) clicked it away.  Any ideas how to retrieve it?

    My safari menu bar is missing.  The menu bar for desktop, HD, and apps appears, but when I click on Safari, it disappears, so I can no longer see my buttons for History, etc.  I think my husband (pc user) clicked it away when borrowing my computer.  Any ideas how to retrieve it?  Thanks.

    I too was having the same problem However, I could access both the menu bar and the dock by hovering my mouse over them so it wasn't a huge problem but I prefered having it there anyway. I was not in full screen mode and I could still go into full screen mode if I wanted to.  I found the easiest solution was to just quit safai and restart it, but it might not work for you considering you couldn't access you menu bar either way.
    I found this article that allows you to hide/show the menu bar and the dock through TextEdit (didn't work for me) http://www.mactricksandtips.com/2009/07/hide-the-menubar-or-dock-in-specific-app s.html It is pretty old so it might not work for lion and a bit risky if you don't know what you're doing so I wouldn't really recommend doing it this way.
    And KSheppard, I know it's not really any of my buisness, but the way to get answers to a question isn't by insulting others and being quick-tempered. Even if you feel like you were insulted first, don't try snapping at people who aren't obligated to help you. Honestly, it just makes everything easier if everybody is cooperative and polite.

  • Menu bar no longer working with IE update

    With the recent update in IE my main menu bar is no longer working, the "hover" function is not working and looks like the links are broken, but the links do work if you actually click on them.  From my vista machine it is OK but from my XP machine it does not show as being a link. The submenu's however do still work, here is the code, the first line is from the main menu and doesn't work, the 2nd line is a submenu and does work.
    Here is the site www.conundrumadventures.com
    From the main menu this is the code for "Adventures":
    <td id="002" class="link4" onclick="location.href='Teambuilding-Exercises-Adventures.php'"; onmouseover="changeC('002','link4h');" onmouseout="changeC('002','link4');" >Adventures</td>
            </tr>
            <tr>
    From within the adventures page here is the code for the submenu for  "Conundrum Metro":
              <td id="303" class="Sublink4" onclick="location.href='Outdoor-Team-Building.php'"; onmouseover="subchangeC('303','Sublink4h');" onmouseout="subchangeC('303','Sublink4');" >Conundrum Metro</td>
            </tr>
    Any ideas how to fix the main menu bar?
    Thanks
    Lynn

    I recommend doing away with your mouseover/mouseout links and convert to using Cascading Style Sheets.
    Here is a link to CSS tutorials: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/css.html
    You don't say whether you are using Dreamweaver CS4 or an earlier version, but even if you are using that earlier version, you can type the code in yourself. Look especially at the tutorial chain "Designing with CSS", as there is a module that talks about a menu bar and how to make the links.
    Best wishes,
    Beth

  • After updating to Firefox 7.0.1, menu bar for Google,yahoo, Facebook (message,notification,profile,home) and others site are disabled. How can solve this problem?

    after updating to Firefox 7.0.1, menu bar for Google(web ,image,video,map etc),yahoo, Facebook (message,notification,profile,home) and others site are disabled. even I cant log out from different sites cz the log out bar is completely disabled. I tried with Firefox 4;5 and 6, same problem exist . I tried by active all add ons for facebook, same problem exist. If I use internet explorer , I don't find such problem with it.
    How can I solve this problem?

    Thanks a lot for your swift response. And sorry if it was a bit too hectic to go through my detailed query (which I did because it was misunderstood when I asked previously). As I've mentioned above, I was informed that updating to 5.0.1 would '''require''' me to '''delete''' the current version and then install the new one. And doing so will involve losing all my bookmarks. I guess I should have been more specific and detailed there. By losing, I didn't mean losing them forever. I'm aware that they're secured in some place and deleting and installing the software doesn't harm its existence. What I meant that if I install the new version, I'd have to delete the old one. And after installing the new version, I'd have to transfer them (bookmarks) back from wherever they are. Get it? When it updated from 3.6.9 to 3.6.13, and from 3.6.13 to 3.6.18, I didn't need to follow that process. They were already present on their own.
    BTW, I'm having no problems with 3.6.18 but after learning about the existence of version 5.0.1, I'm a bit too eager to lay my hands over it.
    Thanks for your help; hope this wasn't extremely long.

    Adobe Bridge shortcut button missing in PS CS6 menu bar, how to install as in PS CS5 [essentials]

    Yes, Bridge shortcut has been removed from PS CS5. However, you can go to File->Browse in Bridge option to open the file in Br CS6.

  • In the Menu Bar, under File, then Open File, how do I change the selections?

    I have Firefox 11.0 and Windows 5.1 (2007). In Firefox, I click on FILE in the Menu Bar, then OPEN FILE (Ctrl+O), and I see a small box; it says Look in: Mozilla Firefox. Below is a selection of files within the folder Mozilla Firefox. To the left is a column of four other folders: Downloads, My Computer, John, Lori. The last two are obviously two of the folders I've created on my computer, using Windows. But I don't know how they got here! I have no recollection of customizing this particular Firefox menu option by adding those folders, nor can I figure out what to do in order to further customize it. Can anyone tell me: (1) how can I change the original "Look in" option so that it opens with something other than "Mozilla Firefox" (which, after all, I never need to access)? (2) how can I add/delete/change the choices offered in the column on the left, so that different folders are listed? (Currently, if I want to access my Windows folders/files, I first have to minimize the Firefox screen; this seems to me a nice shortcut, but I'd like it to include shortcuts to the folders I use the most, which does not include "Mozilla Firefox"!) (3) Is this actually a Firefox feature, or is it a Windows feature? It does look like Windows (Windows style, Windows folders), but it appears only in the Firefox Menu Bar, along with Bookmarks, Tools, etc. Thanks!

    This sounds like a Windows thing ( You can post a photo and I can tell you for certain). Those folders are Windows system created folders that your computer has had since it was installed, all Firefox does is use the Windows File picker, which is what you see when you open that window. So, to customize you'd have to do that from Windows Explorer (not Firefox).
    The Window should however remember what folder you were in last.
