Automate Customization of "Application customization class name" in BPM

Hi,
I am from BPM Process Accelerators team.
We are trying to automate the "Process Accelerator" install process in DTE.
As part of PA post install tasks, we have to add the value *"oracle.bpmpa.global.model.WorkspaceExternalApp"* against the *"Application customization class name"* field in Application Preferences page in BPM.
We have to automate this activity by writing appropriate script/code.
Any suggestions on how we can achieve this ?

We are working on automating the installation of BPM PAs and execution of MATS tests from DTE topo. One of the post install tasks (after installing BPM PA) involves modifying the value of Application Customization Class Name in BPM Workspace.
Steps to modify it are as below :
1.Login to BPM workspace
2.Navigate to Administration -> Application Preferences
3.Modify the Application Customization Class Name
4.Restart the application.
I am looking for info on how to automate the above steps. Any Java APIs that can be of use ?

Class Name customization in JAXB

Does Sun Jaxb allows customizing class names so that they are same as in schema definition, instad of Java format. For example, if a purhcaseorder schema has complex type named purchaseorder, jaxb generates Class by PurchaseOrder, is there a way to not to do this. Similllary for elements and attributes

Customize JAXB? Ha ha ha! That's a good one.
I can't remember if this is one of the irregular selection of things you can specify. Have you messed around with the binding document? I can't remember what they call it. It's a mapping doucment that's supposed to allow you to do this type of thing but I find it's often not functional.

Unreasonable number of calls to my MDS Customization class

I have created a customization class and added it to adf-config. The class does nothing but return write a log statement and return a static value.
If I build the simplest possible app (EO, VO, AM on DEPT table, JSF page with ADF Form, showing three fields and nav buttons), the log still shows me that my customization class is invoked 33 times (!). There are no actual customizations in the application.
Surely this is wrong? I was expecting one call as part of the page rendering when ADF needs to figure out which fields might be changed.
Can anybody explain what possible reason there could be for 33 method calls? Bonus points if anybody can tell me how to get this number down...

Following the lead of flounder I put a few more calls to the in my tester and added a println(counter) inside the writeCheck method and ran it again.
Something strange happened: counter wasnt printed...so I looked at my tester again and sure enough, I was calling the wrong function...I was calling the withdraw function instead of writeCheck..haha..I guess I have been staring at the screen too long.
So I corrected that and I wrote account.writeCheck(100) in my tester. However now I am getting this error from eclipse: the type writeCheck is unidentified for the type BankAccount....the way this is set up is: Bank account is an abstract class and Chequing a subclass of it inheriting its costructor....
What am I doing wrong?

now i want to make it as z class to make the changes to the methods.
for that i need to know the application set name or zname...
so that i can modify the configure settings by going through tcode SPRO..

Customize POD Name without SDK

Dear experts,
is there a way to customize the name of the POD displayed except of changing the JSP with SDK? I didnt found any possibility for that, but maybe there is one.
In my version, "Production Operator Dashboard:" is displayed and this is something what I would like to change depending on POD name so the user knows which POD is he working with, for example "Testing", "Assembling" or something similar.
The only thing what I have found is the Tab name, which can be controlled throuch POD Description. But if the Browser is in full screen mode, the Tab-Name is not shown.

Having the possibility to customize the name of the backup directory

New user of lightroom v3.3, i noted the impossibility to customize the name of the backup directory.
it's a plain full text with "importé le 10 janvier 2011" for example wich is not the best way to store to retrieve old photos.
is it possible to have à traditional "importé le 2011-01-10" for example so that the directory will folow theimselves hystoricaly?

Customize Place Names in Elements 11

Hello,
I would like to customize the names of Places as I assign them. For instance, I know that this set of pictures was take at the House on the Rock in Wisconsin. Under the "Places" tab, it's listed as 5754 State Road 23 in Spring Green Wisconsin. I'll never remember that this is the ADDDRESS for the House on the Rock, so I want to change the listing to something that will make sense to me as I use the column search function (something logical like: "House on the Rock, Spring Green, Wisconsin")
Is it possible to edit the Place tags?

No. You cannot rename a location marked on Map. The name that appears will be the same as it appears on map.

Possible to not have InDesign CC automatically generate class names based on 'Style Name'?

In the Export Tagging settings in InDesign CC, there is an option to use a custom tag as well as a custom class name. However, if the class is left blank then the Style Name is used in its place.
Is it possible to not have InDesign assign a class automatically?
Here is my scenario: I would like to not clutter up my HTML markup by having a class name of `body` for all my p tags, when I could simply use p without a class and style it in my CSS.

This is even worse than a Bug. It's a huge expense.
Even if you make your paragraph style 1 letter, let's say "B" for "Body", You still end up with <p class=B> instead of just <p>. Now multiply that "class=B" by all the lines in your code and your bloat is greater than 10% on a per file basis.
On Amazon a 3 MB file for example costs 45 cents to transmit to a customer. 10% more means an additional 4.5 cents cost per book. Say you sell 100,000 copies of a book, we're talking .045 x 100,000 = $4,500.00. And remember that MOBIs pretty much double the size of your basic EPUB. This is a serious problem, the correction of which cannot be delayed!

Hi,
we are currently upgrading our environment from R12.1.2 to R12.1.3.(Projects)
In the R12.1.3 there is a change in the TeamTableVO and already we have exteneded the standard VO in R12.1.2 as UDTDPATeamTableVO.
So due to oracle changes the custom VO throwed error in our page, so we retrofitted the 12.1.3 changes in our CustomVO.
After retrofitting the VO the exception page got rectified and the page loads with the following error.
Error :
Message not found. Application: FND, Message Name: FND_VIEWOBJECT_NOT_FOUND. Tokens: VONAME = USTDPATeamTableVO; APPLICATION_MODULE = oracle.apps.pa.team.server.TeamListAM;
Please can anyone help us to resolve this error.

For the first time developed a OAF Page and deployed in Apps Instance .
I followed following steps
Development Steps:
1. Created a New OA Component Page @ Default Package oracle.apps.ak.BGHello.webui
Physcial Location at my PC C:\BG\JDeveloper\JDev_Home11i\myprojects\oracle\apps\ak\BGHello\webui\BGHelloworld.xml
2. A Controller is attached Main Region of the above Page ie. BGHelloWorldMainCO.java (Same as that of Document Guide HelloWorld Example)
3. Build the Project and Run the Page
It Runs Successfull Without any Error
Deployment
1. Migrated BGHelloworldPG.xml to $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/BGHello\webui\BGHelloworld.xml Via WINSCP in Text/ASCII Transfer Type
2. Migrated BGHelloWorldCO.class (From Myclass directory) to $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/BGHello\webui\BGHelloWorldCO.class Via WINSCP in Binary Transfer Type
3.Imported Page and Its Components via import batch from windows command prompt (i.e C:\BG\JDeveloper\11iRUP6\jdevbin\jdev\bin)

Why oh why? What do you want to achieve?
Let me tell you: there is a way to do what you try to do, but it's not recommended and should be used only very sparingly. Especially not in anything like your code, that resembles normal business logic (as opposed to an application framework such as Spring, for example).
Can you explain what exactly you want to do with that? Why should a Teacher be able to call any random method ony any other class. And what good would that do?

How to programmatically get the source for a class provided the class name?

As a quick background, I am providing some tools to potential users of an in-house framework. One is the ability to generate quick prototypes from our existing demo applications. Assume a user downloads our jars and uses them in their project (we are using Eclipse, but that detail should not greatly affect my question). Included in the jars is a demos package that contains ready-to-run classes that serve to exhibit certain functionality. Since many users may just need quick extensions of these demos, I am trying to provide a way for them to be able to create a new project that starts with a copy of the demo class.
So, the user is provided a list of the existing demos (each one uses a single class). When the user makes their selection, with the knowledge of our framework, I can translate that into what demo class they need (returned as a string of format package.subpack1.subpackn.DemoClassName). What I now want to do is to use that complete class name to get the source (look up the file) for the corresponding class, and copy it into to a new file in their project (the copying into the project can be done easily in Eclipse, so what I need help with is the bolded part). Is there a simple way to get the source given a class path for a class as described above? You may assume the source files are included in the jars for the framework.

If there's a file named "package.subpack1.subpackn.DemoClassName.java" in a "demos" directory in the jar, then yes. You'd just use
InputStream code = getResourceAsStream("/demos.package.subpack1.subpackn.DemoClassName.java");Or if those dots in the name actually separate directory names, i.e. you have a "package" directory under "demos" and a "subpack1" director under that and so on, then:
