Authenticate User Exception when using XMS/WebService SMS send API
I created a MultiChannel Messaging application and set user name/password for sending SMS but got the authenticateUser() Push Exception. I used the setAccount() method of generated MultiChannelMessenger class.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
The problem is: i don't know how to check for the HTTP-Header, because
my call
<i>SOAPOutPayload = accessor.call(payload);</i>
throws the mentioned exception, even though it works behind the scene.
Is it possible to check for the HTTP-Response-Code in the catch block?
We want to avoid an synchronous scenario because we don't need the result and the WebService is rather slow.

Exception when using Email webservice in webdynpro
Hi all,
I am using the standard email web service as model in my webdynpro application. The WSDL of the application that I use is:
http://www.abysal.com/soap/AbysalEmail.wsdl
When I deploy and run the application, I get an error:
"<i>Service call exception; nested exception is: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (400) Bad request. I only understand GET.</i>"
Indeed , when I look at the source code in browser the transport and upload happen via POST. How can I send GET request using webdynpro ?
Best Regards,
NishantNishant,
Actually, sending XML as SOAP request body mandates using either POST or PUT (or some other HTTP method with body like PROPPATCH in WebDAV), but definitely not GET.
So SAP WebServices framework works correctly in this case, and there is no way to override this behavior.
<i>Service call exception; nested exception is: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (400) Bad request. I only understand GET.</i>
I'd recommend authors of this service to study corresponding HTTP RFC-s -- what they did is violation of HTTP and REST priciples.

I can hear caller but they can not hear me except when using speaker phone
First of all, make sure that your iPhone as the most recent iOS available. Check in "Settings>General>Software Update".
One other problem could be your microphone. Does it work for anything else other than a call?
Good-Luck!

Wrong number of parameters exception when using PreparedStatement
Hi,
I'm getting Wrong number of parameters exception when using a prepared statement. It's very weird. The code is:
sqlstmt="update blah1 set blah2=? where blah3=?";
myps = Conn.prepareStatement(sqlstmt);
myps.setString(1, p1);
myps.setInt(2, p2);
myps.executeUpdate(sqlstmt);
The error is:
SQLException: [IBM][CLI Driver] CLI0100E Wrong number of parameters. SQLSTATE=07001:07001
Could someone please help? Thanks
MahdadHi and thanks for the reply.
Actually this is the try block...
The variable's defintions are correct.
PreparedStatement myps;
try {
sqlstmt="update blah1 set blah2=? where blah3=?";
myps = Conn.prepareStatement(sqlstmt);
myps.setString(1, blah4);
myps.setInt(2, blah5);
myps.executeUpdate(sqlstmt);
catch (SQLException e) {
System.out.println("SQLException: " + e.getMessage() + ":" + e.getSQLState());

The sso from Java->ABAP was OK
I reconfigured the sso from ABAP->JAVA by creating new ABAP certificate and import it to the J2EE.

XMLStreamReader exception when using webservice with security access denied
Hi,
I'm using CXF webservices generated from a WSDL with SOAP document style. Under normal conditions, the client and server work fine, and can I read info back from the the server (SOAP http messages passed between both)
However, for some servers, I am using SUNs Policy Agent, which checks for an authentication token in the http header cookie before allowing access to the web service. I set up the cxf service port as follow:
Service service = Service.create(serviceName);
service.addPort(portName, SOAPBinding.SOAP11HTTP_BINDING, address);
servicePort = (IMyService)service.getPort(portName, IMyService.class);
I also add the authentication token to the http header cookie in the service's request context.
If the token is correct, everything works fine. However, if the token is incorrect, and access is denied, the policy agent does not return a SOAP http message. In this case, the web service method throws a low-level XMLStreamReader exception i.e. it can't read the SOAP message response - so I can't get the actual response from the policy agent.
Would anyone have an idea on this? Should I configure the CXF port differently, or should I try to get the policy agent to return a SOAP message even if access is denied.
There is already a browser that can access the policy agent - and this needs to be redirected if access is denied. So in effect, we need the redirect functionality for the browser, and the returned SOAP message for the application using the web service.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
RobThanks for your answer.
I eventually found a workaround for this problem.
Actually you don't need to provide an SSO cookie the first time you connect to the webgate server, you just need to provide basic credentials and the webgate will provide you an SSO cookie that you can use for the next call.
The problem is that this doesn't work out of the box with the .NET/WSDL framework for some reason (with Java + the HTTPClient library I had no problem).
I had to had manually the following headers to the HTTP request to make it work:
Authentication: Basic XXXXXXXX
Cookie: OBBasicAuth=fromDialog
Where XXXXXXXX is a base64 encoded string containing "login:password"
Thanks,

Why must I set the AD as "default user store " when use Kerberos scheme ???
Hi ,
I am using kerberos scheme to authenticate user by OAM after user logged into the AD domain . It works well when there is only 1 AD domain ,for I can set that AD as the default identity store so that OAM can find user from the store and set the header .
But when there are two totally different AD domains with different users , there will be a question. That is , I can only set one AD domain as the default identity store. So when I use the other AD domain to visit webgate protected resource, OAM notice me the the user/password error. But if the AD user exist in both AD domains, it will be OK, because the user mapping is finished correctly.

It seems OAM must set the AD as "default user store " , and only if so , AD domain users can login to webgate protected resources by kerberos .
So, how can I make 2 AD available together ? Can you kindly give some advice? It will be very appreciated.
Thanks !!1) Should my setup be defaulting to 32-bit compilersYes. On Solaris compilers generate 32-bit code by default
2) I have read that adding -m64 to the compile command will make it 64-bit, is this accurate?It will make compiler produce 64-bit binaries.
Compiler itself will stay 32-bit ;-)
3) Is there a way to set the compilers to default to 64-bit so that the user doesn't have to specify -m64?No. At least no compiler-specific way. Only UNIX general tricks (shell alias, shell script etc)
4) Does everyone just use -m64 and forget about it?Yep. They have no choice -
Catching Fault Messages when using a webservice
Hi all.
We are using a webservice that looks like this.
nonSAP-system <-> XI <-> SAP
A nonSAP-system asks for some information from a SAP-system. When we get an error of some kind we want to return the errormessage to the nonSAP-system so they will know what went wrong.
For first we want to try to return the errormessage generated in XI or the SAP-system and when we get that to work we want to be able to generate our own faultmessages so we specific what went wrong in the in the call.
We have looked around in the help pages and not getting a good picture on how to do this. Is there anybody who could help me out?

Exception when using browser refresh button
When using the browser refresh button, there is a prompt to re-submit data. Once the user selects Retry, an exception is thrown (see below).
The SelectBean is of ViewScope and is listed in adfc-config.xml as such. The SelectBean is used to set session attributes based user selection of a row from a af:table.
Is this the incorrect set up? Should this be a backing bean instead? We were expecting to see a prompt of navigating away from the page (similar to the behaviour here: [http://andrejusb.blogspot.ca/2011/07/how-to-handle-web-browser-buttons-in.html] ) instead of a resubmission prompt to be able to handle a user using the browser buttons.
Thanks!

Exception when using apex_item.select_list_from_lov
I have a query where I want to use a select list to enable the user to change the value of an attribute. However, when i try using apex_item.select_list_from_lov or apex_item.select_list_from_query I get an exception. My report region shows ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
I tried querying a smaller table, and then it works. Is there a size limit for select_list_from_query and select_list_from_lov? And if so, what is it? The list of values and the query works fine when using them in select list items (in a form). It also works fine when using apex_item.popup_from_lov.
CamillaCamilla,
Those functions return a varchar2 value so you are limited to 4000 characters for a column of that type selected in SQL. You can use the select_list_from_query_xl or select_list_from_lov_xl, which return a CLOB. In any case the size of the HTML generated for the row must be less than 32K.

JSession cookie dropping cause DuplicateSessionDetected exception when use https rather than http
I developing Grails+BlazeDS server and Flex AIR client and stucked with this error: Detected duplicate HTTP-based FlexSessions, generally due to the remote host disabling session cookies. Session cookies must be enabled to manage the client connection correctly
Google searches didn't successfully, as I see some difference in situations. The issue I got only when Flex client interact with server via https.
Flex client:
<s:ChannelSet id="userChannel">
<s:SecureAMFChannel uri="https://localhost:8443/Con/messagebroker/amfpolling" />
</s:ChannelSet>
button click in UI triggered login method:
loginResult.token = channelSet.login(usernameInput.text, passwordInput.text);
And finished with DuplicateSessionDetected exception.
After investigating network monitor logs, I found that a jsession cookie received from server not set in next requests to a server:

Session cookies must be enabled to manage the client connection correctly. details = null rootCause = null body = null extendedData = null
And again - when used non-secure protocol everything ok - session cookie sevt to server in login operation as expected.
I have a little experience in Flex development and didn't find any method to set session cookie when triggered channel login request. Could you help to resolve this issue, please?
Thanks.Finnaly resolved it. I meet similar questions in the web, so I hope this solution will be helpfull for somebody.
The cause of DuplicateSessionDetected exception has been a Network Monitor tool of Flash Builder. After switching it off no any exception has been occurred. I think there issues when Monitor acting as proxy when used with secure protocol.
