Auto-Repeating Layouts & LOV's

Hi,
I am creating an Auto-Repeating Layout with one of the fields being a messageLovInput item. The fields repeat perfectly based on the number of records in the VO, but when n click on the LOV icon the LOV region does not launch, nothing happens.
Can I use messageLovInput items in a Auto-Repeating Layout? Is there someting I am missing here?
Any help is highly appreciated.

Auto-repeating Layout problem

Hi all,
I am having issues when to create an auto-repeating layout and was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction.
I have a parent VO called QuestionsVO and a child VO called linesVO. I have also created a VL linked on questionId, QuestionsToLinesVL. I have then added both view objects to the AM and created the parent/child structure in my OA page as detailed in the user guide, specifying the ‘child view instance, child view attribute and view link instance’ for each.
I notice that when I add the VO’s to the AM it can be done in one of two ways, either separately or as the child via the parent and VL. Done through the VL all responses appeared under all questions, done separately the questions do not appear at all. I assume that the first way is the correct way as this allows the link to be associated with the AM however I was expecting the link to ensure that only the related responses appear under each question.
I have not written any java code, I have not even needed to initialise the VO’s. Does anyone have any thoughs on what I am doing wrong?

I tried to use anchors, but they had no effect when connecting top of 3 to bottom of 2, got the same layout.
I then tried to create frames with vertical elasticity expand around both rep frame 2 and rep frame 3, and it seems to do the job.
- Repeating Frame1 - gives 1 record, contains all other frames, variable vertical elasticity
- - Frame2 - contains all frames beneath - variable vertical elasticity
- - - Frame3 - variable vertical elasticity
- - - - some boilerplates
- - - - Frame 4 - vertical elasticity expand
- - - - - - Repeating Frame 2 - various number of records, fixed vertical elasticity, height 100
- - - - Frame 5 - vertical elasticity expand
- - - - - - Repeating Frame 3 - various number of records, fixed vertical elasticity, height 30
and so on..

I am trying to do the following: I have a VO that i currently display in an Advanced Table on my page. However, the table displays the rows like this:
<Row 1>
<Row 2>
<Row 3>
<Row 4>
And so on. My customer has required something like this:
<Row 1> <Row 2>
<Row 3> <Row 4>
My question is: is this even possible? I have been toying around with rowLayout, tableLayout and CellFormat but i haven't found a combination that displays the above layout. Do you know a way of doing it?

select use as new phone if you want it blanked out.... and select restore from backup if you want it to go back to a previous state.
with the original sim that was in there it will eventually drop the "waiting for activation" messages and will just say No Service... at least thats what mine did

Yes, if you have the QuickTime Pro key activated you can select 'Loop' from the view menu in QuickTime player. Even if you don't have the QuickTime Pro key (which you have to buy) you can still do this by writing an AppleScript which tells the player to open and loop playing the file.

Repeat Purchase Order Output Type - Auto Repeat

Hi,
Currently, when we create the Purchase Order the output type will be automatically generated in the message tab once the Purcahse Order is saved. In our Purchase Order process, we have using the function Purchase Order Online Approval and Purchase Order Auto-email to vendor once the Purchase Order is approved.
For the Purchase Auto-email to vendor, we have modified the output type program to enable the Purchase Order auto-email function to vendor once the Purchase Order and it's working successfully and teh email is based on the output type status.
Now we have problem when the approved Purchase Order is revised and requires the reapproval. Once the Purchase Order is reapproved there is no new output type is genereated and therefore now email is out to vendor.Need the expert advice how to configure to repeat the output type when the Purchase Order is reapproved.

You have to ensure all the changes that are print relevant are included in the following configuration. Basically you have specify the PO fields that are print relevant, which means any change on this field will trigger a new print out message.
Here is the configuration path
SPRO -> Material Management -> Purchasing -> Messages -> Fields Relevant to Printouts of changes

Form Layout LOV on mandatory field

Hi,
I have an LOV on a mandatory field in a form layout. When I am entering a new record and click on the LOV icon the LOV page displays but the calling page gives an error of "Value Required". I have noticed that if I manually change the Immediate property of the field to "false" then I do not get the error.
This error does not occur in table layout.

Do you have multiple LOV's on the page and/or dependent items?
Is the Value Required message related to the LOV item on which you invoke the LOV window, or is it another item?

when I call the Lov then it is displaying 5 records, but when I will select suppose 103 record no. and put in detail block, then after that I again call the LOv then it will display only four record not five....

If you are unhappy about using record groups in this way, you might want to think about using a session temporary table. Do a direct insert into this table every time one gets selected and delete the record every time gets removed from your block. Your lov then simply becomes:
select mytab.*
from my_table mytab
where not exists (select 'already chosen'
from my_session_temp_table mytemp
where mytemp.primary_key = mytab.primary key)
The session temporary table need only hold the primary key vales.
You could probably so the same with a PL/SQL table but I find them hard work. Primarily because I never use them often enough to become comfortable, not because there is anything majorly wrong with them.
One last thought, you could use the base table of the block that you are selecting in the 'not exists' clause. You'd need to post the selects and deletes but it should work. Unfortunately it will post all changes not just the ones you want so it could have a knock on affect.

Auto Refresh Linked LOV's

Hello,
I have a form with two LOV's and they
are linked to each other. One the first changes of value the page should refresh and the select of the second one is adapted (via bind variables ).
All this works fine, when I put the LOV's on items of the table. If I put the first LOV on a item, added later to the form, he tries to refresh, but doesn't fill up the second LOV.
Is this a bug ?

Auto Generate Layout Error

When I puss the Generate button to create a new RTF template based on the default data model, i obtain the following error:

Hi, can be for many reasons, now i thinks two options.
1) Your request is very heavy(for example you request 1.000.000 rows)
2) You have an parameter in your query.
you can create a query with you know request a few rows after that you upload template and copy the old query.
