Anyone know how to resize a window in an application that has "grown" beyond the edges of the screen?
Suddenly in Illustrator, the workspace window is too big: it extends under the application menu bar so I can't access the top and move it, close it, or minimize it. The sides and bottom extend so far out to the edges of the screen that I can't access the resizing corner. Help!

I saw advice to someone whose itunes window was too large. They suggested applescript code:

Sorry but I don't use that so I'm not familiar with the settings.
But if you haven't setup and security the iPhone might not mind but I know most Windows computers do not like to connect to Open WiFi. and make sure it is WPA or WPA2.
Then again it may be a setting in the connection sharing like some type of MAC filtering or it may simply be that Mac OS X connection sharing only allows one connection at a time. Try disconnecting your phone and then connect the PC.
As to Linc's response about Windows.
Windows basically does care about connecting to open, unsecured, WiFi. But it will normally pop up a windows asking "Are myou sure you want to connect to this open network". And a simple click on yes will get you connected and an IP address.
So this is clearly a Mac OS X problem. -
I just bought an ipad3 and I was wondering if anyone knows how to have my reminders displayed in my calendar? If it not possible on the iPad , is it possible on the iphone4s? if not, than does anyone know of any apps that make it convenient to do so?
That's only for the iPhone 5. On the 4 and 4S, they can repair the back glass in store for $30. They will not replace the display on a 4 or 4S. They must replace the entire phone. Replacing the display on them requires disassembling the entire phone, which they will not do in store.

Anyone know how I can get an audio file imported into my iTunes' podcast directory, rather than the music directory?
I downloaded a series of podcasts recently. They were imported into my "music" directory instead, making it more difficult for me to recall where I left off with the last podcast I listened to before having to stop it for whatever reason. The workflow that Jim spelled out is for doing what's called a "multi-cam edit." This allows you to conveniently switch among different video clips, often from multiple cameras that shot the same performance or event. The end result is a segment where only one clip is visible at a time.
The way I read your question, what you want to do is show six clips all at once, which is typically referred to "picture in picture." To do that, follow the first 3 steps Jim provided. (By the way, in Step 2, the key is to stack the clips on six different tracks, as opposed to lining them up head-to-tail.) Then select each clip in turn and use the Position and Scale controls in the Effect Controls Panel to shrink it and move it where you want within the frame. Apple considers all sales to be final. There are no refunds. Especially no refund just because you think that you don't need to use the app anymore.
When you don't need your vacuum cleaner any more because you have a new one, does Walmart let you bring the old on back for a refund? -
While setting up new iPhone 4S, I mistakenly mistyped my Apple ID (email address) so when I go to app store, that incorrect account is revealed. Trying to figure out how to change the Apple ID on the iPhone 4S to correct info. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance for you help.

How can I get rid of McAfee SiteAdvisor that has installed itself on my Firefox browser screen?
An uninvited McAfee message flashed up on my screen when I was on the net and I mistakenly clicked a button that installed the McAfee SiteAdvisor on my browser screen. I have tried to uninstall the McAfee program and to delete the files that McAfee has stored on my computer, but when I try to delete those files a box comes up saying that they cannot be deleted because they are either write protected or in use by another program.
I do not want to have to read a McAfee SiteAdvisor bright green notice on the bottom corner of my computer screen every time I use Firefox. Does anyone know how to get rid of the files McAfee has stored on my computer? Thank you.I used to have McAfee site advisor on one machine last year. I do not remember major problems un-installing it presumably it uninstalled easily from the Windows XP control panel -> remove programs.
I also seem to recall it created a long list of files possibly totalling in the GB range of memory use, if I remember correctly I had no problems in removing them.
If you have McAfee security products on your computer you may need to be careful about what is uninstalled. -
Hi guys, my Illustrator CC 2014 won't launch, getting an error message "Could not complete the requested operation", this is not a specific file issue I can't launch Illustrator stand alone. I've un-installed and re-installed about 3 times and contacted support but they haven't been able to solve as of yet. It's a relatively fresh install of windows 8.1 and no custom fonts have been added. I've tried deleting the preferences folders and launching and that has not had any effect. No idea what else I can do, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Forgot to mention I have also tried running Illustrator as administrator and that Illustrator was running perfectly fine on this computer since install (about 2 weeks) before this started happening.

ChrisHi Jacob, I decided to completely remove the entire creative suite from my computer, ran the cleaning tool (although some errors showed in the log file) and it now works! Let's just pray it stays this way haha. Thanks for the suggestion.

How do I remove Overdrive books from the library that were downloaded onto my computer then transferred to my iphone? The problem is that they do not show up in iTunes.
I see this question asked a lot when I google, but they always give answers that assumes you can find the books in iTunes either under the books tab, or the audio books tab or in the music. They do not show up anywhere for me. They do not remove from the app like the ones I downloaded directly onto my iphone.the related archived article does not answer it either. I even asked a guy working at an apple store and he could not help either. Anybody...?

Does anyone know how to make a Windows 7 PC into a Wifi Hotspot?
I have a Windows 7 PC at work and have tried using the Ad-Hoc option to turn my wifi card in my laptop with Internet Connection Sharing to get my iPad, iPhone and MacBook Air online but I have had no sucess. Googled everything I could and still can't get it to surf the internet. It will connect but I don't have any internet. Suggestions?
If it is a work computer, at work it may be restricted so that you can not turn the lap top into a hot spot for security reaasons. If your company dosn't let guest use their wi fi, it is most likely that they know that their system can be hacked into through unprotected wi fi. You could check with your IT department to determin if this is the case.

Did you carry out this restore on a PC? To reformat for Mac the iPod has to be restored in iTunes For Mac. Try putting the iPod into Disk Mode, that may help computer recognise it:
