Hi Alessandro.. Thanks a lot for your help!
Yes I have binded each of the Outport parameter to Corresponding Target inport.
But i think i am confused in one thing.
Step 1:
I have created a BOAction : and assigned it to the one of the Action of my BO.
Step 2:
Now that action ( genratePDF) has below code :
this.refreshmethod();
//Pdf genration
FormTemplateCode.content = "YV3R6L49Y_PP9";
PDF = OutputManagementUtilities.GetPDF(this,FormTemplateCode,FormTemplateLanguage);
docName = "Sy_Bau_Summaryform.pdf";
doctype.content = "10001";
In above code where i will pass the data of docname and doctype? in the instance of PDF?
now the variable PDF has some values in its content attribute.
Step 3:
Now I am calling FireOutport : Preview. That has two parameters : 1. Group Code where i am paasing a constant the Group code of my .ftgd
2. Foecefrontend which is always true.
step 4:
In the Model dialog i have binded my ROOT to NodeRefrencebinding.(in binding configuration)
and  in navigation i have binded my Outport to Target with group code  and forcefrontednd.
Now when i click on button it is first firing the BOAction and then this outport , IMHO No where my variable for PDF is getting accessed!
So in a way its try to trigger the form but how will i then use PDF variable which has the content attribute...
I hope i am clear about the issue !

    Hi,
    SAP Note: 1013227.
    But you should have ZCI based forms. Note: 1055911 and 1042394.
    It always makes sense if you specify the NetWeaver SP release you are on along with any other information that you think is important.

  • Help - Using PDF forms in Livecycle & submitting them by e-mail

    Hi
    I have prepared a form, which is an interactive pdf, although I was experiencing problems that this wasn't being read by any adobe reader's under version 8.
    I've imported my form into Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2, which I have no experience of using and I'm having a few difficulties with.
    I need to have people open the form and be able to fill fields out and then when they hit the 'submit by e-mail' button, I need it to attach the entire document including graphics. Currently when this is being hit, its attaching a document in an xml format... looking a little like the below:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <topmostSubform>
    <Title />
    <Surname />
    <First_Names />
    <Maiden_Name_if_applicable />
    <Nationality />
    <Current_Address />
    <Post_Code />
    Does anyone know how the filled in data can be saved back into the pdf as its current graphical state? My colleagues need to be able to print the form with collected data.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    This has been doscussed numerous times on this forum .....here is a link to one of thse discussions:

  • Help with PDF form responses

    Hey there!
    I have two issues with online form data collection and am completely stumped. It's a real struggle to find useful documentation for Acrobat forms!
    #1 - I have created a form uploaded it to Acrobat.com, and have been able to collect test form data. In the local responses portfolio, I'm able to use the 'Update' button to bring the latest form data into the portfolio. But I would like to have a colleague be responsible for monitoring the form data and we're running into problems. He's able to open the portfolio and has full access, however the 'Update' button is greyed out so he is unable to bring in new form data. We've already updated his 'Acrobat.com' username/password in Acrobat preferences to match mine, but still no luck. Any help?
    #2 - Some computers are having issues with electronic submission. My best guess is that this is to do with Acrobat versions, as the issues all seem to come from computers where the form is completed using Acrobat Reader 8. The form was created with Pro 9, and form submission works for both Pro 9 and also Reader 9. Is there something I can do here? (And yes I know that it's a free upgrade to 9, but 8 is still in the official build for our organisation and I don't really have time to wait for them to complete an upgrade!)
    Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

    Hello Paul,
    Thank you for your reply.
    I use Ipower for my hosting.  I see they use sendmail and the path on the server is - /usr/sbin/sendmail.  Would this work?
    The way I would like this to work would be:
    1) I e-mail the PDF form to the client
    2) Client opens and fills in the form
    3) They hit submit and the form information eventually gets e-mailed to my business e-mail
    I chose to use the HTTP method instead of e-mail because the PDF form says it can not be saved and if the client uses an internet beased e-mail like Yahoo it gets kind of messy.
    But, does the HTTP delivery method make it more difficult since this is not embedded in a website?
    Sorry, I did not realise this would be as involved as it is.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Livecycle design 8 Help with PDF forms

    I am new to Livecycle 8. I have created a simple PDF form in Livecycle 8 which was orignally an excel form. I set it up with a submit button to submit by email to a designated person. The form is housed on an internal web site for viewers with adobe reader to open and fill out and then submit by email. The goal is for the designated receiver to receive the the same PDF form with the information filled out by the previous viewer. I was successful with the form being emailed to the designated person as long as the peson submitting the form was using adobe professional. If the viewer only has adobe reader, the form would not submit to the designated receiver. Please help?

    Reader does not allow a local save of the form and data by default. To be able to add the attachment o an email message a local save must occur. You can Reader Extend your form to allow for this. Open th eform in Acrobat Pro. Under the Advanced menu choose the "Extend Features in Adobe Reader". Follow the wizard and save the result PDF as a different name ....I like to put RE in the name so I know it is Reader Extended. Try the new file.

  • Help with PDF form download

    Could anyone help please.  I have completed a form and saved it, then I went back into it and made a couple of changes and now I cannot download it as a PDF file.  Here is the error message I keep getting
    There is nothing else open on my mac, so I don't understand it.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

    Hi;
    The general things to try are:
    1) Make sure that youdo not have the file open, close any applications that might have had the file open
    2) Make sure you are saving to a location you can "write" to, such as your Desktop (not a read only location)
    3) Try giving the file a new name when saving (you probably need to add ".pdf" or you might end up with a file with no extension and you'd get another error message)
    4) Try restarting the web browser
    5) Try another web browser
    6) If all else fails restart your computer and try again
    Let me know if those do not get you going again.
    Thanks,
    Josh
    PS - I see Genevieve has just responded as well, I am leaving my response up since I mention trying another browser since that just resolved the same issue for another user...

  • Help with pdf forms

    Hello all,
    I need help desperately! Ok. so, I created a for from an existing document (PDF) on a mac computer. I did a test to see what would happen from the receiving end. When I distribute the form, the client receives it and fills in the blanks with type. WHenever they type a multiple line of text, the text becomes jumbled. I am running out of time and need to get this form to my client asap. Has anyone ever experienced this? If so, whast did you do to fix the problem?
    Thanks

    You'll need to go back and set the properties for the fields in question to multi-line. Right click on the field and select properties.

  • IPad help with PDF forms

    I am using Adobe Pro 8 on a PC and created a fill in form.  I filled in the form using Adobe Reader 10.2 on an iPad2.  Emailed the filled out form to my PC and can see the filled out form in my email previewer.  However, when I save the file to my PC the data gets lost (blank form).  Any suggestions?

    Hello,
    I believe your question has been addressed in the Adobe Reader for iOS forum in this thread:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4360262#4360262
    The relevant text:
    "Some forms do not display correctly in the Desktop Reader if field highlighting is enabled. This is something we're actively working on, but you might try disabling field highlights by clicking on the button in the purple bar at the top of the Document in the Desktop Reader to see if that helps."
    Hope this information helps.  If this does not remedy your problem, please let me know via email at [email protected]

  • Help with PDF Form Calculation

    OK So I don't know if this is even possible but what I am wanting is for clients to enter their income in the "income" felid and then for the "contribution" felid to pre-populate with how much they can have contributed...
    if the value is less than $31,920 then it is equal to $1000 – which works
    if the value is more than $61,920 then it is equal to $0 – which also works
    if the value is between $31,920 and $61,920 to apply the following formula:
    1000-(0.0333*(income-31920))  - this is where I am stumped!
    I have used the following code which works for the lesser than / greater than queries... however when I ask it to actually take the value in the box and use it to make a calculation I have no idea where to begin (or even if it is possible) so (as you can probably tell) I have just made up some sort of code which clearly doesn’t work...
    if (this.getField("income").value<31920) {
      event.value = 1000
      } else {
        if (this.getField("income").value>61920) {
        event.value = 0
      } else {
          event.value = 1000-(0.03333*((this.getFeild("income"))-31920))
    Any takers?

    You were very close. Try something like the following as the calculated field's custom Calculate script:
    (function () {
        // Get the field value
        var v = getField("income").value;
        if (v < 31920) {
            event.value = 1000;
            return;
        if (v > 61920) {
            event.value = 0;
            return;
        // v is >= 31920 and =< 61920
        event.value = 1000 - (0.03333 * (v - 31920));

  • PDF Form: Allow customer to enter name & address in a Printable letter

    I'm creating a letter which people can:
    -Download as a PDF from my website
    -Open in a PDF application and enter their name and address
    -Print off the letter with the name and address (that they entered above) in it.
    What's the best way of doing this? I first thought InDesign CS6 might be a good option as it has PDF form creation tools (and I have created a separate thread in the InDesign community about that), but I thought I would post here, in case InDesign is not the best option.
    Thanks for any help.

    The basic form (no fields) can be created in InDesign, or any word processor or layout program and printed to a PDF file. Then open the file in Acrobat and add the form fields. For name and address you would add text fields. Be aware that when you start adding personal information, you should not be asking for a submission by e-mail. In your case, you are asking for a print and that should be fine. In Acrobat (or Reader I think) you have to print document and markup.
