Anyone know how iPhoto '08 handles RAW files?

I use Aperture right now...just wondering

I've got issues with how iPhoto '08 handles RAW files from my Nikon D40. When I first bring up a photo in full screen, it appears soft and slightly out of focus. After 1-2 seconds, it sharpens to full focus but it also brings in additional digital noise. It is primarily visible in skies and areas with subtle color changes. Thankfully I'm not seeing the same in Aperture.

I have been using an APP called "SMS Backup & Restore" to backup my message conversations to my Laptop PC. It works fine BUT the backup file, once in my PC, has an XML extent such as "filename.XML"
I would like to read and/or print and/or save the text message file so does anyone know how to convert the XML file to something else so it shows all the messages without all the formatting instructions.
When I try to see the XML file it shows all the formatting. If I replace the .XML with .TXT that too shows all the formatting mixed in with the text message narrative.
When I look at the XML file in SMS Backup & Restore in the Charge phone it looks great showing all the messages just as they were on the phones display. The problem with this is that there is no way to print or read or save the messages as they appear in the file from the phone itself. I tried screen capture but if you have, let's say, a 28 message conversation you have to do 7 or 8 screen captures to get them all.
If only I could convert the XML in my PC to something that is printable or savable or readable that would be the "cats meow."
Anyone know how???

You were correct again. I deleted everything I had done to date and re-did the entire SMS backup of my 28 message conversation again and YES I was able to open it using IE-8. It looks great and it prints great and life is good! I am going to go make a donation.

Anyone know how to output an XML file from ABAP to a non sapgui location?

I have a program that creates XML and then outputs a file via CALL METHOD cl_gui_frontend_services=>gui_download. But now I want to execute the program in background mode and therefore I need to be able to output that XML to a NON sapgui file location. Current code creates the XML to an internal table which is binary then the gui_download method converts that to output XML. . Does anyone know how I can change the code to either a) output the XML to an internal table which can be output via, say, a TRANSFER command..or, b) output the created binary table of XML to a NON sapgui file location?
Excerpts from current code are as follows:
first the XML is created (to the binary file)
      Creating a ixml factory
l_ixml = cl_ixml=>create( ).
      Creating the dom object model
l_document = l_ixml->create_document( ).
      Fill root node with value XML

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

1. Below is the HTS files provided by 3rd party company. and I noticed that there is 3 types of files. "DTR" , "Nom" and "Txt". Could you explain what are they? and If I need to upload them seperately?
2. Follow the procedure your provided - "classification > upload manually HTS codes into GTS system" Actually, I didn't find upload mannually HTS codes into GTS IN THE SAP CUSTOM Managment.
I tried "Load Traiff Code Numbers from XML files" and "Load Commodity code from XML file".

That executable file type is just OSX's way of saying it doesn't know what it is. Unfortunately during the OS7-OS9 days Apple dropped using file extensions. As I transitioned from DOS to Mac in the late 1980s I kept on adding them to all my files because I used several computers and would take a floppy from one to the other and needed to know what kind of files I had on there. I still have sounds from OS7 days and I know what they are because I added extensions 24 years ago.
You might see if you can find a resource checking utility. Resources are hidden file information about creator and type in older files. I think I have one on this computer but I am running a G4 OSX 10.4.11 and it is Classic capable so I have all kinds of old software here that may not run on a newer computer.
IT is conceivable VLC might play the file. It can do all kinds of things but I don't know how good its legacy format support is.

Creating an exe file of a VI that uses dsc components is not that difficult, although it could be easier. But, I also use vi-servers to communicate with the tagengine, and this is where I fall short. The document "viserver.pdf" located in the labview\manuals folder, describes how to create, develop and test VI-based servers using vis from the DSC Server Development
palette. But how should a vi-server be handled when used with an application that among other things uses a taglist (scf file) that requires certain vi-servers to run to update tag values etc. I have found that one option is to include the vi-servers in the "LabVIEW DSC Run-Time System 7.0", register them there and include all vis needed f
or them to run in subfolders of the "LabVIEW DSC Run-Time System 7.0". Servers will not load vis from the \vi.lib folder nor from \user.lib or any other \labview 7.0 folder. Can these servers instead be created as exe files, and how can this be done ?

sorry but it's not possible to build an executable from a vi-based server. You need to distribute this type of server as an llb. Please follow this link to the NI knowledge base for more information:
