Antimalware Client Version

Question

We have several clients with the antimalware client version 4.5.216.0.  Running Windows update manually doesn't list an update for this.  I've tried the following:
1) Wiping out the softwaredistribution folder
2) Re-installing SCEP
Also, quick scans on these systems seem to hang when they're nearly complete.  On the current quick scan the time elapsed paused at 4:33.  If I click cancel, it goes back to the home screen, and if I click scan again, it just goes back to the paused
progress.
Any ideas?

When you run Windows update manually, is it connecting to an internal update server or to the Internet? Check WindowsUpdate.log
You should be picking up KB3041687 which is version 4.7.209.0 of the Antimalware client.
If it isn't showing as available, you probably need to check the products being synced with WSUS/ConfigMgr SUP and make sure that "Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010" is included, and under classifications, critical updates are being synced as
well as definition updates.
Or maybe that update is being synced, but you don't have it added to a software update group being deployed to those systems.
Haven't seen the scan behavior you mentioned, but perhaps updating the client will fix it.
