API: how to logoff

Hello,
I use C# api to work with HFM 9.2.
I'm able to connect to an application but i don't find any method to logoff.
So I suppose that my connection is closed at the end of the execution of my program but is there a way to force a logoff?
thanks,

Are you using the smartview API?
I suggest you provide more information, so the answer is relevant to you.

  • SharePoint 2010 Rest API: How to add attachment to a list item via ListData.svc

    Hi
    I have set up a project using the REST API in c# Visual Studio 2010.
    I have added a service reference to the URL //site/_vti_bin/listdata.svc/
    I can query the list and get back data, but I can't retrieve the attachments.
    I can write data to the list, but I can't add attachments.
    Are there any examples of how to add or retrieve attachments using the REST API services.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    If you want to work with list attachments using REST API, here are some links will show how to do this using Javascript:

  • OIM11gR2 - API - how to create accounts and link them to an oim user

    hi,
    my problem is the following:  I would like to import a lot(1000+) of different service accounts to my oim system and link them to oim users.
    at the moment, the information which service-account belongs to which person is stored in a textfile.
    I use this API code to create accounts:
    ProvisioningService service=getClient().getService(ProvisioningService.class);
    ApplicationInstanceService service=getClient().getService(ApplicationInstanceService.class);
    ApplicationInstance appInstance=service.findApplicationInstanceByName("LinuxServer001");
    FormInfo formInfo=appInstance.getAccountForm();
    String formKey=String.valueOf(formInfo.getFormKey());
    AccountData accountData=new AccountData(formKey,null,null);
    Account account=new Account(appInstance,accountData);
    account.setAccountType(Account.ACCOUNT_TYPE.Primary);
    service.provision(userKey, account);
    this works fine! the account is displayed in the section  "user accounts", but the status of the created account is "Provisioning".
    when I reconcile this linux server, oim doesn't establish a link between the service account on the target system and the created account! why?
    how can i solve my problem? which information is missing, to establish a link between an existing account on a target system and an api created account?
    thank you!
    br,

    Thanks, Brian, for your support! - It's working.
    It's hard to understand why NI did not pass this parameter to the top of the call chain...
    I also needed some time to understand the syntax of the string passed to the subaddress node:
    The name of the worksheet needs to be framed by single quotation marks and the following cell address must preceeded by an exclamation point (!).
    A working link pointing to cell "A1" of "Worksheet 1" looks like:
    'Worksheet 1'!A1
    Maybe also of interest: If you want to point the link to a worksheet inside the document itself, the parameter "address" (URL of link - href) can be left empty.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • How to LogOff Users Automatically in Planning ?

    Folks,
    do you have any idea about how can we Logoff all the users automatically in Planning.
    the method i know is by going to the Planning web-Application settings and Switch to Administrator.
    But I want to get this done Automatically for application maintanance and nightly backups.
    any thought would be highly appreciated.

    We had a similar scenario where we had to logoff users from planning app on the essbase side to run a cube fresh.
    We have a job that would accomplish the tasks in the following order:
    1. kill requests on planning app
    2. Disable connects to the planning app
    3. unlock all objects
    4. run a cube refresh and security refresh from planning web(through command line using cuberefresh utility)
    5. enable connects to the planning app.
    If you wish to do it manually you can always push the planning app into maintenance mode which can be done by admin the Planning application owner.
    Hope this helps!!

    Hi all,
    I need to enable logoff from my UI5 application, based on Java EE / HCP.

    However, I'm not sure how that is performed.
    Any help or link to documentation would be greatly valued.

  • In LV, using TS API, how do I specify the VI module for a Pass/Fail step?

    I am writing a LabView VI which will let a user write a TestStand sequence. Each step in the seq is the same type, a Pass/Fail test. I need to specify for each step the LabView VI module location, and an input buffer. I am having difficulty finding out how to specify the module for the step using the TestStand API in LabView. How to do this????

    Hi Drew,
    I think Dennis might have come at this from the wrong angle.
    Have a look at the example that ships with TestStand under
    \Examples\SequenceBuilderTool\LabVIEW
    This might give some clues, but I'd suggest posting this question over to the TestStand discussion Forum as suggested by Dennis.
    There'll be a few more people there who can help a bit more in-depth
    My personal suggestion is to create a custom step type that calls the .vi's and then you can create the steps in a new sequence file using your tool easily. This could be cumbersome for you if you already have a lot of steps setup.
    Better then to create a resource to get the steps out of to clone them by creating a sequence file which is full of your steps. When you have a handl
    e to a cloned step, you can change properties about it in memory, before putting it into the sequence (i.e. change it's name and stuff)
    Otherwise you need to get the type and create a new step of this type.
    If all you're stugling with is the module to call, then for the step you have a handle to, change the
    you can either change the "Step.TS.SData.ViPath" as a string (TestStand set property value String with a reference to the sequence_context) or if you wanted to bring up the specify module dialog, if you have a handle to the step itself, call the method SpecifyModule.
    Hope that helps

  • E-Commerce API: how to retrieve product tags?

    Does anyone know how to get the tags for a product using the e-commerce API? By product tags I mean the tags that can be added to a product so they can be listed by tag. I know I can get product attributes, but my client has been using tags (before attributes were available), and now I need to be able to retrieve them through the API.
    Thanks!

    I've not used it but it seems (at least looking at the sample output) that the tags come down as a string.

  • Transmit API: How to send video to another running app.

    Hi,
    I'm not a programmer so excuse my ignorance.
    Just trying to scope a project.
    We'd like to get a live video output from Premiere to use in another app.
    The idea is to use a video stream from Premiere as a texture map for a navigable 3d model.
    It's for doing really rough 3d previs work.
    We have an existing version of the 3d previs app that does the same thing with imported quicktime movies.
    But our coder has not used the Premiere SDK before.
    Wondering if we can use Transmit somehow... to treat our app as an external monitor.
    Any pointers on how to go about this... or better still... is there anyone out there who might be up for helping us on this (low-budget but paid) project?
    Many thanks
    Marcus Lyall

    Hi Marcus,
    Yes, the Mercury Transmit API sounds like way to go for you.  I'd recommend starting from the sample project "Transmitter".  Build it into the PPro plug-ins folder (as described in the SDK Guide.pdf documentation, chapter 1, "How To Build the SDK Projects").  Your developer can set breakpoints in the transmit sample code and run a debug session with PPro, to observe how transmit plug-ins are called, and what kind of information they are passed.  It sounds like you won't working with audio, so you can just turn that off in the sample.  Chapter 9 of the SDK Guide has much more info on concepts in the transmit API.

  • DTR API, how to access DTR server from own program?

    Hello Expert,
    we have a requirement to download some source code from the DTR server using our own program (not the SAP standard DTR Client integrated in NWDS). My question is: does SAP provide some kind of API for accessing DTR server?
    I know there is a command line DTR client, but what we need is to send the command to DTR server from our own program to download some source code, after download our program will  then process the source code.
    Anyone has idea how that would work? The best is that SAP provides API to access DTR server. Not sure if we can call the command line DTR client from our program (technical should be fine, but this is not the best way).
    Appreciate any input.
    Thanks
    Jayson

    Hi Jayson,
    If your program language of your own program supports opening files with an URL name and saving those files locally, you can use the WebDAV protocol to access the DTR.
    But beware of developing your own DTR client implementation: all the handling of activities - propagation lists - inactive/active workspaces - (blob) metadata - versions - integrations of activities, etc. sounds to me very tricky.
    If your programming language of your own program supports executing OS-commands, try executing the DTR tool located in the tools directory of NWDS. It supports executing a list of DTR commands listed in a script file. Perhaps this satifies your needs.
    Hope this helps your decision making.

    Alain.

  • Java XML Digital Signature API, how to sign different files

    Hello,
    I need to sign several files: binary and/or xml (in some cases just part of xml), and to implement digitla signatures in xAdes standard. So I'm looking to use Java XML Digital signature API, but can't find any examples, that would cover issues I encountered:
    How to sign binary file?
    Just to sign some simple "aaa.png" file and have it's signature in XML. How in right way to create referece?
    (should it be something like: Reference ref = fac.newReference("aaa.png", fac.newDigestMethod(DigestMethod.SHA1, null), null, null, null); )
    And how to pass file for signing? what to add/change to this code:
    Document doc = dbf.newDocumentBuilder().parse(new FileInputStream("aaa.png"));
    DOMSignContext dsc = new DOMSignContext(keyEntry.getPrivateKey(), doc.getDocumentElement());
    (I have only found some information about needing to "dereference" or so - but no examples, how to make things work.)
    How to sing several different files?
    As I wrote before, several files needs to be signed, but in all examples, it's only one Document object (and only one file), how/where to add more files and if API will be capable to deal with such thing?
    In one of examples what I have to achive was such code:
    <Reference URI="aaa.png" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#">
    <DigestMethod Algorithm="http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#sha1" />
    <DigestValue>8rl/xzjAnE4yQQ2LTBvFTU2JH+c=</DigestValue>
    </Reference>
    If I do write code like: "fac.newReference("aaa.png", <...> );
    I'll get an error during signing: signature.sign(dsc);
    *"java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: aaa.png"*
    How to avoid this?
    Also, from exmaple (what to reach) above:
    <Reference URI="aaa.png" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#">
    There is additional attribute "xmlns=<...>" - the question is if it is possible to add it by XMLSignatureFactory.newReference ?
    Java API adds a lot of prefixes "ds:" , like:
    <...>
    <ds:Reference URI="file:/D:/try5/SignableMetadata0.xml">
    <ds:Transforms>
    <ds:Transform Algorithm="http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#enveloped-signature" />
    </ds:Transforms>
    <...>
    Is it possible to avoid them?
    Any help on any of these questions would be very appreciated
