Automator. Need to send multiple photos each by one email.

Hello everybody.
Help me please to create a task in Automator.
I have 500 images of JPEG 12-15 MB size and I need to send each one to [email protected] one by one email.
Since some mail servers have permit of size attachments not more than 20 MB - I can send only one image per one email.
So the steps simply are:
1) New mail
2) enter email address
3) add attachment (number 1)
4) send
Next
1) New mail
2) enter email address <<< same email
3) add attachment (number 2)
4) send
Etc...
Best regards,
Art Fry.

I had a similar problem and created a service to attach from finder to a new email and then I changed to Outlook and had to update it to do the same in outlook.
open automator
Under choose template select "service"
At the top of script side will be the option "Service receives selected" set to "file" in "you can choose any application but since I only want this in finder that was my choice"
select the mail program in automator so that the related actions are shown.
if you use Mac Mail
first select New Mail Message by dragging into the script.
2nd select add attachment to front message.
if you use outlook
first select Create New Outlook Mail Message
2nd Add Attachments to Outlook Messages
save the scripted service with an appropriate name such as attach to email.
From then when you right click in finder the option to "attach to email" (or whatever you named it) will be shown to activate your script.

I am not aware of a way except for photos that allows you to select multiple files in an email. I even checked settings in the Adobe Reader app, and it does not show that ability.

  • Is there a way to send multiple pdf's in one email from iBooks?  I have several that I've saved that I need to send to one person. If it can't be done directly, is there a work around?

Warehouse that PDF on your own server, then link to it from your book.

  • Sending multiple photos in mail

I read an old post that said it was not possible to send multiple photos in mail from the iPhone. Well, I have done it, but in a rather clunky fashion.
I first made a new message to send, but left the To: address empty.
I then went to the camera roll and selected one photo by holding my finger on it for a short time, long enough for the "Copy" option to pop up. I copied it.
I returned to mail and pasted that photo into the message area.
Returned to the camera roll and copied another photo
Returned to the mail, entered 2 returns after the existing photo and pasted again.
I then entered the recipients address. (For some reason the paste option would not appear if I entered the To: field first)
This way you don't get the opportunity to make the photo sizes medium or small, but if the message is too large you are given the option of do that. It minimizes just enough of the photos to pass the size test, but it did work.
This is clunky. Does anyone know of a better way to do it?
    Thanks, John Shanks

You can select more than one photo at a time followed by selecting copy if you have aleady started composing a message and if not, you can select more than one at a time followed by selecting Share instead which will create a new email with each photo added as an attachment.

  • How can I send multiple photos in an email?

How can I send multiple photos in an email?

In Photos, when looking at your pictures, click the Action arrow first (upper right), before selecting any pictures.  Then you can tap select the pictures you want to send then click "Share" in the upper left.  From there you can Email.
If you click and open one picture first, the Action button will only allow you to share that one picture.
(Yeah, took me a while to figure this out. )

  • TS3276 I need to send a photo via email as an attachment and not it shown in the body of the email?

I need to send a photo via email as an attachment and NOT have it shown in the body of the email?  Please help.

To make attachments not appear in the body of the e-mail as a default, try using the Applications/Utilities/Terminal command below. I suggest copy and paste.
defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -bool YES

  • Sending multiple photos with iOS4

Am I missing something here or does the latest update NOT let you send multiple photos anymore? Kinda annoying that they took that feature away.

It is possible to send multiple images via email by selecting them from the photo album first, then selecting share> email. It also looks like you now have the option to not downscale the images as was done in v3.1.3 via copy > pasting multiple images to email. So overall, iOS4 is a big improvement in this regard.

  • I need my sender verification number so I can email photos.  It is not sending me one.

I need my sender verifcation number so I can email photo's.  I just bought adobe photshop elements 11 and when I click on send number, it doesn't.

Hi Marie, I’ve found it usually works best with web mail via Adobe after obtaining verification. I know some email services block bulk email completely and I’ve only tested it with Gmail which works fine. Should also work with other web mail e.g. Yahoo and Hotmail. Give it a try. Before you start it will help to check your internet security settings. If they are set to High, reduce the settings to Medium temporarily. Then follow these instructions.
    1. Log in to your mail provider on the web and add the following email to your address/contacts book.
    [email protected]
    2. Open Organizer and on the menu click:
    Edit >> Preferences >> Sharing
    3. Choose Adobe Email Service from the client dropdown menu.
    4. Add your name and email address to the fields provided and click OK
    5. Test the system (first use only)  by selecting a photo in organizer and choosing Share >> Photo Mail then click Next (Mac users should use attachments)
    6. Choose a contact then click  Next
    7. Click Next Step, then click Next - the sender verification dialog will open.
    8. Check you have spelt your email address correctly and hit the Resend E-Mail button.
    9. Go to your inbox (also check spam) and when the Adobe mailer message is received copy (Ctrl+C) the long verification code.
    10. Return to the verification dialog and paste it (Ctrl+V) into the Sender verification field and click OK. Wait for validation confirmation then click OK to continue

  • How can I control the image size when I export form iphoto, the choice is too limited, I need to send a photo under 3 MB but if I choose high quaulity it is only 1.1 and i need to keep the best quaulity I can. Thanks for help.

Any image can only be as large as the Original. With a program like Photoshop you can UpRes an image and get it to a bigger size, larger files size as well, but the actual quality of the image will be degraded, depending on the UpRes system and the original quality of the image.
iPhoto is not the program to be doing that in and I don't think it even has that option.
So I suspect the image you are trying to send isn't much bigger than what you are getting. You can also try Exporting it from iPhoto to yopur desktop and see what size you end up with. If it is still that 209KB +/- file size then that is the size of the original image.

  • What's the best way to send multiple photo's to another iMac

Unless these are very small photos or few in number they should use a sharing service, DropBox is good but there are many others.

  • Sending multiple photos over E-mail

I can't figure out how to send multiple photos from my iPhone 4 in an e-mail message like I can in a text message.  Does anyone know how to do this?

Tap Photos > Camera Roll (or wherever the photos are stored) and then tap Edit, then select up to any 5 at once and tap Share > Email.
You can only send any 5 at a time probably due to the high quality of the photos, this makes the files larger.

  • Emailing photo using MS Exchange Server sends multiple copies of the same email

Emailing 1 photo using Microsoft Outlook Exchange server sends multiple copies of the same email and photo.  50+ at last count.  Also, since I emailed the photo to myself, then deleted these multiple copies from my inbox and sent items, my work Outlook exchange server will no longer sync.  Is there a solution for this?
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

    Thanks for your reply.
I have restarted multiple times.  I have also removed and re-added outlook exchange email 3 times.  This only affects exchange server email.  I can send the photo from my gmail and it only receives 1 copy.  I was wondering if this was a known issue and if someone had a fix for it.  Otherwise would have to wait for the next WebOS update.

  • When I try to send multiple photo from my photo albums and hit share, the email box doesn't show up.  Whats going on?

When I try to send multiple photo from my photo albums and hit share, the email box option doesn't show up.  The only options are facebook, message,   It was there last evening and I used it.  Whats going on?

There is a limit on the number of photos that you can send in one email from the photos app, but I thought it was five. In any event, you know that you can send mutiple photos from the mail app itself and you can send more than 5.
When you are typing an email - Tap and hold down in the body of the message area and select "Insert Photo or Video" from the black pop up options bar. Select the photos that you want to include from the photos app window that appears. Then hit return on the keyboard and start the process all over again.
You can insert photos, type text, enter more photos .... any way that you would like to do it.

  • How do I send multiple photos from my ipad2... only let's me choose one!!!

how do I send multiple photos from ipad2

If you view the photos in thumbnail view, as opposed to full screen, then via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it at the top right of the app you should be able to select up to 5 photos and attach them to an email via the Email button towards the top left of the app (on iOS 5 it's via Share not Email).
