ApexLib and Implementing in-field validation the simple way.

Hello again,
I have installed and configures ApexLib and attempted to do what was just answered, but I put it on the back burner until I could get a few other problems solved. What put me on hold utilizing ApexLib was a message about t20Messages not being found. Once I get these other issues resolved, I will revisit ApexLib, but since I did mention it, any help with the following error would be great... Not so important, but good to know how to get fixed and implemented.

This is a different field test being conducted, but the error is the same... a pop-up being displayed instead of a in line message.
Anyone who has time, a pointer would be appreciated, although, until I am on track with some other issues, it is not on my priority list as being terribley important to me right now.

I am using weblogic 8.1 and MyEclipse 5.1.1. I am deploying my ear application through MyEclipse 5.1.1 as an ear file.
When I ran the following EJB QL:
SELECT OBJECT(p) FROM Product p.category = ?1
I get the following error:
n relation Category-Product, a cmr-field and a cmp-field on the bean are using the same name. The names of cmr and cmp fields must be unique.
It is basically complaining that I have a field
<cmr-field>
                         <cmr-field-name>category</cmr-field-name>
                    </cmr-field>
in my ejb-jar.xml and also the same category in the
<cmp-field><field-name>category</field-name></cmp-field>
field. The problem is that if I changed the value of the cmr-field, I have to add a get and set in my productLocal.java and when you do that you have to do the same in the ejb-jar.xml.

cmr field which is "category" in ur mapping , u can't use as cmp field in abstract schema mapping. just remove category from cmp field . and every thing is fine

Ya know what I'm on a brand new MBP just about 24 hours old and you know whats been working amazingly for me. I have a 27inch iMac as well and i've just connected it to my network and been dragging files and apps across the network onto my new MBP. Its really working fast and its flawless. You could always do that option, Just go into sharing options and turn them on for both Macs. Then just click and drag. Of course they have to both be on the same network for this to be possible.
Look at my network.
Shared is what your looking at. I click on there see all my computers files and then drag the ones i want form its folder to my MBP folders. Hope that helps if your looking for a very simple way on a wireless network.

I am ok with the vertical way, but I don't like the very sensible horizontal way. Do someone know a way to block the vertical move only and keep the move of the horizontal way? The only way I found blocked all the moves.

Je ne vois pas l'utilité du mouvement horizontale (gauche-droite, droite-gauche) et pire encore, par mégarde je fais trop souvent bouger ainsi mon texte et cela m'embête, même me dérange beaucoup. Même que cela me donne même mal au coeur hahahahahaha!
Par contre, ma souris précédente avait le mouvement de défilement du haut en bas et bas en haut et cela par contre m'est très utile. Je voudrais donc savoir s'il existe un moyen de stopper le mouvement de côté mais conserver tout de même la fonction du mouvement haut-bas et bas-haut avec le simple toucher de la souris. Hi Karen,
Sounds like OS X has lost the association between Pages and its files.
Start by quitting Pages, then going to Finder.
In Finder, locate a .pages file. Click on it (once), then press command-I (eye, not one) to Get Info.
In the Info window that opens, expand the Open With section.
In this section, click on the pop-up menu and choose Pages (even if Pages is already shown).
Click the Change All button to associate all files with the .pages extension with Pages.
Close the info window.
Double click any .pages file to check that Pages will now launch and open the file.

I suspect you have a newer iMac than the pre-2006 models this forum covers (the forum labels are unbelieveably vague). If you can confirm that yours is newer than 2005, I can ask the Hosts to move you the the forum for current iMacs, which gets many more views.

Yes, there are some requirements for certificates in Expressway.
Expressway Core (Exp-C)
- Can be signed by either External or Internal CA
- Better to use a cluster name even if you start with 1 peer in Exp-C cluster. In the future, if more peers are added, changes would be minimal.
- Better to use FQDN of cluster as CN of certificate, this way the traversal zone configuration on Expressway-E won't require any change even if new peers are added to Exp-C cluster.
- If CUCM is mixed mode, include security profile names (in FQDN format) as Subject Alternate Names
- The Chat Node Aliases that are configured on the IM and Presence servers. They will be required only for Unified Communications XMPP federation deployments that intend to use both TLS and group chat. (Note that Unified Communications XMPP federation will be supported in a future Expressway release). The Expressway-C automatically includes the chat node aliases in the CSR, providing it has discovered a set of IM&P servers.
- For TLS b/w CUCM, IM-P & Exp-C
+ If using self-signed certificates on CUCM, IM/P. Load Cisco Tomcat, cup, cup-xmpp certificates from IM-P on Exp-C. Load callmanager, Cisco Tomcat certificates from CUCM on Exp-C.

User enters a page displaying records of some kind that can be edited, or an option to create a new one. User clicks create, is taken to a new data entry form. Before entering any data, the user decides he isn't interested, and clicks the cancel button.
The problem I'm having is that I'm getting messages that required fields have no values. I have found several references on this forum that setting the submitButton attribute unvalidated="true" will turn off client side validation. Here's what my submitButton looks like:
<submitButton text="Cancel" event="success" unvalidated="true"/>
But I am still getting errors, such as:
JBO-27014: Attribute ListName in DealerListAppModule.WebDlrListsView1 is required
Now I have also seen references in the forums to turning off server side validation by overriding the validatModelUpdates method in the DataAction. I have done this too. No luck.
Any ideas why this isn't working? I have seen other posts in the forums stating that there were improvements in JDev 10.1.2 that caused a create but not insert, where you could just navigate away from the page you were on, without having to worry about rolling back the create of a new record. I am also not seeing this behavior either. I am using 10.1.2, completely updated, but when I execute a create, if I navigate back from the create page to the original one without saving (i had to fool with this to get it to work because of the validation problems above), I am still seeing the blank, created record in my rowset. I originally created my project in 9.0.5.2, but am now using 10.1.2, and having migrated the project.
So what's the deal? What's the definitive way to turn off both client side and server side validation, and what's the status of this create but not insert functionality?

Haven't worked with this but possibly this method of "deactivation" is not valid in 11gR2? Have you cross checked that with Oracle support?

How can I have multiple fields on the left and one large field on the right?

I'm trying to conserve space on a form. I have five "pass/fail" fields on the left and would like a large free text field to the right. This will be an area to comment on the "pass/fail" section. When I add the multi-line text box, it moves all my "pass/fail" mulitple selection boxes.
Any advice?

Purchase requisition and Purchase order fields in the APO system

I have to develop a report in the APO system for which material id needs to be linked with purchase order and purchase requisition fields. I am not able to locate the table to pick these fields.Please anyone can tell which table,FM or BAPI to use.

You should be able to retrieve the PegID for this particular material/plant combination using /SAPAPO/DM_PEGID_GET_MATERIAL and then using OM LC Get data you should be able to retrieve all the order categories you need for the report.
