When you turn on your cmss2 not cmss AND you have eax ON do you get sound from your center speaker?
cmss2 + eax = center speaker off..................is it supposed to be off?
cmss + eax= center speaker on
what happens with you?

Center channel works fine for me in all modes.
I turned on WMP 0 with a few mp3's. CMSS, CMSS + EAX Effect, CMSS2, CMSS2 + Effect. I went through several effects w/ CMSS & 2.
I did notice a couple things that could be affecting you though. I have the CMSS "Fader" for lack of a better term.. it moves the stereo focus from front speakers to back speakers.. set to 0%, which is balanced between front and back. Also, in the EAX Effect pane there this the effect amount. When I played w/ these two sliders and different effects, I noticed the center speaker did get very faint at times. Sometimes all that could be heard was reverb or echo.
Maybe it's the unique combination of CMSS setting and effect amount, plus the type of center speaker you have just not getting enough power?

I know that you can't have real 5. sound (only upmix) in games with Creative Digital-Speakers. Is it possible to connect, without the decoder box, the soundcard with the subwoofer (Line-Out -3)? Audigy SE problems with 5.1 speakers and hissing, clipping out

I have installed a SB0570 sound card, the results are less than I had with my onboard sound. I have disabled my onboard audio, removed the dirvers for same, have installed and reinstalled the drivers for the Audigy SE card numerous times. I cannot get any sound out of the center speaker, the rear speakers and subwoofer. I have checked and redone connections to speakers and reset soundcard on MOBO. When I remove the sound card and enable the onboard audio the speakers work correctly.
The updated drivers available on CL website are installed. I have tried all the fixes recommended and am at a loss what to do next.
I am using Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-SLI mobo, with AMD Athlon 64x2 +4200 CPU, PCIE EVGA GeForce 7800GTCO video card, OS Windows XP PRO.

Have you try turning on CMSS.

I have the same but not the same problem. When I play a sound or a video on a website (other than youtube)on safari, a weird nois is comeing from the speakers, the sound has pops/clicks but if I play the same video/sound on mozilla it works fine.. If wnyone know what's the problem.. please let us know

Same here after upgrade yesterday.
I can get OS utilities up using CMD R or holding the shift key (eventually), but if I simply then reinstall the OS will it not loose everything on my drive? I do have it backed up on Time Machine? What a nightmare - Apple Support does suck. I am not paying £25 for them to call me to tell me how to fix a bug in their OS software upgrade. Any help
Also does anyone know if it is possible to use time machine to go back to Snow Leopard? I have wasted much of the day on this now

Why would you create a new account?
All purchases will be tied to the account from which they were purchased.
You will have to authorize your computer for all the accounts from which music is purchased.

Unfortunately, this is a problem that is driven by the DRM Dictatorship. Despite the proliferation of mobile devices and the fact that there are many of us who do a lot of international travel, content providers don't want you to have access to their products outside of your homeland. The Balkanized mentality of the DRM Dictatorship is way out of touch with the modern world.
At least Apple, to its credit, allows you to use your accounts outside of your homeland as long as you have the proper credentials for them. Most other services use the more Draconian geolocation filtering which does require you to be physically present in your homeland. For the most part, you are not allowed to leave home if you want access to your favorite entertainment!

And when my friends call me my iPhone didn't show anything even the missed call I'm only know that I missed the call from messages from carrier. Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

Whenever I plug my iPhone into the car charger (professionally installed and hardwired), it comes up with the yellow triangle and exclamation mark saying that this accessory isn't supported.   It's been working quite fine since 2010, now it's not.

My iPhone car charger was professionally installed in 2010 and again in 2013 and had been working perfectly for all of this time, now it's coming up with the yellow triangle and the text saying that this accessory isn't supported.    Is there an easy way to fix this without tearing everything to bits?    It all appears to have gone boonta about 3 upgrades ago and I haven't been able to use it since.
I've seen and tried the suggestions on Google, none of them work for long, and I'm certainly not going to tear the car kit or phone apart to overcome something that is obviously a software issue.    Surely Apple can overcome this?
And the bloody "Terms and Conditions" fiasco!   55 pages of mumbo jumbo that nobody would read EVER, and you get to the end and nothing happens.   I've bought an app from Apple to use on their product and I can't install it because the Terms and Conditions doesn't accept anything.   Surely they can fix this?

You can use most of the apps that you bought for your iPhone on the iPad as well. Sometimes the apps are not optimized for the iPad's larger display. Sometimes the apps are limited to the iPhone and you must purchase a separate iPad version. As with your iPhone, Mac apps cannot be used on an iOS device.

Open Mail preferences and delete the account. This only removes it from the Mail app and doesn't close out the service.
