Associating To Do entry with a relevant information

i am currently working on creating To Do entry.
To start with , i started with high bill case, where for every stage i am creating a To Do entry.
I created a To Do type, creted an algorithm to create the to do entry and i am able to crete a To do entry for teh particular stage.
My issue is that , when , say i have a To Do ..to rebill the bill....i click on the to do message and i am navigated to the bill page(navigation defined in To do type), i dont get the reference of teh bill id which i need to rebill..i have to search the bill for which i need to rebill..
How do i link my To Do with the relevant data ,say account,person, premise,SP or any thing relevant.
Also i ma not able to understand ,how to use the drill key and To Do charecterictics which i need to define while creating a To Do type..
can some one explain their usage through an exampe.

Hi ,
You can associate the To Do created with a particular person with the help of to do characteristics.
First of all,Define a to do characteristics for bill id in the to do type you created.
Whenever you create a to do entry in your algorithm,set the bill id in your to do characteristics.
By doing this you can relate the bill Id with the to do entry created.
Let me know if u face any pblms.
I was also working on the same and this approach did work for me.

    I keep away from the non MS sites for these things and with good reason -  there were heaps of similar users with the same issue or very close to it that  had downloaded from a supposed MS copy from eValue or digital river etc and the  next
    thing was total corruption of the OS.
    EVENTUALLY I found a LIVE MS chat on a support site in the US and she gave  me a link to a slightly older version which will need updating and some reg edit  changes but so far, so good.
    The point is - what a crock !
    I should be able to just keep all my software, drivers, updates, service  packs, and versions that I have upgraded in the MS store.
    If Microsoft aren't going to support XP or Office 2003 and eventually 2007,  vista & Windows7 not far behind??? then that's still no excuse for them to  put these restrictions and limits when I OWN my copy of the software!!
    Unlike office 365 and SkyDrive space which is described in the T&C  (that we all read before ticking that radial button to agree of course) as ONLY  under a leased licence.
    IF Microsoft can support AND develop software that supports SQL2000  Servers, why is it so hard to archive and keep the same info for  everyone???

    I want to link the excise table entries to the relevant storage location at the time of excise relevant goods movement ( includes , GR , consumption & returns etc)
    Can anyone please tell me the tables that wud have to be searched?

    This error generally is due to tolerance error. Please check the assignment of the user id with the relevant tolerance groups. Let me know if it worked.

  • How do I make a repreat calendar/diary entry with ...

    Hello,
    As in the title, I am trying to work out how to make a repeat diary entry with an end date. 
    In the 'Occurs' tab, when I pick 'every Thursday', it does not offer me an end date option.  When I tried to put an end date through the 'How Long' tab the system noted a conflict with the 'Occors' tab.
    Anyway, I am sure I am missing something very obvious ... so I won't go on about it.

    You are correct in the assumptions. We do have official representation in the forum, and the discussions here are a part of the Microsoft support elsewhere. A search on windowsphone.com and also on the local support pages for a specific phone has links pointing here. - I certainly hope and expect this processing is fully automated!
    Regarding the lacks of features in the Windows Phone calendar, and the specific issue in this thread, it is in my opinion not likely to be solved in the current version. Maybe in Windows 10. Until then we rely on workarounds - and request or vote for existing feature request on the uservoice pages. I am sure Microsoft are aware of the calendar shortcomings, there is unfortunately no official information, if and when anything is done about it.

             Can we use FOR ALL ENTRIES with two tables. for example

             WHERE BUDAT IN S_BUDAT.

                            MAKTL IN S_MAKTL.
    SELECT * FROM MSEG INTO TABLE T_MSEG
           FOR ALL ENTRIES IN  "T_MKPF AND T_MARA"
                  WHERE MBLNR EQ T_MKPF-MBLNR AND
                                 MATNR EQ T_MARA-MATNR.

    u cannot do like this....chek some documentation on it..
    1. duplicate rows are automatically removed
    2. if the itab used in the clause is empty , all the rows in the source table will be selected .
    3. performance degradation when using the clause on big tables.
    Say for example you have the following abap code:
    Select * from mara
    For all entries in itab
    Where matnr = itab-matnr.
    If the actual source of the material list (represented here by itab) is actually another database table, like:
    select matnr from mseg
    into corresponding fields of table itab
    where ….
    Then you could have used one sql statement that joins both tables.
    Select t1.*
    From mara t1, mseg t2
    Where t1.matnr = t2.matnr
    And T2…..
    So what are the drawbacks of using the "for all entires" instead of a join ?
    At run time , in order to fulfill the "for all entries " request, the abap engine will generate several sql statements (for detailed information on this refer to note 48230). Regardless of which method the engine uses (union all, "or" or "in" predicates) If the itab is bigger then a few records, the abap engine will break the itab into parts, and rerun an sql statement several times in a loop. This rerun of the same sql statement , each time with different host values, is a source of resource waste because it may lead to re-reading of data pages.
    returing to the above example , lets say that our itab contains 500 records and that the abap engine will be forced to run the following sql statement 50 times with a list of 10 values each time.
    Select * from mara
    Where matnr in ( ...)
    Db2 will be able to perform this sql statement cheaply all 50 times, using one of sap standard indexes that contain the matnr column. But in actuality, if you consider the wider picture (all 50 executions of the statement), you will see that some of the data pages, especially the root and middle-tire index pages have been re-read each execution.
    Even though db2 has mechanisms like buffer pools and sequential detection to try to minimize the i/o cost of such cases, those mechanisms can only minimize the actual i/o operations , not the cpu cost of re-reading them once they are in memory. Had you coded the join, db2 would have known that you actually need 500 rows from mara, it would have been able to use other access methods, and potentially consume less getpages i/o and cpu.
    In other words , when you use the "for all entries " clause instead of coding a join , you are depriving the database of important information needed to select the best access path for your application. Moreover, you are depriving your DBA of the same vital information. When the DBA monitors & tunes the system, he (or she) is less likely to recognize this kind of resource waste. The DBA will see a simple statement that uses an index , he is less likely to realize that this statement is executed in a loop unnecessarily.
    Beore using the "for all entries" clause and to evaluate the use of database views as a means to:
    a. simplify sql
    b. simplify abap code
    c. get around open sql limitations.

    I use SAP Solution Manager (SPS 16) with a lot of satellite SAP systems and get each week a valid EWA report.
    Now I would like to get a automated retrieval of EWA data in machine readable form.
    So it should not be a EWA report, but e.g. a XML file with all the relevant information (e.g. parameters, performance, etc.)
    Question
    What are the technical steps to do this?
    How can I retrieve such information? (interface, tcode, report)

    You want the system to send SAP EarlyWatch or Service Level Reporting reports automatically by E-Mail.
    To send HTML reports automatically by E-Mail, you have performed the required activities in the IMG (transaction SPRO).
    Start the transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER.
    If you are in the solution overview, choose a solution.
    Choose  Edit  Send E-Mail Automatically .
    To add an E-Mail address to which to send your reports automatically, choose Create E-Mail.
    A dialog box appears.
    Enter the required data.
    The system sends the selected report to the assigned E-Mail address(es), automatically. You can specify several E-Mail addresses.

    By setting the indicator to 'X' for the information type 01 (Master data changes) in the IMG path Financial Accounting --> Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable --> Business Transactions --> Submit to Collection Agency --> Specifications for Forwarding Information to Collection Agencies.
    The system now records the entries in table DFKKCOLL_CH and gets captured in the update information file to collection agency. The system internally calls the function module FKK_GET_DATA_FOR_COLL_AGENCY which does the insertion of entries into table DFKKCOLL_CH.
    Also refer to SAP note 1592532 for more information.

  • The local node entry in Cluster Configuration information does not match wi

    In installing 10.1.0.3 CRS on Solaris 8 x86, I keep getting the error, "The local node entry in Cluster Configuration information does not match with the entry in /etc file." Both addresses are defined in the /etc/inet/hosts and are pingable. There seems to be no way to get past this issue. Earlier I installed 10.2.0.1 CRS on SLES9 SP2 on a system with the same network settings and had no problem. Is there some way to force the installer to accept the addresses given and proceed past this step?

    1.
    if your host file looks as follows

    then you should be able to do rsh or ssh sucessfully for each aliases at least one from each nodes
    (ex)
    on node rac1

    2. you should create user equivalance on all the nodes as follows

  • Sales Order relevant information is missing in gATP tables

    I am facing some strange behavior in our APO system.
    1) When we create a Sales Order, the order relevant information has to be populated in all the SO related database tables in APO system. Few of them being /SAPAPO/ORDADM_I, /SAPAPO/ATPPARAM, /SAPAPO/SDQTVB.
    2)This is happening for both ATP as well as Allocation related scenarios.
    3)When we run the consistency reports like SDRQCR21 and /SAPAPO/SDRQCR21 in the ECC & APO systems respectively sometimes, the data gets populated and sometimes it doesnu2019t get populated.
    4)I also tried deleting the order relevant information in the APO system using the program /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL and tried to run the /SAPAPO/CCR program. But, no fruitful result with that.
    Is there anything to do with Live Cache ? I tried runinng the transaction /SAPAPO/OM17. But, No clue.

    Wow.  That symptom is very strange to me.  I don't think I have EVER looked at all my logs an not seen any errors.  There are always errors of some kind in my logs.
    I have never tried to match sales order data in R/3 with any table-based sales orders data in SCM.  The only thing that really matters to me is the contents of Livecache, and how it interacts with R/3 and with the other functionalities in APO.  I couldn't say if the tables to which you refer are designed by SAP to mirror R/3 at all times, but I will take your word for it that they should.
    I think if I had a business problem that was caused by data 'somehow' not matching, and my standard CCR and SDRQCR21 programs did not bring the two systems properly into synchronization,  I would next explore if there were any userexits or other custom code affecting the interfaces.
    I am wondering exactly what business problem you are having, anyway?  What are the standard reports in APO to which you refer that are not properly displaying their data?

  • JDBC MS Access--- cannot extract entry with null value with data type Meta

    I'm trying to extract a data entry with null value by using JDBC. The database is MS Access.
    The question is how to extract null entry with data type memo? The following code works when the label has data type Text, but it throws sqlException when the data type is memo.
    Any advice will be appreciated! thanks!

    The question is how to extract null entry with data type memo?Okay, what you need to do is this:
    if (rs.getString("val") == null)
      // do something
    }This way, when it's a null value, you can check it first, and then handle it how you want, rather than getting an exception.

  • F110- not able to clear the debit and credit entry with the same reference

    Hi,
    I am not able to clear the debit and credit entry with the same reference in F110 even after having the payment terms as immediate payment, payment method is maintained in document no and vendor master data. Both debit and credit entry is appearing in FBL1N as an open item but it is not appearing in F110.
    In Log message appear as 8 days grace period is existing whereas as payment term is just 0001- immediate payment.
    Kindly advice me what could be wrong.

    Hi,
    Credit and debit balance in vendor account are not cleared automatically when only vendor line item has payment method and credit memo has not payment method. Also when there is not payment method maintained in vendor master data.
    In such case to avoid payment to vendor when vendor has debit balance we perform debit balance check.
    In second scenario when u2018individual paymentu2019 is selected in vendor master data vendor invoice and credit memo are not cleared automatically in F110.
    To setoff vendor credit and debit balance in F110 you to uncheck u2018individual paymentu2019 check in vendor master data > company code data > payment data.
