I guess it is an issue with autoconfig. So i tried to run auto config manually and got the following error which I would like you to have a look at

I am getting below error while running adcfgclone on APPS tier
ERROR : Unable to set CLASSPATH
/corp_ex1/DRPM/drpmcomn/clone/bin/../jlib/classes111.zip: is missing

i copied classes111.zip from IAS_HOME to COMMON_TOP . Now I am getting below error

Error RC-10203 while running adcfgclone.pl on apps tier

Hi,
Hoping someone can help - I am new to Oracle Apps and cloning.
background:
-I have been tasked with completing the cloning steps for a development environment. I was provided source apps tier binaries (EBS 11i, 11.5.10.2) and source database binaries (10gR2, 10.2.0.5) created from a production multi-tier instance.
-The target is a two tier system (apps tier is one instance, db is other instance)
-Both instances of the target are running Red Hat 5.9 (db is 64 bit, apps tier is 32-bit)
-I have successfully restored the database
-I have successfully configured the env and tnsnames.ora on the target apps tier and connect to the database using the APPS credentials
-I do not have access to the production system nor can I ask anyone from the production side for assistance.
problem:
Getting an error when running:
$COMMOM_TOP/clone/bin/adcfgclone.pl appsTier
Throwing exception:
RC-50004: Error occurred in CloneContext:
RC-10203: The template provided does not match with the context file.
Context file creation not successful.
Any suggestions?
I've performed cloning once before, but not with these binaries. Needless to say I did not get this error last time.

How to run apps tier with out clone

Dear all
I like to know about the following scenario...
If i taken tablespace and oracle home backup from production... I dont have any changes on application side.. So let me dont wanna to take apps backup... After clone dbTier how i wanna start apps with out clone i.e without running appsTier ... Which command i wanna use for that...

If the scenerio is if you create same mount points on target system wiht same IP than you dont need to take clone on apps tier and db tier
Other way you probably get error message
By the way the other question is why you dont want to use clone future which is very easy

oraInst.loc (/etc/oraInst.loc) points to directory without permissions: /u01/app/oracle/oraInventoryPlease make sure that applmgr user has read/write/execute permission on the oraInventory directory.
Please look in to the latest OUI log file located in the central inventory /clonehot/apps/inst/apps/PROD_apps/admin/oraInventory/logs/cloneActions_<timestamp> for more detailsAny details about the error in this log file?

while running autoconfig on apps tier autoconfig failed with CLNADMPRF.SH and okladmprf.sh and autoconfig take along time to complete
ERROR:
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve service name
1- how can i solve these error ?
2- should i skip these errors and start upgrade apps from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.1 and DB from 9.2.0.8 to 11.2.0.1 ?

RW-20004 no installs found for this host Error when installing Apps tier

Hello:
Trying to install 12.1.1 on a linux x64 OS. Following is my current OS Setup:
1) Have 2 Instances or RHEL 5 Update 4 x64 each named as follows: oalin12db.apps.local & oalin12mt.apps.local
2) Both have multi user setups as follows:
a) user: oracle (501), group dba (503)
b) user: applmgr (502), group dba (503)
3) Installation of DB node successful for a Vision Instance with SID=VISN
4) Getting error "RW-20004 no installs found for this host" on apps tier. Does not matter if I use host:SID:port or copy the actual config file over and point rapidwiz to it, I get the same error.
5) checked everything as per metalink notes 605677.1 and 444870.1.
6) SELinux on Permissive mode on both instances for now.
7) Installation stage directory is local to the DB instance and is setup as an nfs mount onto the apps tier.

We have done an upgrade of our instance from 11.5.10 to 11.5.10.2 and database version from 9.2.0.5 to 11gR2.
The server is in multinode windows 2003 servers.
Now I am preparing a clone instance for the same and getting the following error while running the adcfgclone.pl on dbTier.

adcrdb.cmd INSTE8 Search the log file for this script, you should find more details about the error around the file name.
Also, please check the database log file as this script is used to create the database.

Clone error issue

Hi;
While i am doing post clone on target side for db i have this error:

I set LD_LIBRARY_PATH and i followed doc 330469.1 but error still appear
In make log file it say me:

any idea?

1. 'libjava.so not found' on adcfgclone on apps tier . I solved the issue by copying the 'jre' folder from IAS top to clone folder.
2.RC - 50004 Fatal Error on ApplyAppstier on adcfgclone on appstier.I solved it by copying the 'jdbc' folder from IAS top to clone folder.
Now I wants to know the root cause of this issue.Because I solved those issues on trial and error basis and there is no metalink note.
Can anybody pls help me to clarify the things.

We used RCP command to copy the files from source to target
In first case , already there is one jre folder and I renamed as jre.old and then copied from IAS top.
In second case , there is no jdbc folder exists already.
Will it happens if we are not in recent Autoconfig patch level ?

Opmn services doesn't start on Apps tier

Hi All,
We have issue in starting apps tier services via adstrtal.sh. It doesn't start anything other than listener and rest all opmn process timed out.
In the server I can see only
"opmn -a -q ping"
and
sh <path>/opmnct
sh <path>/adapcctl.sh
etc, but it doesn't start anything and even doesn't reach the stage where it writes in log file. No actually no log present. Its a new server and clone went well, no issues faced. But not sure what is the issue here and why it is not starting anything. I increased the time out value from 600 to 1800 in opmn.xml file for all components but no help. It keep on waiting and time out.
Server side I did check ping localhost DNS entries in /etc/resolv.conf. But everything works well.
Any clue ?

Please mention your application release along with the database version and OS.
Was this working before? If yes, any changes have been done recently?
Can you find any details about the error in the opmnctl.sh script log file?
Please run AutoConfig and make sure it completes successfully.
