Api for Cisco feature navigator

I am curious to know if there’s any API’s (SOAP, REST or NBI) available
to access Cisco Feature Navigator from external system to automate some of
our software development.

Feature is not shown in cisco feature navigator

Good morning,
I came to important problem regarding cisco feature navigator. I was looking for particular features (I'd like to implement in near future) in particular Cisco IOS images (I have on my network) and I found out, that cisco feature navigator doesn't show some features as present in some images even though commands for configuration of these features seem available. One such feature is DHCP snooping on c2960x-universalk9-mz.150-2.EX3.bin IOS. If I try to look it up in feature navigator, I see that this particular feature isn't present (please take a look at attached file). When I go into console of particular device with that image, there are commands like:
SW1#show ip dhcp snooping
Switch DHCP snooping is disabled
DHCP snooping is configured on following VLANs:
none
DHCP snooping is operational on following VLANs:
none
DHCP snooping is configured on the following L3 Interfaces:
SW1#show ip dhcp snooping binding
MacAddress IpAddress Lease(sec) Type VLAN Interface
Total number of bindings: 0
available.
Is it usual that there can be slight discrepancies when comparing reality with cisco feature navigator?

thanks for your reply, but I'm afraid we misunderstood each other. My question wasn't related to DHCP snooping configuration as such, It was related to problem, that Cisco feature navigator reports DHCP snooping as unavailable in particular IOS regardless of fact, that particular IOS allows me to enter commands for DHCP snooping configuration. If I had this problem with one particular feature, It would be no problem for me to verify absence or presence of that feature in particular IOS by configuring that feature. But what if I have ten IOSes and 12 features and I want to know whether these IOSes are able to run these features? It seems as huge burden for me to configure all the features on all the IOSes in order to determine whether they're capable of these features.

Could I use MBSSID on Cisco 851W? Feature Navigator Says "Yes"

I have looked at the Cisco Feature Navigator and according to the output with IOS 12.4(15)T1 thru T13 there is support for multiple SSID's and the feature "Multiple Basic Service Set ID" should be supported.
When I try to invoke that command mbssid on my Dot11 interface I get 'Invalid' response.
? Help shows no commands like this either.
Am I missing something here? Is the Feature Navigator misleading me or am I doing something wrong?
All I want to do is broadcast both SSID's that I currently have configured. Currently only one guest mode SSID is allowed and broadcast.

Hi Daniel,
MBSSID feature is not supported on 851W. You can verify this by entering the command "show controllers Dot11Radio 0" on your router which will give you the number of MBSSIDs supported is 1.
You can also refer to the data sheet given below:

Hence you can broadcast only one SSID at a time on 851W.

You can try to synchronize between two SQL Databases using the Sync Framework SDK and a Windows Azure worker role.You can also use the Sync Framework to write a console application to synchronize Windows Azure SQL Database with on-premises SQL Servers.

I need API for Narrator in Ease of Access

Hi,
I need to see if Narrator accessibility is on/off. (Only on WP 8.1)
How can it be done? Is there any API for this?
I was googling for a long time and can't see anything.

While I recognize the potential for abuse, an API for determining whether or not Narrator is running would be very useful for developing accessible apps that work across devices.
In my limited experience developing the test application for a Cordova accessibility plugin on Windows Phone 8.1, I can provide a couple good reasons for providing a way to detect if Narrator is running.
Aria live regions simply don’t appear to work on Windows Phone 8.1. If you test any web pages that use live regions, Narrator on Windows Phone fails to announce changes to the live region.
Live regions seem to work on the desktop, but are harder to work with for providing text to speech for complex interactions than the Windows.Media.SpeechSynthesis API. For example:
It’s difficult to stop speaking a live region update. Once, a screen reader starts speaking a string from a live region, removing the text node or replacing it with an empty string will not stop speaking that string.
I’ve implemented "speak" and "stop" methods to speak or stop speaking a string of text in my Cordova accessibility plugin for Windows, but without knowing whether or not Narrator is on or off, the methods will work all the
time, even when Narrator is off, which is not desirable.
Cordova apps are often developed to use gestures for navigation. The pointer event listeners that respond to these gestures may not be accessible when Narrator is active, in which case is important to provide an alternate mode of navigation. Windows
Phone already provides an example of this; if you scroll to the bottom of the start screen, there is a button that navigates to the application list, which may be there for accessibility, because the two-finger swipe gesture to access the application
list may not be easily discoverable to someone using Narrator.

GWT meets Flex: Java API for Flex

I m somedays away to release the version 2.1 of gwt4air. gwt4air is an open source project based on gwt (http://code.google.com/webtoolkit/) and provides a Java API to different platform where Java is not the primary language.
Version 2.0 added among other features support for Adobe AIR, Alive PDF, Pure PDF, Aswing and other GWT based UI libraries like EXT-GWT
With version 2.1 i added support for Flex(AIR and Browser). The goal of this approach is to make it easy for Java Developers to switch to Flex be leveraging a swing like API. But also to present an alternative to the classical Flex developement. The overall idea behind this is described here:

I ve tried to keep the API similar to the AS3 api so one could easely switch from AS3 to Java and vice versa

Most popular api for modifying excel spreadsheets?

I googled a bit and it seems like POI and jexcel are the most popular ? I'm interested in hearing your opinions... I've tried POI and I find it OK, but I wish I had more features like copying a row and "pasting/inserting" it into another row and copying formulas and having it modified as you "paste" it to another cell.

The most popular API for manipulating Excel files is Apache POI (http://jakarta.apache.org/poi). This is an API for reading office-documents in general. For reading Excel there is the hssf subproject (http://jakarta.apache.org/poi/hssf). They also have a list of alternative projects that can be used for accessing Excel files (http://jakarta.apache.org/poi/hssf/alternatives.html)
You can also read in the excel file through the jexcel api (http://www.andykhan.com/jexcelapi/)
once you can read in the entire excel file into java, you can create your own Java object structure and go from there.

Some databases have a feature that allows you to output the result of a query as XML. But that's not standard SQL, and it probably varies from one DB to the next. Look up the documentation for your DB for more information.

I've sent interactive command "copy tftp: flash: <R>ip_address<R>asa841-k8.bin<R><R>" to my ASA using netconfig tool and recived error "Command(s) failed on the device Insufficient no. of interactive responses(or timeout) for command: copy tftp: flash: ." For Cisco Catalyst it works fine. I have a last version of CiscoWorks 4.0.1.

No, SWIM doesn't support ASDM upgrades, but what you're doing here is a system software upgrade. What you might try doing is to increase the telnet timeout for this device. Unfortunately, that feature is hidden in LMS 4.0, but see this document on how to do that:

The document talks about inventory collection, but the interface to adjust the telnet timeout is in the same location as the SNMP timeout. You'll want to time the transfer to know how long to make the timeout.
