Applying Conditions doesn't work

Hi All,
First off we are running BI7 EHP1
We have a simple BI7 query with a few chars in the rows and a couple of key figures in the columns one of which is number of working days to process. I am trying to create some conditions that show me the records that fall between 1 to 5 days, 6 to 10, 11 to 20 and greater than 20. However these do not work properly for some reason.
I have set the "Characteristic Assignment" to "All Characteristics in the Drilldown Independently" and chosen several of the operators for threshold value conditions. But it doesn't seem to make any difference.
To make things clearer for people to understand, this query is being run from a 3.x Web Template if that makes any difference.
I hope someone can explain to me what is going on and how to fix this if possible. Seems like a simple thing to do but proving to be otherwise.

Please try to run the query by using T-code RSRT and see that your query gives the desired output or not.
If in case it gives then we can investigate further that problem is with 3.x web template.Based on that we can try to fix the issue.

Once Try checking as pavan suggested whether the Customizing requested is transported.
To Maintain Workflow start conditions you can also maintain through SWB_COND and ensure its transported.

Fighting with BI Publisher: Condition doesn't work

Hi all,
I hope someone an help me, because I am fighting with BI Publisher since 3 days.
I have a template with a table (it's a kind of matrix) where the columns are VL1, VL2, VL3. The rows are Count with value '1', Count with value '2'. The BI Publisher works with Siebel.
The idea is:
- for each Campaign on the Campaign Applet:
- if the value under VL1 is '1' on the Contact Applet (all contacts for the campaign are shown on the applet below the Campaign Applet):
- count all the records on the Contact Applet where the conditon is met (VL1=1)
The result is set on the cell of the pair (VL1 / Count with Value '1') of the table in my .rtf template.
So, I created the table but by counting the application counts all records no matter if it equals '1' or not.
On the cell of the Pair (VL1 / Count with Value '1') I added this condition for the text CountVL1 on the cell:

it doesn't work out.
Is there something wrong? could anybody help me please? :-(

- What do you mean by 'it doesnt work'? If ScoreL1 is equal to 1 then count(Contactid) does not return a value?
it returns a value, but it returns the number of all records and not the number of only the records where the condition is met (ScoreL1 = 1).
- 1. For both ScoreL1 and Contactid you need to check if the values are accessible from the table cell the condition is in. By that I mean that if the processor is laying out a table with data from one part of the data tree and you suddenly say get me ScoreL1 and its somewhere else. It may not be able to fetch the value. To check, just remove the if and see if the values are returned
For the variables ScoreL1 and ContactId the values were fetched. But I guess it doesn't give as result the correct data.
ScoreL1 is a Text. In the Applet ScoreL1 can have the values 1, 2, 3, or 4.
I replaced the condition with number(Contactid) but it gives me only Java errors and the HTML Side is not shown:

V 6... "Apply" button doesn't work

Have read some posts for similar problem...but they don't exactly fit!    My Blackberry Storm sometimes connects to desktop software and reports 18 MB free application memory but also shows pending Core App update of 33.8 MB (too big!) and also I need to remove and reinstall a particular app...but the "APPLY" button at lower right won't do anything when clicked!
The core app update tries to be "pending" no matter what.....I show 18 MB free application memory and the bar graph shows about 7/8 grey and last 1/8 is blue. Also see the message "..exceeded available space by 0 bytes" (I think this means I have not exceeded the available space yet..!)   I have read other posts that say if available application memory is already 0 or exceeded there should be a warning message and that can inhibit the "APPLY" button action....again this doesn't seem to be my case.
Running V 6.1.0.35 on a pretty new Windows 7 64-bit desktop PC.   Desktop Software seemed to install OK and opens, reports existing applications on my BB, etc.
From time to time the USB connection to my BB Storm seems erratic---get the rising tone signal and the falling tone signal for "connect" and "disconnect" several times in rapid succession. Have only the USB cable that came with the BB and my USB ports otherwise seem OK.

You mean you're not being able to connect your phone with vehicle via Bluetooth!! Try connecting your device with other Bluetooth enabled phone. This is to check that your device's Bluetooth is working fine. If that is possible then there must be some issue with your Bluetooth.
Can you please confirm that your Bluetooth is in discoverable mode?? to check that go to Bluetooth > Options > Discoverable: Yes.

My "APPLY" Button doesn't work

I hit "apply" to have my nano capture different playlists. The software on the computer says it's updating and my nano does nothing (no circle....nothing). The nano will even move through the various categories. It appears nothing is getting to the nano. However, when I first attach it, it updates fine.
As is, I can't update any new playlists. Any help?

Manual Price Conditions doesn't determine the new exchange rate in billing

Hallo People
We are using TAXBRJ in our company and sometimes is used a manual condition to determinate a price. The process is a exportation and is used exchange rate USD to BRL . When we create a billing (VF01) with copy of delivery the exchange rate dosen't update with the rate of the day.
We made the following analyses :
- For Automatic Conditions the redetermination(update) of exchange rate is updated correctly, don't have problems.
- On the copy control delivery to billing, the exchange rate determination was set to carry the date of the day on PricingExchRate type (Type E "Exchange rate determination according to current date" because that the automatic conditions work correctly).
- I was tried change the copy control to pick the billing date ( Type C "Exchange rate determination according to billing date", but doesn't work. In the category item we put the Pricing dategual like billing date, but doesn't work too.
- In the first VF01 display we put manually the pricing date but to manual condition doesn't work.
I found just one note about copy condittion to billing and exchange rate, but this note is only for sap 4.7, and we sap version is 6.0.
I'd like to confirm if to manual conditions will haven't the redetermination of exchange rate on the billing, and I'd like to know if exist some note about this; Or I will have to make some development to redeterminate this rate?

The field where the problem happened is KOMV-KKURS, and the system is proposing the exchange rate according to M. As I said, the problem just occur when a Price is entered manually is sales order. When we make the VF01, to others conditions carry the new tax rate in KOMV-KKURS is update normally, just to this manual condition don't work.
The note that I mentioned on my last thread was 97487, but will not resolve the problem.
I think that if I am using in copy control on PricingExchRatetype like Type E "Exchange rate determination according to current dateu201D should work with any condition.
When I changed the copy control on PricingExchRate type to C like show note 92613 the process don't work too.
The currency of document is BRL, just the price is typed as USD.

It doesn't work to create a heder condition.(HB00)
After BAPI, I check KONV data, HB00 data is broken.
KONV-STUNR and KONV-ZAEHK is blank.

I don't know why.

Apply in tunes doesn't work in sync to iPad

After finally having my new iPad recognised in iTunes devices,
After selecting the music I wish to sync etc. the APPLY button does not offer the choice to select (sync)
I have re installed, tried another time, backed up to iCloud, tried back up to windows,
Tried sync wifi ( which also doesn't work , and also tried ticking to do manually which also doesn't work,
I'm sure it's a simple fix but I'm out of ideas.... Please help!

Did you try highlighting the music in your library and dragging/dropping on the recognized itunes device on the side?

Condition ChooseFromList doesn't work

Multiple conditions in Query doesn't work

Hi all,
I've made a query pointing on a Multiprovider wich 's made of two main dimension ( multiple infoproviders ) :
contract and pricing and on the other hand Sales and Revenues.
In my Query, one condition's concerned by a contract & pricing key figures ( Number of pricing condition > 0 ), and another one is about a Minimum Turnover Sales & Revenues key Figures restriction( by a prompt ).
This doesn't match, Some rows are missing, and while a condition is active , the other one can't be..
If any one meet this kind of problem before ?

I already try to create another key figure wich made like this :
Number of condition * Turnover
and made a condition on this result.
But the main problem is if the contract doesn't have Turnover, it will not shown the rows with condition ..( the condition is on the single value 'number of document ) and if I put anotehr condition with number of condition > 0, it still doesn't work..

When you create an additional filter or condition on the business rule, it doesn't work on the ad hoc query. What is wrong with it?

You should save your conditions, close the window, open it again and it should work properly.

Apply conditional formatting for a textbox in a matrix that contains an expression

I have a matrix that contains one row, and one of the columns in this row (a field ) contains an expression. I know this field is "Textbox24" but anyway, I have created a placeholder for this field and in Placeholder Properties I have given the
label "PD". Note that the Value in this placeholder shows "Expr" because it contains an expression.
I don't think this is relevant, but just in case, the expression is:
=Code.GetPercentageDifferenceBetweenCurrentAndPreviousValue()
where GetPercentageDifferenceBetweenCurrentAndPreviousValue is custom code for the report which returns a decimal value. This works correctly in Preview mode.
I now want to apply conditional formatting on this field so the colour of the font changes depending on the value of the expression. I clicked on the text box of that field, and in Properties > Color > Expression > I entered
=IIF(Fields!PD.Value >= 50,"Green","Black")
When I go to Preview mode I get the error "The Color expression for the text box 'Textbox24' refers to the field 'PD'. Report item expression can only refer to fields within the current dataset scope or, if inside an aggregate, the specified
data set."
I have tried a couple of other forms of the sytax for Fields!PD.Value but it doesn't work. Is my problem a syntax problem or a scope problem, and how do I solve it?

From your description, PD is not a field so you cannot reference it as a field. You can do what you want by referring to the textbox:

To get your CD or DVD drive working correctly, try these suggestions in the order listed.
Reinstall the Driver
Hold the Windows key and press the 'x' key to open a menu in the lower-left. In this menu, select "Device Manager." Expand "DVD/CD-ROM drives." Right-click the entry for the CD/DVD drive nested under "DVD/CD-ROM drives," then select "Uninstall." Finally, restart the computer. The computer will reinstall the drivers for the drive.
Power Cycle
Even when your laptop is off and unplugged, residual power can still be held in some components. While this is normal, clearing it can help with some hardware problems. Perform these steps to complete what’s called a power cycle.
Ensure the laptop is turned off.
Unplug the laptop's AC power cable.
Unplug all wires and peripherals. This includes CDs, DVDs, USB sticks, mice, printers, and any other accessories.

First key pressed doesn't work?

Strange, but lately, I would say about 85% of the time, the first key I hit on my keyboard doesn't work. It doesn't matter what key, letter or number, it doesn't work. I'll look up at what I've typed and the first letter is always missing. It's turning into a huge nuisance and I don't think it's me not pressing hard enough or something silly like that, because it happens so very often and I certainly am not changing the way I type for the last 30 years or so.
Any ideas what could be causing it? It's as if it takes a second for the keyboard to realize it's being used and by then, I've typed on by.
I'm using the standard Apple keyboard that came with the G5, but it's not the original. This one I've had for about a year and a half.

I had your issue on two Macs for over a year. A combination of the following cleared it up for me;
Try using Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk.
You could have some directory corruption. Let us know what errors Disk Utility reports and if DU was able to repair them.
Then I Repaired Permissions in DU using the version on your hard drive.
Then I downloaded the
Combo Update, yours would be the 10.5.4 Combo
You can apply it right over the one you have now with no trouble--use the link, not Software Updates version.
Repaired Permissions and made sure all the other updates for my Mac's were up to date.
Then I went further with it, and used a utility you may not have.
I used and would recommend DiskWarrior.
After all these actions the issue I had (yours) disappeared. Some here have said one of the recent updates dealt with this agravating condition, and if so, thank you Apple!
I feel my tips are what fixed it for me. I was a big contributor to two enormous threads on this problem, and have read every post on the subject.
