Archive Viewer not showing project variables in filter conditions

Hi !
This is a strange issue. We have a full archive database. The viewer displays all the process we have deployed. We can see the contents of the archive without problems. We have also defined like 15 project variables. If we take a look at the filter conditions combo box, we only see predefined conditions for filtering. The first option of this condition is empty. If we look at the html source of this jsp page thru the browser (look for the "updateAddFAT" javascript function), we see that there is indeed java code mentioning one of our project variables in the combo box, and it its the one with no label (or blank one). So, if we choose this blank condition and complete the right value in the value text box, then the filter returns all the instances that apply to that condition using the project variables.
The problem is: we don't get all the project variables in the filter combo box. This makes the archive viewer very useless, because business users need to search archived instances filtering by project/business variables.
Anyone experienced this? Anyone is seeing correctly the project/business variables in the condition combo of the archive viewer? if you do, please share the version and patch you are using.

What I verified somehow, that if I add let's say 3 or 4 variables, it keeps showing always the same. If I remove the one that is currently loading into the combo box, then the next one in the list is displayed, but I don't understand which filter or sort criteria is using. I went deeper in the code (jsp and jar files), but still cannot indentify the root cause, because the SQL query the jar is sending to the archive database seems to be ok (it appears in the log), at least it returns all project variables in the archive database (table VARIABLE), but somehow, some internal array or list is not filled correctly.
Let's wait and if not, I will create a service request.

Just FYI, I had a problem with views not showing up when using the wizards. Reported the problem and was told it was a bug. Workaround was to create my pages from scratch and explicitly reference the tables instead of the views.
Although HTML DB could handle some views, views that were based upon other views or where there were several layers of views seem to give HTML DB a problem.

Hi Priyesh,
Are you sure youhave the web template properties open and not those of any web item in this template? If you can;t find the option you can try coding it in HTML (look at the code in the Q system and copy - paste it into your template in Dev)

Issue in using presentation variable as filter condition in the reports

I have an issue in using presentation variable as filter condition in my reports the details are as follows:
Details :
We want to implement the Max and Min variables through Presentation variables only.we do not want to implement it through session variables in this case.
We have two variables MIN and MAX to be used as Presentation Variables,for a column of the report (which is a quantity),so that the user wants to see the data for this column within a particular range.i.e the Min and the Max.This part has been implemented well . The issue is when the user wants to see the full data.In that case we will not pass any values to these two Presentation Variable or in other words we are not restricting the report data so we are not passing any value to the variables,this is when the report is throwing the error. we want to leave this variables blank in that case.but this is giving error.
Please suggest how can I overcome this issue.

i think you have to use guided navigation for this. create two reports first is the one you are having currently and second is the one in which remove the presentation variable from the column formula. i.e. the same report with no aggregation applied.
Now create a dummy report and make it return value only when the presentation variable value is not equal to max or min. guide the report to navigate between the first and second report based on the result of the dummy report.

Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Viewer Not showing when installed on 64-bit OS

Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Crystal Active X Report Viewer Control 11.5. I've got a VB .NET 2005 application that uses this control to view a Crystal Report. I created a Setup Project and added all of the required Merge Modules to it. It installs perfectly on both 32-bit & 64-bit OSes, but the viewer control does not show up when I launch my application on the 64-bit OS (it works as expected on the 32-bit OS). I've tried just about everything (including changing the target platform and using the Service Pack 6 Merge Modules among other things), but I just can't get it to work. The application doesn't error or anything, the form is just completely empty. Will this application work on a 64-bit OS?

Pivot table total on a computed column not showing when using a filter

I have this strange issue. I will try to explain.
I have three columns in my report - Delivered Qty, Opened Quantity, and the third one is computed that is (Delivered Qty - Opened Qty). The data is displayed in a table by quarter. So basically I have Quarter, Delivered Qty, Open Qty, Not Opened Qty. I also have the total row. A pie chart shows the opened vs. un-opened quantities. It all works fine.
The issue is when I add a prompt and the corresponding filter, the total for the computed field is blank. This happens whether it is pivot table or a regular table. That causes the pie chart to show 100% for the Opened qty.
When I remove the filter, it works again. I can see the total for the computed field and the pie chart looks great.
Can anyone please help me? I have a number of hours trying to play around with this and also looked in the forum to see if any one might have already discussed similar issue in the past. I could not find any.

I found the issue with my table total not showing up. Basically the new materialized view had its own data table alias. However, in the filter I was using date columns from different date table alias (copy and paste problem). As soon as I changed to the right date columns from the associated alias table, the row total showed up.

IPhone 4 iOS 4.1 - Calendar App List View Not Showing Events Immediately

After upgrading to iOS 4.1, whenever I open the calendar in List view mode the events do not show up immediately. I have to navigate to the "Day" style or "Month" style before I can see any events. All the events are viewable normally in both the "Day" & "Month" style calendar but the "List" view.
I regularly sync my iPhone with iCal events and with Google calendar. I did delete and re-added the Google account but the problem persists.
Has anyone faced this problem? I will be doing a full restore again today. My wife's iPhone 3GS is working fine with the 4.1 build of 3GS.

I have the same issue with my iPhone 3G under iOs 4.1 (8B117) with one local calendar and three Google calendars. The first time the Calendar application is loaded, if it opens in "List" view, no events are displayed. Switching to another view is enough to get the items back. In "Day" and "Month" views, the events eventually appear after some time (~5 to 10 seconds).
My boyfriend has the same problem on his iPhone 4 under iOS 4.1 (less annoying because of multi-tasking).
Hopefully this will be fixed in iOS 4.2... :-S

Data manager package log does not show Global variables!!

Hello Experts,
We are using BPC 10 sp14 Microsoft version with SQL Server 2008 R2. We are seeing an issue where datamanager package log does not show the Global variables defined in package script whereas in BPC 7.5 Global variable were visible in package log.
Please let us know is this behavior changed in BPC 10?

List view not showing all podcasts

Guys, I have the annoying problem that podcast management by itunes and the podcast app are F'ed up.
Not too lobg ago I experienced my ipad greying out most podcasts that were downloaded and on my ipad, for no reason at all. it took me 2 days fiddling with settings and ended up having to set every sync to "on" and set donwloading to "all" and "keep all podcasts"
Now I'm experiencing the problem that the "list" view in podcast app, is not showing all podcasts, but the "thumbnail" view is (as far as I can tell...). Why is this and how can I fix it to make sure both views show everything?
I'm running iOS 7.0.6 and iTunes 11.1.5

It sounds like your Podcasts app is not showing your library correctly in the List view but Thumbnail looks ok. I recommend the troubleshooting in the article named:

Restart the app
Close the app and open it again.
Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
Update your device software and your apps
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
Update your apps:
Open the App Store and tap Updates.

If asked, enter your Apple ID password. The updates will download and install.
You might need a Wi-Fi connection to update some apps.
Install another app from the App Store
If your installed app won't open, download and install a free app that isn't on your iOS device. This should reset your Apple ID authorization.
Remember to use the same Apple ID that you used to download the app that you're having issues with.
Reinstall the app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it. Remember that deleting an app also deletes its data.
Delete the app.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store and download the app again.
Wait for the app to download, then open it from the Home screen.
If the download stops, you can resume it.

CS3 - Design View not showing externally linked images

In CS3 Design View, externally linked images are not showing
up... i am only getting the place holder.
To prempt some questions:
1/ Links are correct and complete - apart from the fact that
they show up when previewing in the browser(s) - i have
crosschecked
2/ There are no spaces in the url
3/ In the 'View' menu, 'Display External Files' is checked
I had this problem before and escargo suggested saving and
rebooting. It worked then but strangely, today, that file is again
showing some of the externally linked images but not all. And on a
new file, created today, none of the externally linked images are
showing up... :(
I'm sure there's a simple solution to the problem... anyone
have any idea what it could be?

Design view not showing true design

I'm using Dreamweaver CS3, and have an issue with design
view.
I was editing the content of a page in design view, applying
styles from my main.css, when the page I was working on suddenly
lost all its styles, including heading & paragraph styles, and

is the side navigation, although the background image for the side

The good news:
1. The CSS Styles inspector on each page shows it is attached
to the main.css, but lists only three styles under that style
sheet, all of which are named 'td img'.
2. The main.css itself looks fine. All my styles are still
there.
3. When I preview my site in a browser, it looks as it
should, so presumably it IS still attached to the style sheet, it's
just not showing properly when I'm working on it.
Any clues as to what's going on?
As I'm sure everyone says, this is kind of urgent, so any
help anyone can offer will be very gratefully received!

EDIT: I've been playing around with previewing the site in a
browser again, and have encountered another issue, which may be
related. I can preview a preliminary page, but all my links take me
to a 'this page cannot be found' error message. I was pretty sure
it wasn't doing this when I first encountered the problem with
design view, but I could be mistaken. Has something happened to the
internal links on my site, perhaps?

In the View menu go to Style Rendering. Make sure Display
Styles is checked.

Design View Not Showing Up In Master On Plan View Page

Five days ago I downloaded a trial version of Muse and tried building Katies-cafe. Everything went OK except that the Design view is not showing up in the Master. Any Ideas? I disabled and re-enabled the thumbnail checkmarkin Plan view, and I also tried reseting the page properties in Design View, but it still doesn't work.

User View not showing the assigned resources attributes in idm 7.0

i got the solution there was one attribute on workflow

MySQL 5.1 Stored Procs and Views not showing, only tables.

I'm having problems getting stored procedures and views to show up in the Data Source Explorer of CR4E 2.0.
I've checked the properties of the connection and the Default Stored Procedure Filter is disabled, so things should show Tables are showing. The user within MySQL that I am using to connect also has rights to view sps and views.
My question is, has any one got views or sps to show within the Data Source Explorer using MySQL 5.1? Am I missing a trick here? Do I need to add anything to the url string of the mysql jdbc driver for the sps and view schemas to show.

Hi,
As a work around you can use the CR2008 to design your reports based on stored procedures and then import the reports in Crystal Report For Eclipse IDE. You will be able to view the fields/Data coming from the Stored Procedures.
