Automatically resize the height

Hi!
I am trying to bild an application where I have a list of
items aligned vertically (Like a 1-column TileList or List).
The problem is: I am using 2 states in my custom ItemRenderer
to expand the information, whcih also expands the height.
But when I do that with a TileList or List the height of the
row is not expanded correspondingly. Thats why right now I am using
a mx:Grid or a mx:Panel. Here it is no problem, the following items
simply get moved down or up when I open or close items.
But I have 2 problems now: How can I get alternating
background colors? How can I select one item completly like in a
TileList, List or Datagrid.
I also played with the datagrid but here it is the same. The
row height does not adopt dynamically to the chaning content. How
can I achieve that?
Or would an mx:Tree be the better solution? How can I use
custom itemrenderers with trees? I only need 2 levels (1: TITEL,
2:CUSTOM RENDERER).

I found out something: There is no "real" limitation. But if
the content has not set any height it is set to something around
250px.
I also ussed your code for testing and simply increased the
number of items in the list so that it can not fit in any more (
http://weblogs.macromedia.com/pent/archives/2006/04/a_list_itemrend.cfm).
There I have the same behaviour.
But if I set the height of the List containing the car models
manually, e.g. to 400 the main List row has the right size.
So all I need now is to know how I can set the height of the
list containing yoru car models to the "perfect" height to match
ALL the content. Then the main row should adapt correctly...

I use the Tools > Annotate > Add Text feature, and when I click away after adding text, it automatically changes the text box size such that the last letter -- or last word -- gets bumped off into an invisible line below it, forcing me to manually adjust every single text box. It is highly annoying when trying to complete PDF forms (e.g. job applications).
It appears to be a glitch, quite honestly, an error resulting from Apple's product design. Has it been fixed in the new operating system (for which they want $30)?
I would very much appreciate any help you can provide! Thank you for your time.

* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Hi,
In HFR if you are not allowing expansion on the row or column, it wont expand itself according text length.
So you need to anticipate the row hight and width according to your need. You can define this in the property sheet.

PSE how to have photo automatically resize the a 12 X 12 background document

I was told that when you drag a photo onto a 12x12 document it will automatically resize to the 12 x 12. When I do it in PSE the photo is small...and asking me to transform it. Is this different within these two programs or is there a work around in PSE. I had a friend try it in her photoshop program and the image wasn't distorted at all...Didn't appear huge, like if I transform it.

Both are set at 300....it's a very small picture... 4x3 my online friend uses CS5 and said it automatically changed it to the 12x12 blank document when she dragged it on...I did that but it gets very large and blurry...I studied about smart objects and used place to open photo and then tried to resize it....she clipped a mask watercolor underneath to give it emphasis... she then tilted the whole picture.she's out of town for the moment...I was trying to figure out what she did...for the life of me I can't get mine to resize to the 12 x 12....it expands larger than hers when I try.

When an image is added to a document, the incoming image is scaled to the resolution of the target document. Make sure the resolution is the same for both, or simply use the Move tool on the pasted image to resize it to suit. The incoming photo is never resized automatically to the target document's dimension. Ken

How to I stop safari from automatically resizing the bookmark bar when I click on the search bar?

there is probably an eloquent way to ask this but I don't even know what the feature is called.
Here is what it's doing:
I'm using safari in landscape mode on my iPad.
I click on the search bar and then the bookmarks come up below.
It takes a second to automatically resize to a size that make no sense, usually cutting off bookmark titles...and the delay of it resizes drives me nuts.
Safari did not used to do this until I guess ios 8. Any ideas how to stop this annoying "feature"??

Try deleting the Cache.db...
Quit Safari.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari ...
You may want to try the Safari Reading List as an alternative to tabs.
Click the eyeglass icon just to the left of the Bookmarks icon top left side of the Safari window.
Drag the url to the window or click Add Page

How can I get Illustrator to automatically resize the font to a designated page width?

I want to be able to type lines of text and have Illustrator automatically change the font size so that it fits that width of the page exactly, even if on one line there are 8 words and on another line there are 2 words - I want the big and small letters effect. I was previously doing this in Photoshop manually but someone suggested I could do it easier in Illustrator so here I am....

each line has to be a separate text object (point text, not area text)

Automatically resizing the tray with respect to iView Size

Hi,
I want width of the tray should be automatically resized same as the width of the iView in page layout of the SAP EP.
I have tried to set the same using "Width of the External Window" property of the iView from content administrator but it doesn't work.
Any help??

goto sys admin,
portal display.

select your theme
under Complex elements
iView trays
but her too you can make it automatic or dynamic(changing the size according to the iViews).
but can set the size of the trays...

Resizing the height on tables

I have created a table on my page, I have not put anything in my table, however I am not able to resize my table, what could be the problem? I have gone to the properties and tried to manually put in the height, and width, and I also changed the height and width in code view, but it doesn't change the size of the table.
I also changed the font to be ex-small, however the table size does not change. Can anyone help me.

I am trying to resize table that has the verbiage Plan Complaints Training. I click on the table and the arrows show up as though I can adjust the height and the width, but the size of the table does not move.
I usually insert the table above the table labeled bottom. I click on insert/table, to insert a table.
The header that I was referring to, is the blue background image at the top of the page that has CMS in the right hand corner. That is the file name that one of the developers gave this file.

Try this script. Save the page as .jsx the the "Presets>Scripts" AI folder. When you restart AI it will appear in the "Scripts" menu. Select the text block and run the script.

Is there anyway to stop PS Touch automatically resizing the file/image when saving to Gallery

I bought the Note primarily for the PS touch feature as a way of editting my photos on the move and not being tied to my PC at home. Now i load up my images from the MicroSD card and edit away but when i save them i only have the option of saving to Gallery and not the memory card (not a major problem itself). However they are automatically reduced in both file size but also image size, which is fine for small prints but i like having the option of printing larger so would prefer to keep the large file size if possible.
On a similar note is it possible to save direct back to the memory card overwritting the original or is it always going to go to the gallery?

The only thing you can to it to set the import size to the max value within the PS Touch Settings-> Image Import
When your image is even larger than the MAX value, PS Touch downscales the image.

Is there a way to automatically size the facet Top of a pan stretch layout?

The value can exactly contain the panelBox contained when it is disclosed. When the user undiscloses the panelbox, I want to automatically resize the top facet height to exactly contain the undisclosed panel box.
Is there anyway to do this via expression language on pre-defined propertries of the components?
If possible I would like to avoid to create a bean which gets the height programmatically from the panelBox.

The height of mx:RichTextEditor in VDividedBox cannot be reduced to less than 200.

I'm using <mx:VDividedBox >, in which there are a mx:RichTextEditor and mx:Image, as in the code below.
When I dragged the divider of the VDividedBox to resize the heights of the Image and RichTextEditor, I found that the height of the
RichTextEditor cannot be reduced to less than 200. Is this a bug?

How to resize the menu,address and bookmark toolbars. Not the font but the toolbar sizes

I'm trying to reduce the overall space of the top of the firefox page.
I have the menu and the the bookmarks tool bars checked and between those 2 and the address and site header it takes up way to much real estate.
My font size is good but the wasted area is way to much and I can't seem to find the simple answer to looking for addons and themes to just resize the height of the space.
This is the new 33.1 and up to this point all custom has been a breeze.

Have you considered running Firefox in [[How to make Firefox and websites go full screen|Full Screen mode]]? There is also an extension that hides the toolbars until you hover your mouse over the top of the screen:
