I've been searching around the forums for a tutorial to transform an int or short or long back into a string, and I can't seem to find one. Could a kind person direct me to the tutorial for making integers into strings?

I have been trying to figure out how to transfer whole lot of pictures (I mean a WHOLE LOT like 27,555 whole lot) to my PC. My PC is just not reading my iphone at all, Do I nee to boost my memory? pick up photoshop elements? or something similar? While i was attempting to figure this out on my own I racked up alot of images for my flip book going back to mid september, right now I am only able to erace 8 images at a time. I'm ready to stop driving around in circles.

With an HP I guess you're running Windows.
If you plug in the iPhone does the camera wizard start up, or does windows ask you what program to use with *iPhone?
Is your computer fully finished booting before you plug in the phone?
Are you plugging DIRECTLY into the computer and not thru a hub or keyboard usb port? iPhones like a direct connection.
Have you changed usb cables to make sure you are connecting? Could be a bad cable.
Have you installed the mobile device driver from Apple?
Are you running iTunes?
There is a steep learning curve in iTunes, but at least an older Windows computer will still sync and run iTunes without Windows XP 6.3.2.5, no now we need 6.3.2.5.1, that was yesterday, now we need 6.3.2.5.1.2

This one is really simple.
Just make sure that the "only sync checked songs" box is checked under the music tab. Then select the songs that you want synced. Once you then click "sync", it will remove any of the songs that were automatically put there and add or leave only the ones that you put check boxes next to.

Why does my ipad keep asking for exchange password when I go into my mail

Since yesterday when I turn on my ipad and go into check my mail it keeps coming up with a box saying the exchange password is inncorrect but it's not been changed since it was set up.

I was tinkering with it last night and found that the mac mini didn't like the frequency that the router was using to communicate. I changed from channel 6 to channel 9 and the problem went away. Perhaps an auto setting would have worked but I'm using and older Linksys router and the auto was not an option.

Asking for help with importing mail messages into Entourage?

I just started using Entourage and want to import the messages saved in folders in Mac Mail to Entourage. When I select Import from a program in Entourage, Mac Mail isn't listed. Any thoughts on how to important these email messages into Entourage?

Ask the user for a single letter and a sentence, and print out the

Please tell me how to scan for a character. I tried this:

Lync 2010 client asks for credentials when outside of corporate network.

We are running Lync 2010 Enterprise. Everytime our Lync users are outside of our network and they log in to their Lync client, they get a pop-up window asking for credentials. When they log into Lync inside our network the Lync client connects automatically
without asking for credentials. Is this normal behavior? I assumed that the Lync client would behave exactly no matter where they were connecting from. They are using Lync 2010 client on domain joined laptops, I would assume the Lync client would just use
the same credentials they used to log in to their computers and not ask for anything. Please let me know if there is a way to stop the pop-up from showing up when people try to connect to Lync from outside our network.

Outside of the network the credential popup is for Exchange web services on the back end to check calendar info, contact lookup, etc. If Lync is already logged in when they see the popup, this is normal behavior.

4s asks for apple id password every few minutes

Everything is up to date, but suddenly this morning, the dialog box pops up asking for my apple id to sign into icloud. I punched it in, and it went away. Then, a few minutes later it popped up again. I've tried restarting, but it's still doing this every time I open an app--Facebook, Mail, anything, and sometimes it just pops up randomly while the phone is sitting there doing nothing.
What is going on? Any sugestions on how to fix this?

Use iTunes on your computer to deauthorize all your devices. Then sign out of your Apple ID on the device. Then sign back in.
How to change the Apple ID on my iOS Device
Settings > iTunes & App stores.
Tap your Apple ID, sign out then sign back in with new AppleID.
Settings > Facetime.
Tap your Apple ID, sign out then sign back in with new AppleID.
Settings > Messages.
Turn off iMessages, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on. Go to 'Receive messages at' and then tap your Apple ID. Sign out of the old ID, then sign in with new Apple ID.
Settings > iCloud.
Delete the account (make sure to KEEP the information on your phone), then turn it back on with new Apple ID.

Converting objects into Strings

How would someone convert an object of say (String, int, double, String) into a readable string. I tried the toString() method but all I get is something like this

Converting double to String

I am looking for a way to convert double to String.
I think that I have to use wrapper like Double class and use toString(double d), but I am not sure how to do it.
Since toString() is static method, I do not have to have an instance of the Double class, so I was wondering what's the correct way to do it.
I need something like this:
String MyString = new String (String1.concat ( My_doubleNumber.Double.toString() ) );
Any Suggestions?

Converting Double to String without exponent

Hi all,
I am reading some values from Excelsheet using apache POI library. I have large numbers that need to stored into database as string and not numbers. hence, while reading the excelsheet values, i convert these number.. and the are received as double. While converting double into string I noticed that some values are represented in exponential form.. I would like to avoid this and have pure number values in the form of string,,..
Can anybody tell me how to do it?

It's a really bad idea to post your email addresess - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove them.
