APEX 3.0 Web Service OWS-04052 unrecognized operation SOAP Envelop

Hey,
I run into a problem with WebServices. Short, I implemented a WebService with JDeveloper and now I would like to create ws references in APEX. The ws is working 100% correct so the problem is, that APEX creates a soap envelop which is not 100% correct...
So blabla here it is what APEX generates for request:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
<SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<SOAP-ENV:Body>
<ns1:projectId
xmlns:ns1="http://impl.planning.services.model.azima.promatis.com/">2</ns1:projectId>
</SOAP-ENV:Body>
</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
Now the request which should be sended: (from EM Console)
<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
<soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://impl.planning.services.model.azima.promatis.com/">
<ns1:getAllElementsOfProject>
<ns1:projectId>2</ns1:projectId>
</ns1:getAllElementsOfProject>
</soap:Body>
</soap:Envelope>
Compare and you will see that the operation info is missing. So it's almost the same but the operation 'getAllElementsOfProject' isn't in the request.
If it helps I could also send the wsdl if requiered for help.
So I run into the following error:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:ns0="http://impl.planning.services.model.azima.promatis.com/"><env:Body><env:Fault><faultcode>env:Client</faultcode><faultstring>Caught exception while handling request: unrecognized operation: {http://impl.planning.services.model.azima.promatis.com/}projectId</faultstring></env:Fault></env:Body></env:Envelope>
From Response
2007-05-22 16:41:01.765 WARNING OWS-04052 Bestimmen der Vorgangs-ID aus SOAP-Nachricht nicht m÷glich.
In OC4J (sorry german - means that operation-id couldn't be identified)
Do you have any ideas how I could configure this? Before you try to say: make it manually, I won't, because it have to worked automatically!
Thanks
Frank

Ok I tried it with new Version JAX-WS 2.0.1. There is a new annotation where the type of the Enpoint or WebService itseld can be set:
@BindingType( value=SOAPBinding.SOAP11HTTP_BINDING )
So I tried now with SOAP 1.1 but APEX still don't put the operation name in the SOAP request envelope...
Now do anyone out there have a clue what else could be wrong? Did I maybe forget an annotation parameter somewhere or something else? So I do it something like this:
@Stateless
@WebService( name="XXX" )
@BindingType( value=SOAPBinding.SOAP11HTTP_BINDING )
public class XXXImpl implements Ixxx {
@EJB Ia a;
@EJB Ib b;
@WebMethod( operationName="foo" )
public ADaoObjectWithNoComplexAttributes foo( Long someId ) {
// do it!
return theDao;
I am appreciate for any help!
Thanks

  • ORACLE APEX POST Restful Web services

    Any examples and/or ideas into how to insert a XML or JSON style document into column with XMLtype, varchar2, clob or blob type using an Apex post restful web service? I don't want to use SQL loader, external tables or something that requires a directory in the database server.
    Oracle Apex 4.2
    Apache tomcat 7 web server
    Oracle Apex Listener 2.0
    Oracle database 11.2.0.3
    thank you!

    MK,
    I am able to insert into a table the following json document;
    {"name": "John", "age": "21"}
    Here is the code behind it.
    <code>
    create table students (
    name varchar2(100),
    age varchar2(100));
    begin
    insert into students(name, age)
    values(:name, :age);
    end;
    </code>
    This works, But the following will fail,
    {"name": "John", "age": "21"}, {"name": "Mary", "age": "22"}.
    I would like to load the document into memory and insert into a table.

  • Error with web service SRT: Unexpected failure in SOAP processing occurred:

    Hello,
      I get the following error with a web service

    Any ideas on how to solve this ?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    I think the WSDL file shared with you and the soap message you are getting are a mismatch.
    Try to check the soap message xml format and see if matches the ouputs tags structure in WSDL file.
    Thanks & Rgds,

  • Trouble shooting apex application calling web-service reference

    Hi,
    I am developing an APEX application which calls a web-service reference. i am looking for ideas as to how to log necessary information for trouble shooting.
    i already thought about this -
    1. the response from the web-service is displayed to the user (via a collection object).
    but the issue is i want the administrator (who logs in at a later time) to see that an error occurred or what was the response from the web-service.
    Is there any in-built way of accessing this information (is it first of all stored somewhere automatically ?). the one possible solution i see is to create a table and log the info into this table along with user and session id.
    any ideas / pointers will greatly help me.
    Regards,
    Ramakrishnan

    It looks like you won't be able to test web service calls on apex.oracle.com. see this WebService on apex.oracle.com

  • Calling a web service from a portal application / SOAP Action

    Hallo,
    Daniel Dehnhard

    Hi,
      I am accessing a web service from a Portal Component through a Portal Web Service. First i created a web service, then a portal web service which is made to access the wsdl file of the web service. Now i access the Portal Web Service from a Portal Component. Now i am getting an error as,
    Exceptionjava.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The SOAP Action "" include in the soap request not corresponding to the Portal service method.
    The code which i wrote in component is below
    String text = "word";
    FuncHelloResponse res=new FuncHelloResponse();
    FuncHello fn= new FuncHello() ;
    fn.setName(text);
    res= (  (INewPortal) PortalRuntime.getRuntimeResources().getService(INewPortal.KEY)).FuncHello(fn);
    response.write(res.getResponse());
    Can any one solve this problem?

  • Web Service Model ---javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException

    Hi Experts,
                     I am working with webservices model Using NWDS 7.013. One application (webservice model) was developed in old portal server after that portal server was scrapped. XI server only available now. Currently i have a new server. I import into that application into My NWDS using the New server.
    Refering the below thread
    Re: Problem calling XI WebServices from WebDynpro Java
    I added following code in the component controller before execute the model
    req._setUser("username"); (eg. user_XI)
    req._setPassword("password"); (eg. password_XI)
    while executing the model in the component controller the following exception will be occured
    javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException
    How can i rectify this? anything i am going to create JCO in SLD or any configuration going to create Visual administrator? Please give me your valuable suggestions....

  • Consume web service in ABAP proxy with SOAP header

    Hi Thomas ,
    I am trying to consume web service in  ABAP . I have followed the procedure from one of your web blog <a href="/people/thomas.jung3/blog/2004/11/17/bsp-a-developers-journal-part-xiv--consuming-webservices-with-abap a Developer's Journal Part XIV - Consuming WebServices with ABAP</a> . (640 release).
    I need to pass SOAP header along with SOAP body. As you mentioned I have used if_wsprotocol_ws_header interface to pass header but it is still failing.
    Please see below code and please give some direction to fix the issue.
    1.Create ABAP proxy for WSDL (http://ws.strikeiron.com/SwanandMokashi/StockQuotes?WSDL). It has created structures only for SOAP body.
    2.Create Logical port
    3.Create following program to call proxy

  • Web Service Proxy error: "No operation found using soap keys"

    I'm trying to use the new tools, and having a little trouble. Not many results when searching for this error message.
    I have developed and deployed a new Java web service proxy using the outside-in approach according to the [help docs|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/EN/46/7f2fef88190ad3e10000000a11466f/frameset.htm] (PI 7.1 SP07, NWDS 7.1 CE SP09 PAT0000). Started with a Service interface in ESR, then generated a java bean skeleton into a new EJB project in NWDS, then wrote business logic and deployed.
    When I test the web service (with 3 different SOAP test clients) I get the same error, below:
         <faultstring>com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.server.additions.exceptions.ProcessException:

    (continued from above post)
    And my implementation bean looks like this (unimportant lines removed):
    package nexeninc.pi.ll.spmat._100;
    @SessionHandlingDT(enableSession = false)
    @AuthenticationDT(authenticationLevel = AuthenticationEnumsAuthenticationLevel.BASIC)

                   generated.SpmatJdbcReceiverProxy spmat_jdbc_receiver_proxy) {
              System.out.println("Starting siISyncSPMATJDBCReceiverProxy.");
    When we first created the new endpoint in NWA, we tried asigning a new name for both "Service Endpoint Name" and "In New Service", and we received this error.
    We then deleted the endpoint and created another new one, setting "Service Endpoint Name" to match the portName in the implementation bean: "SI_I_Sync_SPMAT_JDBC_Receiver_Proxy_Port", but that didn't work either. The only option we enabled in the endpoint was HTTP authentication: User ID/Password.
    My ejb-j2ee-engine.xml and application-j2ee-engine.xml are both empty (but they exist).
    I am new to EJBs and JAX-WS so hopefully it's something simple. All help appreciated!
    Apologies for the long (and wide) post.

    Neither the simple "setter" methods work.. :(
    The php client side:
    $string="aladar";
    $client->setSample($string);
    $return = $client->getSample();
    The server side:
    public String sample;
    public String getSample() {
    return sample;
    public void setSample(String a_sample) {
    sample = a_sample;
    Any ideas?

  • Java Web Service Access SOP Header and SOAP Body

    Hi
    I am newbie to Web Service. I had a Java class and I converted it to Web Service(LoginWebService has methods login, register).
    Now my client is accessing my web services and calling methods login and register.
    Now I want to add few values in SOAP header in client side.
    My Questions:
    1. How can I access the SOAP headers and SOAP Body in my Server Web Service method implementations?
    2. Is there any API that I have to use?
    3. Does anyone have any sample code for these things?
    Thanks

    Seems like the exception handling logic is not sound - but your posting is difficult to read. Please use the *\* tag to mark and end source code snippets.
    Have a look at the sample code in {message:id=4205205} - does a SOAP call using PL/SQL only.

  • ADF Web Services 11g - how to change SOAP message

    Hey,
    Can I affect on SOAP structure?
    When we call web service, next soap message is generated:
    <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:ns="http://hr/crosig/ws/osigurateljnidokument/OsigurateljniDokument.wsdl"; xmlns:ns1="http://hr/crosig/ws/osigurateljnidokument/OsigurateljniDokument.wsdl/types/"; xmlns:ns2="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <env:Header/>
    <env:Body>
    <ns:unos>
    <ppol>
    <ns1:kratkiopis/>
    <ns1:premijado/>
    <ns1:sifraklauzule/>
    <ns1:datumpocetka/>
    </ppol>
    <res_out>
    <ns1:kratkiopis ns2:nil="true"/>
    <ns1:premijado ns2:nil="true"/>
    <ns1:sifraklauzule ns2:nil="true"/>
    <ns1:datumpocetka ns2:nil="true"/>
    <ns1:vinkulacije ns2:nil="true"/>
    </res_out>
    </ns:unos>
    </env:Body>
    </env:Envelope>
    and we get next error:
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'UTF-8'?>
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <soapenv:Body>
    <soapenv:Fault>
    <faultcode>soapenv:Server</faultcode>
    <faultstring>BEA-380001: Internal Server Error</faultstring>
    <detail>
    <con:fault xmlns:con="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/context">

    </con:location>
    </con:fault>
    </detail>
    </soapenv:Fault>
    </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    We send next SOAP message and then everything works fine (just removed ns1):

    <vinkulacije ns2:nil="true"/>
    </res_out>
    </ns:unos>
    </env:Body>
    </env:Envelope>
    But I don't know how can we affect on SOAP message? I don't see any parameter or something what can I set to change SOAP message...
    Tnx.

    And when we call web service from proxy classes, then different SOAP message was sent , and that SOAP message is ok, too:

  • OTN Live Web Services problem, mismatched WSDLs and Soap RPC reply

    I've tried to connect to all those OTN Live Web Services using webMethods and found there might be a mismatched WSDLs and Soap RPC problem in Oracle side. There is a discussion thread of this: http://www.wmusers.com/wmusers/messages/116/904.shtml
    Is there anyone out there encounters the same problem and agree that Oracle should fix this ? Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi Mike,
    I've just downloads all 5 WSDL and tried each single one of them again. The following are the results of the test.
    Result (OK): this is the success case
    Result (0): this is the "OTN Authentication Failure" and I cannot tell if it works if input is correct.
    Result (1): this is the error I've mentioned in the previous message and I'll give you more details later.
    Result (2): this is the "No Serializer found" exception:
    java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No Serializer found to serialize a
    'org.w3c.dom.Element' using encoding style 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/'.
    -- IOTNMobileWrapperPortType
    getStatusByMsgID (OTN Authentication Failure)
    getStatusesByMsgIDs (1)
    getSupportedTransports (1)
    getVersion (1)
    sendText (1)
    sendTextMsg (1)
    -- OTNDeptEmpPortType
    getDeptInfoArray (OK)
    getDeptInfoXML (2)
    getDeptNoArray (OK)
    getDeptXML (2)
    getEmpInfoArray (OK)
    getEmpInfoXML (2)
    getEmpNoArray (OK)
    getEmpXML (2)
    -- IOTNGUIDGeneratorPortType
    getGUID (1)
    -- IOTNHelloWorldPortType
    getAvailableLanguages (1)
    getDefaultHelloWorld (1)
    getHelloWorld (1)
    -- IOTNNewsPortType
    getRss (1)
    Let me explain what happens in error case (1):
    webMethods construct the "targetOutSignature" for the client base on the WSDL.
    After the reply message retrieved, it tries to "conform" (validate) it against the "targetOutSignature".
    Whenever I get this exception, I can open the exception details and actually see that the reply xml has been received but with the error message of "Output parameters do not conform to targetOutputSignature".
    If I manually remove the "targetOutputSignature" from the generated client, so that webMethods won't try to "conform" the reply message against the one described in the original WSDL, it works perfectly.
    I hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide.
    Thanks.
    - Louis
