Auto Load Flash on website

Hi there,
I mainly use Dreamweaver to design my website templates and embed flash swf files where I need to as opposed to designing the entire website in Flash. In order to avoid flash displaying properly on browsers that did not have the right Flash player installed, I have started using a script that auto detects if player is installed and then installs the player in the background if it is not, instead of showing the warning that Flash is not available.
However since the flash version has changed, the script has stoped working as it should. How can I fix this? I am using the auto install script to load the flash header on the following website homepage.

Sorry, but due to the browsers now enforcing the installation of plug-ins being optional, (also requires a browser restart now), an auto-installation is not possible, (and should never have been).
Detection scripts are also not necessary, with the new code just delete the 'get flash player' message and code to remove the get flash player link if you do not wish the message to be displayed.

First thing I noticed, is that you did not close your
<embed> tag

If that doesn't solve your troubles, try the following

Unable to load flash-based website in any browser

I'm on Windows XP SP2 with the latest flashplayer installed
(9,0,47,0). For some reason I can no longer get beatport.com to
load in any web browser on my computer, i.e. Firefox, IE, or even
Netscape. The website partially loads, leaving me with just the
"green frames" and then stops. I can access this website just fine
from my friend's computer, also Windows XP.
Does anyone have any ideas of what's going on???

I didn't think reinstalling was gonna do me any good except for getting rid of every single thing I have ever installed since getting this MBP. I'm thinking it has to be something that is on my computer causing this, especially since it only affects my ability to get to this one site and I only started seeing this problem yesterday.
So, I went ahead and disabled all my Chrome extensions and I don't have any Safari extensions at all. That didn't fix my issue.
I've been trying to run Sophos on here, thinking that maybe I've got a Trojan or some kind of malware, but it never seems to finish a full scan of my hard drive. That "Plugin" that I mentioned above has me very suspicious, except that whatever that is, it's been on my computer since basically when I first got it. Maybe it's malicious, or maybe it's just a poorly named piece of software. In any case, it got updated last night around 11pm, about the same time I noticed my problem. After trying everything I have, it's hard for me to overlook that as coincidence.
But, where do I go to gain more information about what that could be? I should mention that this MBP is basically my first Apple computer. I've been a PC guy (still am mostly) forever, but I finally dove in and got a Mac to start iOS development. So I'm sure there are ways to get more information than I am currently aware of.

Flash Player won't load on certain websites

Hi all, I've downloaded the newest Flash Player and for some reason it won't load on certain websites. I have tried it on FIrefox, IE, and Chrome, and none work. All I get is a black screen. I've tried reinstalling browsers and flash, and even turning off my firewall etc. etc. Please help.
I'm using Windows 7 with everything updated as well.

Adobe has stopped auto loading when I choose " print " option on a website that provides me with a PDF format statement. Mozilla or Adobe setting?

Both mozilla and Adobe have been updated. Should I be looking into Adobe or Firefox for a setting change to enable adobe to be auto loaded when accessing a PDF format statement by a "print" button on a website?

This is on your Android device? Does Firefox show that it is downloading the PDF? Usually that will appear first and then the file will be launched in the Adobe app. If nothing happens after it is downloaded, does it appear on the Downloads list on the menu and, of so, can you open it normally from there or is that also not working?
(If you are asking about a different platform, please provide more information on which one it is.)

WebVPN flash based website loading problem

We are using Cisco ASA WebVPN, ASA version 8.2(2).
Problem: Flash driven website is not loading especially for MAC users.
Same website accessible from Windows based machines.
Initially user logins to WebVPN and 2 bookmarked links for same website.
frist website for Windows users and other is for MAC users
Only difference is Windoes users bookmark is configured with Smarttunnel and MAC is not.
Website does open for MAC user, but it's just not loading the content (flash contents)
Could someprovide inputs to resolve this problem.

That was a waste of a couple hours.... The reason it was not redering is because I had a glow filter effect on a parent
displayobject in the app... Really weird, cause html stuff would load, but flash would not show up.

Flash player opening in new window even for flash in websites

Ok, so ive searched the net and not found a single person with my problem, if its something easy ive missed im sorry. Flash player opens in a new window for every bit of flash. Like if I go to hulu and start to watch a movie it will not load in browser but open a new window on the desktop and begin playing. If I go to a website that has a flash based set up like the air forces website just the backround will load and the flash thats supposed to be on the page tries to load in a new window like hulu but since its not a movie it doesnt work. It does this for everything flash, meaning if I go to a flash heavy website I see only the html parts and end up with tons of blank flash windows in my task bar I cant bring up. Im running firefox but it does it for ie too so I dont think its a browser issue.

Prevent show 'select download folder' dialog when click export csv button in a flash-based website

I want to download csv file from a flash-based website. When i click the button with export icon, Firefox always pop up dialog box with title 'select download folder for ...'. I have set up default download folder and uncheck 'always ask me where to save files'. If i download from other websites (not a flash one) then the download automatically started without pop up folder selection dialog. I want to prevent firefox from showing download folder selection dialog because i need to use it for web automation. by the way, i use ubuntu 12.04 with firefox 21.0. I have used flashgot extension but still no luck. Any suggestion about this?

I already have followed the instruction above, but still no luck. The dialog still appear. I think this is not a regular download link since it's made with flash. It's look like an export button which will force browser to pop up 'select folder location' dialog and when i click save then there is no download progress like usual, the file just saved automatically. I think the file itself is rendered when the flash website loaded, and then embeded into the web page. When i download, it didn't send any request, it just get the embeded file.

Safari will not Auto load username password

This is very strange,
All my websites will load my username and Passwords except for my website with Scottrade.com
I double checked to ensure that my username password is in profile and it certainly is.
What can I do to fix my username and password auto load for my trading account, please

Loading Flash Player 9 on PPC Mac - need help

Hi!
I am trying to load Flash Player 9 onto my Mac but it won't
work. I've tried everything I could find on this forum (and yes, I
did read all 87 posts on the topic). Anyway, my Mac is a Power PC
G4 with OSX 10.4.11 and my browser is Safari 3.1.
Every time I try to load, it takes me back to the downloads
page on the Adobe website. I've used the uninstaller & tried
reinstalling - no luck. I've tried changing the items mentioned in
QuickTime - no luck. I've even tried using the code with the
Terminal - no luck. Disk permissions - no luck.
Any other suggestions before I take a hammer to my machine??

I just installed the Flash Player 9 on my Power PC based Mac OS X 10.3.9 and
now no Flash elements work in Safari 1.3.2, or even Explorer. I have been sure to close all browsers, uninstall first etc. The
installations appears to complete successfully, but I get the following error
message on any page that has flash: Maybe Flash Player 9 is not compatible with it.

I have reset Safari, tried other browsers, eliminated cookies..... to no avail. All computers running 10.7.2. I have reset Safari, tried other browsers, trashed out cookies. This has me baffled. My other macs running the same OS version work fine. Flash is up to date and have done the current software update. Any help please. I have not blocked any sites and am administator for all machines. I have tried signing in as Guest. Nothing works.

After searching other users questions with related problem, I found that VirusBarrier 6 was the issue. Reconfigured settings there and problem solved.

Why did 25.0.1 stop and 26.0, still, not load the pearltrees website?

On 12/8/2013 (ver.25.0.1) I opened the Pearltrees page and repeatedly got the Adobe Flash Player Local Storage pop-up box; it made it impossible to use Pearltrees. I deleted cdn2.pearltrees.com from the list in the Flash Player Website Storage Settings Panel tab. Visually, Pearltrees page loads in 2 parts: 1rst, the horizontal bar fills with blue color, etc.; then, when full it "blinks" into the login page. Now, it blinks into a blank page. Task manager (OS is Windows XP Pro) indicates the Pearltrees app is running; IE, which I never use, behaves exactly the same. In Chrome, the Pearltrees app runs flawlessly.
Troubleshooting, including your help/support material, and including resetting Firefox to its defaults, deleting cookies & cache, and more, has failed. Pearltrees support showed some initial interest, but never got back to me.
On 12/23/2013 I updated to ver. 26.0, but the Pearltrees problem remains. FYI I have (or had at the time) Flash Player Plug-in ver. 11.9.900.152, and ActiveX ver. 11.9.900.117.

Do you get the context menu of the Flash player when you right-click that blank space?
You need to allow local storage for Flash to make the page work properly.
I get an empty page with the Flash player loaded when I disable LSO globally.

Leaving the default at none keeps giving a request to allow for storage that only goes away when clicking allow or set the Global default to a non-zero value. 
Looks that you need to reload the panel to make this work and get an entry for cdn.pearltrees.com

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Cannot load iweb created website onto iphone.

Cannot load iweb created website with iphone. I have tried with 2 iphones and they couldnt load the page. I also have tried with windows 7 internet explorer, safari and in Leopard also, they'dd all work.
All I get from my iphone is : Safari could not open the page because the server has stopped responding.

Firefox will not load certain major websites.

Firefox and IE on my computer refuse to load certain major websites. The sites are not down, for they work fine on other computers in my house. Yesterday it was just facebook, now it's weather.com as well. It keeps saying server won't load the site. Whatever is causing this is on my system alone. I've run Malwarebytes and Advanced Systemcare along with ESET and a few others. Everything's been cleared off and updated.
I'm betting firefox is corrupt AGAIN, but last time I reinstalled it royal FUBARed itself and I lost everything (mainly annoying for flash game saves and bookmarks) I woud like to avoid that this time around.

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

How can I pubish SWF interactive magazine to flash based website? It's not working!

I hope someone can help me launch my first interactive magazine (SWF) to our website with ID 5. Okay, my hard copy mag came out great so then I started on the interactive edition. Everything was going swell with adding 3 short videos ( FLV ) and creating 3 slide shows. When I previewed it by exporting to SWF I could preview it in my browser fine. Page curls, fade in words (although the “hide until animated” options only works in two out of about 7 instances. I then followed instructions from another Adobe exercise, exported it to Flash, went to Publish Settings, but of course when I pressed “publish” I didn’t get the same result as the teacher…I got an error message about text. I searched a forum with the same message I got and saw that making sure my text setting was set for Classic, solved someone else’s problem. So I did and was able to “publish”. But now, when I open either the SWF or HTML file, it’ just rapidly repeating the 12 pages in my file in a loop!

I have spent most of the summer self teaching myself InDesign CS5 (not easy!) and am excited to be able to put out an interactive SWF file that can be opened in a Flash player through our Flash based website. I feel like I’m just inches away for launch but now I’m getting frustrated. Isn’t this going to be possible?
Also, when I publish it in Flash, it creates a SWF file AND an HTML file. But on our website, I have only one option to make a link to a document OR an outside link to open a file. How does that work?

Originally, I exported the file to SWF (player) and just tried to link that file from our flash based website. It opens fine, page curls fine, slide shows fine, but when you click on the photos with videos, page 5 (father and baby) and two others, the image disappears and only a white comes up to fill that area.

Rob, here is where i have very limited knowledge: As I said we use a flash based (read very user friendly) web hosting company. When I am in the back end to upload the swf file, I have only one option - "attach a video, attach a document, attach a link" so how would I upload a "folder" with more than one item to the server?
I thought it would be considered a video since the SWF file says SWF movie, but when I when i try to upload as a video, it doesn't come up as importable. (am i sounding really stupid?) Maybe I should admit that yes, I'm an ID5 newbie AND yes, I'm no spring chicken but I have been working in CS2,3,4 for several years and now 5 and am quite proficient in the create aspect of Adobe products. It's just now the technical part about how to actually get my in work published to the site.There isn't anyone else in my company able to help me so I have to reach out to this forum!
I love ID and this is just my first effort but I'm looking forward to creating many more interactive magazines for my company.
