Assembly Failed

Hello,
We have configured NWDI for ESS/MSS development and successfully deployed the components in Dev & Consolidation systems. When we try to assemble the components to move them to Test system. We run into following issue. I tried several combinations but, it didn't work out..

    Hi,
    Fatal Exception:com.sap.cms.tcs.interfaces.exceptions.TCSCommunicationException: communication error: Exception received:
    ClientServerException exception:Software component version 58a66500336b11dd8387f3c70a53b4e5 has not yet been imported into the system and therefore cannot yet be assembled using CMS. You must execute a CMS- or file-based import of the software component version into the consolidation system first.
    The error is saying that there might a communication issue with CBS to CMS. That's the reson the imported SCA version is not available in the current system to assemble. The NWDI restart may work some times.
    Thanks
    Krishna

  • Assembly failed while configuring track for ECOM

    Hello,
    I am trying to configure the track for the ECOM application. I have reached successfully upto the step of importing the SCA files on the Consolidation tab of CMS Transport Studio. Now when I try to assemble the components, I get the message "Assembly Failed" for the following components:
    sap.com_CUSTCRMPRJ
    sap.com_SAP-CRMAPP
    sap.com_SAP-CRMWEB
    sap.com_SAP-SHRWEB
    When I checked the "Details", I see the following:
    Check-assembly assembled
    Repository-export assembled
    CBS-assembly Finished with errors
    Export Assembly failed
    The log files are empty, for all the components!!
    In CBS there are totally 408 DCs in each buildspace - dev and cons. None broken.
    Any idea what the problem can be?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Reena

  • Assembly failed due to Broken DCs

    Hi All,
    I have around 8 activities which were waiting for import on cons, after importing them (remember cons is not configured for runtime systems) in the assembly stage for all the activities assembly failed. On checking i came to know the <b>track_cons</b> has 5 broken DC's.
    One SCA has 2 broken DC's
    Second SCA has 3 broken DC's, in this sca there is one DC which is showing failed in compile state. So the remaining 4 DC's using this DC are failed in the Usages section.
    But all the above is perfect in<b> track_dev</b>.
    Its very important i need to go ahead with transports.
    Points will definitely be awarded for solution, please help.
    Regards,
    Vishal D

    I have manually synced the code of track_dev and track_cons and now all the DC's are fine.
    But now on importing the sca to test my custom sca are not getting imported, i get the following error :"Info:Error during SDM deployment:communication error: Server <server host name> did not accept login request as apiadmin on port no. - Connection between SDM client and server is broken
    But the surprising part is the standard sca are getting imported such as "sap.com_SAP_JTECHS", " sap.com_SAP_BUILDT " and "sap.com_SAP-JEE"

    Added weblogic.jar in the classpath and that resolved the issue.

  • Assembler failing after form saved using ES3 designer(original works saved using ES2)

    I am having an issue with a form that was created in ES2.  If you use the form created in ES2, the assembler process works fine.  Once you open the form and save it using ES3, the process fails.  Any idea what to look for, or anybody else see this behavior?  I have also created a new form using the the old form as a template and it also fails.

    Here is some additional information.
    Error thrown by assember process:
    Caused by: com.adobe.internal.pdfm.xfa.XFAServiceException: PDFM_S28008:
    XFA Dynamic assembler failed to stitch a fragment.: Invalid node type:
    ADBE_JSDebugger
    The fault occurred on line 2.
    After some more research today.  I have found saving in ES3 designer adds
    this to the file:

  • Create Assembly fails in SQL Server 2012 SP1 if an assembly is built with Platform Target as AnyCPU

    Environment:
    Windows 2008 R2.
    SQL Server 2012 SP1 64 bit.
    I have a .NET assembly built using .NET Framework 4.0 with Platform Target set to AnyCPU and Unsafe options. The assembly has dependency on few other assemblies and has unmanaged code also. When I run CREATE ASSEMBLY for this assembly I get the following
    error message.
    Assembly '<assembly name>' could
    not be installed because existing policy would keep it
    from being used.
    However if I change the compile option to x64 instead of AnyCPU, I can successfully create the assembly. So my question : Does SQL Server 2012 64 bit requires assemblies that have Unmanaged code or makes calls to native libraries need to be built using x64
    bit option? AnyCPU should not be used?
    Thanks in Advance

    Hello,
    The default setting of a Visual Studio project is "Any CPU".SO on a 64 bit system this means the program will automatically run as a 64 bit application and on a 32 bit system it will automatically run as a 32 bit application. But if you have a dependency
    assembly which is either x86 or x64, technically your project is therefore not "Any CPU" compatible.
    According to BOL: If the the assembly is 100% type safe which there is no dependencies on native code or COM objects and that there is no 'unsafe' code, it is possible to take the .NET executable
    that you run on your 32-bit machine and move it to the 64-bit system and have it run successfully.
    In your case, the issue may caused by the unsafe code and you should spcify the platform target to X64 to make is run on the 64 bit system.

  • Flash Builder export release build fails with lot of assets

    I'm having troubles when building for release and when running with "standard" packaging. It just hangs without having a error notification or so.
    The project I'm packaging has a lot of assets, like 150 MB. When trying to package with the "fast" packaging option, it is working realy good!
    I tried to increase the vm arguments in the .ini settings file, but without succes.
    Do you have any suggestion?

    Hi Sanjay,
    Thanks for the quick reply! Hereby the extra info:
    1. -Xmx2048m
    2. We are using ATF files with all three textures included (around 14 MB for @2x and 8 MB for @1x). We could exclude the DXT and ETC ones, but than we need to create them for all separately. Thereby we are not done with the project so the size will still increase, than it is a solution for a short time.
    3. I just tried with the following results:
    At the beginning it is giving some warnings:

  • ALTER ASSEMBLY and Continuous Integration

    I have a small assembly of scalar SQL functions built in .NET that I've manually integrated to SQL Server with CREATE ASSEMBLY and then CREATE FUNCTION.  However, as part of my continuous integration and deploy process, I'd like to update the assembly
    with every build using ALTER ASSEMBLY.
    I've already taken care to guard against an unchanged MvID in the SQL batch I execute to do the update, but whenever a new build runs (and the MvID apparently changes), I get the following error:
    ALTER ASSEMBLY failed because the required method "Xxx" in type "Yyy" was not found with the same signature in the updated assembly.
    But the signature hasn't changed!  The signature is still just "DateTime? Yyy(DateTime?)".
    I've found very little information about this error in particular.  Any suggestions?

    I figured out what's the main reason in my case. In SQL Server 2008 R2, it is problem to have UDT with method that contains Nullable return or input parameters in it. For example if you have UDT and added one such method to it, then you do ALTER ASSEMBLY On
    SQL Server, assembly will deploy successfully, but the real issue comes when you will try deploy next version of your assembly, even if you don't touch that UDT and that method with Nullable param, you will get.
    "ASSEMBLY failed because the required method "myfunction" in type  "myUDT" was not found
    with the same signature in the updated assembly." error
    for sure.
    I want to mention that I tested and this is not the case on Sql 2005 and Sql 2012

  • Error while assembly??

    Hello SDN,
    i am trying to assemble the DCs in CMS/transport studio, but when i tried this, i got the erro that assembly failed,broken sequence of DCs.Assembly terminated.
    what could be the issue??
    any help wil be rewarded.
    thank you in advance.

    Hi Bhushan,
    please take a look at https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/30b7c94e-fc6b-2910-30b8-d34a7b51309e for a detailed look at broken DCs.
    Basically a DC is broken if either a) there was an error during the build of that DC or b) the DC depends on another DC that is broken.

  • VS 2013 Build tools installation fails with error "Signature or catalog could not be verified"

    VS 2013 ultimate - Build tools installation fails with error "Signature or catalog could not be verified" for MSBuild assemblies. Any idea what could be the problem?
    Thanks
    NM

    Hello,
    Do you mean you are trying to use this tool:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40760
    Can you navigate to your %temp% folder and filter by date to see the log of the Build tool?
    I want to know which assemblies failed to be verified.
    By the way, since MSBuild is embed in Visual Studio why you want to install this again? Do you have any error about this Build Tool when you install Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate?
    “Signature or catalog could not be verified” is always related to corrupt source
    , please double check you have a healthy network and then try the web installer again.

    From the error logs we can trace it out to the web project's Build.xml file ....I was getting a similar error and by commenting out the following lines in the web project's Build.xml I am able to run the build script correctly and get a EAR file. The lines are
    <!--

    moduleName="${project.name}"
    srcOutputDir="${assembly.src}"
    appRootDir="${ear.root}">

    <fileset dir="${project.dir}">
    <include name="**/*.controls.properties" />
    </fileset>
    </assemble>
         -->
    Please check it now, also if any one can let us know the function or role played by the above lines it would be great. Also if there would be any future or unseen problems by commenting out these lines please do let us know...

  • Stitching/mergigng of xdps using document builder when fragments have been used in xdps.

    Hi,
    I am trying to merge xdps using document builder in LiveCycle workbench. Basiclly I am using the option "Dynamic stitching" in document builder to merge more then one xdps. So I am able to do it when my xdps are not having any fragments.
    But I am not able to get the merged xdp when fragments are there in my xdps.
    It is throwing some error.
    It says "XFA dynamic assembler failed to stitch a fragment".
    So can I specify the fragment path while merging these xdps.
    Please let me know the inputs on this. Or is there any other way to merge xdps which are having fragments.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ashish

    One probable reason is that the individual XDPs have incorrect fragment references. Have you checked out
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/521/cpsid_52158.html
    Any subtle mistakes in the path like a folder name specified twice in the path (as it was programmatically generated?), or an extra forward slash, etc.?
    Did you try to render these XDP forms (with fragments) individually using LiveCycle process orchestration/API?
