ASO formulae issue its quite aurgent

Hi Frnds,
I have an issue in an ASO cube here are the details of my dimensions
Metrics
Question_Score
Survey_Score
Dimension
a) Question Type
It has 7 members
1)A
2)B
3)C
4)D
5)E
6)F
7)G
b) Survey
It has 4 dimensions
1)W
2)X
3)Y
4)Z
Employee
1)1000
2)1001
3)1002

Here the Survey score needs a formulae with the fallowing logic
Intially Question score contains the total score values of surveys
w,x,y has 7 questions survey(a,b,c,d,e,f,g)
Z has 6 question survey(a,b,c,d,e,f)
Survey_score should caluclated as Question_Score/7 if a user look at w,x,y
Survey_score should caluclated as Question_Score/6 if a user look at z
As iam using ASO iam trying to implement thru a formulae let me if you have a any idea..

I know this is a foolish question, but why not load a 1 into a-G for Surveys W, X and Y and a 1 for Questions A-F for Survey Z? Load it into a No employee member (maybe into a member called Survey answers. Then your formula for Survey score would be
(question type.currentmember,Question Type,[No Employee].currentmember,Survey Answers)
Gary Crisi showed me a neat trick to be able to include the square brackets using the word code somehow but I don't remember how.

its not related to any hardware because last year april i got replacement new phone from apple and i maintained it well...!

Probably apps running in the background are causing this, sometimes Mail get's stuck connecting to the mail server, or some social media app like Facebook can also be a reason for prolonged background activity.
Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.
If this does not help, setting it up as new device would be the next step:

Essbase ASO Calculation Issue

Hi All
I am writing a calculation for a client to copy one version to another version for an Essbase ASO application.
It seems to work correctly when my POV is set on a smaller datapoints. Hower it seem to have issues when fixed on larger datapoints.
The calculations is pretty simple
[ActualFinal] := [ActualWorking];
I tried creating and running the calculation both using MaxL and Calculation Manager. However the same issue seem to occur.
I first thought it might have been an implied share issue, but further investigation, it doesn't seem to be the issue as I can get the data copied using a smaller POV.
The client is on version 11.1.2.3 of Essbase.
Any one have any thoughts of what may be causing this?

Here are the current limitations as I see them when trying to go ASO only:
- These scripts are not as fast as calc scripts
- performance is worse when users are on the system
- Cannot run these types of calcs when loads are taking place
- need to watch for incremental slices
- Users cannot natively execute these types of scripts
- These scripts can be very fussy to get working
- When I ran the exact same scripts (per my examples) as 'Calculation' versus 'Allocation' the 'Calculation' would skip random cells which was really weird and impossible to fix which is why I switched to using 'Allocation'
In my mind the technology is not mature enough at the moment to get rid of BSO but its getting better..

Import Issue - iPhoto Quits

I have searched here and online for this issue but can only find the apple color profile fix for certain pictures. I managed to kill my previous library so had to start fresh. When trying to import about 5000 photos, iphoto would get about 500 or so pictures in and then quit. When ever I would relaunch, there is always 130 pictures imported from various folders (no logical order), and 107 that were recovered. All of the images are untouched and not edited in any way. Any suggestions?

This could be a permissions problem, or a faulty jpeg file.
1. To solve a Permissions Issue: Download BatchMod from
http://macchampion.com/arbysoft/
And apply it to the iPhoto Library Folder using the settings found here:

(Credit to Old Toad for this one).
2. If it's a faulty jpeg, then try importing the pics in groups of 100 at a time, and see if you can track down the one/s that are causing the problem.

ASO LOADING ISSUE

Essbase 9.3.1
When trying to load a small amount of data using a load rule to an ASO cube the load is taking a huge amount of time. When I check session it says it is performing a "LoadTermBuffer". After checking the LOG file it appears that the load was loaded, but then it starts this LoadTermBuffer command, as per the below extract from the LOG. Any idea why it is doing this? I was doing the exact same thing on a replicated database, and it wasn't doing this previously. THANKS.

The following is a good read for your understanding of how buffers work.

The LoadBufferTerm is only a message but not an error per se. Optimizing the data load by observing the above information referenced, specifically for ASO databases will help manage this issue.
See, the way an ASO database loads data, it requires a buffer and after this sequence it does the sorting and indexing and writes directly to the disk. So even if you are loading from one source or a few different sources you will still need the buffer to work.

ASO SEND Issue

How robust is the send function when using an ASO database? I have had an issue recently where the database locks up
(error message "Cannot Send, Cannot Receive data") This seems to corrupt the database
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there an explanation for this?

It is typically the other way around. The database has some sort of corruption so when you try to send\recieve data from it it has already crashed. There could be a lot of reasons for this a couple are
Bad Disk sector
Bad formula in the database
It is not easy to diagnose this issue, I would try the second one first and see if the retrieves are hitting a formula that is bad.

ASO dataload issue

Hi,
We are facing an issue with ASO dataload.
When we load '0' values in ASO, we see them as #Missing in the smartview and in database->Preview data.This is impacting our formulas.
We did not replace '0' with #Missing in our rule files.
This works fine with BSO where we see '0' when the value is 0 and the rest as #Missing.
Can I get any help on this as what could have gone wrong..

In one sense nothing has gone "Wrong" the default nature of ASO data loads is to exclude missing and zero rows. This is to keepp the DB small. Depending on what version you are on, you can overried this default behavour in EAS or MaxL.

after uploading she had done auto invoice.
invoice and debimemos auto invoice was completed successfully but credit memos she got an error.
again she did auto invoice for credit memos,then it was completed but with zero records.
actually there are two records for credit memos.

There's nothing we users here can do for you if you brought your phone into a LEGITIMATE authorized service center in your area and they're telling you there is no problem.
Contact Apple customer service and see if they can do anything for you.

Latest Snow Leopard and "Save" or "Save" as issue: Freehand quits

EWM Opportunistic Cross Docking issue - Its put away instead of 2121 - Pick

We have checked all settings, configuration for Opportunistics cross docking - EWM (SCM) set up.
Storage type search sequence, activity type, WPT etc
But while performing following steps we are facing the issue :
1: We create PO in ERP
2: Inb delivery in ERP
3: Read Inb del in EWM - PRDI
4: Perform Follow on task - WT creation and SAVE
5: Create Sales order and outb del in ERP
6: Read the docu in SCM - EWM
5: See MOnitor - for Inbound delivery status is Put away
Outbound SHOULD HAVE BEEN 2121 (WPT) with PICK, but still Put away GR is already performed.
Its 1021 instead of 2121 WPT..
Any pointers please ?

Yes, I after I posted that message I retested and it worked as I expected. The only downside is that any GR reversals for the production orders will go to COGI due to the fact that 901 no longer allows negative stocks, but this is not that big of a deal.

Itunes library issue, its locked?

I apologize in advance if someone has already asked this question but i cant seem to find an answer in the support section of this site.
Ok here it goes. When i try to open itunes a message pops up saying that the itunes library.itl is locked on a locked disk, or i dont have the write permission for the file. This also seems to be a user specific issue since my sister can access Itunes fine from her account.
Were both computer administrators
I have the most recent itunes updates installed
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In Windows Explorer, right-click > Get Properties on that exHD itunes folder. Go to the Security tab and give your windows user ID full control and ownership. Make sure to check the box for child/subfolders to get those same permissions.

@sanjampet: I have already read the link you provided and none of the solutions work, which is why I posted here.
Safe mode just doesn't activate. I hold shift for as long as possible until eventually I get the prohibited symbol. When I hold shift I see the apple logo and loading icon and then eventually prohibited symbol, its as if I wasn't holding shift at all, which makes me wonder if the shortcut is even correct? And I know its not a problem with my keyboard or my timing of pushing shift because holding alt/option works as usual.
Holding C to load from the installs disc doesn't work either, which eliminates all the solutions based on that. Its the same as safe mode - I hold the button until I eventually get prohibited symbol.
I also tried selecting my Mac hd via holding alt key - same result: prohibited symbol.
I also tried selecting my installs disc via holding alt key and a strange thing happens: I see the apple logo and loading wheel but this time it is stuck on the apple logo and loading spin thing for about 20 minutes while there is lots of noise and activity coming from the CD drive..
I also tried resetting the NVRAM/PRAM, which DID seem to have an affect (screen was brighter + startup sound was louder) but I still see the prohibited symbol like all the other times.
I'm yet to be able to get past the prohibited symbol, the only way around it so far is to load the windows partition if my HD.
